I had a randomly-generated thought tonight.
While I myself have little intention of getting myself or Felucia involved in the war, what I could offer is Belkadan as a safe haven for refugees. I mean, well, my intention was to leave Belkadan as a "Jedi Safe Haven" after Aerandir's move to Felucia, so it's about time it gets to live up to its name. It's remote and far away out of the way, a good hiding place. I have two of my alts there right now too that could contribute to a story, one newer that could use something to do in looking after refugees. No battle interest right now; it's supposed to be a safehold, it should stay that way for a while. Might change that stance later, but that's likely a slim chance. Still, thought I'd throw that out there.

heh the invasion of Seleevan Khar.. that was a while ago... i remember (hey thats new) that i was.. held up in the infirmery as i crashed my patrol fighter and lost my eyes JUST as that was about to happen... closer to a year and a half i think.. considering i havent posted for slightly more than a year now and there was a bit of time waiting for a few posts before that...
herm that reminds me.. all my stuff (my backpack) is still on Corellia and ive been meaning to get that shipped over to felucia at some point.. oh and youll find a bucnch of your room keycards in there i never managed to distribute to Aedon and his crew as they were about to help out .. ya know in case you were lookin for them >.<

Well, I could send some random students (mostly NPCs, maybe a PC teacher or Padawan, depending who's planning on doing what after/during the attack) from Ossus to Belkadan in an evac...not sure how much RP that'll bring, though...that is, if they're not still on Yavin from the last attack...hmm...anyway, I'm sure there's a way we can make it work. If you're interested, that is. If not, that's cool, too.

Ok, so where are we on Ossus? Yavin? Are we getting any closer to moving forward? The Carida team has pretty much fizzled due to having to wait on that part, just like I had predicted. About the only thing I can say for sure is happening on our end now is the mobile mining platform, and thats only cuz Jade is persistent. Do we even have a rough timeframe I can give the guys and girl on Carida, so we know when we can move forward with -our- part of this? We were asked to wait, and we have been patient, but Ive heard little to nothing about it.

See, this is the problem with such a big group writing the same RP. Some just don't move as fast. Speeding up the Mando's will do nothing to free you up I'm afraid, Adi. Getting the Joshua thing moving quicker wouldn't either, though I could probably get that closer to where we need.
I can't give a timeframe at all and I doubt anyone could due to the multitude of variables inherent in this kind of co-op.

Mando side is fine. The Jedi side is the slow one, lol. And I know they are. Im waiting to post til the first post of the Ossus battle. Ive been telling people that, lol. I dont wanna move til they get going.

. . .who have you told that to? I know I am doing what I can, with Corr and them, to get Josh and crew to Carida and then to Ossus-- but it is as Corr says.
Pretty much all of my storylines have halted to a snails pace, i am just glad that I have new job that keeps me busy enough not to be distraught about it. :-P

Yeah, I've got plenty going on IRL to keep me busy at the moment. Perhaps the whiners want to try going outside or something else other than sitting staring at a screen waiting for someone thousands of mile away to post. >_>

Yavin is progressing as fast as it can feasibly progress given the numbers of writers involved.
As for Ossus... someone else definitely needs to take charge of that whole shindig, as I have enough on my plate.
