Read said post. I shall respond tomorrow night, as Monday is Labor Day and I have no constraints.
I imagine we'll either be jumping out at least after I post next..or Liya and Oz have finished with the decoding.

So what's our plan from here? After Oz decrypts the datacard, I will ask him for his help locating the crew (including Fel), and then I will be returning to the Red Cred with lots of information and several urgent reasons for going to Bespin. I think that means it will be time for us to break the blockade.
Oz and I should be able to trace Fel as far as having left the Independence and landed on Skip One. It would make sense for us to figure that he's safe there, but out of our reach, and leave him behind temporarily, with Liya circling back later in the Bronze Star (which the Syndicate wouldn't yet know is tied to Dante or Seros). To actually confirm he's missing (and maybe get some clues about who took him) requires a visit to Skip One, since any communications through the asteroid field are near impossible. I think I should simply summarize that side trip and our decision to split up the crew with some time-skip narrative, like Karana has already done on her side, rather than writing out the entire thing.

Annnnd posted. Always wanted a medlab, haven't had a decent one since Red Dawn. Nice posts all around everyone...been enjoying reading them all.
As for the plan, I think a time skip would probably be best. I think we all have solidified and cemented our reasons for being involved (or not involved) in the story enough that a time skip isn't going to hurt anything on a PC level.
So...decryption, Oz scans, Liya confirms the scan (Timeskip), Liya returns with urgent news and reasons to go to bespin...and then we run the blockade? I'm trying to get it straight in my head.

No. Decrypt. Return with reasons to go to Bespin as a result of the decryption. Run the blockade. [TIMESKIP: circle back to Skip One, find Fel missing, crew splits up]. Travel to/arrive on Bespin.

Liya is going to want to play in your lab if she ever finds out what you have in there. She hasn't had access to equipment like that in over 3 years. Haha.

Me? Break it? Never.
Unless you count explosive incineration or molecular disintegration.

So should I just wait for the time skip before posting again? I was going to work on one tonight but I'm not really sure where to go with it since everyone else is on an entirely different page than me.

You could, though, you might be able to help Dante. Would Daniel have access - via the holonet - to university databases and such? Specifically things related to the force and such?

Up to you, Daniel. Once I'm back on the ship, I think it would be good character-development-wise for Liya to interact with you, but there might not be a chance for that for a while.
We should fit it in before we get to Bespin, though.

I'm not saying you can't, but that would make it a very different conversation.
Liya's had a chance to "interrogate" everyone else except Daniel, so she'll have some questions for him now. But she wouldn't ask the same questions if Seros were there, because (no offense) you're relatively a stranger at this point. And she definitely wouldn't reveal her academic past to a Jedi (since she distrusts force users on principle), whereas if it's just Daniel, she might pity him and say a bit more. She would want to make sure that Daniel feels like a part of the team, in case he ever has to watch our backs later on.

Mmm, well I'm going to head to a cabin in one of my next posts...
It's not like we have a gazillion ships with living quarters or anything.
Seros, you can walk in on Dante if you want - the sight should be bizarre enough that it should interest him. I haven't had a chance to expand on the more religeous side of Dante, this would probably be a good chance.

Beautiful posts, it feels good to come back after a few days to catch up on the progress everybody has made.
So, I'm back and with time to put up at least one post today on the ship, if not more.
So after Jace finishes in the med-bay I was thinking of heading up to the cockpit to see what Daniel was up to, and get filled in with what he's discovered (or try to get filled in). Once Liya shows up he could get filled in with what she's learned as well as their next destination. From there Jace would either stick around for a few posts or leave Liya to 'interrogate' Daniel, heading down to see what sort of trouble Dante and Seros had cooked up.
Thoughts? Ideas?

We're definitely going to need to fill each other in once I get back.
Did we ever decide how we are going to run the blockade? I assume Oz has a plan for that, since he doesn't want us leaving during lockdown.

I was just gonna jump in in front of the blockade, hack the control systems for their fighters and capital ship weapons, fly through the now-weaponless fleet, and jump out the other side. Maybe set a few of them to self destruct if I'm feeling particularly spiteful...
