Having ensured that all tasks needed to be completed by all members of the Kunigunde's crew were finished prior to the Emperor's address, Ishild watches the holoprojection of Nicademus rallying his forces along with the members of her bridge crew, joining her voice to all aboard the Nebula-class Star Destroyer and, she imagines, to all those who hear their Emperor speak, as she proudly echoes the motto of the First Order after Nicademus does when concluding his inspirational speech.

Hanging in orbit above Taris, the Resurgent-Class Star Destroyer, Conquered Star, sat at the head of the Imperial Fleet gathering for the impending operation, trailing behind the Emperor's flagship. Something big was going down, and Petrovsky knew it. Not since the days of the First Order's expansion and its subsequent war with the Galactic Alliance had a show of force of this caliber been required. Listening to the Emperor's speech, Petrovsky nodded as the Emperor concluded. All glory to the Order. As Harlan continued to review status reports of the fleet and ground crews, the hologram sprang to life before him. A hooded figure. Only the tattooed lips and chin could be seen.
Petrovsky. The Emperor is moving towards something big. His presence there confirms it. He has always been a military strategist. He cannot resist the chance to flex his military intellect...
At this, Harlan raised an eyebrow quizzically.
"Indeed. To what do I owe this...unexpected pleasure, mi'lord?"
The image chuckled, then continued speaking.
Since our previous excursion together, I had my A.I seed your systems with monitoring software. You will feed me intel on the upcoming assignment, High Admiral. Size and strength of both sides. Troop deployments and tactical maneuvers...
Growing weary of the increasing demands upon him and the blackmailing and subterfuge, Petrovsky merely nodded in agreement. At this point, scrubbing the Star's entire internal network for the hidden monitoring systems would be counter-productive. And he couldn't afford to worry about that right now. Though, it now made sense as to why the Blackguard had been so quick to offer repairs after the raid on Felucia. He should have known better than to trust his predecessor. But, he wasn't going to be the one who threw him in front of the hover train. But he would be the one there to see all of these manipulations backfire. And that day was coming...
"Of course, mi'lord. I will ensure you receive data packets at regular intervals. I will see to it personally...-"
Spare me your imperial pragmatism, Harlan. Even at this distance, I can sense your doubts...your thoughts...and I know your intentions before you even intend to act on them. You have been a valuable tool, Harlan, nothing more. Don't ever think I don't know what's going on with any of my assets. After this final task, I will require your services no longer...which means you are free to do as you wish...but don't dare turn around and bite the hand that once fed you. I sculpted you into what you are, to suit my own needs so I could bend you to my will. I can just as easily take that all away...and no one would be the wiser. Do we have an understanding, High Admiral?
Having stiffened up at being cut off, insulted and threatened all at once, Harlan nodded, deciding now was not the time to tell the Grand Moff to go frak himself.
"We have an accord, mi'lord."
And with that, Harlan terminated the link. Sighing deeply, the High Admiral knew he would eventually have to turn against his puppet master, but until the opportune moment arose, he would remain silent. Motioning for a drink to be brought to him, he continued to review the incoming reports of the fleet.

On board of the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer Holocron everything had been prepared by Captain Naya Thax already, when Jenia's Lambda-shuttle arrived within the hangar. Being reminded slightly of the one her own flagship, the Banshee offered, although it was massive compared to the one of the Victory II-class Star destroyer, the white-haired woman mustered it briefly, as she was more or less used to the sight of these ships. The hard part was as usual the organization of the crew, as she already witnessed the problem on her previous ships. Wheras it was easy on an Vindicator-cruiser to know at least the majority of a 3,000 man crew and the stationed soldiers, things became more difficult on an 8,000 men Victory II- Star Destroyer, as Jenia found out recently. On the Holocron there were nearly 15,000 individuals including herself present. Thus she was thankful that most of the stationed troops weren't under her direct command, as the Imperial Star Destroyer served mainly as a troop career, wheras the actual crew was somewhat manageable. Inspecting the hangar's compliment only briefly, she noticed that several crew members and Stormtroopers had already prepared some of the so-called "Aquatic AT-AT's", which were basically the swimming version of the regular AT-AT. Their deployment on the coming ground battle on Dac would be necessary as the Mon Calamaris had several fortresses and defences installed, both on the surface and underwater. Other aquatic and amphibious vessels could be seen as well being transfered, but for Kasalle they hardly mattered. The present generals and colonels would know what they are doing as otherwise they wouldn't be stationed on one of the 40 Star Destroyers.
More important for Jenia's role within the upcoming space battle were the 72 star fighters, of which she had picked 8 of the compliment by her own. Among the regular TIE/fo's, the TIE/sf's and a few TIE Neutralizers the Banshee-squad, being a total of 8 TIE Silencers was stationed on board of the Holocron - they would mean the difference between life and death of her TIE squadrons and the surrounding fleet, as they were composed out of the best pilots, Jenia could obtain from the Imperial Academy of Kuat. Not even an X-Wing would rival those star fighters easily, although she was concerned that the upcoming battle would take its toll on the newly formed squadron as well. In the end its success would come down to their leading pilot and squadron leader Nathan Caldwell. While Jenia could only tell the squadron its targets and objectives during the battle, the survival of the squadron was always dependent on the squadron leader. Their success was especially important to her, as she would be always on direct channel with the pilots during the battle - there was noone else except for the Emperor himself and other superiors, whom else she could trust with tasking the most valuable asset of her fleet for the duration of the upcoming conflict. Once she had spotted these star fighters, she proceeded towards the bridge as she was now certain that they had arrived safely as well.
Nearly thirty minutes it took the Rear Admiral until she reached the bridge, being as wide and grand as she was used to from her time of commanding an Interdictor- Star Destroyer on her own. With most of the crew being already assigned, Jenia was introduced to a lot of new officers by Captain Thax, who was diligent as usual, while she named every single important crew member on the bridge with her commanding voice. Jenia nearly smiled by the thought that Naya was in private more friendly and less intimidating than she was at work right now. Within the eyes of each officer, new as old, she saw the respect, which they already held for the captain and herself. Once the procedure was over, Kasalle read quickly the reports regarding the Holocron in order to be as usually informed about the main activities on board, before continiueing with contacting the Admiral to whom Jenia's ship would be assigned. Knowing her own position and the status of her crew, Rear Admiral Kasalle was confident, that they would master the flight to Dac, no matter how much the Galactic Alliance would test them within its home territory.

Patching in to the Holocron's comms, the image of High Admiral Petrovsky would appear on the bridge in hologram form. Given the amount of high ranking officers present, Harlan was tasked with checking in and keeping everyone coordinated. Standing with his arms clasped behind his back, he spoke.
Rear Admiral Kasalle. Status report.
Managing this many ships was not difficult, especially with the highly trained and disciplined officer of the First Order. Any other navy with lesser trained individuals might have had an issue, but the First Order Imperial Navy prided itself on the training of its officers.

As Kasalle heard the well-known voice of none other than the High Admiral himself, she immidiately responded, only showing with a subtle hand gesture towards surrounding Lieutenants and Captain Thax that they should procede as regular with their current work. ::Holocron reporting, High Admiral::, she replied stiff and diligent as usual, responding over hologram as well, ::Everything is functioning so far and all stations are prepared for battle, starfighters set up for launch once we enter enemy orbit. Military forces on board are present in full strength, awaiting further orders from the High command and the Emperor. Same goes for the ships, supporting the Holocron. Our section of the fleet is ready and waits for the final command.::
To some point she was nervous, even though it was only natural. Jenia had always a terrible feel before every incoming battle, even with an Imperial ship under her direct command and the expectation of victory in the name of the First Order. So far the routine was done and the Imperial Star Destroyer, along with the smaller vessels which would accompany it, was prepared for most ships, which would dare to cross their path - and with an entire fleet in her back, she knew that it wasn't her burden alone. Not while the Emperor was present, overlooking the battle as much as she would do. And yet routine would end the moment, they would leave hyperspace and end up at Dac. As she told once one of her sworn captains in the Banshee-fleet, there was no real routine within the job of an Admiral. Once they would arrive they would finally know with what they had to deal with and whether the First Order would succeed in subdueing the very heart of the Galactic Alliance or if they would nontheless fail.
In mind she hoped for the best, nontheless.

Among the Imperial Class Star Destroyers in the orbit of Taris, perhaps only a few were as storied as the Crusader. Having recently been retrofitted with newer First Order gear, the ship certainly looked and felt newer then many of the other ships in the fleet. This was simply due to the fact that the ship had been completely redone, not an actual symbol of the age of the ship. In the small entrance area used to both receive important individuals and also to see them off, a gold plaque was engraved in the forward-facing wall, denoting the Legion of Merit the ship and it's crew had been awarded. As it was towards the edge of the fleet, as it moved forward, it advanced into the rising sun, the light being punctuated by the star destroyer grey hull of the vessel. As light filtered in through the view-ports on the bridge, Admiral Garrick Needa's face was illuminated by the star. He was alongside a massive collection of other vessels of the same class gathered in orbit of the magnificent world of Taris. Support ships gathered around the larger vessels in the fleet, the Crusader being no exception. Garrick assumed that the only reason such a large fleet was present here was due to the fact that a major military strike was about to be launched. Perhaps even against Mon Cala, the capital of the Alliance. The Alliance, which had been weakened by corruption and a string of military losses, was unable to properly defend against the First Order. The Admiral looked out at the assembling fleet, in the cold environment of the ship. The Admiral had joined the communications frequency being used by the Holocron and the Conquered Star. This is Admiral Garrick Needa, requesting permission to join the assembled fleet.

As the High Admiral, seated in his command chair on the elevated platform on the bridge, went about his business, another Admiral of the Imperial Navy checked in. It was Garrick Needa. Sporting quite the reputation, Harlan could respect the man, given all that he had accomplished. A veteran of several major battles and skirmishes, Needa was one of the most experienced senior officers the Navy had. The fact that he was going to be a part of the upcoming operation was well earned and certainly well deserved. Motioning to one of the comms officers on the bridge, Petrovsky spoke.
"Open a line to Admiral Needa. I would like to speak to him directly."
As the order was carried out, the High Admiral was patched in to the Crusader carrying Admiral Needa.
Admiral Needa. Permission granted. What is your status?
Petrovsky knew that out of all of the officers assembled among the various ships, he would be the one most prepared. Too prepared, some muight say, however, in Harlan's mind, there was no such thing.

One of the oldest functioning battle groups within the resurgent Empire a broadside cruiser, Tartan Cruiser and Imperial II Frigate, these three ships were part of the Fel Empire and part of the Imperial Remnant inside the Deep Core. Indeed each was named after a member of the formal royal family of the Empire. Hanging about on the outside of the fleet they ran regular patrols on the edge of the system. With this many ships in orbit if word was to get out of them being there the Galactic Alliance would know something was coming. The Fel battle group was joined by a CC-7700 frigate, each of the four commanders getting a feel for each others style as they prepped for the attack.
Since rejoining the Empire Xeonon had felt more at peace than he had in a long time. It was odd to watch yourself die, or at least a clone of yourself but it was not the first time that he had died. It was for the good of the Empire. Another traitor and war criminal had been hunted down and dispatched. The people of Muunilisnt given closure.
Walking the corridor outside the quarters of the Nicademus on the Ad Gloriam he wished to be beside the man but had been expressly been told no. The Imperial Knights had the duty of protecting him today. As such the Six Guards stood silent and ready their armour bright and shiny in the incandescent lights inside the hallways of the ship. Two were posted on either side of the hallway and a single one outside the Emperors room. None spoke, and all were alert ready for the slightest hint of danger. Danger Xeonon doubted would arise.

Above Taris, the Command shuttle suddenly appeared out of hyperspace, in a blue streak that looked a bit like a comet, and began weaving through the Star Destroyers that had been assembled. There had not been battles like these since the days of the Deep Core Remnant. Four TIEs from the nearest ship came out to greet them, although the shuttle flew dead ahead, straight for the command vessel, the Imperial-Class Star Destroyer Punisher. They would refuel the ship before they headed off for Dac, and would probably eat something while they were aboard as well. A pilot came down from the cockpit.
“We’ve arrived, sir.”
Vermeil turned to face the man. He had a high pitched voice, extremely hard on the ears. He sneered under the helmet, still taller than the short-ish officer despite the fact that he was sitting down, staring at the man through the helmet of his crimson armor.
“Shouldn’t you be flying the ship?”
He spoke in a low, menacing tone, enough to get the pilot to scurry back to the cockpit. He turned to Harnan, waiting for some sort of verbal or non-verbal cue.

Xeonon Solomon On one of the observation decks, Nicademus gazes out at the gathering fleet. The largest to be seen since the Unknown Region Campaigns and the heart of the Third Galactic Civil War. The Emperor leans forward, placing his forearm against the viewport as his eyes examined the drifting warships; Pellaeons, Imperials, Resurgents and a myriad of support craft. After a while, his eyes glance at the Praetorian Guards present, the silent champions and protectors of the Emperor's person. He turns to those present and waves at them, dismissing them all save one. The champion of them all. They did not argue, they did not retort, the others simply filed out and went to guard the doorway into the observation room. Nicademus looks at the undisputed champion among the Praetorians. You may remove your helmet and break your oath of silence, Xeonon. Nicademus desired to go over the plan of attack with his top-ranked commanders before the final hours of the operation's pre-launch time. Other members of Imperial High Command, both holo-image and present, stood upon the large bridge of the Assertor-class Dreadnought. Nicademus stood at one end of a holo-table, its image flickering slightly as it was set on an image of the fleet and the pre-arranged battlegroups. He brings her a message that the Emperor desired to speak with her on the main observation deck. The trooper escorted Faina to the location of the meeting. Nicademus was not entirely alone, for the silent Praetorians were within the room, but keeping a respectful distance with Nicademus. One of the guards turns to the Grandmaster before tapping his staff on the polished floor, twice. An indication for the Emperor to learn of the Grandmaster's arrival. Yet, Nicademus did not turn to look at Faina, his gaze ever present on the fleet over Taris.Do you remember when we were confined to the limits of the Deep Core, Faina?Faina was one of the few veterans who remembered the days of the Deep Core Remnant, the foundations of the present Empire. Aboard the First Order Venator-class Star Destroyer, the Jayanti, the crew and Lieutanent Colonel Nicolina Foresi, along with the battalion of Shadowtroopers she commands, known as the Emperor's Talons, all listen raptly and with immense pride to the Emperor's speech on the eve of the battle the great fleet in orbit has been gathered to fight. Nicolina, who in her younger days as a brand new Stormtrooper would have probably tried to appear unmoved or unaffected by the Emperor's speech in a misguided effort to seem disenchanted and cool, instead now finds herself shouting, "Ad Gloriam! Ad Victoriam!" with her fist held proudly in the air as she salutes along with her troops, spiritedly and with feeling. Accompanying Nicolina as, after listening to the Emperor's address to all that have been ordered to report to Taris, she goes about issuing orders to her Shadowtroopers, Faina compulsively clenches and unclenches her left fist, having become more used to the prosthetic arm than she had been initially but not yet able to rid herself of the unconscious need to periodically reassure herself that the mechanical arm and hand will respond just as efficiently and readily her lost limb would had it not been lost and replaced.
Having fought alongside Lieutenant Colonel Foresi for so long that the Emperor had, when elevating Faina to her present rank of Grandmaster of the Imperial Knights, assigned her quarters on High Port so that they could more easily coordinate their activities, Faina is glad that she and the Shadowtrooper commander will be fighting together again; having done so in other momentous battles in the past, it feels only right that they do once more.

Amidst the organized chaos of the meeting of upper level Imperial personnel stood a nondescript blond man who seemed to be looking everywhere at once. Having already been on the flagship he had been one of the first to arrive to the meeting and had proceeded to observe everyone who entered after, unflinchingly looking them up and down, and whenever possible directly into their eyes with his own blue ones. He was a black commander's uniform dating back to the old Deep Core Remnant. Despite being technically outranked by almost everyone present, including at least 3 of the Flagship's bridge crew, it seemed like most people were giving him an extra bubble of space. Ever since the recent removal of the interim part of his title there had been a much wider understanding of who he was and what his authority entailed, especially among the gathered officers. The calm man continued to observe, musing silently about the power he held, ultimately knowing that he was, at least to his belief, incapable of abusing that power. He had a duty and he would uphold it with the best of his ability and with all the powers granted him by the Emperor.
As he watched the growing crowd he began noticing various features for himself as well as connecting faces to files, making connections for himself. It was one thing to know facts about a person in the abstract, but everything always seemed to come together as a more complete picture when you met those people in person...

His brother, Field Marshal Baltasar Delvardus, and his trusted commander, Fleet Admiral Arcavius, stood to his left and right. The Praetorians present behind the Emperor on either flank as well. As he spoke with Harlan about the readiness of his ships, a stormtrooper approached him and whispered something in his ear. Nodding his head, he turned to speak with Harlan again, the lights of the bridge glinting off his highly polished rank denotation, and cylinders. He noted that a similar scene was playing out on the bridge of Harlan’s destroyer.I’m sorry to cut our discussion short, but the Emperor has requested my presence aboard his flagship. We can pick this up at a later time. Ad Victoriam. With that, he saluted before the communication was ended. Turning to face the stormtrooper, he spoke clearly and crisply, instructing him to prepare a shuttle to depart to the other, more massive warship. Straightening his nearly perfect collar, he turned and walked off the bridge, leaving his captain in charge for now. Walking through the ship with a small wing guard of novatroopers (he always hated having such attention drawn to him, but such was the price of rank and success), he passed by several men, all whom were prepared if a massive enemy fleet jumped into the system at this very moment. Pausing briefly by the Legiob of Merit to pay his respects to the fallen soldiers (he had made a habit of this), he moved on, not wanting to be late for his meeting. Entering the hangar, he could see that all the pilots were ready to move at a moments notice. And there it was. A single Lambda-Class Shuttle was primed and ready to take off at a moment’s notice. Stepping aboard the blizzard white starship, he sat down in the passenger bay. The shuttle immediately sealed up it’s boarding ramp and lifted off, dropping out of the bottom of the ship and heading for the Ad Gloriam. Garrick took this time to observe the fleet that was being assembled. There were around fourty Imperial-Class Star Destroyers, a decent number of support vessels. Then there was the Ad Gloriam, a sixteen kilometer long Assertor-Class Dreadnought that loomed over them like some sort of titan, it’s massive grey hull blocking out part of the sun. And there, in the base of the ship, was an indentation that contained the hangars of the ship. And that was where he was headed.
Passing by a battery of point defense cannons, the small shuttle entered the hangar. The white ship fitting in nicely with the rest of the greyscale ship, Garrick disembarked from the shuttle and was recieved by a small group of soldiers. They escorted him to the bridge of the ship, past more men working to prepare the ship for battle. A larger vessel, it did take longer to prepare than a simple Imperial-Class, so soldiers were still moving about. Stopping occaisionally to allow a small group to run by, he made his way up to the command bridge of the ship. He had been on one of these dreadnought’s bridges before, when he was asked to step in for a commander who had been injured the day before. He could honestly say it was, at least in the past, an enjoyable experience. Now, however, he would prefer to leave such work to commanders like Arcavius to lead such vessels into battle. Taking a moment to look out over the assembled fleet, he turned to face the table used for strategy. It currently had a diagram of several ships, along with some numbers and charts on the side of the screen. Striding across the obsidian-colored floor. He saluted to Emperor Delvardus and the Field Marshall.“Ad Victoriam, Emperor. That was quite a speech you gave... well done.”

Having received an update from both Admiral Needa and Rear Admiral Kasalle, the High Admiral was then approached by a bridge officer. The Emperor was summoning him to the Ad Gloriam. The titanic Assertor-Class Dreadnought dwarfed even the impressive Resurgent-Class Star Destroyers. Another marvel of the First Order's war machine. Harlan was, despite the machinations of a particular troublesome Sith, proud to be where he was. Even if he did owe a debt of gratitude to the aforementioned Sith, he was grateful to be serving in the First Order. Nodding to the officer, Harlan, flanked by the towering, black armored Death Troopers, made his way to the hangar bay where his personal shuttle was waiting. A well weathered Lambda-Class shuttle. Despite the upgrades, shiny new technology and massive warships, Harlan refused to have the shuttle scrapped. A memento of sorts, one could call it. Boarding the shuttle, it lifted off the deck moments later. Exiting the hangar, the shuttle glided silently towards the titanic vessel ahead. Upon reaching the hangar bay and setting down, Harlan and his guards, accompanied by an escort, made their way to the bridge where the Emperor was waiting. Despite the ship being so massive in scope, it didn't take long for the High Admiral, his guards and his escort to reach the bridge. Waving off his guards, he strode across the obsidian-colored floor, polished boots clicking with each step. Upon reaching the group already gathered, Harlan stepped forward and saluted the Emperor. Inclining his head at Needa, Arcavius and Baltasar, the High Admiral spoke.
"Gentlemen. A pleasure to see you all again." turning to address his Emperor. "Sir. All ships have reported in. Aside from any last minute preparations, the fleet stands ready."
Handing the Emperor the datapad he had been holding, containing the relevant, up-to-date information, the High Admiral steps back and allows his gaze to wander, momentarily, to the collection of ships outside. Having not been present for neither the Unknown Regions Campaigns or the Third Galactic Civil War, the sheer size of the fleet gathered here was awe-inspiring. A true testament to why the First Order was the top dog in the galaxy right now, though try as his Sith puppet master might to reach the same goal. His 'handler' as it were, lacked the same air of confidence and respect of his men. Regardless, that was unimportant. Right now, he was needed here and so, he returned his gaze to the Emperor.

Sometime after his talk with the Praetorian, Xeonon Solomon, a transmission is sent out to Harlan Petrovsky [Retired] , @ishild , Jenia Kasalle , and Garrick Needa . They were among the higher ranked fleet personnel present and were called to gather in the Emperor's flagship for a mandatory meeting involving strategy. His brother, Field Marshal Baltasar Delvardus, and his trusted commander, Fleet Admiral Arcavius, stood to his left and right. The Praetorians present behind the Emperor on either flank as well. Diligent, Kasalle gave Captain Thax command over the bridge in her absence in order to ensure that even within their absence the timeplan was kept - even if all ships were ready, it meant for the Imperials on board to remain more careful, while emphasizing Kasalle's command code. Entering once again her Lambda-Shuttle, as she was used to by routine, she ordered the pilot to head directly for the hangar of the Ad Gloriam, the flagship of the fleet. It was hard to overlook as one of the most major vessels within the fleet, dwarfing even an Imperial Star Destroyer. The Assertor-class Star Dreadnaught was an impressive sight, as it loomed within the middle of 39 other Star Destroyers, surrounding it like bees would surround her queen. To some sort a fitting image, as as after all Supreme Commander Nicademus Delvardus IV was indeed on board of a royal vessel, which would be protected with sheer ferocity from its fellow Imperial ships. When glancing over all the countless turbolaser banks and turrets of this massive leviathan, cloaked in grey, Jenia had no doubt that they would be successful within enemy territory, no matter what the enemy threw at them. As long as the Ad Gloriam was present, the Rear Admiral would always feel hope and pride, although she nontheless tried to surpress these feelings. Our men at Endor felt the same pride, when they had the honor of crushing the rebellion with one single blow - yet it resulted in our grandest defeat, known within galactic history - history musn't repeat itself!, she thought to herself once again, There is only pride in victory. And to ensure it, we have to achieve it first!"
Once more a shuttle entered the hangar bay, while Jenia watched others, whom the Emperor had requested along with her to the meeting, having exited their shuttles already. For the moment that was fine - as much as she kept to the schedule, it wouldn't change anything within the timeplan if she yelled at her pilot in order to land faster or if she simply trusted in his abilities and the fact, that this wasn't a race. The silverhaired Rear Admiral prefered the second option as usual.
With the shuttle having finally landed properly, Rear Admiral Kasalle left it quickly, while going with a fast step into the direction where roughly the bridge was located. Fixing her long hair during the walk and under the clicking sound of her boots, she entered several corridors, while passing legions of Imperial officers and Stormtroopers on her long way. Sometimes she wondered how certain admirals and moffs in Imperial history managed to keep their fat within their body while walking every day mile upon mile on Star Destroyers just to reach one station after another. Either they rarely left their bridges, being probably lazy commanders or their biology was just cruel when it came to their appearence, despite the walk training they had.
Eventually she arrived finally at some point on the bridge, entering the impressive room, where already another admiral stood in front of the Supreme Commander, eventually congratulating the Emperor's speech - a compliment on which she kinda had to agree on. The High Admiral was now present as well, being so far a familiar sight, even though she had already heard of Admiral Needa's services for the Braxant Empire. Yet her eyes were focused for brief moments on the Emperor himself, before she decided not to stare too much, while keeping it cool. Remember Jenia, this is a fleet operation, not the time to praise his magnificence, she told herself in mind once more, before finally arriving, having a cold expression as usual. Respectfully she lowered her head in presence of all the men next to her, as they were superior in rank, thus causing her also to keep her distance. As Rear Admiral she rather left the important talk to those in front of her, while answering solely when being asked. That's how the command chain always worked.

Clapping Nikulin on the back after telling WO1 Calenda, the Nagai Larty pilot that will be bringing her and the Grandmaster of the Imperial Knights from the Jayanti to the Ad Gloriam, to round up her crew and prep their LAAT/i for liftoff, Nicolina says, "Still not used to the arm, huh? having seen that her old friend still fidgets with the fingers of her cybernetic hand. C'mon," she adds, lifting her helmet onto her head and then motioning towards the LAAT Calenda and her crew are boarding along with the other twenty eight Shadowtroopers who will be riding in Calenda's Larty with them to the Assertor-class Star Destroyer that will be carrying them into battle, let's get on board before all the good standing spots are taken.
Once in the main cabin, Nicolina asks Nikulin, How've you been? The last time she and the Imperial Knight had worked together, planning and carrying out an operation that involved dealing with traitors in the ranks of the Imperial Knights, was not something she imagines either of them have any fond memories of, and Nicolina will be glad when it is even further behind them.
There is not much time for more conversation once the Larties that ferry her battalion, known as the Emperor's Talons, from the Jayanti to the Ad Gloriam have set down in the Assertor, a Stormtrooper coming up to Nikulin and informing her of a summons to meet with the Emperor on the observation deck. Say hi for me, Nicolina quips cheerfully with a wave as the Imperial Knight's Grandmaster is escorted away from the hangar bay to meet with Nicademus.
Moving over to where her company commanders are starting to gather, Nicolina has them get their Shadowtroopers moving for where they will be quartered or stationed, and then has the battalion's Larty pilots start their postflight checks.

His brother, Field Marshal Baltasar Delvardus, and his trusted commander, Fleet Admiral Arcavius, stood to his left and right. The Praetorians present behind the Emperor on either flank as well. Striding towards the holotable where those summoned to the strategy meeting called by Emperor Delvardus IV after taking a shuttle from her flagship to the Ad Gloriam, Ishild adjusts the sleeve cuffs of her grey double breasted First Order Naval tunic while taking note of those who have arrived before her. Though she has not met any of those present in person save for the Emperor, Ishild recognizes most of their faces from reports of their past actions.
Pale skinned, whippet thin, and possessed of an imperious air which perfectly compliments her regal features and bearing, Ishild, a blonde haired Shownarri, nods greetings to the others present only after she has come to attention and saluted Emperor Delvardus IV crisply. Her icy green eyes meet Piett's when he openly makes an appraisal of her, her expression an even and cool one as she nods to greet him after pointedly looking him up and down in turn. Ishild, like all those present, knows who Piett is, and of the powers that come with his position, but has nothing to fear from him, and therefore no need to flinch from his gaze.
Clasping her hands behind her back after moving nearer to the holotable to study what is currently displayed, Ishild waits for the briefing to begin.

Not possessed of the Lieutenant Colonel's desire to fill each and every silent moment with chatter, Faina had kept her replies to the questions about getting used to her prosthetic arm and how she has been since they last saw one another brief and to the point, a simple 'no' in the first instance and an equally terse 'busy' in the latter, Faina had batted the conversational ball back at her friend quickly, asking how she had been and what she had been up to for good measure, to avoid any efforts to delve deeper into her brief replies to the questions she had been asked.
Nearly, but not quite, smiling in amusement at the Lieutenant Colonel's parting comment about saying hello for her as she follows her Stormtrooper escort deeper into the Ad Gloriam, lifting a hand to bid the Shadowtrooper farewell for the time being. It was entirely unplanned, but those foundations proved vital to the future of Nicademus and his visions. Now look at where we are... Even though Nicademus addresses her by her name rather than her title, Faina finds herself wondering, as she often has before when in his presence on those occasions where circumstance has afforded them such opportunities to speak privately, whether she has been asked here to meet with her Emperor, or with the man behind the title. The presence of the eerily still and silent Praetorian Guards seems to suggest that it is more her Emperor than the man that she has been summoned to meet with despite the informality invited by his use of her name, and so Faina approaches only near enough to speak comfortably with him rather than into what the Praetorian Guards might consider too near for their comfort, her hands clasped behind her back and over her cloak so that they can see them clearly at all times.
"I remember," Faina replies with the faint suggestion of a smile when asked if she remembers how things were when she was first inducted into the Imperial Knights, fulfilling her parent's wishes and her own dreams, the question inviting a mixture of emotions given all that she has done and borne witness - for good and for ill - to as a result. Unable to think of those early days without thinking of Xeonon Solomon, who made her an Imperial Knight and had a hand in shaping who she has become, Faina furrows her brow when she seems, when thinking of him, to almost sense Xeonon's presence in the Force. Dismissing the moment as nothing more than a trick of memory, for so far as she knows Xeonon is dead and it is therefore impossible that she could feel his presence, Faina looks out at the view that appears to have captivated Nicademus, as though she might in so doing be able to see in the sight of the fleet that he has amassed whatever it is that he does while looking upon it.
"You have led us all here, to this day, Faina says after she and Nicadmeus have been silent in the wake of his truncated comment about reflecting on where they have come, and by extension what the First Order has accomplished, once more neither using his name or title so that she addresses him as both Emperor and a friend, or as near to such a thing as she and he can be given who and what they are to one another. And, Faina says, thinking of how, even when her personal faith and belief in her vocation was tested, it was her unshakable trust and belief in Nicademus and his vision for the First Order that kept her from losing either and ultimately strengthened them, it is you, your vision for the First Order, that we will all be fighting for today, and all the days in the future when you call upon us to fight so that your vision for the First Order is realized and endures the test of time."

A pilot came down from the cockpit.“We’ve arrived, sir.” Vermeil turned to face the man. He had a high pitched voice, extremely hard on the ears. He sneered under the helmet, still taller than the short-ish officer despite the fact that he was sitting down, staring at the man through the helmet of his crimson armor.“Shouldn’t you be flying the ship?” He spoke in a low, menacing tone, enough to get the pilot to scurry back to the cockpit. He turned to Harnan, waiting for some sort of verbal or non-verbal cue. Suspecting the battle was not far away, Harnan had spent much of the trip from Prakith to Taris sleeping. He only woke up as Vermeil dismissed the Pilot back up front. Harnan glanced out the massive viewport that encompassed the front of the ship, quickly locating their target. He pointed toward the Assertor-class DreadnoughtPark her right there...He lowered his hand then, allowing Vermeil a moment to relay the orders to the pilot, before he spoke again. Certain the Stormtrooper Captain was curious as to what was going onQuite the gathering... Remember that fracturing peace I mentioned? This is the hammer they’re about to use to smash the Alliance apart with...

"Yes, sir. Quite a hammer indeed." The command shuttle followed a number of other shuttles as they approached the massive dreadnought. Apparently, a large number of people had been summoned aboard the Ad Gloriam in preparation for the assault on Mon Cala. As the shuttle landed aboard, Vermeil removed the straps used to hold the occupants of the vessel in place if they experienced any solar winds or the like. Vermeil had been checking and double checking his weapons the entire trip. His blaster shined like a red star due to the sheer amount of timed he had cleaned it. Stepping off board, he turned to the armored giant that stood behind him. "I'm going to the stormtrooper barracks. I'll meet you on the bridge."
