Greetings Whills! I did this once before with Lianna, on another profile, I am coming to realize that the organization of Roon could be better. As it stands, without the faction subforum, it has five subforums in total and this can be compressed to three to save on space and look better. Perhaps it can be suggested that a "Roon's Major Locations", or something of that wording, could encompass the three threads (Nime, Nunurra and Fort Tawntoom) into one subforum. Alternatively, Tawntoom could be moved to Open Terrain Subforum and the other subforum, for the cities, could be called "Roon's Major Cities". The only additions I'd consider adding on, due to a request from Dragus, would be the Roon Sea. This seems to be significant feature considering it is where one would find Roonstones. Thoughts on this? Thanks, Xitan |

Greetings, Friend. This all seems reasonable. However, before I create a new location, I'd like some confirmation, either from you or Dragus, about actual plans to use the location, not just a theory that it could be used in the future. I recognize asking for a Roon Sea topic is tantamount to asking for another terrain topic, but in this instance it is because the terrain has been in use since last year for an RP we've been picking away at, and now that the RP is finally the terrain is already in use again for another, and we'd prefer not to post crisscrossing RPs if that makes sense as it doesn't flow very well on the boards.
The Roon Sea features in a lot of the wookieepedia literature for the planet so its been the focus of a few posts thus far and some planned stuff, but I've been using the Nime topic (cuz its a port city) for the ocean because the terrain topic has been in use, but I'm also not sure it makes much sense posting stuff about Koong Island on a topic for one of the planet's major cities. Well, you see what I'm getting at. We would like a touch more space.

Friends, I have gone ahead and moved the Fortress of Tawntoon thread under the Open Terrain board. Given the regular and established use you all have made of most of the existing threads on Roon, I've also gone ahead and taken a chance on creating a Roon Sea thread under the Open Terrain board. Don't let me down  I am reluctant to set a new precedent of collapsing both cities under a single board, so I have elected to leave Nime and Nunurra alone for the moment. It's better if we leave space for future threads to be added under one or both of those cities, such as a government building. Please let me know if you have any additional thoughts or ideas before I close this one out. ~Chilliam |
