Located on the same floor as the Mist Government's Legal Department, the office of Umgul's Master Architect, Elikapeka Hekekia, is dominated by the large open area filled with scaled physical models of Elikapeka's work from around the universe, inviting visitors or clients to view the many architectural styles her designs have made use of throughout her career. The space incorporates the rich, warm brown wood from Cambylictus trees from Hekekia's homeworld of Naboo contrasting with the simple, clean white ceiling and furnishings that give volume and solidity to the architectural models on display, and allows the colors in the decorative floral arrangements, which include Millaflowers and other plant life from her homeworld to stand out more. The space makes use of both overhead and natural lighting from the many windows in the walls and ceiling. A reception desk and small kitchenette area are both located on the wall that the entry doors are situated on so that they do not distract from the view greeting visitors and prospective or current clients.
Rooms situated off of the eastern and western walls of the open space, all open for clients and visitors to explore if they wish, include ares with layout space for full size drawing sets, flat file and rolled drawing storage, model making areas, many bookshelves made from Cambylictus wood for the storage of reference materials and sample catalogues of many varieties used to help clients wishing to make use of her interior and landscaping design services in the projects they have hired her to complete, and lateral files for the storage of documents. Located behind the large open area is the enclosed conference room where Elikapeka meets with her clients, dominated by a large holoprojection screen and featuring stone work fashioned from rock taken from the mountains of Naboo. The decor in the conference room is muted, to prevent any distraction, and the space is smaller than the large open welcoming and waiting area to encourage a more intimate feel conducive to working together with her client's to conceive of a design that fits their dreams or needs as well as possible. The final area of the office, not typically open to clients, is Elikapeka's personal design studio. A talented painter, Elika often first paints the designs she conceives for her clients before using the paintings to inform the scale or holographic models she uses when discussing projects with her clients. The space includes multiple easels for work on different projects, bookcases for reference materials or sample catalogues being used in her current design projects, and a private fresher and sleeping area for when the workaholic spends the occasional evening in her studio.

"I don't like it, Lucine says as she scowls and stalks around the large centrally located open area that is the predominant feature of her principle's office, ticking off the things she does not like as she walks around the perimeter of the space, Too many side rooms, too open, too hard to watch over everything and everyone coming and going."
Elikapeka, sitting on the edge of the reception desk against the wall facing the area where many scale models of her previous works are displayed prominently, smiles with a shrug as she says, "Sorry? Pointing at the many tall wooden beams around the open area, she suggests helpfully, You can just do your standing like a statue thing against one of the beams in the middle of the room? Besides, she adds, we're in the government headquarters, which has its own security, so I really think you're worrying about nothing."
Lucine, unimpressed with that argument, counters by reminding the geek, "That's what you said when we went to that one planet for that thing and wound up being attacked by that guy."
Elika bobbles her head as she recalls the incident in question and then smiles as she points out, "That was outside and offworld though, so it doesn't count. Plus we survived, and nothing has happened since then, so I stand by my assertion that you . . ."
Pointing upwards, Lucy reminds the architect, "Remember getting stuck up there?"
Crinkling her nose, Elika nods, then tries to counter that argument by pointing out, "That wasn't an attack though, so . . ."
Lucine rubs her left temple and cuts the architect off by saying, "Right, but my point was that you have had some really weird stuff happen to you."
Tilting her head to the side, Elika asks, "Was it though?"
Interrupting Elika and her lieutenant, Navya Chauhan, a thirty year old, three foot and four inch tall native of Chalacta with wavy dark brown hair, and light brown eyes that are almost a golden hue in most lighting raps on the wall beside the door leading into the office and smiles as she says, "Hello, I'm here to interview for the executive assistant position, walking over to Elika and holding her hand up as she introduces herself, I'm Navya Chauhan."
Hopping down from the desk, Elika smiles warmly as she shakes Navya's hand and says, "Elikapeka Hekekia, it's nice to meet you Navya, then purses her lips in thought as she considers where best to conduct the interview, holding up a finger as she decides to use the conference room and says, I'll be right back, I just need to get my datapad so I can take some notes during the interview," then, after starting to go to the conference room before remembering her backpack purse is in her studio, heads off to collect her datapad from her purse.
Nodding a greeting to Lucine, currently tapping away on a datapad of her own, Navya asks cheerfully, "Are you a friend of Miss Hekekia's?"
Lucine, amused by the idea of being pals with the geek she is tasked with protecting, snorts a laugh and taps the datapad against her thigh as she replies, "Nope. Bodyguard."
Tilting her head to the side, Navya asks curiously, "Why does an architect need a bodyguard?"
Lucine, scrolling through the information that has just been sent to her datapad, arches and eyebrow and replies enigmatically, "Get the job and you'll probably find out the first time you go offworld with her."
Navya smiles and confidently replies, "Oh, I'll get the job. Wait and see," waving as Elika, having found her datapad, motions for Navya to come with her to the conference room.
Lucine, finished reading the background check on Navya, puts the datapad into the side pocket of her flight jacket and grins as she says, "Right."
Emerging from the conference room a short time later, Navya tells Lucine with a triumphant smile, "Told you I'd get it. Looks like we're co-workers now!"
Lucine smiles sarcastically and lifts her hands up as she says, "Greeeeaaaat, another civvie to babysit, then mutters, I better get another raise for this."

Walking out of the turbolift that would lead them to the Master Architect’s office, Horsea was carrying a blood sampler kit along with her own portable encrypted datapad, she was shortly followed by Forcias.
The both of them were just clad in their military uniform, only the difference between both, Horsea had fully gloved hands, Forcias’ were fingerless.
Stopping at the threshold, Horsea noticed Lucine and the tree foot and four inch tall native from Chalacta, who she knew to be Navya, as Horsea had been notified previously about Lucine’s request for a background check, but that was not important to Horsea right now as she was sure that Lucine had all the information she needed.
“Lieutenant Lyn.” Greeted Horsea with a faint nod then looking at the Chlactan with a friendly smile this time. “Welcome to the Mist Government, I’m the Deputy Director of Intelligence, Horsea Aestrea, I was wondering if Miss Hekekia was available?” Andros had asked Horsea to go to Elika and not the other way around, which she very well understood, the reason why she was here now, as for Forcias, well he was the one who was going to set up the console for the retina scan to her private office.
Forcias who had mostly been silent and holding on some of the gadgets he had with him was actually analyzing the layout of the office and pursed his lips a few times, knowing his girlfriend this layout was not something she’d like a all which was why he had looked at her with pursed lips and was coming up with a solution in his mind actually.

Lucine, also in uniform while standing like a statue and looking as stoic as she always does when on the clock as she stands by one of the Cambylictus wood beams decoratively lining the walls of the large open space that greets visitors to the Master Architect's office, nods her chin up to silently greet Horsea, and has a very faint suggestion of a smile very briefly appear when she sees that Forcias is just behind his fellow Kiffar.
Navya, sitting on a tall stool behind the reception desk and dressed in a pink suit with a black blouse, smiles with a finely honed, subtle combination of professionalism and warmth as she replies to Horsea's welcome and question about where the architect can be found, "Thank you for the welcome, Deputy Director, then nods a greeting to Forcias. As she climbs down from the stool, the Chalactan says, Miss Hekekia is in, but I don't see you on her appointment list, so if you will wait here for a . . ."
Interrupting Navya, Lucine tells the diminutive executive assistant, "They're good, telling Horsea and Forcias as she motions towards the doors leading to the geek's personal studio, She's in the studio."
As Horsea and Forcias make their way to the studio, Navya holds her arms out to her sides as she asks Lucine in a mildly annoyed tone, "I thought your job was to be the bodyguard, not to do . . ."
Lucine arches an eyebrow, advising Navya in a dry tone, "Don't get your panties in a bunch. The Deputy Director is here on matters of security, which falls under my area of responsibility, giving me the authority to . . ."
Navya laughs as she get back onto her seat behind the reception desk, pointing at Lucine as she guesses, "You're just making that up as you go, aren't you? Next time let me do my job."
Lucine smirks as she replies curtly, "Right," leaving it up to the Chalactan to decide which part of what she said the single word refers to, if any of them at all
Looking up from the easel she had been staring at with one hand on her hip and a paintbrush in the other, Elika smiles when Horsea and Forcias enter the studio, having been expecting the former to come around sooner or later since Andros had let her know of his plans to arrange for the Kiffar to meet her so that her biometrics and other security related matters could be updated or instated, greeting them both, "Ah, hello, setting the paintbrush down on the easel's tray and wiping her hands on a cloth as she says, Andros said I could expect you to visit sooner or later. So, she pushes her spectacles up on her nose, using her thumb to keep her sleeve from riding up, what all do you need from me? Tugging her right sleeve down once and then her left sleeve twice, unaware she is making the compulsive gesture, Elika asks, Is it okay to do this here, frowning as she adds, or would the conference room be better? Not quite sure why she is feeling anxious, especially when Andros made the arrangement to have Horsea meet her here to avoid just that, Elika chuckles a bit nervously, joking, I promise I'm not anxious because I'm harboring any secret evil plans, I'm always this way, attempting a smile as she tells herself to just stop talking as she motions towards Forcias and goes right on talking despite her own advice, I'm sure my lieutenant has told you about that, right? The anxiousness? Crinkling her nose, Elika sounds puzzled as she wonders aloud, I'm not sure why I'm anxious, then takes a deep breath and smiles as she says, Sorry, then asks, Can we start over? Starting over without waiting to be given permission to do so, Elika sounds slightly less anxious as she smiles and says chipperly, Good morning! How can I . . . shaking her head since that doesn't seem like the right thing to say given that she knows why they are here, Elika tries again, settling for skipping ahead to the part where she just asks, What do you need from me to do the thing you're here to do?"

Horsea had slightly opened her mouth to say something but Lucine got there first which was why the DDI just closed her mouth and resumed to adopt that friendly but also collected posture of hers as she nodded towards Lucine to thank her.
Forcias who was still silent and just looking unimpressed, though he had inclined his head to the Chlactan previously still did not say a thing and just moved along with Horsea looking briefly at Lucy with a grin while giving her a playful wink.
“Hi there.” Horsea greeted her cordially but also jovially, again out of all the Kiffars in ranking, she was the most approachable and friendly one at first. Plus she was social, and she often had that predisposition to put a person at ease, at least she would try to put them at ease. Horsea could tell that Elika seemed anxious which was the reason why she just smiled in a way that showed she was not bothered at all.
Forcias who was looking around her studio to on purpose not actually have his gaze on the Architect, he had been told already that preferably avoid staring at Elika for too long, and not to make her uncomfortable, words from Mace a while back, and thus he was just looking around and smiling at what she had done with the place. But his attention did zero in on Elika when she mentioned that Lucine might have informed him about her anxiousness, Forcias smiled warmly, and in a friendly manner as he shook his head knowing that this might not reassure her maybe, but it’s true, Lucine did not share her principle’s comportment with him.
“Here is fine, Miss Hekekia, I also apologize for coming here unannounced, I should have asked Navya if you had an empty slot for this to be more prepared.” Looking apologetic indeed, it wasn’t that Lucine had informed Forcias that Elika could be anxious with people she wasn’t too close with, it was, in a sense, considering who Horsea was and what she did, along with her affinity to the Force, she knew. Just like Forcias.
“I will be taking a blood sample, just a digit prick, along with your fingerprints and retina scans so then we can all put that in the system and securely put a lock to this studio of yours so that only you can access it. And you just need to sit down, you don’t have to do anything.” Explained Horsea as she put the equipment on a flat surface before looking at the Architect. “I was also asked by Mace to congratulate you on her behalf, and she also apologizes for not seeing you yet, the Academy has many initiates.” Horsea was hoping that statement of hers could maybe get Elika to relax since after all from what she knew Elika knew Mace better right, and they were friends but while she waited, Horsea looked over her shoulder and noticed that Forcias was already installing the retina scan and biometric to the panel by the door that had been at least requested by the VG to be incorporated into the schematics.
“Five-eight, right?” Asked Forcias looking at both Elika and Horsea and doing a quick calculation in his mind before adjusting the height of the retina scan on the wall. Walking over to grad Horsea’s datapad, he started configurating the devices to see if they were functional at least.
Handing over the datapad again to Horsea, Forcias smiled at Elika just inclining his head and just took a step back and actually just stood outside of her studio so that his presence wouldn’t give her any more anxiety than she already felt . . .
“Thanks, Kes.” Said Horsea with a faint smile, at first she was supposed to be the only one to come here, but of course her friend that she considered like her brother asked if he could tag along . . .

Elikapeka smiles a bit too widely and unintentionally revealing her anxiety has not yet abated, shaking her head as she takes off her spectacles and tells Horsea, "Oh, no, it's okay, the no appointment thing, explaining as she cleans the lenses of her glasses with a handkerchief she takes from a pocket of her suit coat, Andros told me to expect you, so you didn't need an appointment really, continuing to clean her glasses after they are quite clean as she goes on, Thank you by the way, for coming here I mean, to do this, and then tells herself to stop talking as she goes on talking, I really appreciate this by the way," and, finally deciding her spectacles are clean enough, puts them back on and finally stops talking long enough to listen to Horsea explaining what it is she is going to be doing.
Nodding with a smile to let Forcias know he has guessed her height correctly, Elika waves after he has finished working, Horsea's mention of Mace's name having the desired effect and distracting her enough that her anxiety begins to fade ever so slightly as she tells Horsea, "Oh, let Mace know I understand, I'm sure we'll get a chance to catch up sooner or later, and then points to a table near one of her easels as she asks, Is there okay? Since Horsea asked her to sit, Elika decides to just sit, sitting at the table and using her thumbs to keep her sleeves from riding up as she holds her hands up and wiggles her fingers while asking, Fingerprints or blood sample first?"
Navya smiles and waves to Forcias as he emerges from Elika's studio, asking Lucine quietly, "Who is that?"
Lucy arches an eyebrow and says, "Mine."
Navya frowns theatrically, resting her chin in her hands, "Awww. . . Lucky you."
Lucy grins, looking over at Forcias and nodding as she tells Navya, "Right."

Horsea smiled warmly deciding to not argue about the no appointment or appointment for she didn’t want to spike up Elika’s anxiety levels than it already was. “We’ll call it even, Miss Hekekia, as I also appreciate you having me here.” For all she knew she had interrupted Elika, she was after all standing by the easel.
“Forcias for also another reason, of course.” Pointing back at him with her thumb with an amused grin that she knew Elika would get. Horsea inclined her head when Mace was mentioned before nodding in agreement to the location. “Here is wherever you are comfortable,” Horsea reassured her as again she truly did not want Elika to be uncomfortable, even though she was very well aware that the architect often was with people she did not know much.
“Fingerprints first, please.” Horsea pulled a chair to sit down next but not too close to Elika, and presented the fingerprints scanner right in front of her, placing it on the table, so that the architect could do it herself. “Thumb, index, and middle finger on both hands please.” When that was done, Horsea just asked for her hand to get the blood sample and purposely wrapped her own hand around her wrist to keep the sleeve in place while she pricked her finger to collect the blood sample.
Getting the read on it, Horsea grabbed a small patch and placed it on the area that she had just pricked, she slowly released her hold onto her wrist and looked at her spectacles. “This is going to be the last task from me to you. If you could wear these glasses please and keep your eyes wide open for a minute, we should be good.”
Forcias who had seen the Chalacta waving at him, inclined his head respectfully before looking at Lucine with a smirk on the corner of his lips for having actually heard that exchange explicitly.
If only I could just kiss you right now He told her privately

Lucine isn't exactly sure how communicating telepathically between a Force sensitive and a non-Force sensitive works, but has experienced what it is like from her end on the occasions that Forcias has used his gifts to communicate privately with her, and therefore isn't surprised when he does so now. As, in the past, all that was required of her to communicate with Forcias via his Force granted abilities was for her to think of the words or images comprising her reply, Lucy just thinks tonight, picturing a few things she would like to do with him other than kissing to compensate him for the fact that her being on duty means he will just have to wait, and hoping that whatever other flotsam floating around in her thoughts for him to pick up isn't too crazy to scare him off should he happen to catch anything other than her intended reply.
Lucine, in reality isn't too worried about what Forcias might find bobbing around in the currents of her thoughts; most of it at the moment probably having to do what he had shared with her about her principle's past and the way her association with the three houses that had played a role in it has, without Hekekia even knowing it, been not only renewed but strengthened since her relocation to Umgul. Lucine is not a big believer in FATE, but cannot deny that it is singularly remarkable that Hekekia would choose Umgul as her home and then find herself surrounded by friends in the Mist Order and Government that have ties to the three houses that, unbeknownst to Hekekia herself due to some kind of mental block having been placed over her memories concerning her past with the Lost Princess, which resulted in Hekekia suffering a mental breakdown when the Princess was killed, even though Hekekia believes due to the manipulation of her memories that the Lost Princess, who she may never have known was a Princess, committed suicide. What Forcias had shared with her has, naturally enough, changed the way Lucine looks at her principle, even though outwardly she doesn't let that show in her behavior as it is, fortunately or not, by and large dictated by her assigned task of being Hekekia's bodyguard; but Lucine cannot deny that where she once found Hekekia to be a bit of a neurotic, artsy fartsy, mamby pamby clueless civvie, she can now see other more flattering qualities in her principle that she had overlooked before knowing what she has been through which make her begrudgingly respect Hekekia more than she had before. Lucine shakes her head to try and focus on something else, thinking that she will never forgive Forcias for making her go through even more PERSONAL GROWTH than their relationship had already seen her going through before bringing her into the small, tightly knit circle of beings that know about the history of the Three Houses and the threat that may even now face their descendants or those close to them.
Tangled in with all of Lucine's thoughts about the Three Houses, of course, are the usual trivial bits of debris that clutter the surface of everyone's mind - like thoughts about what she will have for lunch, reminders to herself to resist the urge to make jokes about Navya's height even if they are meant to be amusing rather than offensive, why Forcias is so damn tidy about everything when she is a bit of a slob and now has to try and remember not to leave her dirty laundry or dishes piled up to deal with only when they reach critical mass, why Hekekia had to pick such an open design that makes it more difficult for her to watch over everything, envy about how bouncy and shiny Horsea's hair is or how pronounced her cheekbones are, and so on - which may make even a short dip into the shallow end of her mind an amusing experience for Forcias.
Elikapeka laughs when Horsea says that they can call it even, getting the feeling that they could go back and forth on that point all day if neither are willing to just accept the other's thanks, but still cannot keep herself from pointing out, "Well, you're doing me a favor, or maybe Andros since he asked you to, by coming here rather than having me go to you like everyone else, so I think I owe you really, smiling as, realizing she has just missed her chance to let the matter drop due to her tendency to babble when even slightly anxious, she says, If there's ever anything I can do to repay you, that, she quips, doesn't involve crowds or public speaking, you have to let me know, okay? Okay," she nods decisively as though the matter is settled, and then keeps a smile on her face as she handles the fingerprints herself with Horsea walking her through the process, the smile becoming a bit forced when Horsea holds her sleeve in place while collecting the blood sample as the gesture, politely as it is no doubt intended to be, makes her self conscious about her compulsive sleeve tugging and obsessive desire to keep the scars on her arms covered at all times.
After the retinal scan is completed Elika, unaware of the fact she has begun to tug her sleeves in her obsessive pattern given that she doesn't feel as anxious as she had when Horsea and Forcias had just arrived, smiles and asks Horsea, "Is that everything then? Or is there anything else you need to do? Psychological fitness exams, she laughs a bit too animatedly even though she is just trying to be funny, past political affiliations, or lists of my social and professional associates?"

Ever since that evening Forcias found out that accessing Lucine’s thoughts were easy to him, he just realized that he had not informed her just yet. He should probably do that when he gets the chance, but right now he was glad to be so attuned to her that he just knew what she was thinking, and it only worked with her, of course, as he was, again, not a mind reader.
Smirking at he kept his gaze on her, Forcias definitely could not tear his gaze, and he even chuckled silently to himself upon their difference in cleanliness but also particularly that part about Horsea. Something he might probably share with his Kiffar comrade . . .
Inwardly facepalming, Horsea should have known better than to wrap her hand around Elika’s wrist, and she should have probably let the architect prick herself to collect that blood sample. At first Horsea wanted to say something, apologize or something, but she figured she might make the matter worse so she decided to hold her tongue and just looked at her with a smile nodding.
“No, no I promise you, those questions won’t be coming up.” Said Horsea as she took the dapatad and synced it with the console that was now present outside of her studio. She figured she’d also inform Elika about this fact, not that it would change much since Andros had granted her access to his office floor. Now it was different in a way.
“As you know, the access to Andros’ floor is restricted to most if not all. You are one of the few in this building that can go up to his office without any appointments. Usually when a person presses that floor, they are required to present their fingerprints to the console when prompted.” Horsea explained as she showed off her index and middle, the rest was technical, and something that she didn’t need to bore Elika with.
“The retina scanner, and thumbprint has been logged in and that console will only answer to you of course.” Checking the encrypted datapad, Horsea validated everything and then looked at Elika once again. “Do you have any other questions for me, or anything you wish to know?” Horsea inquired politely, although she figured she'd probably leave the Architect be, so she could relax altogether. "I promise to keep in mind your offer, and will make sure that it does not involve any of those things you have mentioned."
If indeed there was nothing else further, Horsea along with Forcias took their leave after picking up after themselves.

Elikapeka swipes some imaginary sweat from her brow with a smile when Horsea tells her that there will not be any questions coming, and then tugs absently at her sleeves in a less anxious way than before as she listens to Horsea go on to explain more about the security measures she and Forcias have put into place now that her blood sample and fingerprints have been taken.
Pursing her lips in thought when asked if she has any other questions, Elika shakes her head after a moment when nothing comes to mind, telling Horsea with a smile, "No questions coming for you either, trying a joke to make up for her earlier probably all too noticeable anxiety which she trusts Horsea knows is not about her and simply something that Elika has very little control over, and then says, I hope so," referring to both Horsea's promise and the things she will be sure not to include in whatever she asks if she does call in that marker at some stage.
After walking Horsea and Forcias to the entrance of her office and saying her goodbyes and thank you's to both of them, Elika goes to Navya's desk and smiles as she asks the Chalactan, "What do I have on my agenda for the afternoon? Crinkling her nose, she smiles and confesses, I feel like I'm letting you spoil me already, I used to keep track of all my appointments myself."
Waving a hand to dismiss Elika's concerns about delegating things to her, Navya consults her datapad for the day's appointments as she tells Elika, "That is what I am here for, Miss Hekekia, to take care of those details so you can focus on your work. Finding the afternoon's agenda, she says, You have an appointment with a Mr. Moreau, oh, sorry, Dr. not Mr., about an island vacation home he wants you to renovate for him, followed later by an appointment with the Singh's about the villa they want you to design for them. Is there anything you need me to do to get ready for those appointments?"
Elika purses her lips in thought, then says, "Just make sure the conference room is ready, and that we have fresh caf and water set out, thank you."
Navya smiles and says in a playfully stern tone, "You don't need to thank me for everything, Miss Hekekia, then assures her, I will make sure everything is ready for you."
As Elika, after thanking Navya and then apologizing for doing so, is going back into her studio, Lucine can't resist telling the Chalactan, "You're better off just letting her thank you, trust me. It only makes her . . ."
Navya, climbing down from her seat to go and see if the conference room is tidy and clean for Elika's appointments, asks Lucy with an amused grin, "Aren't you supposed to be all quiet and stoic? I think your quiet needs some work."
"Right," Lucine replies, frowning as she realizes that maybe her quiet does need a little work after all since she has been chattier than usual lately, which she promptly places the blame for on Forcias and makes a mental note to emulate the VG more often going forward.
