Location Requests
The Star Wars Universe is vast and has innumerable worlds and interesting locations, not all of which are represented on JvS. In the case that you know of a location that is not on JvS that you believe we would benefit by adding, this is how members can request the Whills to do so. Such decisions are always based on interest and activity, so as to avoid an overabundance of unused threads on the board. However, if a particular location is of great interest to the community for whatever reason —whether new or archived— we may be willing to grant the request.
Complete the following request form, providing all relevant information:
After creating a general, planetary or temporary location request thread getting multiple separate members to post in the request thread showing support/interest will let the Whills know there is interest in the location beyond the initial requester.
Another way of showing interest in the creation of a location thread is to write a story using one of the other available threads with other members and provide a link to the activity to show a "need" for a new location thread. (i.e. Using an Open Terrain thread on a planet until a location request has been reviewed)

If requesting more than one location, each new location must be a separate request form. If multiple new locations are requested within the same form, your request may be delayed or ignored.

2. Link to Location: (If the location was archived please provide a link to the archived boards, otherwise indicate that it is new to JvS and link the planet or location board where it will be located)
3. Type of Location: Options are:
4. Location Layout: Here you need to provide the layout of how the new locations will be arranged. If the new location is to be added to an already existing board, include that as the master location as a reference point (include links) for us to follow.

6. Miscellaneous Information: Include any information that may be relevant to the requests above. This is especially important when requesting Planetary location or requesting Archived locations to be reactivated. Be sure to link any threads to RPs or Storylines being planned, and explain why a temporary location will not suit your needs.

- General - Permanent locations that are not planets (but may located on planets), faction Headquarters or governmental buildings.
- Planetary Government - On each Planet, a Government location can be created as a place where RP involving the governance of the world may take place. (i.e. governor's mansion, city hall, senate building, etc)
- Planet - Request a new planetary board or planetary location style board in the Universe board. Before requesting a planetary location board, make sure there is enough demand for the location being requested with completed request forms filled out. If possible, get others interested in the location to post in your request thread. This will let the Whills know there is interest in the location.
- Temporary - A location for a special event-style story. We ask that before you request a temporary location, you have some solid idea of what the story line will be (it doesn't have to be scripted, just have some basic plot or prompt to follow), and have at least three separate members on board planning to participate. The Journal of the Whills may provide similar benefits without the need to request the creation of locations.
- Unarchive - A location that exists on the site, but has been locked and archived by the Whills due to inactivity/lack of interest. Before requesting a planet/location be unarchived, make sure there is enough demand for the location being requested. If possible, get others interested in the location to post in your request thread with completed request forms filled out. This will let the Whills know there is interest in the location.
- If these categories do not fit the type of location you are requesting, describe the type of location as best as possible.

The Temple of the Ancient Order of the Whills was the home of the Whills, keepers of the Journal that contained all the events that transpired in the Universe. A gift shop that sells justifiably overpriced replica Kulu hats could be located to the right as people entered, which were totally not a rip-off and something whomever purchased one would treasure forever. Reality altering powers not included. Batteries sold separately.
