Midnight Seven - Lower hull
Grinning as her twin telepathically argues that the fact her life tends to be a complicatedly complicated one means that it is never boring, Kaiya telepathically informs her sister that, No, no your life could certainly never be classified as a boring one, could it? Moving on to more pressing matters, Kaiya answers Ellie's questions for her with a simple, I have no idea who the younglings are or who has them, vod, explaining, Jaime and his traveling companion stumbled onto the situation, contacted Ruubin for back up, and Ruubin brought us along with him and the Crimson Comman. . .
Losing the concentration required to maintain the connection with her twin when the Midnight Seven is hit by the torpedo fired by the hostile ship, Kaiya, who had been so focused on maintaining the telepathic connection with her sister that she has missed what has been happening while they were communicating, tunes back into the present in time to hear Ruubin asking about ways to avoid a crash landing, frowning and asking Hyatt, the Jedi seated closest to her, "What's going on?"
Hyatt, testing the safety harness securing him to his seat, sounds just as heartily cheerful as ever as he replies, "It sounds as though we're about to crash."
Vaayla, ever the portrait of tranquility and calm, nods as she says, "Unless, that is, anyone knows of a way to avoid doing so. Shrugging a shoulder, she adds, I, alas, do not know of such a way."
"Neither do I, Hyatt chimes in with a grin, asking Kaiya, Do you?"
Shaking her head, Kaiya admits, "I haven't a clue, and then turns to Master Grynt and asks, Anything?"
"Aside, the Mirialan healer quips dryly, from not getting hit by enemy fire in the first place, not really, no. Should we tell our pilot that, collectively, we have no suggestions?"
Reaching over to press the intercomm button, Hyatt helpfully informs Ruubin, "That's a negative on ways to avoid crash landings, Ruubin. So sorry."
Midnight Seven - Cockpit - Prior to torpedo launch
Honon, not particularly comforted by Ruubin's assertion that there are only two of him in the universe at present, mutters, "A little late for sorry, and then, when Ruubin asks about the gunship moving alongside the shuttle, frowns as he remembers that Ellie has just such a ship. Exchanging a look with his sister, who has closed her eyes to delve into the Force to see if she can sense Ellie from the gunship after having the same thought as her brother in regards to who might be aboard the gunship to explain its moving alongside of their ship, Honon asks Kateri, Ellie? and then after she has nodded, tells Ruubin, That's Ellie, explaining, Kaiya's twin sister. I'm not sure how in the Force it is that she wound up . . . "
Rocked by the impact of the torpedo that interrupted her brother, Kateri shakes her head and arches an eyebrow after Ruubin asks about tricks to avoid crash landings, replying, "Nothing comes to mind, and then clears her throat before suggesting sheepishly, Try to crash someplace . . . soft?"
Groaning and covering his face in his hands, Honon moans, "We're doomed."

*The sudden connection to her twin caught Ellie by surprise, enough so that she almost lost focus on what was in front of her. She didn't have time to question what happened when the sight torpedo screaming towards her ship brought her to action. Her hands moved with trained efficiency, as she diverted most of the shields to the front and activated the auto cannons. The cannons spun to life and locked on to the torpedo. Red blaster fire leaped out of the gunship to meet the incoming ordinance. With several quick busts, the cannons finally hit their target, albeit a little close for Ellie's comfort. The shields flashed from the detonation and the ship shudder, but remained unscathed.*
"So that's how we're going to play now, is it?!" *Ellie almost growled out. She brought her ship weapons only and brought the gunship to bear in the corvette. What the Gladiator lacked in speed, it more than made up for in firepower. With a firm squeeze of the trigger, the gunships main guns open fired on the corvette, peppering its shields and hull with heavy fire.*
*It was then that Ellie noticed how badly the assault ship was in. Worry began to fill Ellie as she watched the ship her twin was in begin to drift plantside.* Midnight Seven. This is Ellie Ordo of the Gladiator. I see extensive damage to your hull. How do you copy?

The consensus between the Jedi and even the Crimson Commandos was unanymous. It was all on him to find a way to land this junk heap without getting everyone killed. No pressure. And he wasn't exactly getting a vote of confidence either. The ship was descending, pulled more than anything by the planet's gravity, and trying to even turn the ship seemed painful and slow to respond. “As long as we're still breathing, something can be done.” said Ruubin, looking at Honon. “If the Force wills we die today, nothing we can do about that, but until then...have a little faith.”
He thought it odd that he would be trying to reassure the Jedi instead of the other way around, but the man was young, maybe more pragmatic than even Ruubin. His tone was reassuring, but how much the young man was willing to draw from the time-displaced Corellian, that remained to be seen.
When Ellie communicated, he responded quickly to the woman, shutting off the warning alarms in the process. His voice came across almost garbled and full of static, “Gladiator, almost all controls are non-responsive, thrusters are marginal...steering's almost gone, and we're burning entry now.” The landing was almost guaranteed to be fatal at the current decent, but if Ellie was willing to help, “Hey, I've got an idea, but it's going to need another ship, like yours, and a whole lot of skill, you up for trying it?”

"So things are bad, then." *Ellie said to herself when Ruubin gave the run down of the ships damage. They definitely needed help and it seemed that Ruubin had a plan. One Ellie figured was going to be risky.* If this plan is crazy or dangerous, then you have my attention.

Midnight Seven - Cockpit
Honon, nodding with a less than convinced expression as Ruubin concludes his motivational speech with the admonishment to have a bit of faith, says in a shaky attempt to find some humor in their predicament, "Alright, only a little though." Between his sister's mildly irritating ever-present air of calm no matter what is thrown their way and Ruubin's don't-give-up-yet attitude, Honon almost, but not quite, feels as though there is a chance that they really might survive what sounded like an impossible situation.
And then Ruubin says something about an idea of his involving Ellie's ship, to which Ellie replies that if the plan is mad or perilous she is all ears. If, Honon thinks to himself as he lowers his head into his hands once more, Ellie thinks the plan is bound to be a mad one, then it really must be a mad one indeed. "We're doo . . ."
"Faith," Kateri reminds her brother, as infuriatingly serene as ever.
"Alright, Honon moans, but only a little."

Ruubin gave a wry smile and jerked his head a little as he struggled to keep the ship from falling apart even as they entered atmosphere. He rerouted what power he could spare to vent the heat buil-up and maintain life support. He spared a glance at Honon, then nodded at Kateri, who at the least, was helping to keep her brother from losing it completely. Replying to Ellie, he said, “Buoyancy manuever. We keep open comms, and we have to hit the ventral thrusters at the exact same time, and you have to fly upside down in atmosphere, so you'll need to compensate for pull and descent while trying to keep my ship aloft. We make a ninety-degree landing approach.”
The ship shook and jostled violently, and if not for his restraining straps, he would have fallen out of his seat. Ruubin turned to look back, “Everyone hang on!”
Turning back to Ellie, he continued, “At fifteen hundred meters, you need to shear off, but provide one last cushion with your take-off thrusters, and I can make a rought, but survivable landing. I'm aiming the angle, we might end up crashing right through the doors of that stronghold down there. You with me on all this?”

Jaime gritted his teeth as the Emerald Star shook from the impact of the weapons fire from the cruiser. “Forward shields are almost down,” said Gina, “Another round like that and it's done for.”
“Then divert the bloody rear deflector shields to the front,” said Jaime with a growl, “you don't need me to tell you this!”
Coming about, he dove at an angle whilst aiming his turrets at the hostile ship and fired a continuous stream of bolts, whittling down their shields, bringing them to more or less the same situation. “Pouring power to the main engines, we're coming around for another volley.”
“Got it! Ready.”
Jaime yanked on the steering yoke, banking the freighter into a steep climb and then rounding on the cruiser once more, this time firing almost everything in his entire ship's arsenal, “One more exchange, and I'll have you in pieces. Give. Up. Now.”
To his and Gina's pleasant surprise, the ship powered down their weapons. Coordinating the surrender, he had the cruiser descending back to the ground, with him hovering directly overhead, ready to destroy the cruiser if they tried anything funny. Their shields were almost non-existent, and it would take time to recharge anyhow, so he expected no further trouble. As they descended, Jaime noticed his brother-in-law trying something that looked absolutely insane. “The blazes is he doing?”

*Ellie gave a wicked grin at Ruubin's plan. The plan was insane, and she enjoyed it.* Don't worry, I'm definitely with you on this. *She had to line her ship up perfectly. Luckily for everyone involved, Ellie had flown her vessel enough to know its quarks and how to adjust for them. The large gunship rolled belly up and carefully aligned under the other ships hull.* Ready when you are.

“Watch out for my ship.” said Ruubin, “You might know how to work yours and pull this off, but my ship's just this side of tearing itself apart.”
The strain in the pilot's voice was evident even in the static and feedback from his faulty commlink. Ruubin was barely keeping the shuttle from going to pieces as he said, he shunted more power to thrusters now that they were within atmosphere. Hopefully the Jedi could rely on their training, and the Commandos had their pressure sealed armour to protect them.
“Fire the first burst now.” He activated his own lift thrusters to push upwards.

Winking into realspace after exiting hyperspace, the Geheim Masjien, a YT-2400 light freighter, slows to ahead one third briefly as Dikeledi Balewa, the freighter's co-pilot, uses long range sensor readings to plot a flight path to the Pika Oasis that avoids any heavily trafficked areas that might draw unwanted attention to them.
Once she has plotted their course, Dikeledi gives Fumnanya Jang, the Geheim Masjien's captain and current pilot, a nod, which he answers with one of his own while increasing the freighter's speed and initiating a turn that will bring them onto the flight path that will take them to their destination outside of the Pika Oasis. . .

She rested her hand above the thruster throttle, waiting for the command. Once Ruubin gave the order, Ellie fired the first burst from her ships vertical thrusters. With any luck it would help stabilize the shuttle.*

Rising from the surface, the freighter listed lazily around the orbit. Dee maintained her breathing to keep her nerves at bay. AVI appeared in the holoviewer in front of her. Calculations ready. We should be arriving in three point four hours. She reached forward and put her hand on the switch. The Geheim Masjien vanished from realspace.

The hours passed by as Luxeria made the trip from Nal Hutta to Tatooine. It allowed her plenty of time to prepare for what was to come. Based on the knowledge she gained from Satele, she felt she had a good chance a beating the creatures. Already she was formulating her plans as she meditated. Not once did she leave the cockpit, choosing not to leave the Redjack and the ID10 alone, even with Umbra and Satele available to keep tabs on them.
Before she realized it. The alarm went off as it signifies that they were reaching their destination. Opening her eyes and coming to her senses, she took control once more of her ship and brought the it out of hyperspace. It wasn’t long before the brown planet began to grow in front of her eyes. "Such a desolate world. I can’t imagine why anyone would choose to live on such a world." Looking around and checking sensors she saw nothing around. It seemed as if none were around. She couldn’t blame them. Who in there right mind would want to take control of such a world? Surely there was no value in it.
As they grew closer, she began dwelling on her target once again, thinking on the knowledge she now possessed. An interesting thought brought a smirk to her face. "I wonder what everyone would think if I took down a Greater Krayt Dragon?"
::That may not be wise, Luxeria. They are very dangerous and something that size may be too much for someone even as powerful as you. Besides, they are extremely difficult to find. They swim beneath the sands of the Dune Sea. Chances of finding them would be rare.::
Luxeria gave thought to the idea and wasn’t a fan of wasting any more time than she had to. Still, it was worth a try to see if she could draw one out. "Alright. Let’s make a straight path for the Sand People Enclave. Let’s fly low though. I’ll see if I can draw one out on the way there. If not, maybe I can at least draw a Canyon Krayt closer."
Without another word, Luxeria pushed he craft forward to the sands below.

==Tank Goodness==
High above Tatooine, much higher than the current orbital traffic, hung the Agave-class Picket Ship, The Poltergeist. The ship was painted entirely pitch black and with all of her stealth systems running and minimum power being expended elsewhere, she would be extremely difficult to detect.
Captain Elden was relaxing in his quarters when the transmission from the surface was received. The First Mate had de-coded it on the bridge and sent it straight through to the Captain’s console in his quarters. There was an annoying tone that rang out, signalling that a message had been received from the bridge. Already sat at his desk, the Captain leaned over to the computer console and keyed in his password. The message, which started with a description that it was a burst transmission from the surface of Tatooine read:
Mission proceeding as planned, expected exfil time 5 hours.
Elden knew this had come from Vesh on the surface, he had already been briefed on this mission. The requested exfiltration time was at the very start of the expected window, not much time to waste. Quickly logging off of his console and jumping to his feet, Elden walked briskly out of his generous cabin. It was a short walk down a plain, dimly lit corridor to the bridge. The low lighting signalled to the crew they were running for maximum stealth. “Prepare the exfil transmission to the fleet, the ground team have made contact. They will need exfiltration in five hours, set the clock.”
Elden gave his order with the confidence that his years of experience had given him. He had commanded the Poltergeist since the pirates stole it from a service space station nearly two years ago. Before that he had served on many Bloodrage vessels dating back to just after their founding. The crew knew he had the personal backing of Arkan and so he had not had any challenges to his command of the vessel thus far. That could all change depending on this mission.
The bridge crew rushed around to look busy, even if most of them actually were busy. The communications officer was hurriedly typing away at his station to send the required message and monitor for the acceptance and any response from the rest of the fleet. The other area of intense bridge activity was at the stations monitoring the sensors. When running on full stealth the sensor team needed to fully utilise their passive sensors to try and detect any signs that the ship had been detected. Soon enough the sub-space transceiver despatched the mission critical message and then the crew began their 5 hour wait.

A Bes'uliik starfighter broke out of hyperspace on the edge of the Tatooine system, and paused for nearly ten minutes, scanning the system and the traffic entering and leaving planetary airspace. Apparently satisfied with the outcome, the pilot of the V-shaped Mandalorian craft eased her forward to join the handful of other craft in a thin, ragged line, descending toward Mos Espa Spaceport. The two women on board stared down as the surface came into view. Unlike most travelers arriving on Tatooine today, they were not dismissive or condescending in their assessment of the barely-civilized outpost. Compared to where they'd just been, Mos Espa was a paragon of civilization.

Powering down everything but the life support systems and basic maneuvering thrusters, the pilot of the YT-3000 class Corellian light freighter settled in to watch, and wait. Not only was the Golden Wolf masking her transponder signal, but the unmistakable white exterior had been repainted. The green and gold trim and the Jedi emblems were also gone, and the entire hull had been repainted a drab, earthy brown color which gave the ship an unfairly derelict feel. The Jedi Knight sat next to the comm, and settled into a deep meditation, prepared to wait days if necessary.

The Star Runner dropped out of hyperspace, drifting peacefully in orbit around the planet for a moment. Crystal viewed the navigational computers. The autopilot had brought her to Tatooine? Her face scrunched up in disgust. She'd hated the heat and sand on this planet the few times she'd come here. At least Darth Strife would never think to look for her here, leaving her to strike back when she was able to without interference. She moved the ship down to the planet, she would land in Mos Espa. That would be the perfect spot to set up camp.

*Darth Strife’s ship dropped out of hyperspace. After clearing landing with control, Adonias suited back up in his Mandalorian armor. He left his battered helmet in the cockpit. After sheathing his sword on his back, he clipped his lightsabers to his belt and did a few warm up stretches in anticipation of the coming fight between himself and Crystal. Without looking at the older man next to him he asked a question whilst cracking his gloved knuckles.*
“Are you ready for our debut, old man? I can’t wait to get this party started!”

Darth Strife:
A sneer crossed the sith's face. "I have been waiting for this moment for years. Your interference merely delayed the inevitable for a few weeks." The sith looked pointedly at Adonias. He centered himself in the force and reached out towards the planet below. The planet was sparsely populated but still busy enough that he couldn't quite sense where the girl was. He frowned, jet black hair falling into his face. He almost looked like an older brother to Adonias at this stage in his force healing. "Apprentice, you gave her your ship, didn't you? Do you have a way to track it?" He didn't want to waste time by manually checking for the girl. This was long overdue.
