Hello. I am looking to get my character's storyline off the ground and I'd like to gauge interest from Jedi Order writers on some ideas.
Darth Tacitus is a mastermind-type character who is looking to follow in Darth Traya's footsteps and has the secret goal of destroying the Force. To that end, he will, at some point in the near future, seek to establish a secret society of Force users called the Order of the Wardens.
I would like to do a little bit of foreshadowing of that, by starting with a holocron heist. In preparation for creating his secret society, Tacitus seeks to gather as much knowledge about the Force as possible and I was thinking of doing a holocron heist. He and a small strike team of elite troops would sneak into the Jedi temple archives and lift a bunch of random, nondescript holocrons. I'm not looking for anything specific, just anything regarding the nature of the Force, general knowledge, basically a plot device to get the character introduced to the rest of the galaxy and get him established as a mysterious antagonist with a hidden agenda.
The mission would emphasize stealth over violence, as Tacitus would be trying to avoid starting an unnecessary and unwinnable fight within the stronghold of the Jedi Order, so he would use subterfuge, disguises and/or technological means (slicers, etc) to get inside and then hopefully run into a Jedi or two and a confrontation would ensue, which would reveal a few hints about his philosophy and mindset.
What do you guys think? Does this sound like something you'd be interested in?

After discussing things with @mike, we've come up with an outline for this story. Tacitus would arrive on Corellia with a squad of his Wolfguards disguised as academy maintenance staff, probably on a non-descript freighter to avoid raising suspicions. The plan is to have him and his squad execute a very swift raid into the archives, where they would attempt to steal holocrons, but be stopped from doing so by one or more Jedi who happen to be there during the raid. Tacitus would then proceed to hold off the Jedi, while one of his soldiers slices into the archives to download as much data as they can, before making a quick getaway and as he's only looking for general information about the Force, he'd have obtained what he was looking for, in spite of being stopped from stealing the holocrons. During the confrontation, there would be an exchange where hints are dropped about his philosophy, as well as foreshadowing the establishment of his own organization of Force users, the Order of the Wardens. What do you guys think?
