HOLO FOOTAGE OF BROADCASTED SERMON <EXCERPT> The holocamera is aimed at a pulpit. A Man takes the stand to speak.
"I am Pitre, the first, called of God through Brother Eli." There was no trace of Pitre's gutter-accent from when he was homeless. "Months ago, Brother Eli found me and my fellows in the filth of the gutter and shared the grace and holy word of GOD with us. It has been transformative, to say the least. Since then, my 11 brothers and sister, have endeavored to share the holy word far and wide. God has opened many doors and touched many hearts. We Twelve Witnesses testify to the power and GLORY of the God-Emperor of Mankind."
Out of the holocamera's view, can be heard shouts of "AMEN!" "HALLELUJAH!" and "THE EMPEROR PROTECTS!"
...
"Come, Let us read from the Book of Eli."
v1 "I have returned from God's exile, a penitent man. Perhaps it shall be the greatest achievement of my life to have spent these last few years in meditation and contemplation on the 10 worlds and 5 moons; walking in the footsteps of the Holy One. How my lips shudder and heart quivers at his mighty name! I scarcely feel worthy to utter it. v2 Wo Wo Wo is me! If I were but a righteous man, I could speak with the tongues of angels and call this wicked galaxy to repentance! If All beings could fall down at the God-Emperor's feet and worship him; If All men would accept his power and grace; Then Xenos would fear and tremble, knowing their efforts to pollute mankind were in vain! v3 Wo is me! For I am but a humble servant, and Not mighty in speech. Flesh is my arm and God is not with me in my weakness. v4 But Holy, Holy are thy ways, oh Lord! Thou hast seen fit to bestow a portion of thy power and spirit upon me! To purge mine heart and mind of its unruliness, to Purify mine thoughts and teach me to walk a higher path! I shall not be cast off into the wilderness all my days, but I shall serve thee in the Temple of the Righteous. v5 And Lo, Alien, and Beast, and Man, and Jedi shall tremble at thy fury! Through Me shall they be chastened and scourged according to thy command, Oh Lord! With your power shall I work Mighty Miracles, and strengthen the Faith of the Believers. God Be with Me, Always, And Forever! Amen! ... v10 "The Emperor is the Father and God-protector of all humanity. He continues to work through us inquisitors. He imparts his power to us to carry out his will. Some heathens, or heretics call it the Force, but We know it is the power of GOD working miracles through us. We carry out his will: killing and disposing of the most evil heretics: the Jedi. We also act as the champions of humanity. We fight against aliens, Heathens, and other genetic filth that seek to pollute humans." ... v12 "Those that Fight against us will be damned, and those that fight with us shall be exalted on high!" ... v15 "Though you smite me with thine fierce anger, I shall praise you all my days. You shall be my song, and my guide. The righteous Man, thou wilt raise up from the valleys, and set them upon the mountains. The prideful alien you shall bring down to the bottom of the trenches and bury them in the depths of the sea. With fire will you purify your chosen. You shall be my comfort, and my strength, and the wicked shall know thy vengeance, saith the LORD. May I be a Light and tool in thy hand, to lead humanity to the promised land. AMEN!"
Pitre closed the Book of Eli.
"And all shall raise their voices together in a new hymn:
Music begins to play and words appear on the holo video so the viewer may sing along. A choir sings the following hymn:
"In Wrath and Ire He shall descend in fire! His return will astonish all; See! The New Republic falls! The Emperor of Mankind delights a holy mind, and dwells in the halls of all converted souls.
"The First Order we will build, with purity rife Every knee shall yield, and God will grant new Life. As he has commanded, we will all obey The rebel threat has ended, now dawns the new day!
"Farewell to the Jedi twi'lek, whom pollutes righteous men. Their temples we shall topple, their reign of wickedness will end. The galaxy will burn, oh bless his holy word! Holocaust is coming to scourge them by the sword!
"A new temple we will build, with purity rife Every knee shall yield, and God will grant new Life. As he has commanded, we will all obey The Jedi times have ended, now dawns the new day!
"Farewell to the days of lore, May the heathen fare far worse. Our God shall we adore, and His enemies we do curse. Our Lord shall us own, to claim what we have sown All the universe shall belong to him, and we shall sing this sacred hymn:
"A Holy Order we will build, with purity rife Every knee shall yield, and God will grant new Life. As he has commanded, we will all obey The unbelief has ended, now dawns the new day!
"The Emperor protects! What have we to fear? Bow low and genuflect water heaven with your tears The Drexl and Porg shall lie down together, and frolic in a bed of finely woven heather But Alien shall God's Drexl devour, and murder millions by the hour.
"A new Galaxy we will build, with purity rife Every knee shall yield, and God will grant new Life. As he has commanded, we must all obey The xeno creed is ended, now dawns the new day!" AAAAAAAAAAAAAAMEN!!!! AMEN! AAAAAAAAAAAAMEN! AMEN!!!

Engraved above the door of a prominent Muun Bank, in the Olde Muun language with a saying roughly translated as: "You can have our credits after you pry them from our cold dead hands." **************************
A well dressed business man entered the bank and approached the front desk.
"Welcome Sir! Do you have an appointment?"
"I do not." His narrow lips were drawn in a resting bitch-face.
"I am afraid we do business by appointment only."
"I have traveled from Onderon for a surprise audit of our client's holdings. It wouldn't be a surprise if I made an appointment." The concierge furiously was entering data in her datapad. "Now without further adieu, I would be interested in seeing the bank manager."
"Of Course, Right this way." The Muun stood and escorted the business man high into the towering structure of the bank.
High above Harnaian, in a corner office, the manager greeted the well dressed businessman. "Ah! Herr Goeddels! What an pleasant surprise! To what good fortune may I owe for your visit?" The manager seemed overly apologetic. "Please come in and make yourself at home!" He seemed uncomfortable by the sudden visit. "I am sure you must be tired from your journey. Can I get you anything? Any Beverage or tea to refresh your pallet? Let me call Selma-"
"Mister Chander." he interrupted, "That won't be necessary. Please have a seat." Goeddels motioned the manager to his own desk. "I am sure you are aware I work for a very powerful and influential client, and he appreciates timely service."
"Uh, yes. Of Course." Chander sat at his desk. "How may i be of assistance?"
"I am visiting officially on his behalf to inspect his assets. In addition, I will be performing an Audit on his account to make sure that everything; all of his properties, stocks, accounts, investments, finances, and records are in order." Goeddels watched Chander very closely. "And I would like to begin reviewing as soon as possible." It was difficult for the Muun to hide the discomfort on his face. Goeddels finished. "That's all."
"Yes yes. I'll punch up the records and receipts immediately, our clerks will be happy to assist you."
"I brought my own accountants, which reminds me, I need a work space cleared for them. Tables, chairs, data interfaces, records, etc."
"I'll make the necessary arrangements at once."

Xoia made her way through the halls, her pace casual and carefree. It had been quite a bit of work the past three years, her chances to truly relax and not think of anything but herself few and far between. It was certainly a change of pace she could enjoy, though she had to admit she was getting a bit restless. For almost two years she had spent her time behind the controls of her TIE/fo, establishing herself as Ofnir Five of the Noctis Deep Patrol Fleet. It had been a detail that she started out loathing, her skills and scores from the academy proving that she deserved the opportunity to choose her assignment as all others did. Yet, with time, she came to appreciate her post and took pride in it. But she still never stopped working to try and improve her skills whenever possible.
But it wasn't long until a discovery was made about her, one that she didn't even realize: she possessed the ability to use the Force. It was this gift that had allowed her to hold the incredible instincts and reflexes she did, all of which existed in a dormant state. With this revelation, she was granted the opportunity to train with either the Knights of Ren or the Imperial Knights to further her skills in the Force. With the desire to be the best she could, she took her leave from the patrol fleet she had called home and returned to Muunilinst to begin her training with the Imperial Knights. It was the location of her home so it made sense to come here. For a little over a year, she had dedicated herself to her training, growing in strength and learning to hone her ability to heighten her senses and reflexes further. They had also taught her to fight on the ground and how to lead, something her greater intellect easily accommodated.
However, she had to make it clear that she didn't wish to join the Imperial Knights as they were hoping to groom her. She wished to only further her skills and capabilities before returning to her place as a pilot of the First Order. That was where her heart truly lived and she knew there was no other life she wished to live.
As she walked, her peace was soon disrupted by the irritated tones of her father coming up behind her.
"Don't you have something better to be doing than just walking about? He moved up beside her as she turned to face him, his eyes looking down at her in a condescending glare. "I would say you've been wasting enough time that could have been well spent trying to rectify your shortcomings in that sad excuse of a patrol fleet to which you were assigned. Was a year screwing around with those imbecilic Imperial Knights not enough? How do you ever expect to amount to anything if you simply goof off? Remember that you are a Reyes and have a name to live up to. I will not tolerate failure in this family and if you can't get your head on straight and start living up to our legacy, then you will be removed from it. Do I make myself clear?"
Xoia's breath grew heavy though she did all she could to hold it in. Even now she dared not stand against her father. After all she had experienced and learned, her spirit still felt bound by this man and the "legacy" he claimed their name held. For the longest time, she felt obligated to reach that measure of honor and respect he spoke of, seeking to be the daughter he hoped she would be. But since her time with the Noctis Patrol Fleet, she began to realize it was nothing more than a burden he placed upon her, not a choice she was making for herself. His feelings on the matter only increased when he found out that she was training with the Knights. He had always thought little of the Force groups within the First Order, thinking them beneath men like him and those that truly served the order. He felt they were always plotting to stab the order in the back and her being trained made her suspicious of the same deceit.
Taking a deep breath, she merely nodded with her sole response. "Yes, father. Crystal clear."
"Good. Now I have to leave for a few days for a meeting. In that time, do try to make proper use of your downtime to do something worthwhile. Without so much as a second glance, he moved past her and eventually disappeared from sight.
Clenching her fists tightly, her green eyes burned into the man's back as he walked, everything about him frustrating her. It took several minutes after he was gone for her to calm down enough to press on herself, returning to her chambers so as to not run the risk of running into him again before his departure.

The door to Xoia's room slid open as she reached it, her movements swift and aided by the Force in her desire to disappear from the sight of others. The moment she crossed the threshold and the door shut behind her, her back fell against it as quick, heavy breaths escaped her lips. The anger and frustration seethed from her being at the words and expectations of her father, a man that should have supported her and built her up instead to only constantly cut her down because she didn't live up to his standards. She had been free from it for that time with the patrol fleet, forgetting it was even a thing as everyone around her looked at her for who she was and not as the daughter of Juane Reyes.
Minutes passed by as she worked to calm her nerves, a task that she wasn't fully prepared for. Even in her time away from the Imperial Knights, she had rarely interacted with her father up until this point, his distaste for her choices most likely keeping him at arm's length. But she didn't care. She had chosen this path for herself, a path that would only ever improve herself with time and dedication. If only she had the strength to tell him that. Maybe she couldn't because somewhere, deep inside, part of her believed it. She didn't want to believe it, but perhaps there was something inside her heart that felt she still needed him, his approval, and the legacy of a name.
Shaking her head, she pushed her way from the door to her closet. Removing two cases from it, she then moved to the bed where she set them down and opened them one at a time. The first was her SE-44C Blaster Pistol, a weapon given to all pilots as a means to protect themselves in the chance of an ejection or survivable crash to be recovered. Many o the First Order officers carried them as well. It was a solid go-to weapon for any with the empire. She picked it up, removing it from the holster it rested it and took aim with it. She had been working further on her skills with it, especially during the times she was being taught combat skills with the Imperial Knights. As a ground combatant or a leader, she had to be fully capable of taking care of herself.
Setting it back in the holster and case, she then looked to the second. Within rested her lightsaber. She had trained to utilize the standard lightsaber hilts of the Imperial Knights and was set to receive her own. However, she had made it clear that she wasn't joining the Knights, despite her gratitude for the training and sought to return to her service once her training had been completed. This reality did bring her training to an end much sooner than anticipated, but not before they helped her gain the pieces and knowledge to create her own weapon that represented her and her alone. Igniting it, a brilliant orange blade emerged and thrummed with the usual sound. She moved it about, getting a feel for its weight and movement as it worked to further distract her mind.
Nearly an hour had gone by as Xoia worked with her saber, going through the training routines she learned as a means to focus her thoughts and alleviate her irritation. That focus, however, was disrupted by the sounds of an incoming message. Taking a breath, she deactivated her saber and accepted the call. On her holoscreen, one of the Vice Admirals that worked with Imperial High Command. The moment she recognized who stood on the other end of the screen, Xoia snapped to attention and gave him a salute. "Vice Admiral. To what do I owe the pleasure of your call? My father has already departed for a meeting."
Giving a quick salute of his own, he motioned for her to be at ease.
"I'm aware of his current meeting. I'm actually here to speak to you, Lieutenant. I've been informed that your training with the Imperial Knights came to an end some time ago. Now that you had some downtime to get some R & R, I believe it is time to discuss the next step for you in your next assignment within the First Order."
As the words came, Xoia took in a slow, deep breath, trying to avoid appearing as if she was or making a sound. Releasing it she gave a nod. "I look forward to getting back into the pilot seat. Getting a chance to relax is nice, but I'll admit I'm getting a little restless.
The Vice Admiral nodded with a smile.
"I'm pleased to hear that. It so happens we have a new assignment for you. However, this assignment will require further discussion regarding the details. As such, you are to report to Imperial High Command on Coruscant immediately. There is a Lambda-class Shuttle awaiting your arrival at the Imperial Strategic Command there. Once you arrive, head for the Star Fleet Command."
Giving another salute, she confirmed her orders. "Understood. I will leave immediately." Returning a salute, the scene went black as the call ended. It was finally time to return to the field, something she was eager to do for more reasons than one. Gathering up a few things, she quickly departed her home and called for transport to take her to the Imperial Strategic Command.

The days passed on as Xoia prepared herself for the week's end. As Captain of this new crew, she'd needed to be as familiar with everyone and everything regarding it as possible. That was what a good leader was about: truly knowing those that served under her and the equipment they utilized. If she didn't at least have solid knowledge on any of it, it would be easy to let things fall through the cracks and show her inability to a leader. She wanted to be the leader that people respected and looked up to, not feared and loathed. She also wanted to be recognized for her command by those that outranked her, to ensure they felt they could trust and count on her when she was called upon.
It was a tough task to absorb so much knowledge, but she dedicated herself to it, spending every moment that wasn't used to pack or deal with daily tasks. She familiarized herself with the Valahia and its systems the best she could wrap her head around it. There was a lot she was able to grasp due to the similar functions on starfighters, but some still went beyond her understanding. That would be something she'd have to learn from the engineers in her free time. As for the starfighters, she gave them a quick glance over, her knowledge on them pretty solid due to her passions. The biggest job was learning about the crew, the troopers, and her squad. With everyone, there were around one-hundred people or so. The files made note of the most distinguished and who was serving as specific officers for each area, including who would take charge of the ship when the squad was out. Then there came the three other members of her squad. Each of them had undergone training similar to hers and all of them chose to stick with the First Order. Each of them had incredible records, signifying why they were chosen for this detail. She drilled their names and files into her mind. They may be where she started in best knowing her team, but it wouldn't be where it stopped.
As the week reached its end, Xoia grabbed the last of her things, as the transport had been loaded and ready to go. Her father had been gone the entire time, making things smooth and quiet. She had been fortunate and hoped that she'd be gone before his return, but luck didn't favor her that well. Entering into the main hall, her father stepped through the doorway. Seeing her there with her pack, he stared intensely before speaking.
"Where is it that you are going, young lady?"
Coiming to a stop, she dropped her head with an irritated sigh, though she tried to keep it as contained as possible. Taking a breath, her gaze returned to him. "You wished for me to make use of my downtime. I have and I am heading off to my new detail."
Juane raised an eyebrow as she spoke of her new detail.
"Are you now? Well, it about time. I imagine you're being assigned to another patrol fleet? I guess its something. After all, you have a lot of work to make up for your goofing off with the Imperial Knights. In that case, you better get moving. Don't need to make anyone wait on you any more than they have." Returning his attention to the datapad in his hand, he began to walk past her, not even giving her a second glance.
She stayed silent as he walked, inwardly scoffing at how quickly he assumed what her assignment was. In the end, she should have just moved on, but she couldn't do that anymore. After everything she had been told by the Vice-Admiral, she couldn't allow herself to be belittled by this man. It was time for her to take her stand and put him in his place. "Of course you would assume so little of me." She turned to look at him just as he stopped, though she kept speaking in order to keep him silent. "So you are aware, I have been promoted to the rank of Captain. Not Flight Captain, but Captain. That's the same rank as you, father. I have been given my own command. It may not be a small fleet like you lead, but it is just as important. I have been given command of a ship and am the leader of the new Razgriz Squadron, a covert and special operations task force. I have access to the best starfighters, crew members, and stormtroopers the First Order has to offer. So tell me again how I've been assigned to such an insignificant patrol fleet." Her green eyes focused hard on him, waiting for a response.
Juane's eyes went wide with her first statement, a sense of shock coming over him that she would talk to him in such a way. But he never got the chance to speak up as she went on, informing him of just what she was embarking off to do. As she went on, his eyes settled. When she finished, he was silent for a moment before he gave a faint scoff.
"A Captain now, are you? Well, it's about time those imbeciles in High Command recognize who you are. To think that they took this long to ensure a Reyes received the recognition they deserve. And to put you in such a command, they must have truly realized their faults."
Xoia's fists tightened as he spoke. She expected as much from him, but it no less infuriated her. He didn't acknowledge her achievement properly but dismissed it as something that High Command failed to give her upon graduation like she deserved to have, all because of her name. To think this promotion and assignment was nothing more than High Command making up for some kind failure regarding her, and by extension him in his mind made it all the more sickening. "Let's get one thing straight. The only meaning this name has is that of an overinflated ego. You may possess the silver tongue and can influence those below you, but that doesn't mean you are more than any of them. And that ego is going to bring this entire 'legacy' down around you. This promotion, this assignment has nothing to do with you or with my name. It was given to me by my actions, skills, and dedication. Nothing more and nothing less. I don't need a name to keep moving forward. I won't be bound to it or your legacy. I don't need it and I don't need you." Her lips turned upwards in a small smirk as she turned from him, his eyes once again wide with shock that she was speaking out against him. It came as such a surprise that he couldn't even speak as she walked out the front door. Loading up the last of her things, she made her way from her childhood home, a place she would no longer return to and headed for the shuttle that awaited her at Imperial Strategic Command.

Brother Eli watched the news broadcast recording. Two human newcasters puzzled over the resurgence in belief in the God-Emperor on Muunilist. They were distressed by the violence. They were uncertain of the beliefs.
Then.
They were visited by a Xeno; an abomination that uttered blasphemies.
This shall not stand. It COULD NOT be allowed to stand. A Heathen, a filthy XENO, passing judgment on the GOD-EMPEROR of all MANKIND?? Brother Eli stood up and lifted his hand, pointing to the holovideo of Zin Zanse “God hath weighed thee and found thee wanting.” As a Confessor in the inquisition, he had authority to stand as a judge and pass summary judgment on those that expressed heretical or blasphemous views in his presence. Or grant complete absolution. Though as history proved, mercy was not a virtue of the Imperial Faith...
And Karen, a human that apparently was a Xeno-lover... She must confess her sins and perform penitence if she wishes to rid herself of this grave heresy...

The prosecutor read the police reports and drafted a list of charges:- First Degree Muunicide, aggravated by racial or religious animus.
- First Degree Homocide, aggravated by racial or religious animus.
- Two counts of obstruction of justice, by impairing or altering a public safety detection data device or recording.
- Two counts of felony vandalism of an inhabited building's data collection device or recording.
- Two counts possession of restricted imperial munitions or types.
- Two counts of attempted aggravated burglary, robbery or alternatively, completed criminal trespass.
It was disturbing to have these reports indicating a competent organized killer was on the loose. He would have to consult with the chief prosecutor to see if protocol required the public to be warned.

The speeder carrying Havok arrived at the skyhook. Already, the skyhook had shut its doors to travelers. Citizens that were now unable to enter were beginning to congregate outside due to the temporary closing. Havok stepped from the speeder into the plaza as a gentle rain began to fall. The rain induced most of the delayed travelers to seek shelter in the nearby buildings of the plaza while they waited for the "unscheduled safety check" of the Skyhook to run its course.
Havok walked to the base of a statute in the plaza and sat on a bench at the base, in the shadow of the monument. He chose it deliberately: It was a large bust of Emperor Palpatine.
Havok wrapped his burial shroud around himself tightly against the gradually increasing rain storm and sat waiting. He uttered an incantation to fortify his concentration for the powers which he was about to employ.
Although Brother Eli was covering his presence in the force, Havok heard the Inquisitor approaching and arrive in the plaza in front of the entrance to the Skyhook. The religious fanatic was singing a hymn. "... in the arms of his waiting angels. None can impede us, none can deflect us..." He continued to sing while he waited in the street by the entrance to the plaza.
Brother Eli was soon joined by a group of twelve shorter individuals. Together the inquisitor and the twelve vagabond apostles approached the entrance to the skyhook and walked past the monument where Havok sat.
Standing seven feet tall and towering over the others, Brother Eli could not be missed. In the past four months, Brother Eli had grown a bushy beard. It was white like the rest of his attire. He wore a white trenchcoat and wide-brim preacher's hat. On his shoulder, he carried a dark metal preachers cube measuring a meter on all sides.
Havok watched as his vision became a reality:
Brother Eli stood in his white coat and hat with the rain pouring down; his preacher's cube over one shoulder. "Today, my sons, TODAY, you shall begin to spread the work of GOD to the galaxy. We will save the empire from its unbelief and rescue the lambs from doubt and uncertainty. All will know the power of the God-Emperor of All Mankind and shall love him!" The twelve raised their hands. "THE EMPEROR PROTECTS!" "AMEN!" Brother Eli answered. "Now go forth!"

With the coming days, First Order Stormtroopers of the 187th Legion and ComSar Guards will be seen more actively on the streets, as troop transporters screen the city for eventual problematic zones within the complex. Although they do not disturb any sermons, several Imperial zealots, who were witnessed committing crimes against local citizens were arrested swiftly and brought to justice depending on the weight of the crime.
Furthermore, imperial slave holders were arrested and transported immidiately to the High Command complex in order to face the Imperial justice. With slavery being outlawed by the law of the Emperor and the Grand Moff reinforcing the law, large sums of credits were paid, while former slaves were freed and either immidiately sent to the recruitment centers or left with a small sum of credits with which they could afford themselves either a living and a job or leave the system with a spaceship. Rumor has it that few of the buisenesses were owned by the Kasalle Company themselves, bringing the Grand Moff into conflict with her own family for she would charge the Baron himself, her own father, with the payment of several million credits for violating Imperial Law within the oversector alongside the immidiate freedom of his workslaves. Though conservative circles within the Imperial military would judge this step as betrayal upon the own family, the majority of citizens respects the Grand Moff's fair judgement on the elitist circle in order for them to comply with Imperial laws, as she seems to value her loyality towards the First Order and its cause over family matters.

Brother Eli started forward to the skyhook doors, following behind the Vagabonds. "Inquisitor!" A shout came from behind him. The Vagabonds continued forward to the entrance, but the Inquisitor Confessor stopped abruptly and turned towards the voice.
A dark figure stood in the shadow of the Imperial statue in the Plaza. The figure spoke again. "Yes, Inquisitor Eli- I thought it was you. A blessing!"
The Confessor peered through the light rain and mist rising off the duracrete plaza. The figure was wrapped in a black shroud and hood. "A blessing upon you, brother, in the God-Emperor's name."
"No, you misunderstand. I come to bless you in the Emperor's name." was the reply.
"Do I know you, Brother? Pray explain yourself." It was not lost on Eli that this figure did not refer to the god-emperor, but merely used the more ambiguous 'emperor.'
The twelve vagabonds reached the entrance of the Skyhook. The doors were locked shut, and Transportation Security troopers stood just inside the entrance alcove looking out at the vagabonds. The troopers pointed to a scrolling information ticker: "Skyhook closed temporarily for an unscheduled safety inspection. Service will resume shortly." Pitre, the formost of the vagabonds, turned. "Brother Eli! The Skyhook is temporarily closed for an inspection!"
A feeling of unease rose in Eli's chest and he crossed his arms, carefully regarding the figure before him. He could feel the weight of his own .75 slugthrower slung under his white trenchcoat. "Patience Pitre!" He called out over his shoulder to the vagabonds. He looked back to the dark figure. "I have a feeling this is your doing."
The cloaked figure gave a silent nod.
"Perhaps you should show your face and explain why you are impeding the work of the Inquisition."

The figure pulled back on the hood revealing long black hair flowing around a hawkish face and piercing eyes. The man raised his left hand, palm facing out to Brother Eli. His black shroud rustled in an unseen wind.
The Inquisitor Confessor narrowed his blue eyes and peered out from under his preacher's hat. Rain dripped from the brim as he cocked his head. The confessor's face twisted into a scowl as he recognized the man before him. "YOU!" He reached for his weapon. "The prophet's apprentice." Brother Eli ground his teeth. "Father Nobra's... traitorous... apprentice." He haltingly repeated as he raised the slug thrower from under his coat. "Havok!"
"Death comes for those that defy the Emperor." Havok remained still, his hand out, his palm facing the inquisitor and his company, as if to stop them. "... Or refuse the blessing of his mercy."
The Vagabonds murmured among themselves behind Eli, before spreading out in an arc to face the man who Brother Eli labeled a traitor. "Traitors must die." "Death to the false apprentice!" Several pulled out blasters and pointed them at Havok.
"I see through your deception, Havok. You have frustrated the grand designs of God for too long." Eli spoke while staring Havok down the barrel of his Inquisitor's .75 slug thrower. "You promised the counsel that God spoke to you in visions and dreams. That they would lead us all to the Eye of Palpatine. Well, where is it Seer? WHERE IS IT, DREAD SEER HAVOK?!" Havok's prior titles sounded clumsy on Eli's tongue.
"I found the Eye." Havok's voice was calm and self-assured.
The inquisitor growled. "Your lies destroyed the Counsel of the Eye!" Eli was nearly in a rage and his followers were feeding off of it, working themselves into a frenzy. "And now you blaspheme and threaten the Inquisition!" The ammo-feeding mechanism on Eli's slug thrower whirred to life. "Let us kill him!" "Just give the word, Brother!" The vagabonds grew more insistent.
"Now, I come in the Emperor's name, to grant a blessing." Havok spoke, standing as still as the elevated statute of Palpatine behind him. "Lies!" The Inquisitor Confessor reviled him. "I am God's messenger bearing the sacred token, and the Inquisition's only hope." Havok's eyes darted up to the tips of the towering buildings surrounding the plaza and he raised is right arm to the sky through the rain.
"LIES!!" He shouted. Brother Eli was nearly stunned by the sheer unmitigated gall of the apostate in front of him. Father Nobra had raised up that traitor and Havok's false visions nearly destroyed hope in Palpatine's enduring legacy. Now, the prophet's apprentice stood claiming to speak for god, hand raised, looking to the heavens as if through the power of god he was about to call down divine fire to burn a horde of xeno heathens. Brother Eli chambered a round.
Over the vagabonds' clamor for violence, Havok spoke yet again. "I will grant you a sign. Behold! God has forsaken you and delivered you into my hands."

Havok's encrypted comlink crackled to life. "Alpha Squad reporting in." "On his mark."
"By the power--!" Brother Eli angrily began to pronounce a curse upon Havok.
With his left arm still outstretched, Havok gave the signal and dropped his right arm. "Send it." The unseen forces executed the command.
"--Of God!" Eli was prevented from finishing. Instantly, the head of the female vagabond disintegrated into a scarlet cloud, as the sound of a slugthrower sniper sabot impacted on the duracrete with a loud 'CRACK!' behind her.
The decapitated body hit the ground and the remaining Vagabonds bristled and angrily demanded permission to attack. "Brothers! Sister Philius!"
Brother Eli did not move, his unblinking eyes glued to the threat in front of him. A moment earlier, Eli felt absolutely certain of the righteousness of his cause, and just as certain that he would prevail. But now, he felt a wave of dread, as if he was afraid to stand tall in the presence of god. What if Havok spoke truth? What if he had a holy token? Such a token, or Sacris Firmitatis Indicium, granted a messenger the blessing and protection of the God-Emperor. Who can withstand the power of god? It was as if the whole world was turning upside down. Up was down and right was left.
"Hold your fire." Brother Eli suspected the plaza was now a kill zone. Though he wanted nothing more than to pull his trigger, the seed of doubt was sown. "Why Brother!?" Pitre's voice cracked with emotion. "Because-"
One of the vagabonds, Jamesohn of Zebedee, fired his blaster at Havok. With an whirling orange flash, the green bolt was deflected back towards Jamesohn, striking him in the leg. He screamed and fell. Barkau rushed to aid his fallen comrade.
Havok's outstretched left hand altered in appearance. The illusion of his hand-flesh faded to the dull metal grey of a cortosis gauntlet and the hilt of a deactivated lightsaber.
"--Because, anyone truly bearing a sacred token stands in the palm of God's hand." Eli scowled, before addressing Havok once more. "Show me the token, or by God neither you nor I shall ever leave this place."

Due to the hard, yet considered just administration of Grand Moff Kasalle, crime has diminished on Harnaidan's bustling streets under the watchful eye of the ComSar Guards. The red banners of the First Order mark most of the capital's skyline, making it hard for any citizen to forget that they live within an imperial city, gouverned actively by the Empire's forces. Given the recent laws and the Grand Moff's attempts to create laws in the image of the Fel Empire's society, the stigma upon Muun and other alien races is slowly diminishing, resulting in a society that felt less oppressed by the autocratic rules enforced upon them. Smaller outbreaks and turmoils were still common, yet tend to happen on a smaller scale and more often in the dark alley ways rather than near the well-observed plazas and main streets of Harnaidan.
New towers were constructed at some of the main plazas by the Imperial Banking Guild, the official successor of the InterGalactic Banking Clan under direct imperial administration. While the Banking Guild isn't a branch of the Imperial Military directly, talks between the High Command and the directors of the organization are still held within some of these enormous buildings, that were already peaking through the clouds of Muunilinst, giving the officials an all-around look over the entire city scape.

"You are in no position to dictate. However, because I act on behalf of the Emperor, I say to you, approach and behold!" The sith lord spoke to Eli before addressing the sniper team in his earpeice. "Hold your fire." Havok brought forth his right hand from his robe, and in his hand he held a goldite signet ring with the crest of House Palpatine.
Brother Eli took slow steps forward through the puddles of rain on the plaza duracrete, still pointing his weapon at Havok. Even from a distance he could see the elaborate metal-work of Nabooian goldite-smiths. Every step closer gave him the impression of authenticity. The House's color was scarlet and prominently featured on the family crest, which depicted a veermok, an aiwha and a zalaaca. Passed from Cosinga to Sheev, it was not only a sign of the direct lineage of the God-Emperor, it was THE SIGNET RING of GOD himself! "The Sacris Firmitatis Indicium!" He resisted the instinctual urge to kneel before what appeared to truly be the sacred signet.
"Dear Brother! What is this token?" A vagabond inquired. "What does it mean?" Another asked. "Why does Brother Eli tremble?" The vagabonds questioned among themselves.
"Its not a token. It is THE Token." Brother Eli's tone had softened, approaching reverence, "The Sacris Firmitatis Indicium." His eyes moved from Havok's hand back to Havok's face. "That is, unless you are further deceiving me." He forced himself to use the cursed gift: skepticism. "How am I to know of its authenticity, or ... test your sincerity?"
"Are you calling for a sign?" The sith seer knew that Eli's scriptures had a passage that only wicked and idolatrous men sought signs. He gave a twisted half smile.
"You are a deceiver! You deceived the Counsel of the Eye! How can I trust my eyes?" Brother Eli accused the man standing before him.
Havok did not lie to the counsel. Eli was a fool for believing that. Nevertheless, Havok did not defend himself. Eli wouldn't believe the truth in this moment, even with irrefutable evidence. "The inquisitors have the power to discern truth from lie, yes?" The Sith Lord referenced the soothsaying ability that inquisitors used to ferret out the gems of truth from the babbled lies that spewed from prisoners in the torture chambers. Havok did not challenge Brother Eli's mistaken perceptions of Havok's part in leading the high lords of the Eye to the holy battlemoon. If the blind seer always tried to correct the beliefs of the misinformed, he'd never get his own work done.
"Of course." The inquisitor Confessor snapped. "Then use it." Havok goaded him. "Use it and know that I speak truth!"

Slowly, Brother Eli reached for the ring in the Dread Seer's hand. As he touched it, a vision of the God-Emperor unfolded to his eyes. The Holiest of Holy personages- wrapped in dark silk robes of the sith- peered down at him from the skies of Muunilinst, parting the clouds and ending the rain. Eli couldn't see the face, as much as feel it smile upon him, with its wrinkles and twisted pale skin. "My God-!" The inquisitor's face was streaked with tears of rapture. He had beheld a vision of the God-Emperor of the righteous! He had touched the divine through the most sacred of artifacts! "My GOD!" he repeated, in awe. The seven foot tall human whirled on the remaining vagabonds with his arms outstretched. "BROTHERS! I have seen a vision! The God-Emperor has smiled upon us this day!"
"You see it is genuine. Now will you believe that I am the emperor's messenger?"
A crack developed in Brother Eli's blissful expression. "I believe," He turned back to face Havok, "that you have stolen the Sacris Firmitatis Indicium!"
As Brother Eli raise his slugthrower at the sith lord, Havok exploded forward grabbing Eli by the sleave and lapel of his white armored trenchcoat, and hip-tossed the inquisitor flat on his back. With unmatched speed and dexterity, Havok ignited his red-orange lightsaber at Eli's throat and caught Palpatine's ring with his other hand. The inquisitor confessor's whit widebrim preacher hat went flying, exposing the sacred symbols carved into the skin of Eli's bald head.
"I was tasked with enlisting you, and extending the Emperor's mercy, but you try my patience." Darth Havok ordered the sniper team to kill another of Eli's vagabond followers. "Target, a beta, Send it."
A blaster bolt thundered from the sky above them like the lightening of god and struck one of the bums. Jamesohn of Morpheus went limp and fell backward like a statue with a smoking hole through his face. "Mercy that does not extend to your raggedy band." The Sith Seer was annoyed that he had to offer mercy, not once, but twice to the thick-headed inquisitor. "You've seen the tolken." The sith brandished the ring. "You know that I speak truly. How many of your filthy apostles do I need to put down before you yield to the will of God, spoken from my lips?" Darth Havok's teeth were clenched, his white sightless eyes glowing red-orange in glow of his steady lightsaber. When Eli hesitated to answer, Havok barked another command to his sniper team. "Target Beta, send it. Repeat."
Two simultaneous shots struck separate vagabonds. Jamesohn of Zebadee, already wounded in the leg from Havok's deflection, died as a blaster bolt struck his chest. The second victim, Handrew, the brother of Pitre, took a bolt in the neck, dropping him without a sound. "JAMESOHN!" Johnan, held Jamesohn's body in his arms with nothing to do but hold it. Pitre, froze, unable to move at the sight of his brother's body, before calling out to Brother Eli in anguish: "Inquisitor Confessor! The Emperor protects! The Emperor protects!"
With another pause from the inquisitor, Havok barked again. "Rep-" "STOP!" Brother Eli's voice halted Havok's command. The inquisitor relaxed on the ground. "The emperor protects." Havok understood Eli's tone to be one of submission, recognizing the emperor required complete submission to his will. "Swear it. Swear that you understand that God speaks- from his lips to my ears, and that my words are gospel." "I SWEAR IT!" Brother Eli spat, avoiding eye contact with the wrathful Havok. "Swear it on the Sacris Firmitatis Indicium!" "I swear by the Sacris Firmitatis Indicium that I will follow the words of God's messenger... Havok." Brother Eli's eyes flashed at the sith seer in contempt.
"Good. Good." Havok deactivated his lightsaber and tucked the holy ring back into his robe.
"Brother Eli? What does this mean?" Zealimon asked, with tears in his eyes, seeing the inquisitor confessor swear an oath to the black-robed messenger. "Death has been visited upon us! Will God not smile down on the believers?"
Havok scoffed, "You are NOT the the true believers. Target beta, remainder, send it. No survivors."
In a hail of blaster snipershots, the remaining vagabonds crumpled, with smoldering holes in their bodies.
Havok surveyed the carnage of his sniper team before he called for extraction. "Mission complete. Well done. Have the shuttle pick me up."
"I killed them like nerfs, for your sin of pride. Thou shalt have no other God before the Eye. You made your pride an idol, thinking these pathetic apostles were true believers? Thinking that you could unleash them on the galaxy and convert everyone? Were you going to bring these 'apostles' to the black temple? Of course not. Once they became Hannites they wouldn't be yours anymore. You wanted them for yourself and not God's glory. Remember this lesson before you think that unbelievers can possibly understand the depth of purpose and commitment demanded by the Eye. You are unfit to be my Axios."
"With all due respect, a pox upon you." Brother Eli picked himself off the ground and gathered his hat and his inquisitor cube, unwilling to engage with the dark seer any further, and smarting from the humiliation of Havok's spot-on assessment.
"I strip you of your Axios designation. You know where to meet me." Havok didn't bother offering Brother Eli a ride as an imperial assault shuttle appeared and descended from the nearby rooftops to hover above the ground of the plaza. Its boarding ramp lowered and Lord Havok stepped aboard. "The Eye is not dead, nor does it sleep. It grows restless for the return of Palpatine. You'll do well to remember than Inquisitor."
The assault shuttle ascended as quickly as it came, disappearing into the sky.
