The Black Forge is a place that is strong with the dark side of the force. It is also the place where Darth Znalost spends a vast majority of his time creating new and deadly Sith spawn. The Design was inspired by the forge that is being built on Odacer-Faustin, it lays between the path to the Dueling Arena and the Blackguard Ruins. The Forge utilizes the hot lava that flows on the planet's surface as a source of power to keep the Forge running at all times. Those who have gone to the Forge have claimed that they could feel an intense coldness flowing from the center of the forge, but only when Darth Znalost was around perform a ritual to create new Sith spawn.

Ritual Room, Black Forge, Mustafar.Darth Znalost had just finished creating a new type of Sith spawn using his techno-sorcery, It was humanoid in its appearance despite not looking like a typical human. This new sith spawn was made from a techno zombie that Znalost had in status pod, this new version of the zombie was different in many ways. For starters it didn't have the bottom half of its jaw and it couldn't spread the techno-zombie virus as well as the fact that it was intelligent. Znalost simply wanted to see if he could create an intelligent sith spawn that could think on its own, Znalost called this new sith spawn species Beta. Znalost spent the next few hours running tests to see how successful he was in his creation.

The Black Forge. A monstrous place where the arcane subverted science for power. A place that no one dared venture to unless they weren't given a choice. It was also one of the few places that the Sith'ari knew he could find his Jen'ari. Departing the transport that had brought him out here from HIGHCOM, where he had just finished his meeting with Akrak, the Zabrak strode into the main forge.
"Znalost..."
Breathed the Sith'ari. The pain within his head was overwhelming and nauseating. The Elders trapped within were becoming restless again, and no amount of willpower could calm them down. He needed Znalost and his mad science. Together, they had slowed the rate at which he was decaying by imbedding the focusing crystal within his chest. Perhaps, in his studies, the Jen'ari had found something else the could help slow the mental decay down...

Once the Sith'ari had entered the Forge Znalost motioned with his hand and dismissed the newly created Sith spawn, Beta species. Afterwards he turned around as soon as his name was mentioned as he turned around and saw the state of the Sith'ari, he knew that the Elders trapped within were becoming too much for even Viox to handle. Znalost moved closer to the Dark Lord of the Sith as he spoke."My Emperor.... It's the Elders isn't it?"Znalost stopped walking and speaking once he was close enough to the Sith'ari. Znalost had several ways of providing relief to the Sith'ari, one of which was his research that involved uploading the mind to a computer. This had been successful as he used it on himself in the past another way was using a more traditional method of using the spice native to Iridonia, Yarrock, to temporarily suppress the mental decay caused by the Elders. He had done some research into the spice while on Iridonia and found that a smuggler and spacer by the name of Drub Mcknumb had used the spice to suppress his own madness for a time. Znalost however wasn't ready to recommend either course of action until he could examine Viox.

Leaning heavily on a table nearby, beginning to sweat, the Zabrak winced in pain and nodded as Znalost asked his question. Despite his own natural strength and that imbued from a holocron and ritual in his youth, the aspect of keeping his mind calm and clear was beginning to wear on him. For the last several years he had dealt with them trapped within his mind. At first, his own determination and willpower kept them at bay. And the fact that he rarely drew on their strength. As time progressed, the temptation to succumb to the unnatural power and strength the Elders provided him was too much. Tapping into their powers granted him unprecedented levels of raw strength and unparalleled Force proficiency. Combined with his own powers, he was nigh unstoppable. However that had a drawback. Using the powers the Elders granted weakened his mind and his ability to control them. Immortality had a price. As did the power he sought. And he was beginning to pay for it now. Though the ultimate price to pay had been staved off due to Znalost's ingenuity. Embedding a focusing point within his chest, it had bought him time and had allowed him to regain control of his mental faculties. However, that was only a temporary solution. And it was beginning to be much less effective than it originally was. So much so that the constant headaches and nausea was starting to affect his day to day life, even without drawing on the powers the Elders offered. And the instability in his own powers was growing more apparent. Maintaining the façade that he was still as powerful and as in control as he had been in the beginning took all his effort. And it was taking a toll on him. The once youthful appearance he sported due to the unnatural longevity of his life was fading. Wrinkles, sagging skin and the other telltale blemishes of aging plague his visage now. In the past months, the Sith'ari went from appearing as a healthy and fit man of his mid thirties, to a sickly man of his late seventies. Fortunately he had been able to hide the physical signs of his decaying visage through the use of a holo-shroud when making public appearances or even meeting with those under his employ. Right now, however, the holo-shroud was switched off, revealing his true visage to Znalost, one of the few beings he still trusted without question.
"Yes...they are increasingly restless as of late..."
Croaked the Zabrak. His voice was hoarse and rough sounding, vastly different from the sharp, confident, commanding voice he normally used.
"I find myself in the uncomfortable position of asking for your aid, again..."
Normally a man of power, independent from the aid of those around him, his decaying condition was forcing his hand. Znalost was the only one he could truly trust at this point in time, due in no small part, to their personal relationship that had been established and developed over the course of the past several years. It wasn't easy to seek help, but there were few under the Blackguard that he felt he could trust with this information without someone trying to exploit his weakened state.

Znalost listened as the Sith'ari spoke, his voice hoarse and rough and now with the Sith Lord's holo-shroud turned off, Znalost could see the visage of an old man who was suffering from the effects of the strain of the power he held within. The decay caused by the elders was far more advanced than Znalost had even imagined, the solution of the elder stone embedded in the Sith's chest had seemed to only slow/delay the effects of maintaining the power granted by the Zabrak Elders. Znalost using the force waved his hand and chair slide across the floor causing the sound of metal grinding on metal to echo as the chair stopped behind the Sith'ari. Znalost motioned for Viox to take a seat and then turned and moved over to the forge's supply cabinet and brought out a tiny black plastene packet filled with Yarrock spice. He knew that this would only buy Viox more time, it would also buy him some time to come up with a more permanent solution to the problem at hand. With the packet of spice in hand Znalost walked back over to the Sith'ari and extended his hand with the black plastene packet of Yarrock out towards the aging, decaying Sith Lord and spoke.
"This is Yarrock, it should help suppress the elders for a time, buy if you use too much it could make matters worse for you."
Znalost waited a brief moment before he continued.
"The time bought using the Yarrock should be enough for me to come up with a more permanent solution to this problem. Should you need more of the Spice I'll make sure some is nearby."
Znalost waited for the Sith'ari to react to what he had said and to take the spice in his hand. Znalost also thought about a permanent solution at the same time. Perhaps attempting to rebuild the portal below Vader's castle could provide some assistance with his research.

Slumping down onto the chair that Znalost had pulled towards him, he snorted in disgust at the offered remedy for his current affliction. Yarrock. A powerful hallucinogenic from his homeworld of Iridonia. And it currently was the number one export from Iridonia by the Hutt Cartel. No, he was all too familiar with Yarrock addiction and overdose. This wasn't a fix for his ailing mind, this was yet another temporary solution. And a rather dangerous one, at that. Eyeing up the black plastene packet, he weighed his options carefully. At this specific point in time, he really did not have any other options. Or at least none that he was willing to entertain. Reluctantly, he held out a trembling gauntleted hand and took the packet from Znalost. Willing his hands to be steady, he tore open the packet and carefully sprinkled out a line of the spice on the table he was sitting at. With his pinky finger, he straightened out the line nice and neat, leaned in, plugged one nostril with his index finger and inhaled sharply. The effect was instantaneous. Leaning back in the chair, eyes closed, he exhaled slowly from his mouth, allowing the inebriated feeling to wash over him. The voices within his mind began to quiet and a blissful, euphoric feeling washed over him. Relief. No pain, no nausea, no voices. Everything was quiet. Opening his eyes, he glanced around the room, focusing on the green-skinned visage of Znalost.
"A temporary solution, Jen'ari. But one that I will make due with for the time being...thank you..."
After sitting for a few more minutes, the Zabrak rose to his feet. Tapping the holo-shroud on his belt, his appearance shifted, shedding over fifty years of age in an instant. Knowing full well Znalost would speak of what transpired here, the Zabrak inclined his head slightly, a sign of thanks and respect for the mad scientist.

Znalost watched as the Sith'ari administrated the dose of Yarrock spice. He could tell from the looking at the Sith's face that the spice had the desired outcome, Znalost lowered his head as a sign of saying you're welcome. Znalost then raised his head and meet the eyes of the Sith'ari as his holo-shroud turned on and spoke to the Sith Lord to see if that was all that he needed from him or if there was something else.
"Is that all you require, my Emperor?" Znalost with a half smirk on his face visibly pleased with himself for the praise he had received, then continued to speak to the Dark Lord. "Or perhaps there was something else on your mind?"
Znalost waited for his master to answer, the smirk now gone from his face as where all signs of emotions.

While still a tender subject, his fraying mind and his decaying physical appearance, they both needed to be more vigilant on slowing the process down. And while Yarrock was a temporary solution, he needed to find a more permanent one.
"Implantation or cybernetics. Being the forth most expert on the subject, I am curious as to your thoughts on the matter and if you deem it a worth while pursuit...?"
Knowing full well that his decaying physical appearance and prowess would invite all manner of disobedience and civil unrest, should the news be made public, this was a more permanent solution he had been thinking about. Though he was unsure of the side effects as well as whether or not cybernetics or implants could slow his condition or make it more manageable. At this point, however, aside from relinquishing the power he had attained, this was really the only other alternative that could potentially work.

Znalost listened to the Sith'ari ask for his thoughts on whether implantation or cybernetics were the way to go to find a permanent solution. Znalost's mind began to race with endless possibilities, although only a few were a viable option at this moment. Znalost looked away briefly to activate a holo display before turning around and answering Viox's question. "In the field of Cybernetics, there are a few options that we could use. For starters, we could build you a purely cybernetic body like that of the late General Grievous, we could keep your vital organs intact and we could even use the Elder Stone as a power source allowing you the same access to your power. However this would likely only decrease the effects of that plague you now."As Znalost spoke the holo display began to show the blueprints to a cybernetic body similar to that of Grievous. Znalost paused a brief moment before he continued and the image disappeared from the holo display."Another option would be to upload your mind to an ARD. We could combine the ARD with that of the Iron Knight design so that you could still harness the power of the Elder Stone. That should allow you to still use the force and not be affect by the Elders that reside within the stone itself."As Znalost spoke about the possibilities of uploading the Sith'ari's mind and using droid bodies that could harness the power of the stone an image displayed showing the blueprints of how such a feat would be possible and what it might look like as an end result. Znalost paused then continued."Another option would lay with Sith Sorcery, using the same method that Darth Vitiate used to keep himself alive for all those years. By dividing your consciousness and placing a part of it into another body and use a ritual to have you remaining consciousness and power flowing into your new body. It's a similar ritual that I preformed to gain this body." Znalost stopped to take a moment to allow the Sith'ari to think over all of the ideas he had suggested and to allow Viox to voice his thoughts on Znalost's ideas as well. Znalost had a few more ideas the required the use of sorcery, but he would wait for the Sith'ari before continuing on with potential solutions.

Watching the organic/synthetic hybrid speak of several different alternatives to extend both his life and his power was certainly appealing. While he had grown rather fond of the current body he was in, after nearly one hundred sixty years of life as a Zabrak, that was bound to happen. Truthfully, he had originally seen the longevity of life bestowed upon him in his youth as a curse. And yet, after a century and a half of life, searching for a way to ascend to being the Dark Side of the Force incarnate, shedding his now decaying physical form wasn't an issue. Retaining all of his faculties and power was more important. And Znalost was willingly entertaining the idea, even having gone so far as planning out robotic body replacements. Tapping the holoshroud on his belt, causing it to deactivate, revealing his true visage, he stepped forward and spoke.
"Transcending this physical body into another form is not an issue...as you can see...this body can barely contain the power that resides within as it is."
He raised his right hand and pulled off the gauntlet that he religiously wore, tossing it onto the table beside the black plastene packet of Yarrock. The red and black tattooed skin was gaunt to his visibly thinned hand and forearm. Boney fingers and sinewy hands and arms could be seen, a stark contrast to the once muscle bound hand and arm that had been there before. Formerly, the Zabrak Sith'ari had sported the tightened and toned physique of an Olympic athlete in their prime. Now...now he was slowly wasting away from within. Physically weakened in comparison to even several months ago, the Zabrak's physical health was beginning to rapidly decay. More so than he let on and more so then even Znalost knew.
"My power, combined with that of the Elders is eating me away from the inside...I have not built up this Empire, this legacy merely to rot away to nothing before it reaches its apex...I am the Black Emperor! I will cheat death! And I will see my grand designs through to completion!"
Despite the feeble and decrepit physical form, and the slow, agonizing descent into madness, there was still a certainty to his voice and his belief. Death was merely an obstacle. One that could be overcome, as had been demonstrated in the past. And he would do it. It was only a question of whether or not his physical form could last long enough to see it happen. At this rate, however, the chances of surviving the next four months was slim. However, he did have a contingency. Naturally. Though that too was only temporary. And while temporary bought him more time, it wasn't a remedy to his predicament.
"I sense you are not yet finished...continue. I want all of my options laid out before me. Everything."

Znalost watched as Viox disabled his holoshroud revealing his true, decaying form and listened as the Black Emperor spoke. Znalost chuckled to himself without showing any sign of it on his face. Znalost thought that it was amusing how emotional he was when speaking about his grand design. Znalost's full attention was back on Viox as asked for all of his options to be laid out. Znalost began to speak with a monotone voice.
"Besides the options, I just laid out the only other option would be to perform a spirit transfer. Although it may take some time to clone a suitable body or find one if you desire a fresh outlook on life."
Znalost waited for Viox to respond and began to run the calculations of perform a successful Spirit Transfer on a clone and on performing one on another person's body altogether.

And the final option was laid out. Transferring his essence, his life to another body. Though that had its short comings as well. Any cloned body of his, while still surprisingly resilient, wouldn't be able to hold his essence, combined with the extra power of the elders for very long. Months at the most. Perhaps a bit longer, if Znalost could find a way to increase the longevity of a clone's life. A demented looking smirk crossed the Zabrak's decaying face.
"Time, unfortunately, is not my ally. Though I did prepare for this eventuality..."
The Sith'ari turned the holoshroud back on and retrieved his gauntlet from the table beside the Yarrock packet.
"My Empress should be informing Lord Wraak and the Sith Knights as we speak. On Iridonia, beneath the Dark Diamond Palace, there is a laboratory. Twelve clones, genetically identical to their host, have been grown there...if this is the current course of action for me, then we will need that lab. And I will need to arrange a few things with you and the Empress..."
