Seeing Randolph’s fire as the sign, Zhia took aim as well, firing a few blasts at the engine components of the transport, hoping to ground it.

The force of the explosion rocked the transport as a sudden ambush set all of the soldiers' training into motion. The initial blast had shattered a section of the prisoner transport, exposing it to Air and Killing Sargent Salt instantly with heat and shrapnel. Thankfully the prison transport had first seen service as a military transport and the seals to the command section and prisoner storage locked down, protecting both sections of the vehicle.
The Squad moved swiftly into action as soon as the explosion had roared across the convoy. The rearmost of the 3 vehicles, a small speeder, disembarked a fire team of 4 Stormtroopers who let out a barrage of fire from their F-11 Blasters in the general direction where the explosive projectile had come from. No one had spotted the source for sure but they had been ordered to give security a priority over civilian life and as such weren't too concerned about collateral damage, hoping to get lucky with a shot. Meanwhile the lead speeder and prisoner transport began increasing in speed, the transport's former life as a tank allowing it to continue to function even after the explosion and with the new fire directed at it's armored sections. It was still functional, but It couldn't take much more of a beating. The other 4 troopers in the lead speeder, as well as the 4 still in the transport were on high alert, looking for the source of additional fire while the command crew of the transport were focused fully on getting out of the area as fast as possible, no matter what damage it might do to the surrounding street.

Zhia gritted her teeth in annoyance as the one transport kept moving through the explosions. "Damnit...of course the stupid thing won't go down that easily..."
Ducking down to avoid being seen, she radio'd back to Biz and her ship. "Heads up Biz, we got a runner." she turned and looked over the ledge again at it. "Transport, we hit it but it didn't stop, must be reinforced or something. they deployed troops and are looking for me, so i need you to take care of it."
She killed the channel without waiting for a response, keeping her radio traffic to a minimum. Waiting for the panicked blaster fire to stop, she traced Randolph's signal back from his earlier transmission and opened a private comm channel. "Alright the smileys down there don't know where either of us are, but we can't chase the transport down this way. i've got a ship coming in to help clean this mess up, so the smileys are our job now."

Fuck. He had hoped that with the middle one stalling, both the other transports would stop and defend. That was not the case. Already the farthest transport was almost out of range. Stepping out of cover nearly 40 feet from where the troopers were firing at he fired one more bolt at the extreme edge of his range. Even then he was not sure that it would hit the ship in time.
Keep firing on the Troopers Zhia Ill draw their attention.
At least she had that ship of hers and apparently someone to fly it. Before he could think any more H squad began to fire on him. His firing at the transport had removed him from cover. None hit, but it seems they had at least gotten better at firing not at civilians. Jumping out of cover he snapped off three explosive bolts in the direction of the final transport.

Zhia poked her head back up and readied her rifle, taking aim at the first stormtroopers to have hit the ground. Taking her time to aim, she slowly starts firing at them as they search for her and Randolph.
On the other end of town Biz receives her message and quickly spins up the Star’s engines, making sure to dust off and get airborne before and landing pad security are able to figure out just what is going on. Once airborne he guns it, making his way to the fleeing transport coordinates Zhia sent him, soon seeing the now unfolding firefight.
“Well this went messy” he groans.

The three transports have almost made it free when the last volley of explosive bolts ripped through a weak spot in the last transport and stalls it out completely. The 12 men of F squad dropping out of the transport as reinforcements are requested, scanning the area for more attacks. The squad's single sniper trains his E-11s sniper rifle on the now somewhat distant ambush area, scanning the building tops for the assailants. Meanwhile the first two transports make their way out of the engagement zone at less than safe speeds.
Meanwhile at Staging Area Bravo two Imperial Dropship Transports were loaded up with a squad of special forces quick action response teams each and began making their way across the city toward the trouble. Additionally two TIE/sf starfighters are scrambled from the local makeshift military Airbase to give support. Transports T-3 minutes out, and TIEs would be following moments afterwards.

Thank Kad.
As the last of the transports skidded to a stop Randolph started to run along the rooftops towards it and the troopers his armour standing out against stone colours of the roof he jumped up and took flight with his jetpack. Arcing into the sky Randolph fired the last of his explosive rounds towards the dozen troopers not aiming for any one in particular he hoped to inflict maximum damage with minimal effect. Once the last three bolts were fired Randolph switched to the the other type he had brought with him.
The bolts were tipped with depleted Baradium. Very expensive but it was the easiest way to create armour piercing rounds. The newest stage of the Stormtrooper was even stronger than the last being able to stand up against most blaster bolts and slugs. Nothing but the densest and biggest slugs or specialty blaster bolts could pierce their armour.
If that armour is indicative of your past life how much time do you think we have?
Using his height above the troopers Randolph shot another volley of Bolts aimed at the center of mass of a Stormtrooper that looked to be giving orders to the dozen down there.

"Not very long" Zhia scans the horizon for her ship, feeling bittersweet relief to see it among the tie fighters.
As the Hyperium Star closed into the fight, Biz took notice of the incoming tie fighters. "I hope you're listening out there Zhia, but we have incoming." He turned the ship towards the fighters and moved to engage, focusing power on the front deflector shields and dual cannons.
Receiving his message, Zhia took a more offensive stance firing at the stormtroopers guarding the transport. "Alright they're grounded, we need to move in and secure. My ship is keeping tie fighters off us for the time being, so this is our window. It can get us out of here but it'll have to be a very quick pickup, so we have to be ready." Switching her long blaster for her E-11, she waited until there was a small break in the incoming fire, and blitzed her way down the hill, laying down a suppressing fire.

Things were not looking good for the soldiers of F Squad. One of the explosive bolts had gotten lucky, taking the sniper full in the face and removing him from the equation entirely. The other two bolts did little more than spread debris around, but the absense of their sniper was keenly felt as the First Order Stormtroopers filed the air with bolts toward the distant and moving mandalorian target. Then the Baradium tipped bolts began to fall. Two bolts in quick succession sprouted from the sergeant's armor, unnerving the troops, sending one of them running, only to be gunned down by the squad's corporal, who directed the squad back to their objective. They all attempted to get under better cover as they sent shot after shot toward the mandalorian attacker from above. The attack from above served as a wonderful distraction though as two more storm troopers fell to the other attacker as she sprinted forward, before they even realized the threat. As another Bardium bolt killed the corporal, the remaining 7 troops split naturally into two fire teams. The team of 4 maintaining fire on the Mando as the other three let down fire on the other opponent, hoping to keep her pinned down.
Seeing the battle take a turn for the worst the vehicle officer did the only thing he could in this situation. He activated the anti-personel mines in the prisoner compartment before he and the other 3 members of his crew ran out of the transport and towards the nearest building, hoping to get under cover until reinforcements arrived. The prisoner compartment was suddenly awash in blood as thousands of small ball bearings exploded from the walls and began bouncing around the compartment, turning every last one of the dissenters into ragged, unidentifiable remains.
The two TIE pilots didn't give warning as the unknown ship turn toward them on an attack vector. Breaking off in opposite directions both turrets of the TIE/sf starfighters tracked the ship launching a pair of concussion missiles each at the unexpected support for the ambush. Meanwhile the fighters split off perpendicular to the other ship, turning smoothing to begin a run on it from each flank. The Imperial transports radio in one minute out, bolstering the confidence of the few remaining troops on the ground.

Zhia ducks and weaves closer to the transport, using the shrapnel from the initial explosion as her cover. As she closed in on the transport, the troopers rallied and began suppressing her with renewed vigor and fire. While looking for an opening, the explosion inside the transport could be heard, worrying Zhia.
"Damnit, that wasn't our target was it?" She looked around, temporarily unable to find Randolph. "If it was we need to bug out now, they'll be on us within minutes."
Biz banked the star hard to the side, dodging the concussion missiles but unknowingly putting himself in the line of fire for the flanking ties. Their blasts struck the ship, but luckily were blocked by the shield to minimize damage. "Want to play that way?" Biz muttered to himself. "Fine, let's get serious." Reallocating power to the rear deflectors and engines, the Biz separated himself from the group of fighters, flying away from the conflict for a moment to lure them away, but then quickly reversed the Star and set the ship to hover, minimizing engine power to overload the shields and laser cannons, easily taking aim and opening fire rapidly at the approaching fighters.

Randolph had a clear line of sight on the transport as the back of it erupted in a tangled mess of ball bearing and flesh. Amazingly someone actually managed to walk out of the back. Well stumble actually. If Randolph had zoomed in his optics on the individual he would see an Ithorian missing one of its arms, riddled with holes and covered in the bits of pieces of the others inside. It got about two feet outside the transport before it too died.
Moving so that he would be obscured by the Dantooine sun he took aim at the group of three firing at Zhia and fired.
It was. Bug out, Ill cover you.
He knew that the First Order had very terrible practices in war and their brutality was well known but this was something else. These were unarmed prisoners. Hell most of them inside were nothing more than people who were late for curfew or committed minor offences. He had no problem killing, it was at the center of his beliefs and religion but this, this was too much. After firing three rounds towards the group firing at Zhia Randolph left the cover of the sun and flew straight towards the three Imperials who had fled the ship after the mines had been activated.

Zhia waited for the suppressing fire to break, then ran for it. Glancing to the sky, she watched as the two tie fighters exploded into balls of fire and rolled her eyes. "Biz nice to see you're having fun up there, but the lights are on, time for the roaches to scatter." she ducked back down under a ridge, taking the opportunity to fire back at the stormtroopers that weren't killed by Randolph's rain of arrows, striking one in the leg, dropping him to the ground. "Alright Randolph, get ready for a very quick pickup."
Recieving Zhia's message, Biz dropped the star into a very low flight, almost skimming the ground as he closed in on the two troublemakers. Opening the rear hatch, he reached out across Zhia's comm frequency to hopefully reach her new friend. "Alright, backdoor pickup, let's move it!" He spun the ship back around, pointing the nose of the ship towards any remaining FO and the rear towards Randolph and Zhia.

Firing three more bolts at the three who fled the transport two of the transport crew fell, one of them being pinned to the wall from the force of the bolt. The third one, with a bolt piercing the back of his leg tried to limp away from Randolph but flight had its perks. Using his momentum Randolph flew directly into the man his weight stunning the Imperial. Grabbing the man under the arms he flew towards the open hatch, bolts flying his way he landed heavily in the hanger. Dropping the Imperial pilot roughly on the ground he faced out the rear ready to fire.
This Imperial bastard ruined everything. It would be best that we get out of here post haste Zhia.
Because of the actions of one man the entire plan had been ruined. Not just this small instance but the hopes of his employer had been ruined. Or the would be when he found out about this. Once the shuttle doors closed Randolph would go back to the injured Imperial and his him once with his armoured hand knocking him out.
Do you have any bacta or medical supplies on this thing?

Zhia ran towards the ship, firing a grappling hook into the ship, catching on part of the hatch. She quickly pulls herself in and detatches the hook as randolph knocks out the imperial. She pointed to a storage bin as she ran to the cockpit as he asked about medical supplies.
"Cmon Biz we overstayed our welcome, let's go!" she jumped over the back of her pilot's chair, landing in it and grabbing the controls as Biz sealed the rear hatch. "Hold on back there" she warns over the ship speakers before turning hard and flying away from the battleground. She stays low to avoid scanners and flies away from any nearby city. As biz began to plot a flight course, Zhia skims across radio frequencies, and is angered when she hears first order communications about her ship. "Crap. Biz, just hide for now." she leans back and groans in frustration, letting Biz pilot. "Get up here randolph." she sighs. When randolph arrives, he sees that she has taken her helmet off and spun her chair around to see him. "Alright, so FO have our transponder signal, which means getting off planet is going to be a little hard. We could try to get some clearance codes and simply fly through their blockade, or risk it without." she shakes her head. "But this ain't a battle cruiser, so i don't think trying to fight our way through is a smart idea."

Removing the bolt from the Imperials leg after grabbing the kit indicated. Inside were the usual items one would find but Randolph was surprised to see Kolto instead of Bacta. Essentially the same Bacta was better in every regard, still this man deserved the lesser healing properties of Kolto. Dressing the wound tightly he hoped that the wound would never truly heal completely. As long has he lived that was all that matter.
Hearing Zhia call him up he made his way to the bridge and removed his own helmet. Underneath was a normal ordinary face. One you would pass without a second look. No scars marred him, no facial hair. Just chocolate brown eyes to match his hair
This whole plan has gone to shit. No we can't risk it and I need to get off world. We both should. These Imperials don't know our faces but they will search for us, they are ruthless and their leader is supposed to be the worst of them on the planet. Maybe the one downstairs will be able to to help us find some codes. Or find us a weak spot. I can be very persuasive
With that a small sinister smile appeared on his face as he thought of ways to make him talk.

"Dead men tell no tales" Biz remarks sarcastically.
"don't mind him" zhia rolls her eyes. "Actually before i forget, randolph this is my co-pilot B1-Z42."
he turns the chair and gives a slight wave. "Biz for short." he turned back to the console.
"So now the question is where to hide. even if we have to risk sneaking into a town for any reason, no way in hell we will get away with landing there, and we can't just fly around and pretend they wont eventually find us, so we need to find an isolated place to set the ship down." she shrugs and brings up a nav chart of the planet. "I don't know dantooine very well, so i'm hoping you have an idea or two on where to hide for the time being."

Randolph remained silent upon meeting the droid. Like most sentient creatures he did not care for when a droid started to form a personality. It had a job, and whenever it got to knowing to much a quick memory wipe would solve a lot of issues. Including the stopping of a personality forming. This one appeared to not have had one in a while.
Most of my time was stuck in the city sadly. I know there are some native trees out in the grasslands, maybe we find a clump of them close enough to the city to walk in and work from there.

"Sounds good to me." Zhia takes control of the ship again, patrolling the far outskirts of the city before finding a decently thick patch of trees and foliage to hide the ship within, landing and quickly powering it down. "alright, looks like we'll be here for a bit. i guess start with our captive imperial first, see if you can get anything out of him." she thumbs towards her helmet. "Otherwise i'll work on infiltrating the city. my armor still works as a decent disguise for the most part."

Jwur moved through the woods, continuing his hike that started days ago as he left the ancient jedi ruins. He knew he could no longer hide as the universe was threatened yet again. He must act. He left for the nearest city, to begin his quest to stop this new enemy. He knew not of who they were, but that they followed dark teachings and orders. This was reaffirmed, as he felt a small conflict not far from him result in the loss of several lives, including innocents. He felt their cries throughout the force, he felt remorse that he didn't help, he knew he now must. As he got closer to the city, he saw a small freighter land in the woods, a clear sign of hiding, and decided to head for it. He would find answers there, as it would either be this new rival, or those who tried to oppose it. He checked his robes for his only two major possessions, a lightsaber, and an ancient text. Unsure of their inevitable reactions, he made sure both were well hidden in his robe as he approached the ship.

As the ship touched down Randolph re-entered the bay and saw his captive tied up sitting with his back to a wall. His helmet on his hip he walked up to the man and knelt down in front of him.
We need off this rock one way or another and thanks to your actions back in the city you are going to help us.
Despite his calm cool voice there was something underneath it that chilled people to the bone. An undertone of violence that might erupt at any moment.
Before that though, how is the leg?
The look in Randys eyes were one of pure terror. The same look he had in the city, and inside the shuttle as he pressed the button. He had taken this job on the Dantooine as an easy gig. The planet was conquered early in the war and the population was cowed. Any dissidents were easily dealt with. Hell there were 20 being sent away for petty crimes.
Ill live
The truth was, the pain in his leg was the single worst thing he had ever felt. The bolt going in was not near as bad now as it was being pulled out. Even now he could feel the Kolto being healing his wound. An itch he could not scratch.
Whatever I can do just ask it, please just let me go.
