Zhia coasted calmly down the city streets, looking for places where undesirables may be known for. The sky quickly darkened as the day shifted to night, allowing her to move past the stormtrooper patrols even easier. She sighed, almost on the verge of getting annoyed when an indicator in her helmet chimed. Her sensors had picked up unusual movement. She casually flipped her left arm over and accessed a small datapad built into her armor and checked the sensor record.
Constantly a dozen yards back, about a story or so up. Huh...either there's a very large bird that likes me, or i'm being followed.
Zhia tried glancing around her without moving her head, getting a lay of the land but unable to see her pursuer. She brought up her map in her helmet and found a nearby alley way, and made a casual turn to walk down it, hoping that it would force her tracker to come down to her level.

This was the chance Randolph had been waiting for. While in the middle of the alley the Mandalorian made his move. Unlike a Jetii he could not jump down to the ground. He might have been able to do it unencumbered but with his armour Randolph was not about to risk damaging his knees in order to look cool. Walking down a fire escape when the Mandalorain got to the ladder he didn't wait for it to slide down and just rode it to the ground.
I don't know who you are but we should get out of the open. The city is on lockdown.
His helmet translated his native Mando'a into basic so the stranger would be able to understand him. He kept his hand on the ladder so that it would not float back up. Hopefully the duo would not be seen before the stranger listened to him.
These Smileys aren't very bright, the roofs are much easier to get around the city once curfew takes effect. That armour might help you with the less bright ones but if I could see the difference others might be able to as well.

Zhia looked at the stranger and weighed her options. Eventually, she decided to go along for now. "Biz" she muttered over their private comm. "Just start tracking my location. If anything erratic happens, come get me." She then switched her helmets communications to external. "Fair enough, but don't think you can try anything" she smirked inside her helmet a bit, then moved to climb up alongside the stranger.

Dont try anything? Its not like he could do much right now, sure they could go hand to hand but right now he was unarmed. That and any sort of noise was to much in his mind. Climbing the ladder and leading Zhia back to his room it only took about 10 minutes. During that time there was only one tense moment in his mind. Someone had come out on to the roof beside his window with a lover. It seemed that someone had a taste for the thrill of being caught. Thankfully the young lovers did not pay much attention and after a few minutes they were able to enter the safety of his room.
Taking off his helmet the diminutive Mandalorian would stare at the Stormtrooper a few seconds before speaking.
Thank Kad you came during the night aruetyc or the Imperials would have seen through your armour. Why are you here?
Turning around he placed his helmet on the bed and began removing his gear. Hopefully after the scene outside the Stormtrooper wouldnt get the wrong idea about his taking off the Beskar'gam after all he did have the undersuit still on.

Zhia leaned against the wall and toyed around on her datapad. "Work. Why do you care?" She rolled her eyes inside her helmet during his comment about being lucky. "I've dodged their patrols plenty. My armor works more than effectively as an interaction deterrent." She watches as he begins taking his gear off. "You're either incredibly gullible to trust a stranger this much, or just incredibly confident about your skills to un-arm yourself here."

Without looking up from removing his right greave Randolph chuckled slightly
Go ahead and shoot me you would just be doing Kads will.
His voice was monotone as he spoke, almost sounding bored. In truth Randolph had stopped being afraid of death as a young boy. The priesthood he had been raised in taught him the importance of death and conflict and to fear stagnation. He lived his life by this, giving up everything for his god.
You would bring a lot of other Stormies down on you and I doubt that even your armour would fool them if they looked into you. What kind of work are you hoping to find dressed as a Stormtrooper in the middle of the night?
Remembering his manners he looked up for a moment.
I'm Randolph by the way.

"I'm looking for my line of work as a mercenary" she felt inclined to correct him. "The fact that i use old stormtrooper armor is irrelevant. Most don't notice it at a glance." she was silent for a moment, before flipping her arm back over and crossing it with her other, giving her focus to Randolph. "I'm Zhia."

As Randolph listened to Zhia speak he finished removing the last of his armour. Sitting with both his elbows oh his knees and hands facing inwards he nodded to himself a few times.
Always nice to meet my competition. I have a job tomorrow, everything is in place but there is always room for one more.
In truth the mission was going to be the easiest in a long line of jobs for Randolph. There had been little resistance thus far and they Stormtroopers were fairly tame compared to some theaters.
You will of course be compensated.

“I’m not looking for competition. And it depends, what’s the job and who are the targets?” She cocks her head a bit, mildly intrigued now that he’s caught her attention.

Standing over Randolph walked over to a shelf and picked up a small holo projector. For a moment he considered not turning it on at all. This Merc dressed as a Stormtrooper could just be looking for an easy confession. Of course if it was a plot to capture him it was stupid for so many reasons. Thumbing the activator on the projector he layed it down flat. Come closer, I wont bite. Even if I did that armour would protect you. Looking at the hologram you would see a Transport modified from the usual troop transports to accommodate the prisoners. A group of three would traverse the city from the Imperial Garrison to the starport to make the drop. I planned on hitting them here He said pointing to a narrow street about a third of the way through the route. the objective is to free these prisoners from the First Order and take out the Stormies driving. Cut and dry, real simple. You want in?

"What's so special about these guys?" she cocked her head quizzically and paced slowly around the holo projector, watching the feed flicker in place. "What's so different about them compared to the dozens of other prisoners they're shuttling off planet?" She turns her gaze to him.

I wish I knew.
In truth Randolph felt that there was no one of importance on the transport. When he had been hired it was not for any one job but for a period of time. He was given operational control to make the choices and decide the target whom he would chose. So long as it created civil unrest and killed as many First Order personnel as he could. The more jobs he could prove he did the more he would be paid.
Honestly they are probably just people that oppose the First Order or committed some crime. I chose this target after watching the route several times. They always take the same one and I was just hired to be a pain in the ass
Looking up at Zhia he cocked his eyebrow.
So are you in? An extra blaster is always appreciated.

she shrugged. "Long as it pays, fine. But i'll need an topographical survey and map of where you want this to go down. I do my best work from afar." She reached town and turned the holo projector off. "And of course some time to get set up."
Zhia didn't like this, there were too many unknowns, and she got the feeling Randolph knew ALOT more than he was leading on to, but she felt it was best to simply play along for now. With a few motions of her eyes she keyed up the private comm between her and the Hyperium Star and shut off her external speakers so he couldn't hear.
"Found a job, First Order targets. Should be fun. How's the ship?"
Biz spoke back to her "Boring. But everyone has given the ship a wide birth, they really took our cover that we are some super high ranking officer." He laughed a robotic steely laugh. "None of them have even dared to look at the ship for too long."
"Good" she smiled in her helmet. "Well i've got to get to work here. Find something to entertain yourself. Solve a puzzle or something."
Biz began his annoyed reply, quickly cut off as Zhia closed the comm channel, chuckling to herself quietly.

Nodding Randolph sent over all the information he had gleaned from his observations. Armour variations, common arms, elevation levels and best locations to fire from up to 100 meters away and so on.
Take your time, they wont be moving the targets until almost dusk tomorrow. You are welcome to the other bed unless you want to get your own room.

“Eeh no thanks, i’ll Be disappearing now.” She taps her helmet. “You’ll be hearing from me tomorrow.”
Zhia quickly left on that note, crossing the rooftops and dropping back down into an alleyway, easily fading away into the night as she examined the information Randolph provided. She picked a taller hill about 200 meters away from the patrol route, an excellent spot for her to try and snipe from once it was on the move. She casually strolled through the street, avoiding FO patrols with ease until she found a place she felt was safe to rest for the night, resting with her back to the wall, and E-11 In hands. She slowly drifted off to sleep, but stayed aware, ready to react in a split seconds notice as she was trained to be.

As Dina rose over the planet Randolph was already up doing his morning fitness routine. One hundred pushups, one hundred sit ups, one hundred squats and a 10 kilometer run. It was easy to do when the sun was up. Walking back into his room his mind wandered back to the Stormtrooper mercenary he had met last night. They had said that they would meet again tomorrow. Unless they showed up here though it would be difficult to find them. If Kad willed it she would show up, and if not then there would be more lives for him to give towards his god.

Zhia yawned as morning came. Getting back up, she started moving again, avoiding patrols and making her way through the streets until she was out of the clustered part of the city. She made her way over to the hill she favored, getting set up and checking her long blaster to make sure it was still in working condition. Once satisfied, she laid down and began to wait. A few minutes in, she raised Biz on her comlink.
“Hey, scan frequencies and keep an ear out for FO patrol routes, as well as this mandalorian merc I met. I need to keep tabs on all of them.”
“What am I? Your service droid?” Biz replied.
“Aren’t you?” Zhia smirked in her helmet.
Biz laughed “yea yea i’m On it.” The comlink then went quiet, as to minimize their radio traffic.

Sergeant Salt would have spat if the stormtrooper helmet he was wearing wouldn't turn that into a very disgusting exercise in futility. He was tired of these endless prisoner transfers. The First Order had 6 temporary prison centers in or just outside the city and it seemed like their wardens all got their kicks out of sending prisoners back and forth to each other. Maybe it wasn't quite that bad but when your job was riding in an old HCVw A9 turbo tank guarding "Political Prisoners" all day each journey felt like a lifetime. Doing another visible check of the dozen dirty and broken prisoners in his charge the stormtrooper squad leader felt no remorse. They were the enemy and he would do his duty, he just wished his duty wasn't so annoying. He had been trained for combat not this babysitting.
After doing the 6th check of his F-11D blaster rifle he did a quick check in with the 4 man crew driving the vehicle. Everything was still on schedule. He did a quick com check in with the other 12 troopers in his squad before settling back in his position standing in the small security compartment between the prisoner storage area and the transport's command center staring at the prisoners through the emotionless helmet of a First Order Stormtrooper.

Zhia laid in wait, keeping her focus on the supposed transfer route. She checked her long blaster, making sure it was operational and focused in for when she needed it. Afterwards she began casually scanning through the radio frequencies, hoping to hear from the mandalorian.

As the day had progressed Randolph had prepared himself as best he could. He had kept radio silence with the stormtrooper he had met the night before. They had said something about operating from a distance and he assumed that meant sniper fire. As such on a few of the buildings he had set up flags that would indicate wind direction and speed. Presumably they would use more up to date technology that Randolph but you never know. Maybe they liked to use archaic weapons.
Eventually though there was nothing he could do but wait. So he did. Staring up at the sky he watched the clouds blot out the sun as they drifted lazily above his head. Since he had been here he had yet to see anything but a perfect day. This planet was the perfect example of everything he had been raised to stand against. Arasuum seemed to have a hold on the planet. Sure it would occasionally feel its peace rocked, by invasion by some force or another most recently they First Order but even they have fallen into complacency. The timer on his HUD showed 60 seconds and he stood up and stretched as the group of Imperials approached.
Im not sure if you are listening my friend from the distance but if you want your share get ready.
His modulated voice went out over several comms channels, most would assume that it was nothing. Just someone on the wrong channel. However he hoped his friend would get the message.
As the convoy turned the corner he hoisted his repeating bow to his shoulder and automatically his his HUD showed the reticle and a probably trajectory of his bolts. He aimed the explosive bolt at the middle transport and waited for a straight shot. At the right moment he fired his bolt at the Imperial Forces.
