So after years of trying to get my old stories off the ground and failing, I've decided to start fresh. This is an unused alt account I've had wasting away for a long time, repurposed so I don't have to erase anything on my other account. What can I say, except I'm a nostalgic old fool?
Anyways, this is a complete reboot of Nartaga as a character. I'm hoping that instead of me always trying to start a Tusken empire or whatever, I'd go in the opposite direction while changing some fundamental things about the character to make it different. I won't be writing as a whole clan of Tuskens, at least as anything other than the interactions of stops and trade. He is not in any leadership role, instead being an outcast of his tribe. That's right, the R'Crurak are a smaller tribe, and far more xenophobic. Nart still has his basic values of equality and friendship, and makes his living in the Mospic mountains guiding people to and from places in and through Tusken territory, or guarding moisture farms.
I'm planning on going really basic here. Nart is not going to be the fine spoken Tusken leader he was previously. I'm thinking of bringing it down to not even having a fully fledged out vocabulary in Basic, speaking broken Basic and supplementing with some sign language or mistaken words. Not having anything except his bantha, and really going into the wild nature of the Force as how I've always had the Tuskens I write interpret it, but getting real crazy with it.
What I'm looking for is maybe one or two people to write with in the Tatooine wastes. Maybe someone looking for a guide to some ruins outside the safe inhabitable zone of Tatooine, travelling in a caravan across the dunes from one settlement to another. I'm not really too picky, but currently it would have to be on Tatooine, given Nartaga 2.0s lack of access to tech or know how.
Looking for more of a supportive role in any story, as I try and flesh out the character through his reactions and interactions with the other characters, while helping them achieve their goals of the story which we can agree to beforehand or what have you.
I have a lot of free time as of late with my job, working night shift at a hospital. I work 7 on 7 off, and surprisingly I'll actually be able to write more when I'm at work, as my 7 days off is spent with family and friends. I'm easily reached via Discord and will check my pms and this thread as often as I can.
