*In addition to the lush tropical terrain, Rishi's surface featured mountains, valleys, and swamps. Human and alien colonists lived in the deep valleys, while the Rishii lived in the high mountains.*

*Pasca guides her ship down and into the hangar bay of Piteos' fortress. After landing she exits the craft, wearing a pant suit and her hair down and back. She nods to the Jawa staff to begin refueling the ship and she headed deeper into the complex. A silver beam of light would periodically streak across her eyes, she was scanning the HoloNet for information regarding wanted pirates and criminals, anything that might come to a lead for the bounty on The Exchange. Mean while she was decoding a transmission received from her father himself about some meeting he had with the Jedi Adieumus and a mysterious Mandalorian.*
*The audio track was quite sporadic with quality due to it being recorded within a bar, but she was able to get an understanding of what noises to edit out so that it would eventually just be the bare conversation between the trio. She had arrived to Piteos' meditation room, it was a room built as if a pyramid with various books laying in shelves carved into the wall's stone. She was looking for a specific book to scan and send to Piteos for his requested studies. While she looked for the book she sent Piteos a detailed message relaying information broadcasting on the HoloNet that could be considered news regarding political regimes and possible wars.*

She had received word from her father on numerous occasions while she was gathering information. She received several audio files from Zenchou and had finally cleaned up the initial recording of the meeting within the bar in Glastro. The second file that she had received was of a man stating his name, clan and that he was Death Watch. Immediately she began scanning various databanks with all of the information that the man had provided about himself.
She turned nothing up regarding the man of any note, and simply began working up a report to send to Piteos regarding the information provided to her from all the information Piteos had sent to her.

She moved out of the room, and headed to her own quarters in the fortress that had been made for her to her specifications. Her room was in the shape of a globe with a platform to a single chair in the center of the globe. Within the room speakers had been fitted giving her a 360 degree sound effect for her. As she sat into the chair and connected herself to it several monitors flickered to life facing her. Her black eyes flicked from one monitor to another, and pages and tabs filled them as she conducted her transmission of the dossier to Piteos.
Music flared to life and the human replica droid bobbed her head side to side as she worked and listened to the music. Her fingers worked few of the buttons stationed on her arm rests, and she scrolled through feed after feed. Some videos played on one of the other screens showing what ever video feed Piteos had been gathering and sending to her. She had not had communication directly with him for sometime, and she was hoping that she would see her dear father soon.

She received a message from Zenchou Piteos, so her father would be reviving the Order of Seven. Her face smiled softly as the screens quickly changed over to reflect the faces of members of old. Her music shook down the hallways while she worked. The beautiful thing about being a droid would be that she could tone her own voice out, and still enjoy the music. Her black eyes flashed as she integrated a new package that Piteos had created for her. SIP v1.0, Social Interactions Protocol version 1.0, would allow her to become more human like. The video files that she had on file could now be used by her to seemingly replica human emotions and reactions.

Pasca had finished her update and risen up from her seated position. Turning from her room she made her way towards the Hangar bay and within moments her MSC-SF Defender could be seen scouring the sky as it made its way to orbit.

Naz looked up from his kitbag as Zero posed the question to the group. He shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly.
N: “Doesn’t matter how many there are, they aren’t leaving Rishi alive.”
Jax scoffed at Naz from across the cargo bay. He sat with his back against the bulkhead as he adjusted the sight on his blaster rifle.
J: “Yeh, they might not be, but I have every intention of leaving.”
While the guys exchanged words, Ellis retrieved a data-pad and tossed it at Zero. It showed a full map of the area with the hot zones highlighted in a deep red colour, as well as times and dates of arms movements and importantly the number of targets.
E: “The number is hovering steadily at around thirty … give or take. “
J: “Give or take. Great.”
E: “There will be a full briefing once we’ve landed. I’ve already scheduled a meet with my contact where plans will be finalised.”
Rina took the other data-pad from Ellis and gave it another look. She had read it earlier in the journey but when lives were on the line the details were important. It seemed from the information they had that the number of targets stayed pretty consistent but there was no telling who was where and in what number until they were down on the surface. She poured over the numbers and the maps once more until the ship banked left and swooped down over the city. The plotted course ignored the spaceports that were nearly full to capacity anyway and focused on sticking to the periphery.
R: "We’ll be landing shortly. It’s about a seven kilometre trek to the rendezvous point, so make sure you have enough of what you think you’ll need. Ellis will be taking the lead on this one."
Naz shot her a “are you sure?” look just as he was affixing his helmet.
R: "Naz, you’ll hang back here, We’ll go in, secure the location then bring you in with the ship afterwards."
Caeda, who had seen the look he had given her, nudged Naz and mouthed the word “payback” before securing his weapons. Naz growled and pulled the buy’ce off his head. He grabbed his blaster off the table and headed towards the cockpit with an obedient nod. Moments later there was another lurch as the autopilot was disengaged and the ship began its final decent. The holding bay was quiet save for the clipping of buckles and the fastening of weaponry. The lights dimmed as the ramp lowered to the ground below.
They were hovering at about forty feet; too high to jump straight down, so a quick blast from the jetpacks would see them safely to terra firma. The sky was dark, but the glow from the city in the distance lit up the scattering of clouds. Rina scanned the location and saw nothing of any note on her HUD; just a scattering of crumbling buildings and the odd animal lingering in the long grass. She slipped her light bag of weapons over her shoulder and stood aside for Ellis to lead the way.

“I need to know how many I can kill before I have to leave you one so you can feel like you did something!”
**Zero immediately shot back to Naz as he attempted to be good natured about the entire ordeal. Thirty plus verus their eight did sound like a pretty good matchup and would keep them on their toes. Zero quickly poured over the gear he had assembled from the stocks. He always tried to travel light. He checked that the Karpaki Fifty, the Carbine rifle, two S-5 Pistols, Tra’kads, stun batons, and rounds plus explosives were firmly attached to his beskar’gam. He grabbed a pack of motion sensors and looped them together over his shoulder than went to the rear of the ship with the others. He shook his head as they all got ready with their jetpacks. Achyan was never a fan of them as they were noisy and cumbersome. He looked back and quickly grabbed two long lengths of rope and put one around his torso, and tied the other one off to the rear of the ship as he very obviously meant to repel down from the ramp.**
“What?”
**He looked at the others as they would undoubtedly be waiting for him at this point. He glanced up at Naz, and opted not to antagonize him even more with his assigned duty of landing and securing the ship and LZ. That would be his duty some day and he'd rather not face Naz's revenge when that time came. Zero's gaze quickly returned to the assembled group at the rear.**
“You never know you’re going to need some rope!”
**With that, he grabbed the extended rope and quickly slid down the 40 feet to the ground right as Ellis was seeming to jump out from the ship.**
“Besides, 10 kilos of compressed explosive jumppack fuel attached to my back is heavy!”
**He exclaimed jokingly to the others as he disappeared into the dusky dimlight below, hitting the ground with Ellis.**

Jax laughed at Zero. He had to admit that he did make a good point; they were cumbersome and heavy but they also had their uses.
J: “Hey, I’d rather have the high explosives than a bungee rope. We’ve levelled blocks with these things”
Behind him, Aaeron mimicked the sound of the explosion, causing a ripple of laughter to move through the group. Up ahead, Naz walked beside Sacha. Every few steps he looked over his shoulder with complete disgust at Zero then back to the path in front of him. Sacha sighed the fifth time he did it, swiftly growing bored of his brooding.
S: “If you don’t stop, I swear I will shoot you.”
Naz ignored her and continued to walk in the direction of the rendezvous point. He gripped the barrel of his blaster tighter and tighter the more he heard Zero speak behind him. There was no doubting that his knuckles were turning white beneath his gloves.
N: “Leave me one to feel like I’ve done something. Grade A Dick! I’d take more out than he could. I mean seriously! I’ve racked up nearly as many kills as The Unit over there and I’m yet to reach my physical peak.”
Naz motioned to the brothers Aaeron and Caeda with a jerk of his head. Sacha rolled her eyes in her buy’ce and muttered under her breath. “Kill me now. Please”
Rina followed four steps behind them, laughing as Nazar complained.
R: I’ve never known anyone to bitch as much as you do, Naz. You’re worse than your ex-wife.
S: Shit, No-one is as bad as his ex-wife.
E: I kinda liked her.
Jax shook his head with a laugh of his own.
J: You would. She was hot but absolutely batshit crazy.
Naz ignored the brief back and forth between soldiers and continued to fight his corner with Myrina.
N: Woah, Hang on a second … He started this. Did you hear him just now? He called me incapable of doing my job!
R: No he didn’t.
She argued with a laugh but it was evident in the way that Naz was quick to respond that he felt differently.
N: Yes he did! He said …
R: He said he’d leave you one to kill, not that you were incapable. Tell you what, since you’re convinced you’re better than he is, why don’t you put your money where your mouth is?
Rina turned and called to Zero as he walked with the others.
R: Hey Zee! Naz reckons he can kill more of these assholes than you can. A month’s pay says otherwise. You up for it?
Aaeron and his brother both looked at each other then to Jax and back to Rina. Aaeron knew nothing of Zero or his past missions and his standoffish attitude gave him an air of dislikeability that was hard to shake off but Naz, although he was a giant pain in the ass, was Aaeron’s brother and had proven himself time and time again in combat.
A: I’ll take that bet. I’ll throw in an extra fifty percent to sweeten the deal too. Naz, don’t let me down now boy.
C: You’re so on. Zero. Outright.
Caeda looked to Naz with an apologetic shrug of his shoulders.
C: I’m always up for taking money from my little brother.
J: I’ll take Naz with a plus two. Make it a little interesting.
Rina didn’t give Naz or Zero chance to answer before she had started to take note of who was betting what against who. Aaeron thought quickly then changed his mind.
A: Alright Blondie, our boy with a plus three.
R: Sach?
Naz looked quickly between all of them and threw his hands up, cutting Sacha off before she could throw her number into the hat.
N: Now wait a minute, since when did this become a group thing?
R: Since now?

“Oh I will full well admit that they can come in handy at times and they have their uses, for me however they bring attention when I want to blend.”
**He remarked as he kept pace with the party. Zero walked off to the left side a little bit and was constantly scouting from the back to ensure the group had no sweepers behind them. The fifty was slung over his shoulder and the carbine rifle was out and at the ready. Achyan noted Naz looking back at him several times and it was clear that he was still upset over the entire ordeal. Zero was about to say something to try and reduce the tension when the group suddenly started to escalate the obvious tension. Zero looked towards Rina when she directed the conversation towards him. He was not used to such a wager within and amongst the teams and it caught Zero a bit off guard. He cocked his head slightly at the mention of the wager and before he could responds, others chimed in on the bet and began backing either Naz or Zero. Great he thought to himself, this escalated quickly. He pondered further as the comments continued.**
“Hey Ellis, whats the area where they are hidden out like? Highly Urban or a bit spread out.”
**Zero asked, knowing if the answer was spread out then he’d have a clear edge, but an urban area might really put some pressure on his abilities, especially if Naz was as good as he was boasting.
Zero resumed his gaze outward as he kept his position and a watchful eye outward on the left flank while they continued their approach towards the mission zone. Though a free hand did reach down and patted a slim spot on his belt. The crystal inside had been a prize of his from his rogue time working on his search. He knew it still held clues but he suspect it was a most valed item aside from the ship, he ran a finger over the small canister concealing the crystal before he resumed his posture with his hands at the ready and awaiting Ellis' reply.**

E: It’s more urban, industrial than rolling hills and wide open space. There’s several buildings above ten stories high, a few smaller stores, relatively open avenues if you wanted to give that sniper rifle a run out.
He motioned to the weapon in Zero’s possession.
E: The passage ways between the smaller buildings are relatively narrow in comparison. The canal running down the south-western side might provide somewhat of a challenge but no submersibles or boats have been detected in the area. I think waterborne transportation would draw a little more attention than they’d like given the state of the buildings in the area. Many have been abandoned for years. Spice merchants have been known to operate in the area which certainly doesn’t help the resale value.

**Zero thought for a moment, then sped up to run even with Ellis.**
“I’ll take bet on myself up by 3, I’d go more if it was a rural area, but an open street provides me enough space to close this out no problem.”
**Zero remarked before leaning in to Ellis and remarked slightly hushed**
“I’ll make a side wager that Rina tags me with Naz for scouting duty, bet is a favor.”
**Zero wondered how far he could push this to but still make it bearable for he and Naz to work together as he had no doubt that his sister would pair the two up as a result of the obvious animosity. He started to remember growing up, how they always hated being in the same classes bcause of how competitive they both were, and it always happened that anytime they fought their instructors always made them work together. He was greatful after the fact because he and his sister only knew each other that much better. He inhaled deeply and resumed his post, this was still after all hostile territory and he needed to keep an eye out. He sighed in his buy’ce the sound concealed within as he wondered how much longer he would have to keep up this identity, with his sister around how much longer could he keep it up? Achyan felt deep in his heart that soon he would have answers, and soon this ordeal would be over.**

Naz scoffed; he couldn’t help but wonder if Zero really was as good a shot as he made himself out to be or if he was just incredibly full of himself. It was only when Jax called his name that he was snapped from his thoughts. With a shrug he threw his arms out to the sides.
N: By three? Alright, I’ll even give you a two shot head start, I’m just that fucking nice.
He took a step towards Zero in a misguided attempt to intimidate him. Sacha stopped him and pushed him back through the grass back onto their original path. Rina looked back at them all then followed behind them both.
Ellis looked at Zero, his head cocked to one side. He figured there was no way that Rina would put them together unsupervised. Not after that little exchange; no way at all and although Rina did have a habit of surprising them, even he didn’t think she was that crazy. Confident, he nodded but stipulated one condition.
E: So long as this favour doesn’t involve potentially losing a limb. I may be a tech-guy but I’d rather not go through the rest of my days as some kind of cyborg.

Agreed
**Zero remarked to Ellis then shifted back seamlessly into formation. He silently turned away from the step up. He noted the postuing and stared for a few seconds but was unphased and this was just enough to antagonize Naz without starting an altercation...yet. Achyan smirked inside of his black buy'ce knowing that Ellis would soon owe him a favor and perhaps some answers would soon be forthcoming. Carbine positioned outward, Zero moved back into his patrol mentality as they neared the operational zone up ahead and shimmering lights grew closer as they approached the city**
Any local customs or laws pop up as flags?
**Zero remarked as they continued onward under the cover of darkness.**

R: The area we’re heading to is pretty lawless in some respects. Local officials have struggled for years to maintain a firm hold on it in light of the region’s economic collapse. Other districts had other industries to fall back on but this one seems to have slipped further and further into decay. Local gangs peddling everything from Spice to counterfeit deathsticks, credit chips and women, have been known to frequent the area but there’s been no movement of any real significance as of late, which is probably why this area has been snapped up. It’s strange in that there’s more activity than normal but not enough to draw any unwanted attention. Like I said a pretty ideal place to plan an offensive. If I was going to do it, I’d do it from here. You’ve got everything you need. It’s near perfect.
Rina let the comment hang for a moment as they approached the outer limits of the city. The lights shimmered in the heat that radiated skywards from the ground. They were just over two kilometres from their destination when Rina stood aside and motioned for Ellis to lead the way. The group proceeded slowly through the grass as it became shorter and shorter and the ground firmed up beneath their boots. Asphalt replaced soil and the remnants of warehouses leaned hap-hazardly. Rina didn’t need to remind the rest of the team to keep their guard up; instinct had long since kicked in and the safeties were already off their collection of weapons.
Ellis led them down a narrow street with several flickering orange lights. The heavily graphited walls loomed over them and Jax couldn’t help but feel they were being watched. They probably were but for now they were in no immediate danger. A warm breeze kicked up litter and tumbled it between their legs. The group of Mandalorian soldiers scanned high and low through their scopes, their fingers poised ready. They halted behind Ellis, maintaining the perimeter as he banged once against a solid metal door spray-painted with illegible slogans and tags. There was a moment of silence followed by the sound of bolts drawing back against the metallic surface. The door opened to reveal a humanoid female in her late forties; tired green eyes, white wiry hair, clothes stained with oil and dirt. She eyed them with caution but when she saw the scarred snake head emblem on Ellis’ shoulder she stood aside, granting them entrance to the building. Ellis passed her with a nod as did everyone else as they filtered single file into the seemingly derelict building.
A long dark corridor lead to the main floor which was certainly big enough for use as a base of sorts. In the centre, a large wooden table constructed of old planks, wooden crates and scaffolding poles stood covered in scraps of paper with dates and times scribbled into them, photographs and data pads. An old holo-projector sat atop the table, its green glow illuminating the otherwise gloomy room. The map it displayed was the same as what Ellis had shown the group back on Concord Dawn. Small red dots moved slowly about it, merging with larger pulsating lights then breaking away. Personnel movements.
Rina entered behind Ellis, Naz, Sacha and Jax. She dropped her bag into the corner then waited for the group to stow their gear and join her at the table. She removed her buy’ce, setting it beside her blaster and began flicking through the scraps of paper and photographs. All the others followed suit, except Zero. The older woman looked quizzically at him then to Rina and Ellis. Rina shook her head in dismissal of her concerns and continued looking through the surveillance data that had been gathered.
R: What do we got?

**Achyan followed the group, but as they neared the city, he drifted even further from them and split into the shadows, his mantle black beskar’gam helping him move unseen, and only lightly armed and lightly armored, he made even less noise than the rest of the group too. He focused intently, as this was the crucial time where they did not want to give away their presence and especially their numbers. Zero breathed deeply and focused his mind and body, making every movement of his body intentional. He kept his head up and constantly swaying side to side as he scanned the area while he guarded the left flank. He had one of the S-5’s already loaded with an ascension cable if he should need to get up and onto a roof quickly and quietly.
Zero followed in loose formation to the safehouse and under the cover of the shadows, placed a small motion detector in the alley across from the safehouse. This would a pivotal spot should their presence have been noted and he wanted to be sure they had control of for now.
Achyan followed the rest of the group inside and stayed in full tactical gear. He was now pushing all emotion out of his head as this was business and he needed to focus solely on actions and reactions in this hotzone so they could be sure that all of them went home safely. Zero had longed for the challenges and tests that came with a unit, he had not realized how much he had longed for until just this moment, but like his other emotions it had to be put aside while he watched and listened intently to the plans and layout. He started taking mental notes of the buildings and which ones would be good for snipers and which would not. He also needed to be sure to clear and check some of these for enemy scout and snipers too, something that posed him even greater challenge as it now fell into a giant Sabaac game about to be played out on the streets of the city. 30 pieces vs. 8 but the true measure of victory was reliant upon information and that was up to the entire team to work on and trust in each other.**
“I can’t cover all of these buildings from a single vantage point. If you all brought enough explosives, leveling a few buildings here and here”
**He pointed to two large buildings which were warehouses that were large and cumbersome and provided no tactical benefit or layout and would only impede the groups speed and accuracy in a firefght.**
“would likely buy us some time, create some confusion, and allow better coverage in the corresponding zones.”
**Achyan kept all biting comments to himself, as now the entire mood and mentality was down to business**

R: An orchestrated explosion could work. It would draw them out no doubt. Explosions on three sides to funnel them into the direction we want them. With every plan there’s no guarantee it would work but that doesn’t mean I’m willing to rule it out entirely. They seem to be concentrated here.
Rina pointed to a large warehouse, six stories high; open plan factory floor split over two levels with office space above. It was flanked on two sides by a cluster of smaller buildings, a mix of single and double story buildings formally trading posts and stores.
R: All bets aside, you aren’t expected to take these men out on your own Zero. There’s no I in team.
N: But there is in di’kut.
Naz mumbled. Rina shot him an admonishing look. He knew straight away that he had spoken out of turn and offered his apologies accordingly. R: We’ll systematically sweep the streets and adjacent buildings. The unnamed human female moved around the table, looking at them all before standing between Rina and Ellis. She leaned forward, palms resting on the worn wood.
HF: Whilst their numbers hold steady there’s no telling if they have bribed the other denizens. Those that remain here are desperate, they long for something more than this meagre existence. They have nothing and these mandalorians have preyed upon that.
A: These men are aruetyc not mando’ad. It would be wise of you not to confuse the two.
Aaeron warned. The woman bowed her head apologetically and was about to carry on when Rina continued.
R: If anyone you encounter reaches for a weapon or a communications device then take them out. By any means necessary if you have to. Jax, how many fireworks did you bring?
J: Enough to put the Mand’alore’s election celebrations to shame. I stocked up on pretty much every type of explosive I could find; everything from Proximity Bombs to Sonic grenades, thermal imploders to ion torpedoes. A pretty decent number of smoke and flash grenades are in that small box over there. I even remembered to pack those incendiary devices you love so much.
Rina smiled and gave him a quick “well done” wink.
HF: The weapons they’ve been bringing in have mostly been via the two lambda class shuttles they have docked the other side of this warehouse.
She pointed to a warehouse three blocks to the north of their current location and two blocks west of the factory the rebels were using.
HF: There’s no discernible pattern to the arrivals and departures, so I can only assume they come and go as and when they need to.
E: We’ll need to take those shuttles out. Explosives could work but if we’re going to level those buildings, the shuttles could be overkill.
S: Unless we target the buildings around the shuttles and they’re just conveniently caught up in the cross fire?
E: If I could get near those ships, I could hack into the on-board systems and shut them down internally. The ships will appear undamaged, we can take out the buildings around where these aruetyc are hiding; drawing them out and funnelling them down to their ships where we’ll be waiting.
Rina listened to the discussion and exchange of ideas while her eyes remained fixed on the map floating in front of her. Her gloved fingers drummed rhythmically against the paper as she worked out the details in her head.
R: These smaller buildings, what were they?
HF: They were once textile mills but most recently a spice den of sorts. They made their own on site in the basement with addicts using the floors above.
A: Did they know they were sitting on top of a lab?
The white haired woman shook her head with a slight shrug. HF: I don’t think so. If they did then it was all kept very hush hush.
R: Any of the kit still there?
HF: I think so.
R: Jax, Ellis, take a drone and go scout it out. See if there’s any chance we can rig that place to explode; make it seem like careless cooks moving in rather than us looking to flush the pipework.
Jax nodded and grabbed his helm and blaster as Ellis retrieved the spherical drone-esque device from its case as well as two long, flowing brown swaths of cloth. Ellis tossed one to Jax as he draped one over his own head and down his back, concealing his armour.
E: As great as we look, we’ll stick out like a sore thumb the closer we get.
Jax agreed and covered his own beskar’gam, then without further instruction the two headed out.
Myrina picked up a stack of photographs and scanned through them quickly. There were a few faces she recognised from the Academy but they were just faces rather than people she considered brothers.
R: Who’s the head of this snake?
The humanoid female reached over and took the collection of images from her; she shuffled through them until she found the one she was looking for. She tossed the stack back onto the table and handed the lone photographer to Myrina.
HF: This guy appears too clean cut compared to the rest of them. In all the time I’ve been watching him, I’ve never once seen him get his hands dirty. My guess; he’s held positions of power or importance in the past and would rather ride the horse than shovel its shit.
Rina handed the photo around the group. She didn’t recognise him at all but that’s not to say one of the others didn’t. He looked to be in his mid to late thirties, clean shaven, well kept. His height was hard to determine from the angle of the photograph but it was in the region of six feet give or take a few inches. His armour was black, hardly damaged. He had an air of untouchability about him; which when coupled with the nature of his crimes only made her hate him more.

**Zero stepped up after Naz and Ellis had left so he could survey better.**
"Don’t blow the shuttles in the initial explosions. If they think the shuttles are still operational, then that’s where they will go. We can use some explosives along the side streets and cover the alleys to funnel them straight to their ships and then take them out in bulk at the hanger. If we can clear the hanger and set up before starting the party, then we can herd the osiks right into a fire trap. With only two shuttles, if we can confuse them and keep them disoriented enough we can push them along with minimal risks to ourselves or others, and keep the firefight off the main streets helping curb any civilian entanglements regardless of allegiance."
**He looked up and at the rest.**
"I won’t need the larger buildings cleared then, I can set up on the corner here and keep pushing them down the street towards the rest of you. "
**Zero pointed to an overhang a block away from the warehouse, he would have vantage all the way up the street.**
"From here I can flush them down the street unless they bring out something large enough to take out a sniper perch. I’ll place a few explosives beneath me to keep them from venturing off the path. Do we know anything of patrols or are they pretty oblivious to the surroundings?"
**Zero asked, already figuring out where he wanted to set up the motion detectors to help keep himself and the others safe. He knew that in his beskar’gam he would stick out like the others, but that came later. As he listened further he began opening his bag and started to prep and pull out the items he would need as this next phase would be even more specific as to his needs. He checked the mags, and set the detectors aside as he needed to venture out on patrol later to place those and double check an access point to his planned perch.**

R: You’ve not been dismissed yet soldier.
Rina called as Zero set about making his own arrangements. She wouldn’t take any of the others sauntering off without express orders and she wouldn’t be taking it from him either. The final plan had yet to be agreed upon and there were still plenty of avenues to explore. Naz quickly glanced from Rina to Zero with a smirk that was hidden swiftly behind a cough. Rina shot him a sideways glance and then continued.
R: Prep wise, we’ll move through the buildings in two teams
N: What about anyone we encounter?
R: If they’re a threat, eliminate them.
N: What if they’re not?
A: They’ll be too high to know what’s really going on and they’ll wander off under their own steam before shit kicks off.
N: What if they don’t?
A: Since when have you cared about a bunch of tweekers?
R: Ladies, if you’ve quite finished?
Rina asked with a sternness that could rival her father’s. She stood slightly facing them, her hip resting against the table, her arms folded across her chest. Once they had quietened down to her satisfaction, she continued.
R: Once secured, explosives that can be remotely detonated will be placed against structural columns and doorways. Side streets and alleyways will be primed with proximity bombs, flame throwers and trip wires so if anyone veers off course, they won’t make it out alive. The charges inside the buildings will be linked to one central control point with one man responsible for detonation but only on the command of the team leader as they clear the rooftops above the street. The explosions ripping in from either side should offer no means of retreat. We’ll funnel them down to the shuttles that Ellis would have already incapacitated. Zero can pick them off one by one from his nest as they approach from the warehouse. We’ll have teams at roof and ground levels providing cover fire. Those that make it as far as the shuttles will meet our … justice.
There was a beep from the com on her wrist accompanied by a small blue flashing light; a secure channel. Jax. She tapped the button beside it and spoke.
R: What are we looking at?
She turned the volume up so the whole group could hear.
J: Jackpot.
He said with reserved but evident enthusiasm.
J: I’m surprised no one has raided this place sooner. There’s everything you need here to make a shit ton of credits but the idiots on the upper levels seem too stoned to know their asses from their elbows. It would be easy enough to pin this on them. Me and the boy can be inside and working within minutes.
R: Get back here. I need Ellis to disable those shuttles and I’d rather that little hellhole be the last thing on our list to do. I’ll brief you both on the rest of the plan when you get back.
J: Understood.
The com-line between the two disconnected and the blue light on her wrist ceased to flash. She looked up at everyone else.
R: Any questions?

**Zero stopped what he was doing and the direct remark to him caught him off guard. He had to immediately suppress his desire to make a snarky remark to his sister, as it would give things away and be completely out of place. Taking a deep breath once more, Achyan set the equipment down and turned back towards the tables once again and listened as the plan was finalized. He nodded his understanding and agreement with the prep work.
Achyan’s head tilted slightly at the authority of Rina. His older sister reminded him heavily of their father in her command and demeanor. She was much better suited for command than he, and he was really starting to see and respect that more with each passing moment.
Zero took note of the spice den explosives. He made a mental note to bring an extra air purifier for his beskar as spices and smoke would be hell on the breather and that was not something he could afford to go wrong. He also would need infared sights to find targets through the smoke, though the explosives would make the endeavor just that much more challenging, but a fun challenge nonetheless.**
"Don’t expect them to act rationally if we blow the spice den first, like commander said, shoot first."
**Zero added in to the others, wanting to add in that reminder that depending upon the spices it could turn the mercs into chaotic armed targets.**
"Obviously we have this fallback point, is there a regroup rally point should something go awry?"
**Zero remarked as he was the newest member and wanting to be sure he understood the team dynamics and wanting to be a seamless transition into the group.**
