Description:
The TIE/fr Freighter is a new design produced by the First Order utilizing TIE technology to move goods and people. It features a 20 meter long cockpit and crew area, followed by a tail which runs over the top of a detachable Cargo Pod. Solar Panel wings extend out from just in front of the Cargo Pod. The Cargo Pods can come in one of two configurations: the first being a freighter module which can hold 7945 tons of cargo, the second is a passenger module which can carry 8,250 people (standing room only. No bunks or amenities).
The TIE/fr featured heavy armour plating and shielding to protect itself and its cargo, with 1 Dual Laser Cannon Turret and 2 Chin Mounted Laser Cannons as its only method for firing at attacking craft.
