Gladiator III-class Star DestroyerShip Class: Cruiser Ship Role: Carrier/Destroyer Ship Length: 650 meters Agility (A): 2 Defensive (D): 3 Offensive (O): 4 Speed (S): 4 Special Gear: 2 (Gravity Wells, Hangar Space) Description:The Gladiator III-class Star Destroyer comes at the latest in the Gladiator-class Star Destroyer line. While retaining the same overall silouhette as the first two Gladiator series designs, the Gladiator III had a number of important changes in its design. One of the first being that it had 50 additional meters of length, which provided the additional frame length necessary to house the 2 Gravity Well Generators that were located on either side of the bridge. Additionally, the Gladiator III had a pair keel extensions located at the bow of the ship which featured three additional engines and provided space for weapon emplacements. Unlike its predecessors, the Gladiator III had an all new weapons load out, providing new offensive capabilities for the Star Destroyer. Shield generators and standard armour plating provided the Gladiator with a decent defence. As part of the redesign of the ship, additional hangar space was made to house 5 Squadrons of Starfighters (60 Starfighters total), which could enter and exit the ship through the primary hangar bay or the additional side hangar bays. All of the hangar bays were connected via lifts and starfighter conveyor systems. What this meant, however, was that the Gladiator III was only able to house a force of 200 Soldiers onboard. This meant they had to serve double duty repelling boarders and boarding enemy ships. With the total weapon count at 340, this is easily a 5 considering its a Cruiser class.
Just as a comparison, the Gladiator II has 24 turbolaser where this has 48. It also carries only 20 laser cannons where this has 256 lasers. This also includes the ion cannons and 24 bomblet genarators where the only additional armament the II has is 10 missile tubes.

So, I had a feeling the Offensive number might come up. The reason I set it at a 3, at least as an initial starting point, is that having a look at other ships in the O:4 range you have this: Kirin-Class Cruiser 15 dual turbolaser batteries (90 dual turbolasers) 10 heavy ion cannon batteries (60 Heavy Ion Cannons) 20 point defense cannons 4 missile launchers
MC 50-class Frigate 16 heavy turbolaser turrets 8 concussion missile launchers 27 twin laser cannons 25 medium ion cannons
Serratus-class Assault Cruiser 40 Turbolaser Cannons 20 Ion Cannons 30 Quad Laser Cannons 10 Missile Launchers
then in the O:5 range, we only have the Starmane with: 4 long range turbolaser batteries, 6 missile launch tubes, 20 quadlaser cannon emplacements, 10 Point Defense Quad Concussion Missile Emplacements and 25 point defense turrets
all of which, at least from a glance at their weapon counts, and the kinds of weapons they are fielding, somewhat outgun this. I could foresee a push up to a 4, but a 5 seems a bit strong for this...

Well, when it comes to turbolaser counts, only the Kirin has more (180 total.) ion cannons, any that have any are one target for what you have except for Kirin once again which is much higher. None of them come close to the 256 lasers you have here. And when it comes to missiles and bombs, most sit at ten or less except for the Starmane which has 40.
I feel that the Gladiator III easily competes or outguns many of these. The only real questionable one being the Kirin which still doesn’t have the number count yours does bu gets close. It would definitely need to be bumped. Anything around the 150 range hits 3 offense on Star Frigates.
Also the Starmane has 4 mass driver cannons is the reason it is ranked higher when the rest of its armament is lower.

Halved the laser cannon count and adjusted up to a 4 in Offense.
