A Smuggler, a Jedi, and a Farmer walk into a Cantina...

Welcome back! Glad to see old players making a return.

There have certainly been some changes since the older days. The First Order has risen up and taken charge where the older Empire's and Sith orders have failed and is carrying a strong presence throughout the galaxy, thanks to the mind and might of Nicademus Delvardus IV. Within their ranks lie the Knights of Ren, now being led by the Master of the Ren Harnan Ren. They work as the Sword of the First Order as the Imperial Knights function as the shield. The grandmaster is Faina Delvardus as well as Empress with her second in command being Brock Ferrum

The Sith haven't faded away, though, as they work in towards a new mindset of unity among their comrades as they seek to improve themselves over the past and failed orders to become to most powerful and feared group within the galaxy. I introduce the Blackguard Reborn on their way to becoming the Blackguard Imperium lead by Viox Savage and his second in command Darth Malvus

Allied with them, still young and small, but ambitious in growing to greater heights is the Dark Jedi Order. Allied with the Blackguard, it is led by The Fallen and his second in command @mariahshadows

When it comes to the light, the Jedi still thrive despite the assaults of the Sith. Situated mostly on Felucia, Aerandir Calmcacil leads the Jedi as its Grandmaster. But it's not the only group that serves the Light as Jedi. More militarized, there are the Jedi Lords that also exist, the higher-ranked members being Everett Stone and Lucien Malvern

With the First Order's defeat of the Galactic Alliance, it has almost completely faded away. However, the fight isn't lost as new groups have risen up from those ashes. Namely, the Corellian Coalition. At the head of the table is Marcus Starmane [RETIRED], though others help lead the charge, such as Graemon Gorgano. Among them is the Knights of Karabor, a group of Force-sensitives that seek balance and not afraid to battle the Jedi or Sith. They are led by Zion Morviael [RETIRED]

Other factions continue to thrive as well such as the mysterious Organization that seeks to cleanse the galaxy of the blight that is Force-sensitives as they believe that the Force is a power none are worthy to wield and that the Jedi and Sith and all those sub-factions are the root cause for so many wars and losses throughout the ages. Hidden in shadows, it is headed by the The Elusive Man. Don't think about finding them. It is they who will find you.

Yet, crime and villainy, as well as the occasional smuggler groups run throughout the wild spaces of the galaxy, striking at you when you least expect it. These range from the Hutt Cartel led by Zordo The Hutt. Then the is the Ti Syndicate, led by Kian Ti. Also rising up is the Fortunate Sun, led by the mysterious Scar. There is also the crew of The Renegade led by Jack Morgan.

Perhaps a little fun is in your agenda? Perhaps Zeltros is your place. You can find the traditional fun and enjoyment as Zeltros intended under the rule of the @zeltronroyalty or seek out the Cult of Relvery, a dark side cult led by @lordhedonist

Perhaps the darkness calls to you in a way the Sith can't satisfy? Then there is the Quarren Dominion, a sect built upon Lovecraftian horrors as they follow the Way of the Dark led by Prophet C'thyl.

And we can't forget those older Imperials who still refuse to believe and join the likes of the First Order. Welcome to The Solenbaran Diarchy, led by Atash S. Torkan.

I'll take a look around and see if I can find a place to write in a smuggler, and potentially come into contact with a suitable McGuffin for a merry chase. Has Batuu been added to the boards?

Part of me was hoping to start on Batuu, but I think that mostly comes from visiting Disney World recently XD

Would anyone's faction be interested in something like a collection of Kyber Crystals, maybe something of higher than normal quality or of particular non-canon historical significance?

My initial plan was for Anjylla to wake up after a night of cards and drinking, find she won some fuel money and a key to a safe deposit box. Inside said deposit box is part of the Kyber shipment.

Then again, having her already on the run and knowing what's inside the cargo hold has its own kind of fun too. Especially now that the Republic is no more. She wouldn't know the first place to take them and get a pay out to deal with the syndicate she lifted her ship from...

I may not write "the heist" right off the bat, but the immediate aftermath. I'm going to wait and see if anyone else wants to jump on this small scale adventure, then start writing it up. But I'm absolutely keen on grabbing a box from Ilum on the sly and running as fast as she can.

I'm 90% certain Anjylla won't know the ins and outs of the Kyber Crystals- she probably thinks it's a box of spice (or maybe she was supposed to actually get spice and the packages got switched) and just knows she's not getting caught, and once she finds out, she can't just pawn them at a local jeweler and get more than a few bucks. Like stealing the Mona Lisa- congratulations. Now find someone who wants that level of heat on them.

I like it... I like it a lot! Will take a look at some planets for the handoff (unless you have a particular suggestion)!

If you're looking for someone to write the buyer, I'd certainly be up for volunteering Berrick for the job. He knows a few groups that would have a use for Kyber Crystals if you can get free of the First Order.

Also, if you want, we can write out the card game. That way, I can play a little backstory for it with the crew landing and trying to figure out what to do in ditching the ship and the supply of crystals they got before the FO catches up.
