Name of Location: The Oasis

Reason for Request:
- The Oasis is an extremely wealthy urban metropolis in space, with a fierce devotion to its independence and more importantly its neutrality. It will house major mining offices for the companies that strip mine the asteroids around them (thus characters who work for or with mining companies would be perfect for this, but your everyday miners would not be living on the station - it will be all your executives and such people as that). It will also house a good quantity of the rich and famous from across the galaxy who wish to see their accounts be safe in times of war (and in correlation with this have an even stronger financial sector, which shall constitute the bulk of its economy). Lastly, it was all have a sizable tourism industry, due to the fact that it’s an ultra rich paradise in space. Other such residents would be people working for the government or one of the various megacorporations.
In not so many words, it's meant to be a fun place for all members of all factions to come and RP.
Star Wars has had a number of major space stations (the Wheel, the Ring of Kafrene, etc.) which have played host to a vast number of extremely interesting events, as well as a very unique feeling, due to the fact that it is a space station, as opposed to an actual planet. Likewise, it would also help facilitate more neutral RP, due to the fact that the station does not require nearly as large an army to control. Therefore, this means that the station will be more suited to the RP that would go on here.
The other types of characters who would visit would definitely be people who are either in charge of or staffing foreign embassies here. I am hoping we can form a thriving set of embassies, who conduct espionage on each other and/or the ring itself, while trying to keep out of trouble, lest they cause trouble with the city government, and get the city to break its neutrality and side with the other side. People on vacation would also constitute the type of people who come here.
The station is meant to play host to lots of RP over a great deal of time, and is supposed to play part as a neutral station, and therefore a temporary location would interfere with such long-standing neutrality plans, as well as could stop the creation of a lot of good RP on the station.
There has been discussion surrounding this in the RPA channel on discord, which any of the RPAs and you Whills would likely be aware of. Furthermore, as indicated in this request's previous general RP location request post, the amount of likes is very clearly demonstrable of generated interest. Finally, the RP planning thread has received a considerable amount of attention despite its relatively short existence, and several people have come to me in DMs stating they would like to create characters.
