Description:
The Starmane was built to assault enemy ship formations from a distance. It was equipped with improved targeting systems to help guide its main armament: 4 front facing mass driver cannons. The ship also boasted 4 long range turbolaser batteries, 6 missile launch tubes, 20 quadlaser cannon emplacements, 10 Point Defense Quad Concussion Missile Emplacements and 25 point defense turrets.
The ship was not built for speed, or to be in the thick of the fighting. To that end, armor, shields, and speed were all sacrificed. Agility was maintained so that realigning for shots did not cost too much time. Since she was mostly out of the way as is, the ship was also given larger hangers. It could carry up to 60 fighters to support the rest of the fleet, or defend itself.
