Named after the swift and fearsome predatory wasps on Archon, the Sfika was built to strike in great numbers, overwhelming foes with withering firepower, allowing bombers or heavy fighters to mop up after them. They were extremely fast and agile, well armed for their size but lightly shielded. The ship had no hyperdrive and was dependent on carriers or a base to launch from.
They had two modes: Flight, for greater speed, and attack mode, when they opened their stubby wings to reveal their armaments. These ships were a common inclusion in the Aldar and Jedi fleets due to their low cost, ease of maintenance and small size. Almost no fleet had less than a hundred or so of these fighters.
