Description:
The Kirin was commissioned to help support and protect Jedi assets being transported between their controlled worlds. A pretty straight forward design philosophy was put behind this ship: “Hit hard, be harder.” So this ship was equipped with redundant shield generators, that could be activated (at the cost of some weapons systems) mid battle to double the durability and recharge rate of it’s shields. An advanced targeting system was also installed so that every shot counted when it mattered. She could carry 150 troops and 36 starfighters to help defend.

The load out of the ship consisted of 15 dual turbolaser batteries, 10 heavy ion cannon batteries, 20 point defense cannons, 4 missile launchers, and 2 tractorbeam generators.
