Zaqar-class Communication Ship
Ship Class: Cruiser Class
Ship Role: Communication Vessel, Jammer Ship
Ship Length: 525 meters

Defensive (D): 2
Offensive (O): 1

Special Gear: 4 (Hangar Space, Advanced Sensors, Advanced Communication System, Advanced Jammering Systems)
Description:
Knowing, as many would say, is half the battle. The flow of information is crucial when both preparing for an offensive and in the midst of battle itself. The slightest miscommunication could spell the end for a soldier, a ship, a fleet, or a world. With this idea, The Aesir line was updated to include the Zaqar-class Communication Ship. The Swiss army knife of a fleet's information network, the Zaqar carried with it the best technology it could find regarding anything that relied on communication. From signals to holo communications, even computer displays for fighters, the ship was meant to enhance or interfere whatever it saw fit. With advanced communication systems, it sought to be the bridge among its own fleet, seeking to overpower an enemy's jamming systems. Advanced sensors systems kept it in the know about incoming ships or distant signals much sooner than the average, granting further prep or response time. And with its advanced jammers, it worked to disrupt how well its enemies could receive information, either slowing down its flow or rendering it completely useless. All this was aided by the large towers that protruded from the ship, housing all necessary antenna and equipment
With time focused upon these features and making sure they functioned at their best at all times, the armor was reduced so as to allow it to move about from place to place faster. To keep most of its power directed to its primary function, its weapon loadout was lessened as well. Carrying only twenty quad laser cannons, it was easy pickings in a fight. This wasn't considered a problem when factoring its other systems, which allowed it to function from a distance. In times when having to fend of fighters when making a retreat, it carried a total of twenty-four starfighters.
