The RI-500 Corvette was designed and manufactured by Renegade Industries to act as an Escort vessel for the RI Outpost ships. The RI-500 Corvette is armed with a single turbolaser cannon on it's top as well as two small proton missile launchers and a slightly larger proton missile launcher also on the top of the ship. The two smaller launchers can hold four missiles each, while the larger one can hold eight, The RI-500 has reinforced armor plating as well as deflector shields. While not as quick as the RI Scout ship, the RI-500 Corvette can also serve the purpose as the scout ship.
