Designed by The Organization and built by Aegohr Manufacturing, the Megiddo was specifically designed as an 'artillery' ship, capable of hitting large targets at ranges previously though impossible. The main cannon is a variant of a Mass Driver Cannon, specifically a rail gun. Built around the monstrosity, the Megiddo was incredibly slow and sluggish, relying on its fighter complement and other ships for support more than any other vessel within the Organization's Fleet. Carrying 24 starfighters for both defense and target marking, the Megiddo carried 2,500 soldiers to aid in repelling boarders as well as assisting in ground assaults. Because of the main weapon, this ship had a cargo capacity of 50,000 metric tons. Other armaments consisted of 20 twin medium Turbolaser Cannons and 20 point defense laser cannons to protect against enemy starfighters and incoming projectiles.
