Through the duration of the trip, Krokaa had been thinking over the information they had gathered and what awaited them on their first world. It was when they arrived that the Zabrak made his way over Geralt and looked at the planet.
"So what do you think? Should we worry about the other hunters? Should we face them first or the Vornskr?" Geralt had spent the majority of the trip talking with Nidana and his sister, Lizbeth. His mind had already developed part of a plan to tackle their first portion of the hunt. The ID10 Seeker Droids hovering about, monitoring each of them was mildly distracting, but they observed silently, so he was able to tune it out. As Nidana got up and left, Krokaa approached. Eyes lingering on Nidana's slender, lithe frame a few moments longer than necessary, he looked to the Zabrak as he asked his question."I've given it some thought, actually. There certainly are enough of us present that we could tackle both problems simultaneously."The young man looked to the Zabrak to see what his initial response would be. Honestly, he had no interest in hunting animals, regardless of how challenging the might be. He was more interested in the rogue hunters. And, provided the Redjack would give them more information, he was already forming an outline on how to deal with them.

Eyes closed, sitting cross-legged on the floor a few meters away from her brother, Lizbeth allowed the currents of the Force to caress her mind, granting her a sense of calm and allowing her to focus on the task ahead. As Krokaa approached and began discussing their strategy, Lizbeth merely listened to what was being discussed while still partially meditating. If both Krokaa and Geralt could come to an agreement, then she would need her strength for what was to come...

Krokaa listened as Geralt seemed to have a plan as to what they should do. It seemed a little dicey in his mind, trying to take on both the hunters and Vornskr at the same time. Granted, there were fifteen of them so there were more than enough to split into two groups. But he was cautious, not wanting to risk their lives by jumping in all gung-ho. They were strong and he was confident in his and everyone's abilities. Yet, this was something new to all of them. All their training up to this point had carried a sense of safety. The risk, Krokaa realized, of Gavin's training. Despite training with each other, facing older students, or even Gavin himself, death wasn't something that was waiting for them. Then again, facing the stronger students and Gavin did account for something. It was worth trusting in what they knew. Still, there was still extra knowledge that could be gained from the Redjack about the other hunters before they made out the full extent of their strategy.
"What do you have in mind? I think it might be a smarter choice to eliminate the rogue hunters first, then the Vornskr. Then again, there are fifteen of us making five groups of three. Thera and Cinnik have their skills in Force Stasis, Kree has her illusions, Kira has her Battle Meditation and barrier skills. Lizbeth, I believe, also has her growing mental prowess and Raara has come quite a ways in manipulating the wind. I'd say more than enough ways to handle both groups. He then turned to the Redjack. "What can you tell us about the rogue hunters?" While each of them was growing strong in their abilities, he had called out those who possessed skills that could shift the battle in their favor in a number of ways outside of sheer strength.

Being posed a direct question, the Arcite 3A-03 replied in kind."The rogue hunters are a Rodian, Zeep Fai and a Devaronian, Nomellec Chik. Well known mercenaries from the Outer Rim Territories. Wanted in seven systems for murder as well as theft and drug trafficking, Fai and Chik are armed and dangerous. UPDATE: The Ajuur Cartel has placed a bounty on both Zeep Fai and Nomellec Chik. While the reward is unknown at this time, collecting on the bounty will improve your standing on the Hunt leaderboards. Extreme Caution is advised. Is there anything else you wish to know?"Since leaving Nal Hutta, information had been updated as the Cartel provided it. Normally using their networks for other purposes, given the publicity that the Great Hunt brought in, The Organization pushed for the Cartel to utilize its networks to keep the hunters informed.

Krokaa listened as the Redjack provided more information regarding the duo. A dangerous pair to be sure. They could split into different groups and take out both an kill two birds with one stone, though he still preferred the safer option. And considering that it was now less of dealing with a hinderance and more towards granting them more points in this hunt, taking them down was much more appealing.
As he waited for Geralt's response, he thought on possible formations should they decided to break into two groups. What team would be more effective where? How many for each team? Considering he and Geralt were both in charge of this, they would be leading them. But who would go where? Considering that both Theranna and Cinnik both possessed abilities to freeze opponents, they could be split, or put on the hunter team so they both could stop a hunter each. Duvrax in his greater power would serve better against the hunters. Kosrezic's illusions also could work against them as well as her, Theranna, and Raara's limber frames could be effective against the speed of the Vornskr. Prakira would work either way as would Nidana, while Lizbeth's growing mental prowess could be used against the hunters. That just left Elysta, Cayne, Xar, Zul, and Carvish. All capable warrior that could be effective in either battlefield.

High Orbit, Myrkr.Walker now inside of the Shuttle provided by a Myrkr Sector Ranger entered in the coordinates that were on the datapad. He wished that the man wasn't lying to him and that he could really find some work at this Port Town. With that Walker engaged the hyperdrive and disappeared from Myrkr's Orbit.

Two squadrons of small craft, Starviper fighters and Bes'uliik attack craft of Clan Australis remain on patrol above Myrkr, ensuring cover for the Clan Australis transports and freighters currently transporting cargo to the ground.

Myrkr System - Present Day
A D-5 Mantis patrol craft exits Hyperspace above the jungle world of Myrkr. The vessel's pilot, an 18 year old human male who went by the name of Vevut, pulled his ship into orbit and looked down over the planet. It looked different than he remembered, but somehow, the same, as if centuries and the passage of the galaxy had passed it by.
Home. As close to it as he had.
Traffic was heavy on the approach. He could see at least a dozen freighters that had to be hauling heavy cargo making runs down from even heavier transports that waited in orbit. His father's work, no doubt.
Clan Australis' HQ on the world was broadcasting, he saw, and he linked in via his own craft's IFF, silently accessing the command network. The DNA passcode was matched to the Alor of the Clan, with whom Vevut happened to share a perfectly exact copy of genome. The young Australis used the override sparingly so as not to alert his father or the ever alert Twi'lek that handled intelligence for the Clan.
Vevut watched a minelayer begin its work in orbit, sewing passive defences for the planet that would only be relevant in a direct, large scale assault. That was the mark of Clan Australis. If you wanted to attack them, you had to do it the hard way. Finding a path between two descending freighters, he slipped the patrol craft into a descent pattern towards Hyllyard City, and the new base.
He had his own mission to accomplish here.

Asteroid tugs worked hard at their job in the outer system. Myrkr's star system was a relatively clean place, with just the one planet and one star. Thus the workers had needed to go out into interstellar space to find a free-floating asteroid of suitable size for the project they had been contracted to.
Once they had secured the large rocky mass, which was a rough sphere due to its size and minor gravitational field, techs got to work blasting the initial works to mount thrusters on the asteroid and allow it to be maneuvered more safely by the tugs for its long journey back to Myrkr. Once this was done, the thrusters were tested, correcting the rock's spin and wobble to a more stable course.
Then the tugs resecured their tractor beams, towing the mass back towards the distant planet's orbit, where work could begin in earnest.
Clan Australis could have bought a space station or platform, but then others would have the plans to their station. Their way was longer, and more expensive, to be sure, but it made for excellent security. This free floating rock would become an orbital station, trading post, and marketplace servicing the Myrkr system, allowing traders to come in and out without needing to descend to Hyllyard City. It would also be a fantastic place for Clan Australis to watch over Myrkr from above.

The Rock - Myrkr OrbitThe construction of the Clan Australis space station known as The Rock continued apace. With the asteroid towed into position, engineering works have created an internal structure within the very bedrock. At the very heart are power generators and the command and control sector. Outwards from there are the Clan's barracks and training facilities and storehouses. Outside this military zone is the much larger civilian part of the station. Construction is still underway and fitouts are far from complete, but the first docks are in operation, and the first cantina; the Mad Mythosaur, is open for business. Traffic is heavy, still mostly military construction, but there are some traders who have moved in to set up various businesses to cater to the troops and the engineers working on the station.
The Wet Deck - The Rock - Myrkr OrbitTrade is flowing here, and the noise is loud in the market sections, though large sections of the massive station remain uninhabited. Further areas remain uninhabitable, having not yet been made spaceworthy. Everything is under surveillance from the central command and control area, however there is no visible security. Myrkr has been established as a free port for all traders. Mad Mythosaur Cantina - Wet Deck - The Rock - Myrkr Orbit The Mad Mythosaur Cantina and Entertainment Complex, known as the Mad Mythosaur for short, is the liveliest place by far. Rowdy patrons drink and watch the galactic fightingtournament, with an almost reverent awe, momentarily silent, before erupting into cheers or objections and swearing depending on the result of the battle playing out in a massive central holodisplay, that shows the fighters as if they are battling in the center of the Cantina. The bar's workers are doing a roaring trade in tips to keep the ale flowing, as the crowd roars with delight or dismay.

Myrkr's system was not a crowded one in galactic terms, with just the single planet and primary star, with the single space station of The Rock swinging around in orbit above Hyllyard City. Ships, mostly commercial traffic, flowed in and out of the world, some taking the trip downside, others heading for the trading station in orbit.
Clan Australis's small but growing fleet was also in evidence. The battleship Invincible Reason had recently arrived from MandalMotors, and orbited near the station. Several brand new Myrkr-class escorts had joined it, coming up from the works down on Myrkr, or in from Mandalore and MandalArms' facilities there. Odd looking but capable Kyr'am Arpat-Class fightercraft flew patrol patterns in squadron formations, mostly training flights to acclimatize the Clan's pilots to the new craft.

Her lids cracked open blearily, her face smooshed into the embrace of high thread count cotton and down, her hair tangled and knotted in front of her eyes as she looked around the strange room. Her tongue moved over the dry surfaces of her mouth, her lips cracked from her her long period asleep. She could feel she was still dressed, though her shoes were removed, and she tried to think through the fog of a hangover that was one for the ages. The room was dim, and with effort she extracted her hand from under the covers to brush the rats nest of hair from her face. It was a lovely room, though it didn’t seem like a hotel. It was decorated handsomely but the touches were more personal, rather than being sterile and unobtrusive. The darkness of space looked back into the room with the pinpricks of light that were the twinkling of distant galaxies. Pushing the heavy covers off her, she turned over to see a pitcher of water and a bottle of painkillers on the nightstand. She was never that forward thinking about her own hangovers, so someone must have poured her into bed at some point. It just remained to be seen who that was. She poured a glass of water and downed a few pills to get herself going. She could smell the alcohol sweating from her pores, and through a haze she remembered drinking whiskey on Thyferra at a memorial service but surely that had been days ago, right? The intervening day or days were lost to her whiskey habit. She was too old for this, wasn’t she? Perhaps. It really didn’t matter as her head pounded and she swooned a little standing. To her relief, there was no one else in the room and she appears to have been put to bed alone as the other side of the king bed was pristine. A change of clothes that looked like casual wear in her size lay draped over the back of a chair. Some hair of the dog would be nice, but she carried her water glass with her as she started to move around. Peeling her clothes off, she stepped into the refresher to stand in the shower, letting the water pour over her head. Time had become meaningless as she leaned against the cool marble wall, juxtaposed with the hot water that turned her skin pink. When she could stand the shower no longer, she climbed out and dressed, drinking another glass of water to help bring herself back from the brink of drunkenness. She glanced at her weapons belt but decided against it, instead she padded quietly out of her room barefoot, and cradling the water glass to her as she investigated her surroundings.

Kaine encountered Lord Sinistra in the halls. If you're looking for Lamia, her Palace is this way. Kaine pointed down towards a guarded entrance, which led into Lamia's private and well appointed sanctuary aboard The Rock. I will be there later on. Kaine continued wandering off in the direction of the market district, where the entrance to the Mandalorian Covert lay.Lord Sinistra

Sitting aboard one of the several cargo ships that came in and out of the system every day was a lone Mandalorian man, silent as a temple gizka. Most of the crew hadn'teven noticed him aboard, which was wonderful, because he hadn'tpaid for the journey. Under dull, silver armor, unpainted, but with a flair of filigree around the neck and front of the helmet, was Duraanir Skirata. Truthfully, one could mistake all but the man's helmet for not being Mandalorian at all. Some plates overlapped, what were usually just shoulder plates were full pauldrons. A wide gorget went over the shoulders of the chest plate, far enough out that he could sink his helmet into in for a great level of protection. One of the few crewmen who had spotted him insisted on seeing an odd battle droid. As the ship shuddered and prepared to make it's docking procedure, Duraanir would prepare himself, checking over all his gear and making sure that his suit was sealed for the time being.

Things had gone smoothly, fairly quickly it seemed. With the go ahead from Duraanir, a Gozanti-class cruiser, dubbed Kara'yaim, dropped out of hypserspace. Onboard were roughly fourty-three souls, most of whom were Mandalorian. People were scrambling about to get ready as the crew brought the ship in to dock with the Rock.

A heavily modified but absolutely beat to hell YT-929 burped out of Hyperspace, a trail of black smoke barfing out the port side for aesthetics. It was a familiar ship, at one point feared. But now? A shell of it's former self. Behind the plasteel view panel sat a man in full armour, at one point in time black with red accents, now dull and weathered. On his back was strapped an ornate black Phrik sword, the Clan Australis sigil fading but visible. He had not been here in what felt like decades, but had more than likely only been a few years. he reached out and flicked the comm switch, his voice echoing out of his buy'ca.
"This is Ashrah of Clan Australis, former mand'alor and current exile requesting permission to land"
His voice cracked and seemed to stumble. He had not spoken for a very very long time, his self imposed exile after the disasterous war. He had heard that Kaine was back, and he felt need to speak to his old friend.

A kom'rk class fighter dropped out of hyperspace in a less than graceful manner. The ship seemed to have no course set. Its starboard engine completely off line while the port side made feble attempts to come back on line. Thick black smoke enveloped much of the ship.
Sparks and electrical arcs danced about the wings as the ship sat nearly motionless aside from whatever momentum it has from dropping out of hyperspace.
"You've got to be kidding me"
Calok exclaimed under his helmet. His frustration grew as he scanned through the controls and panels in the cockpit. Engines were gone, shields down to two percent, comms offline and his weapons were dead. He sighed and sank back into his seat, quiet for a brief moment before a fit of rage got the best of him. He kicked and smashed the controls frantically with his fist like a child demanding candy. That seemed to work as in doing so his comms and engines came back on line, though just barely.
He paused a second, confused by what just happened but his ship was now limping. It was a positive in his book, but long range communications were not going to happen. Calok ran a scan noticing a station not too far.
"Thats going to have to do for now... "
he said to himself. Throttling up and adjusting course for the Rock when suddenly a loud explosion off the portside. Expletives flew out of his mouth as the ship alerted him that his port engine too has completely failed and his starboard was again off line.
Calok got on his comms and activated his distress beacon, much to his displeasure.

Traffic control noted the distress beacon, and dispatched a barge to tow in the disabled fighter. A calm voice picked up on the comms line and sent a message. Greetings traveler. You are being taken to the Rock, where your ship will be docked for repairs. You may secure accommodations therein and resupply yourself while you wait on your ship. We welcome you to Myrkr, enjoy your stay. The barge had the ship into the Rock hangar within a half an hour, and Calok was free to explore the station soon after.Calok Warr
