Designed after a similar pattern as the Evorsio, the Velox was given a smaller, sleeker frame. This allows it to have greater speed and agility, making it capable of employing hit and run tactics and fast strike situations to pin down vessels until heavy hitters like the Evorsio and the Phaedra can arrive. Armed with 12 dual heavy turbolaser cannons, 14 dual point defense laser turrets, 4 concussion missile launchers, and 4 tractor beam projectors, its weaponry, like the Evorsio, is placed so that it can engage enemies in almost any position. Capable of carrying 12 starfighters and 1,200 troops.
