? Entry into Felucia's atmosphere proceeds without incident as the powered-down CloakShape fighter clearly remained undetected by vessels in orbit. It cannot, however, land without powering up; its hull, no matter how good, will disintegrate before that happens. So, as it begins to undergo rapid acceleration towards the surface, Argia makes his first movements apart from blinking since well before arriving from hyperspace in the system, and begins to seek out an appropriate location to set the ship down.
Some concerns about location relative to Felucia and his goals on planet bring up the following constraints: that the ship should be in an appropriately clear area, to avoid foliage-induced damage upon setting it down and to avoid losing the ship to potentially unstable ground; that the location should be relatively close to areas of high life density, which are likely to correspond to cities; and that it should be near a landmark, so that he can locate it easily when it is time to leave.
Such conditions are fulfilled, with the aid of Life Sense and eyesight, within the rotten trunk of a massive tree that has long since died, but still points towards the skies. With a little effort, maneuvering the CloakShape into the hollow Felucian tree is accomplished, providing Argia with nice cover for the fighter and no risk of entangling the engines with plants or any such mess associated with it. The location he has found is not far from a place, which he would later discover is the Jedi Base, where the life forms resonate strongly with Ashla's touch.
As he steps out from the cockpit, Argia realizes the oversight involved with putting the ship down here: that this tree, though rotten through the core and certainly wide enough to place the 15-meter ship inside comfortably, has no exit except straight up, out the top. No matter, though; this is really only to his benefit. Diathim can fly. And so fly he does: to the edge, where he alights and surveys from a hundred meters in the air the jungle about him. Ashla's burden burns within him as he feels with Life Sense the conflict on this world. His shoulders feel the weight of somber purpose and his mind hardens itself around the resolution of his duty here. He draws breath and feels his crime grow ever greater, inevitable as it is. He looks this way and that, pragmatically seeking out anything that will give him memory of this place, his only solace amid thoughts of greater things.
How terrible and yet how beautiful it will be. Tragedy of the chosen ones.
A few more moments pass, and Argia steps into the abyss. His wings take over and he glides gently to the ground, light as a feather. Like most winged species, he is lighter in his bones than his substantial height would lead you to believe. Gauging the distance between himself and the Jedi Base, he begins to walk directly that way, making sure to note the direction relative to the sun, and estimating the time of day. He must, after all, be able to return after his mission is complete.
His lightsaber is drawn. The weight of the hilt reflects the burden of the prophecy as he slices fatally through fungus and shrub alike, leaving no matter intact during his pronouncedly slow progression through the jungle towards the sentient beings that await his arrival for their salvation to manifest. ?

*Having finally gotten seated she looked down at Von for a second, realizing that he had noticed her already she almost wondered if she should of waited longer than she had. Looking closer however something seemed different about him, but was unable to figure out what before he looked back at his sword. It seemed like he wasn't quite ready to talk after all. She started to turn back to the base, but something caught her eye. Kulaan remembered that Felucia had a tendency to be quick to change to the flow of the force, and that trait was showing itself. The area around Von started to twist darkly and it seemed as if a dark dense fog was pouring it self out of where Von had stabbed, but that was nothing as the fog itself seemed to contort itself into a strange figure. A frigid chill ran down her spine. She turned and dropped down onto a lower branch that gave her a better view, nearly losing her balance as she was trying to watch. She placed her hand on the trunk of the tree to steady herself as she watched the events unfold. The fog figure was speaking to Von, she wasn't able to hear it with complete clarity and quite a few of the words were meaningless to her.
As the figure moved closer to Von she stood up on her branch still steadying herself. The chill deepened as Von was lifted off the ground by the figure. Without meaning to she clenched her hand on the trunk carving marks into the bark. She was shocked when she saw this figures hand vanish into Von, she felt only a portion of Von's pain as he screamed, the entity's laughter ringing in her own ears as well. She dropped down to a knee on the branch having become unsettled by what happened. Her hand was stuck as he claws were still gouged into the bark. The last time she had felt anything close to this was back on the day she arrived in the infirmary. Her curiosity about Von had given her more knowledge than she had bargained for. She looked up towards Von again as the figured turned towards her. She froze in place her hand stuck and her tail now rigid behind her. Then the figure spoke directly into her mind, the tormenting voice causing her to raise her other hand to hold her head.
She found it difficult to think straight while the voice was speaking to her, before she could even try to consider responding the presence and figure had vanished back into the sword. She sat there for a minute staring at the dark object, now understanding just how truly dangerous it was. She would have to tell Johun about what happened but not when Von was around. Nor could she let Von know anything strange had happened. Considering this she stood and made to jump back up onto the branch she was on earlier, remembering just prior to jumping that her hand was stuck. She turned to it and with a little work was able to free the claws. She climbed back up to the branch she was on and resumed her old position, this time staring down at Von trying to figure out what was to come. *

The air was cool that morning, a soft breeze would occasionally blow by. Time seemed to have slowed down or in Von's case it only seemed at that point in time nothing else really mattered. Von's body hadn't moved for a few minutes after the entity left, his body just laid there. All the while in Von's mind a series events were firing off in his brain.
Von awoke to see Korriban before him, the desolate plains within in grasp. He felt the hot breeze wash over him, looking around he wondered how he had arrived to Korriban. The last thing he remembered was leaving the Jedi base, but as far as that nothing else had come to mind. He decided to walk for a while to see if he could get a grasp of just where on Korriban he was but before he could take five steps forward the ground around him shook and the surface split and shattered open. Some of the areas around him were either falling down towards the core or rising up towards the surface. He couldn't explain what was going on. The hot air changed dramatically and it was now cold as Ice. Closing his eyes Von tried to picture something else this wasn't Korriban, this had to be something else. When he opened his eyes he was still on Korriban only this time he was standing in the air looking down at the planet. Most of the ground was split and shattered, but it looked as though the ground was floating around him like islands in the sky. Moments later he saw a boy who looked just like him but this boy was about five or six. Unable to speak to the boy, Von tried to get its attention only helpless to watch as it fell from one of the islands into the planets core. Forcing everything he could to save the boy, reaching out his hand and screaming for the boy. He watched with a heavy heart as the boy disappeared into the abyss. Looking towards the sky Von screamed out in pain. This only caused him to scream himself out of his dream. Von opened his eyes and found himself on the ground of the Felucian jungle. How he arrived was a mystery what was more a mystery though was why his chest hurt as if he was punched in the chest by Rancor. Lifting his shirt he saw a strange tattoo on his chest, running his hand over the marks he felt a cold feeling as he touched it. He didn't know what it was but for time being he wasn't to bring any attention to it. Standing himself up he looked around and tried to get a feel for his surroundings, looking in to the trees around him to see if any trees had a good standing for him to judge his distance if he were to climb on one. Though as he looked over to one of the trees he thought he saw someone perched in the tree watching him.
So..I was brought here by someone after allHe said to himselfVon raised his left hand up towards the tree and focused the energy of the force to build up and focus in his left arm. This was the same attack he used on Johun the only difference was this time it wasnt going to be as strong or cause his arm to shatter. Focusing on the person in the tree he let out a huge force push. It had the chance to stun the person but he wanted to see who it was and why they brought him here.

*Kulaan hoped that Von wouldn't be too long in coming around, she really didn't what to have to go over there and wake him up to make sure they made it to the shuttle before it left. After a few minuted Von screamed causing Kulaan to look back down at him quickly. She saw him stand after looking down his shirt. She thought the entity had said that Von's memory of the event had been erased. She disregarded that and began to stand on the branch to make her way down. Now standing on the branch she looked back down to Von to call out to him. However he was already looking at her, she saw his mouth move and then he raised his hand. Not waiting for what was to come next Kulaan leaped backwards grabbing a hold of a branch further back allowing her to swing to a lower branch behind the trunk of the tree. The force wave Von had sent out was strong enough that it Snapped the branch she had been standing on. Causing it to start crashing down.*
So much for just wanting to talk Kulaan thought to herself. Perhaps he hadn't remembered that. Was that really necessary Von? After all you're the one who said you wanted to talk with me! *She shouted from behind the tree. She hopped down the last few branches to get to the ground stepping out from behind the tree to make sure he was able to see her.* If I had figured you were just going to attack me anyway I might not have even bothered to come. *She folded her arms in front of her not particularly happy with him right now*

Von saw that his attack failed just as the figured leapt from the branch. He couldn't make out who it was but the voice sounded familiar, the last thing he remembered as he tried to bring up the moments before he woke up. An unfortunately all that he could remember were bits and pieces of the Jedi Base, Johun inviting him to join him. An lastly some girl who he couldn't remember who it was though. He would let the girl speak though just in case he would build the force up incase he had to attack.
You speak as if you know me. But I have never seen you before in my life, how is it that you know I am. Better yet explain to me how I have come to lay here on this ground in the middle of a jungle on a planet I know very little about. And yet you were able to find me so easily, who are you...

*Kulaan sighed and shook her head. Had that thing completely wiped out Von's memory of Felucia? Maybe he just had a poor memory to start with. After all they had only just met for a few minutes. She sensed him building up the force again, but seeing as how he didn't use it this time she felt no need to try to provoke him.*
Slightly groggy after your nap? Seems you forgot that you asked for a little chat before we left. I was about to come down and talk before I had realized you had fallen asleep. I figured I would give you some time to rest, after all I had some things to think about before we left anyway.
*She looked over towards the Jedi base which would be visible if it weren't for the trees. She had quite a bit to tell Johun, hopefully she and Von would get back to the hangar intact.*
The names Kulaan by the way... not "cat" or "kitten". *She looked back at Von remembering what he had been calling her back in the infirmaries. She still needed some work at controlling her annoyance when people called her by either of those identifiers.*

Von paused for a moment when he heard her name but what really stopped him was the nicknames that followed with it. Von remembered who she was and why he had come to the jungle and away from the base. Grinding his teeth together as he looked at the girl before him and then paused and reframed from acting on his anger against the girl. He only wanted to talk to her and figure her out.
Ah I remember you know, your the piece of shit that I have to train with, you wander around a base where no body knows you and if anything cares about you. An the one person who pays even a little more attention that your used to and you cling to him like a leech. I don't know you, nor do I know anything about you. But I will be damned if I am to be stuck with you in a fight, just so you and me are clear about something. I don't give a flying fuck what Johun is selling, if he can grant me strength to do what I must in order to survive so be it. I don't believe in this Jedi Sith shit, I am just taking advantage to what is before me. Tell Johun what I told you I don't care, its not gonna stop me from getting what I want. So now that introductions are out of the way I want to ask you something. Why should I train with someone like you. A..Sad...Pathetic....little...KITTEN.Von said the last part to get a rise out of her, he wanted to see if she was even worth the effort to pay her much attention in the upcoming years.

*Well at least he remembered something anyway. But from the rest of Von's little rant Kulaan's eyes kept getting narrower as he continued. Johun was going to have his work cut out for him on this one... and thanks to her curiosity she was going to get dragged along with this unpleasant fellow. When he finished with the obvious insults she had just handed to him she shook her head, unfolded her arms and started walking towards him.*
"That makes twice you stated plainly you know basically nothing about the force. You seek strength but don't care anything for its source." *She shook her head continuing to come closer to Von.* "That method is only good for destruction. The force is more complicated than just power, Johun will be teaching you that." *She stopped at this point being just outside the corrupted area that had been warped by the presence of the sword still sticking out of the ground. She had no interest of entering that area if she didn't have to... she was already annoyed enough with Von as it was." "As far as being a sad pathetic little kitten. You don't even know me but I can tell you this... a sad pathetic little kitten wouldn't have even come out here to talk to you at all. 6 years ago you might have not even seen me at all, but it is because of that day that I sought you out." *She was of course referring to the day she arrived. The day she had fled from the darkside presence in the infirmary, having been scared out of her wits having been in a position she knew nothing about.

*Wait, had she just said she remembered more than she did yesterday? Well, that was good! Morgan knew Arela had just said she didn't know what they all meant, but it was still a start. Maybe drawing out the new memories would help a little.*So, what do you remember? *Arela closed her eyes as she placed everything in order*,
"I remember standing in a forest surrounded by large pines high up in the mountains. Everything was covered in fresh snow, it was cold but felt welcoming. I must have been young, because the snow was deep. The forest was quiet, but I could here someone calling to me, I'm not sure but the voice felt familiar."

*Morgan listened as Arela recounted her small memory, and she tried her best to make sense of it. She wasn't sure why she was, since she didn't know a thing about Arela or her past and therefore wouldn't be able to help fill in the gaps of any memories she could remember, but still Morgan felt compared to help out. Maybe... they could try to figure out the planet? It would be quite a fit of wild guessing, but perhaps she and Terra could come up with something!* Do you know where that was? Was it on... um... *... Morgan couldn't think of any planets that were both snowy and had forests. Snowy planets, yes, and foresty planets, sure, but not snowy foresty planets. She grimaced.* I... I dunno... do you, Terra?

"This is..."
? Argia's Life Sense is tingling.
He was still hard at work in his approach toward the aggregation of strong life forms, hacking his way neatly through the overgrowth as he went, taking extra care to ensure that no vegetation within his reach was left alive. Sweat had begun to appear at his brow, and yet he was already only this far..! But Lux's blade remained infinitely honed and Argia's duty burned just as brightly as this lightsaber in his heart, so his steps did not falter nor did his arms succumb to fatigue. Step after perilous step, he approached.
But that was when he felt it. The Life Sense does not err; it is unmistakable. In the instant it occurred, he felt the death of one being. And, shortly after, two more became one with the Force in short succession. His reaction was a mixture of thoughts, and it displayed itself on his visored face with nothing more than a twitch of the mustache and the words he spoke aloud. Someone at his destination is extinguishing life, and so it cannot be ignored. The presence of whomever is responsible is... both a blessing and a curse. That's probably the best conclusion that can be drawn from here.
His footfalls come to a halt for the first time since departing the CloakShape fighter, and he speaks out loud to no one present for the second time. ?
"It seems...I cannot afford to take any more time. ... I will be back for you later."
? He spread his wings promptly, and then took to an aerial route above the jungle. Argia must fly; there is no time for distraction or interruption in the form of encounters. He would head to the Temple- from here he could see its outline clearly, at last- and determine the status there, subsequently to take appropriate action. Silently he expressed his desire to Ashla for success and blessing in his mission here. ?

Von looked at the girl and then frowned she wasn't worth the effort. She didn't take action but used words instead, she was no fun. So he started his way back to the base.
Are you coming or what

*She stared at Von for a short time until he frowned. He turned towards the base and started heading in that direction. All this for just that, he was disappointed that she wasn't as eager to fight as he was? That was fine for now. She turned and grabbed her pack she had left at the base of the tree she was on and started off towards the base as well.*
Don't worry too much Von we will have are little sparing match at another time. But as Johun had told you now isn't the time.
*She jumped on ahead watching him slightly to see if he would stop and remember to grab the sword in the ground. In any case they weren't too far from the base so she would keep on her way regardless.*

Von started his way back to the base, Von paid no attention to the sword that was implanted into the ground. He acted as though it wasn't even there but then again to Von he didn't even know what it was. Von would never come back to this part of the planet again and if he did this place would be gone forever erased from his memory.

Felucia's bizarre forests were wreathed in shadow and darkness as GALSAF's gunships entered the lower atmosphere of the planet. The system's sun would remain hidden for the next eight hours, giving the commandos cover of night to make their approach on the Sith compound that was their objective. The vehicles' enginesthrummed as their repulsors took on the task of slowing their descent. There were twenty gunships in total, some loaded with dismount commandos, others medical personnel, more bearing legged vehicles and armored ground transports. The bulk of the force angled Westward, making for an area where the foliage was less dense and the undergrowth more stable for the deployment of their charges. Two of the gunships struck Southward, their hulls black as pitch, angling for a small clearing some kilometers South of the Old Republic compound where the Sith slaving ring was holed up. Tag watched the main force make their descent as his own split away from their numbers, the other vessels disappeared quickly from sight into the forest's thick canopy. As their pilots brought the gunship into the small clearing, Tag unclasped his restraints and pushed himself off of his seat, grasping the overhead support bar. Weapons hot, folks. Grab your gear, be ready for dismount. He told the rest of the infiltration team's members via secure comms, which Ellie and Crystaall had already been connected. Tag slung his gear back over his shoulders, securing the waist straps around him. The gunship slowed further still, until it hovered just a meter over the forest floor, its engines humming softly. Tag waited until the red signaling light by each bay door turned green, then keyed both doors open. Dismount. He called, stepping out of the vessel's starboard door. Hoover and Gaunt proceeded out of the port side, their Verpine Assault Carbines raised and ready as they split away from one another and took security positions several meters from the gunship. Tag followed suit on his own side of the vessel, joined by Joanie and Chachi who dismounted from the port side of the second gunship. Reader and Cheeky had taken security positions on the furthest side of the clearing. After Crystaall and Ellie dismounted, the troop bay doors slid shut, and the two gunships lifted away from the forest floor, disappearing into the night sky. Tag counted everyone off, checking their icons on his HUD. We're all ready, yeah? He asked. Joanie nodded, hefting the Verpine Sniper Rifle that was his prized possession. If Tag hadn't already known the commando fancied other men, he might have expected him to marry the damn thing. Sure enough, mate. Joanie replied, looking Northward. How long do you figure it'll take to reach the compound, given the terrain? Before Tag could reply, Chachi spoke up. No more than thirty, maybe forty minutes. The forest's not as thick as it is on the North and East faces. Joanie thanked her with a quip as Tag organized the infiltration team. We'll head into the forest in a file formation, keep it close, but not too close. Joanie, you'll scout ahead, no more than fifty meters out from us. Chachi, you're with him. I'll take point, Hoover, you're behind me, Ellie and Crystaal behind him. Gaunt, Reader and Cheeky, you take up the rear. The Black Operators each nodded in turn, arraying themselves according to the position they'd been assigned as Joanie and Chachi disappeared into the woodline on the North angle of the clearing. Tag began to follow, his rifle held close against his breastplate, the muzzle aimed a meter out from his own feet. Hoover fell in line behind him, and the rest would follow suit as they entered the thick vegetation of Felucia's forests. In case this is your first time touring the lovely world of Felucia, please keep your arms, legs and weapons inside the formation. Our tour will include the forests themselves, which are teeming with all sorts of beautiful flora and fauna waiting to eat you, or simply disembowel you and leave you for dead. Our destination is a compound filled with crazy Sith slavers, who will stop at noth-- Shut up, Joanie. Tag muttered, cutting the other man off. He could almost see the Operator's smirk and wished he could smack it off.

*Crystaall silently dismounted the gunship an immediately took a lightsaber in her right hand, but never triggered it. In her left, she unholstered one of her pistols and ticked on its aiming mechanism. From there she followed Tag's orders and kept in the file formation. The fauna and flora was beautiful, according to Joanie, and Crystaall couldn't agree more. She even began to chuckle at the man's commentary until Tag shut him up. She was glad not all of them were serious during this mission. It'd be too dull for her taste. But on the other hand, she might have to concentrate more on the darkness that covered this planet like a large smoke bomb. It was almost too powerful, and its weight was overwhelming. But Crystaall had been corrupted to its power before, she could resist its power. And so she did. With as much strength as she could, she shut out the Force from affecting her. Doing this actually made her trip up and accidentally fire a shot off to her left, hitting a plant. Crystaall bowed her head quietly.*
-My apologies, must've been a root I tripped on.-
*Crystaall hoped no one actually saw her stumble over herself, but it was likely Gaunt, Reader or Cheeky saw it. Her connection now temporarily severed, she was able to focus without the dark Force power gnawing at her head. Unfortunately it would probably come back the moment they reached the base. She was in no condition to fight Sith. Of course she wouldn't let everyone else know that. She could still hold her own.*

*Ellie disembarked from the gunship. Her blaster rifle at the ready. She fell in line and shook her head at the commentary that came over her helmet. Ignoring the man, she turned her attention to her surroundings. The forest itself seemed alive with the force, and not in the friendly way. The sound of a blaster round going off caused her to wipe around and raise her rifle. Upon seeing that it came from the Jensaarai women, Ellie lowered her rifle. She wanted to say something but refrained. The women didn't look so well, taking a step closer she placed a hand on the women's shoulder.* ::You alright?::

Zimmy turned green inside his helmet as the stealth LAAT dipped into the atmosphere. He didn't think he'd ever get used to the feeling of his stomach plummeting downwards as the landing craft's repulsors kept his body aloft. With a little concentration and a few sips of water, the boy's stomach returned to it's rightful position. He stood in his normal spot towards the rear of the transport, fingers wrapped around a strap above his head and eyes aimed out the window. Zimmy could feel nerves rippling under his skin as the surface of Felucia drew closer. The swirling greens, browns, purples and blacks looked back at the boy.
It was only minutes before the pair of LAATs sat down in a clearing. He was seventh off the transport, his rifle pointed forward, his eyes jumping between his sensors and the alien forest. He saw a group of soldiers accompanied by a pair of women he didn't recognize. Curiosity got the better of him and he stepped towards them, checking security as he went. Each step prompted a change of view, a shift in stance. He saw a man with a Verpine sniper rifle standing amongst them and stood near him, waiting for a good moment to interrupt. When he got the chance, Zimmy gave the man a lazy salute. His comlink rumbled softly.
All units from my LAAT report all clear. What's next? Any extra gear we need to grab while we're here?

*This was t be expected, her awareness with the Force dwindled down, forcing her to barely sense the presence of those she walked with. As Ellie placed ah hand on her shoulder, Crystaall almost jumped. She was paranoid without the Force to help her, and she needed to focus. What was odd was that now she was without the Force, she could feel the presence of the Force that was in Ellie. It was clear the girl was suppressing its power, but when asked a question, she didn't mention it.*
-I'll be alright, but I should warn you guys I'm without the Force for a short time.-
*She decided it was bet they knew not why, but it was obvious that Ellie could figure it out. Crystaall felt it odd that she couldn't sense the girl's power when she had the Force, but without she could. Was she that good at suppressing powers one should be proud to have? It wasn't her room to budge, so she paid it no mind, allowing herself to keep moving forward, and nodding to Ellie to simplify that she'd be alright.*

Tag's jaw tightened and his fire went to the trigger of his rifle as he and the rest of the Operators dropped to a knee and surveyed their surroundings. The source of the blaster fire had been...the Jensaarai woman, Crystaall. He suppressed the anger that flared in him at the woman's carelessness, then realized it couldn't have been carelessness that caused the misfire in her weapon. The column halted, Tag notified Joanie and Chachi to hold their position ahead of the group. When he crept back to Crystaall, he saw Ellie holding a hand on the woman's shoulder, gleaming their conversation through his helmet comms. Stopping in front of the pair, Tag looked the Jensaarai over. Her temperature readings were still higher than normal. A women with as many prosthetics as her would typically read lower, given the lack of biological mass to produce overall thermal energy. You're not well. Tag muttered. It wasn't a question. Are you sick? I have to know. If you might compromise the mission, you'll have to stay behind. I can arrange for pick up. It's better than you causing a disturbance and revealing our presence. Tag was speaking from experience as well as protocol. You never took a sick commando out on a mission like this one. Crystaall might have fared well enough with the assault force, or better yet, on board the Firestorm. He released the clasp on his sidearm's holster, drawing the Verpine shattegun and holding it out for Crystaall to take. Give me the blaster.
