Serena giggled and followed Morgan, staying close to her as they moved through the jungle. As they walked, Morgan was talking about how she went out a lot in between her lessons, and how she often tried to bring her brother out here as much as possible. Serena could understand that, as she also liked to play with her brother as much as possible. Playing with someone else was always better than playing alone in her opinion, though she wondered if Morgan's connection to the planet helped her feel less alone.
She sighed happily."I can see why you're outside so much. It's so pretty out here!"She giggled again, hoping the opportunities to explore the jungle would be many.

*Morgan giggled when Serena said she understood why Morgan was outside so much. It was indeed very pretty, and Morgan thought it more colorful and beautiful and pretty than any other place she ever saw. Morgan even looked up at the canopy above her, smiling at the beauty of her mother. Then she giggled again and looked at Serena.* Yep, my mommy's very beautiful. *She giggled again and kept walking, wondering what it would be like if Serena could compare her own jungle experiences. She couldn't due to the simple fact that, well, Haruun Kal was not a friendly jungle at all. And to the common person, Felucia could be as well, but it was far more tame. ... sometimes. She thought about it a moment, biting her lip as she did so, then started speaking.* Haruun Kal's jungle wasn't pretty... it was mean, and ugly... Mesh told me about it— *She inadvertently mentioned Mesh when she hadn't meant to. She didn't want to really think about Mesh, lest she become sad again, and she wasn't sure she was ready to talk about it with Serena. A quick clarification—and nothing more—was all that was needed.* Mesh was a K-... Korunnai, I think, who helped me get through the jungle. But he told me all about the dangerous animals and stuff in the jungle, and there's even fungus that eats metal! And then there were the bugs... *She sighed. She couldn't even feel guilty if Serena found what she was saying insulting; her thoughts were filled with Mesh, and at the same time she was trying not to think of him. Still, she managed to look up at Serena and look somewhat apologetic.* I'm sorry if I'm being mean... I... Never mind. *She almost talked about her trip. She didn't want to yet. Eventually she would, but Morgan just didn't want to right now. She wanted to be happy, especially out here in the jungle, and especially spending her first time with a new friend. She didn't want the mood to be sad.*

Serena listened as Morgan told her about what she thought of Haruun Kal. While she had never ventured deep into the planet's jungles before, she had always known they were dangerous. She knew all about the dangers of the jungles back home, the bugs, the metal eating fungus, and while it sometimes made life challenging even in the safest parts of the town that she lived in, she felt no resentment towards it. Still, her father had always told her never to venture into the jungle proper for very good reasons.
She was quiet for a moment after Morgan had finished talking, unsure about what to say. Haruun Kal was certainly dangerous, but at the same time, it had been home. Of course, Serena hadn't ever ventured more than a little ways into the jungles before, and even then she had been with her father and brother. That had been the one time where she was allowed to enter the jungle, but her father had made her turn back with her mother and the neighbor after a little ways in.
She sighed and shook her head."No it's OK...I always knew the jungles back home were dangerous. I only went a little ways in one time with my dad and brother...they made me go back home before we got too far in. I didn't want to follow them further anyway. That jungle back home was...scary. It's much nicer where the town is."In a way, she wasn't offended by Morgan's thoughts about Serena's homeworld, because it really could get nasty. Of course, if it wasn't for Morgan, Felucia might not be much better...
She managed a smile, attempting to try and cheer Morgan up a little."I like this jungle a lot better though."

*Fortunately, Serena didn't seem to mind Morgan's impressions of the planet, and even shared a little story of how she almost went into the jungle, but was asked to turn back. Not only that, but she didn't even want to go back in, deeming that it had been "scary." Morgan almost panicked; they hadn't gone near the demon entity, had they?! Did they live near it?! Morgan certainly hoped not, but she managed to keep her composure.
Hopefully Serena just meant that the jungle was genuinely an unpleasant place, which it was even before Morgan encountered the dark being.
But then Serena admitted something that made Morgan both surprised and delighted: She liked Felucia's jungle much better. Morgan's eyebrows raised a little and she looked up at Serena with a grin, glad to hear that. Morgan felt so close with the jungle that it was as though any time someone complimented the jungle, Morgan felt complimented as well, and if someone were to insult it, well, Morgan would probably take it more than a little personally.* I'm glad! But you haven't even seen the best parts yet! *She giggled as they kept walking, past tall bulbous stalks giant pitcher plants. It truly was incredibly colorful and pretty out here, and she was glad Serena thought so as well.* It wasn't as pretty on Belkadan... well, it wasn't ugly, but it just wasn't... this. Belkadan just had trees. ... and green. This has all kinds of plants and funguses— er, fungi, and all sorts of colors! Though I guess Belkadan was safer... there weren't really any dangerous animals on Belkadan. There can be a lot here, if you're not careful. But that's what Rush is for! *Rush, as usual, was somewhere off in the jungle, patrolling, scouting, prepared to warn Morgan of danger and come to her defense if necessary. Morgan felt much more at ease with him around, though she had fared pretty well before ever meeting him as well. He was a good companion though, and Morgan wouldn't want to go anywhere in the jungle without him.*

Serena was glad that the topic had changed to something more cheerful than darkened jungles, and she listened as Morgan started talking about Belkadan. That wasn't a world she had heard of before, and from the way Morgan described it, it wasn't anything special. At least it was safe, if not as interesting as Felucia. Morgan must travel a lot if she had been to two other worlds besides Felucia. Although she had forgotten that Morgan had mentioned that she had lived on Belkadan before...
She smiled."When did you visit Belkadan?"She was also glad to have Rush around, just in case there were any dangerous animals lurking in the jungle.

*When did she visit Belkadan? Morgan looked confused for a moment, tilting her head to the side. She'd already mentioned that she lived there before, hadn't she? Maybe she forgot; Morgan had talked about a lot of things since meeting Serena, so it'd be a bit of a reach to ask her to remember everything.* I lived there for a few years, since I was three. We moved here over a year ago, so I lived there for four years. I used to like it... I guess I still do a little, but after what happened with me and Felucia... well, everything's just different. *Morgan looked down at her feet as she walked, contemplating everything. How would she have felt if she never linked to the planet like she had? Would she miss Belkadan when her father decided to move to Felucia? She didn't miss it now, but would she have? There was no way to know, but Morgan didn't want to; her connection was too special to lose, and it made living here all the better, so she didn't regret it whatsoever.*[/color

Serena giggled and covered her mouth as she remembered that Morgan had told her once before that she lived on Belkadan before. But then, they had talked about a lot of things and of course had been playing so there was that."Oh right! You said that before! I forgot..."
Morgan moving to Felucia wasn't unlike Serena moving from Haruun Kal, minus the whole 'connection to the planet' thing that the other girl had going on. Despite all the dangers that were present back home, she still did miss it. She missed playing with the other children, the house her family lived in, the big lake at the edge of town...if not for Morgan, Serena felt like she might be very lonely. Even if Morgan didn't like her homeworld, that didn't matter.
She walked closer to Morgan and took the other girl's hand, giving it a light squeeze."Thanks...er...for playing. And talking and for showing me the jungle."

*Morgan giggled when Serena remembered that Morgan had said that before, but that was fine. They kept walking for a moment until Serena suddenly took her hand and squeezed it, which surprised Morgan and caused her to look around at Serena. When Serena thanked her for playing with her and showing her around, Morgan smiled back at her and squeezed her hand in return.* You're welcome! I'm glad I've got a new friend to play with. *She giggled and smiled at Serena, then walked closer to her, resting her head on her shoulder. It was good to have a friend, one her age and also a girl. She didn't have a lot of female friends her age, so that was a nice bonus.*

Serena smiled and squeezed Morgan's hand again, sighing happily as they walked through the jungle together. She hadn't been looking forward much to living on a strange world away from her friends and family, but thanks to Morgan, it wasn't so bad. And unlike back home, where the jungle was too dangerous for most, she could walk around here and explore and with Morgan, it would be relatively safe. Heck, they were walking around the jungle completely naked, something Serena would have never ever been able to do back home or even give a thought to. Despite her initial reservations about moving here, she was really starting to like it here now. And it was only her first day here.
She was quiet for several minutes, just enjoying the sights and sounds of the jungle, walking hand in hand with her new friend. Serena knew that she should probably head back soon to get her stuff unpacked and get settled in, but they probably still had time and she wanted to stay out here as long as possible.

*Morgan wasn't sure how much time they had left, though by now she was starting to get a little hungry, and Serena probably was as well. But before they made it back to the base, Morgan diverted their path back to the cliff face, warning Serena to shield her eyes again before opening back the curtain and stepping through. Morgan then sat down near the edge, but not on the edge, and peered out over the valley below.* Even though I fell here, I still like to come here and look at the view, just because of how pretty it is. It would be nice to watch the sun go down here sometime, though it's prettier in the jungle. *She giggled and looked at Serena.* But I'm never gonna sit on the edge again. *She wasn't sure why that was funny, because it honestly wasn't, and yet she had laughed at it. Connection or not, falling again wasn't something Morgan wanted to do; her life had been spared last time, but would she have the same luck twice in a row. No, not luck... but regardless, she didn't want to tempt fate.*

Serena sat down next to Morgan, taking care not to sit too close to the edge of the cliff. The view was really nice, but she was a little uncomfortable with heights. As long as she kept away from the edge though, she'd be fine. She looked out over the valley for a little bit before turning to Morgan when she mentioned that she would never sit on the edge again. It definitely sounded like sage advice for anyone.
She nodded and giggled."I won't sit there either."She sighed as she looked over the valley again."It's so pretty. We probably should head back though, huh?"A pity they couldn't stay and watch the sunset but there was still a lot to do...

*Morgan was glad that Serena agreed about sitting too close to the edge, but now Serena was wondering if they should go back. Unfortunately, she was probably right. Morgan allowed herself a moment for one last longing look over the horizon, then she started to get up.* I guess so, I'm getting kinda hungry anyway. *She turned and started to leave, then stopped.* Oh. I guess you want these back first. *After carefully nudging Lokay to the ground, Mrogan unslung her bag and opened it, holding it out for Serena so she could get her clothes out. Morgan was wearing a silly grin, wondering to herself how silly it might've been if she'd accidentally let Serena walk back to base without realizing she wasn't wearing any clothes until they got there, but she wasn't going to say it out loud.*

Serena got up with Morgan, remembering that she had last eaten during the trip from Haruun Kal, so it had been awhile. Food would be her number one priority when they got back to the base, and she waited for Morgan to lead her back, except then she remembered that it might be a good idea for them to get dressed before doing so. Serena didn't want to imagine what kind of trouble she'd get into for entering the base nude...
She giggled and nodded."Yeah...although I kinda liked walking with no clothes. It felt nice."It had felt nice, but she was glad that Morgan had reminded her to get dressed. She had almost completely forgotten that she was naked. Still giggling, she took her clothes out of the bag and quickly pulled them on, but she left her shoes in."You don't mind if I leave my shoes in here, do you?"

*Morgan giggled when Serena admitted she liked walking around without clothes and nodded when she admitted it felt nice. It really did, to have only the comfort of the breeze and the warmth of the sun upon your bare skin. When asked if she minded if Serena left her shoes in her bag, Morgan nodded, then quickly shook her head when she remembered that "yes" was the wrong answer to the question.* Not at all! Going barefoot's fun too! *She giggled as she set the bag down and pulled out her own dress, flapping it out and straightening it before pulling it over herself. Then she closed the bag, slung it over her shoulders, coaxed Lokay back up onto her shoulder, then stood and smiled.* Okay. Back to the base, and time to eat! *Those were words Lokay recognized, and he perked up curiously, sniffing at the air as though there were food nearby. Morgan giggled and led Serena back into the jungle and to the short path that led back to the base...*

Serena grinned when Morgan said it was OK to leave her shoes in the bag, and she waited for her to get her dress on before following her back to the base. She made a mental note to ask Morgan about that dress sometime soon."All right!"Giggling, she followed Morgan back to the base.

*Arela agreed with Morgan about the new dress for Terra. She thought about the question Morgan had asked her. In fact she had remembered some, but most of it was to blurry to make any sense.*
"I remember some yes. But I can't really tell what it means though. Maybe it will just clear with time, cause I remember more now then I did yesterday."

*Wait, had she just said she remembered more than she did yesterday? Well, that was good! Morgan knew Arela had just said she didn't know what they all meant, but it was still a start. Maybe drawing out the new memories would help a little.* So, what do you remember?

Von had just left the Jedi base, the feeling that his master gave off was a little nauseating but then again he wasn't used to it either. Out of everything that had happened he just needed to get away and be to himself. Taking out his sword he jammed the sword into the ground so only some of the blade and hilt was out of the ground. Looking over the outlines of the blades edge to the way the hilt was perfect for his hand. This sword was meant for him, but he was told that it was a source of corrupt power. Who was that man to tell him differently, this sword was apart of him an extension of his own arm. To remove it now would cause him to loose something apart of him. Not to mention now he wanted to train him with some other girl a feline to be exact. Angered by the whole situation Von sat down on the ground across from the sword and tried to calm himself.
Von slowly slipped into a state of being that was completely one with himself, closing his eyes Von focused on what was probably to come. The idea of traveling further and further from his home made him uneasy but he wanted this, he wanted to see the universe. He wanted to see if it had more to offer than his home did. He thought about the hardships he would have to face and also the fun times. He thought of how he could use all this training to find his father, but apart of him knew that was never going to happen. Falling back he laid his head onto the soft dirt and exhaled, what was he going to do.

*Kulaan had gotten everything finished up for her departure sooner than she had expected. She didn't have much to take and was only carrying a small pack with her. Exiting the base she looked around a little for Von. It took her a little longer than expected to finally spot him the upcoming trip was causing a certain level of distraction for her. From where she was it looked like Von was still mulling things over. Not wanting to interrupt this she spotted a tree not too far off from where Von was but still close enough to be able to call out to him when he was ready if he didn't spot her. She placed her pack at the base of the tree after spotting a good branch and climbed up to it, sitting with her back against the trunk of the tree, letting one leg hang lazily off the branch, while her tail decided to traverse the trunk to lean on another nearby branch.
From her perch she was able to look out over the base she had now spent about half of her life at. It had come to become her home and though there wasn't much too it, she knew she would miss it a little. She sat there waiting for Von, pondering what was to come, and remembering what had already happened.*

As Von laid on his back he reached out his left hand towards the sky and made a grasping motion with his hand. Von had to let go of everything that had been keeping him back, the pain the hardship's even his sword. He knew he had to rid himself of its hold but everything...EVERYTHING he went through his sword allowed him to survive. Without sitting up he spoke aloud as if he was talking to someone next to him.
So...we've been through a lot haven't we. We helped me overcome my fears and even helped me survive on Korriban. I know your more than a sword, I felt it back then during my fight with Johun. For six years you were with me, and for six years you never spoke to me like you did on that day. I thought I was alone, I thought I was going to die on the very same planet that I was born on. An yet you allowed me to tap into the planets core energy and survive. I know that you only helped me awaken who I am, I know that now. I can't explain or even fathom in what you are, but if I am going to take this next step forward I can't take you with me. Perhaps I should have left you back on Korriban, but where would I be now.Von exhaled the back of his head laying on the moist dirt, he heard what sounded like a branch creaking and looked up and back and saw what he could only slightly make out Kulaan. His eyes made contact with hers, though he didn't realize it. She would only see who Von was without the shell of a boy who always felt like he had to be on guard. No what was before her was the shadow of what Von once was, before his loneliness on Korriban. Before having to kill over and over again in order to survive. Von was just a boy nothing more and nothing less. Looking back at the sword before he waited for its answer, he knew that it would say something.
As Von sat there he felt the familiar presence of home, he felt the darkness engulf him in an empty void. Wrapping around him like a blanket, he knew what it was he just never realized till now that it had come from it. The air around Von and much of the forest around would start to be effected by the dark aura emanating from the sword, some of the plant life around Von started to wilt and contort in a frightening manner. Von noticed no animals seemed to come near anymore, he might have seen a small animal scurry along but now he knew this would not be the case. A sad smile came across Von as he stared at the sword. The closet thing he ever had to a friend, was now going to be lost to him. A dark mist of static slowly creeped out of the ground where the blade had penetrated the earth. Swirls of smoke and fog covered the ground before him. An Strange figure presented itself in front of Von, it's face was hidden behind a screen of smoke. Von had sat up by now and only stared at the figure before him.
Looking from side to side as if it was making the movements of stretching the wraith like figure moved its body around. It stared at Von for a moment and then looked back at the sword that it had resided in all this time. A soft hiss could be heard for a moment then the thing spoke. Its voice was heavy and suffocating, its presence was unlike anything Von had felt before. It felt as though something was stepping on his chest, crushing his lungs in the process.
As the Sith spoke he constantly mingled Sith words so it granted more meaning to what he said. Von would know its meaning for it had been integrated into his mind over the years Von Verros Regalia....who is this weak thing before me. Where is the Woyunoks who asked for my help in their dreams. Where is the Woyunoks who heard my voice so young and willing to listen to me. Where is the lWoyunoks who took pleasure and great pride in cutting down his father to be. I was so proud of you......You were so gifted you had so much to offer. But you changed, that Jidai corrupted your way of thinking, this so called Saarai-kaar speaks Tash to you. He says he can grant you peace the Entity mocked its head back and made the motion of spitting on the groundTash. It does not exist this Nwûl he speaks of. True peace can only be achieved through true Power, Power that isn't given but taken. Power that only A TRUE SITH can achieve, you...you are nothing but a leech to the words spoken by JIdai themselves. The entity walked up to Von and raised his body with his hand using the force. Looking over the boy before he smirked to himself, and snickered. Reaching out Von felt the entity touch his forehead and spoke the Sith word for strength.TyûkThen it touched his hearth and spoke the Sith word meaning Power MidwanThough what happened next took Von by surprise, he felt a great sense of pain and agony wash over him. He didn't understand where it was coming from until he looked down to see the entities hand, wrist deep into his chest. What it was saying next he could not make out but he could feel it digging its tendrils into his heart. Collapsing to his knees Von clutched his chest he felt it slowly crushing. He was unable to hold back the pain any longer and let out a blood curdling scream the was soon drowned out by the entities laughter. I have granted you one last parting gift before you leave. With this token I give to you, you will never be able to grasp true happiness. Those close to you will always be lost to you. You will never be able to feel emotions of Joy, Love, Happiness. You will be forever alone in your heart. Soon that feeling of emptiness will drive you into madness it will slowly consume your very being. It will drive you to commit a great many atrocities, you will betray everyone that will come to love you. An it will all be in your name...your true name. Darth Apollyon, the DESTROYER and in turn be the true Siqsa "DEMON" of the Tsis. The entity released its tendrils from within Von's chest letting him fall face first into the dirt. No matter how much he tried he would become SITH his name was forged before him, given to him by blood. The one who impregnated his mother was the very entity before him. Possessing the man was who would later on be killed by the offspring of lies and deceit. The entity looked over the boy and ran its hand through the air above the boys head. Now I can't very well let you go on living knowing all this, where would be the fun in that. To know you are to become something so destructive and tormented with emotions that one day you will be killed by those who you hold close to you. No this way is much better, I wish to see the darkness fester inside you. Grow like a seed until you are fully consumed till there is nothing to come back to. And with that the entity erased Von's memory of this encounter and let him lay motionless on the ground. The entity then looked up into the trees and up towards the girl, the smoke around the entities eyes dissipated to the point that only its crimson red eyes could be seen. Its eyes were so intense and heavy with the Dark side it would pierce through straight through Kulaan leaving a cold empty feeling. Their was no skin to be made out around its eyes just decaying skull. Staring up at the girl the wraith like creature pierced deep into the girl head and spoke so only she could hear his tormenting voice echoing in her mind.
I know your there...do not think that I didn't not notice your presence. I allowed you take wittiness to this event, but unlike him I shall allow you to remember what you have seen here. I do not care if you tell his new Master what you have seen for it does not matter to me. What has been done can not be undone, for if you care for him you will not tell him what has transpired here. For if you do his mind will snap, true he will not become what I have fore told his destiny to be but he will be nothing more than a useless vegetable. He will have to live out the rest of his life trapped with in a nightmare, trapped with in his own head unable to speak. Unable to reach out, he will be no use to the Jedi or the Sith. That is why I spared you and allowed you to watch how things unfolded. You hold this boy's life in your hands and in truth perhaps the future as well. After all who knows just how terrifying he will be once he has crossed that line and follow down the path of the Dark Side. Not even I can see that, so what shall you do little one.
An with that the entity vanished back into the sword, the air around them returned to normal and everything was as it was. All the remained of the incident was an unconscious boy and a lone Sith Sword towering over his body.
