The Procursator-class Star Destroyer is a smaller version of the Imperial-class Star Destroyer, but more similar with the Tector-class and Allegiance-class due to the hangarless model that it shared with these two vessels. It was lightly armed compared to the Allegiance and served as a good escort, nonetheless. It was a solid slug warship, like the larger Alliegance-class. The first of these models joined Death Squadron in 3 ABY and served a prominent role in the Battle of Mon Calamari in 10 ABY.

The Procursator-class Star Destroyer is very much a smaller version of the Allegiance-class Battlecruiser. With no hangar bay and thus no capacity to carry troops nor starfighters, it was given a light armament that made it best serve as an escort for larger warships. In total, the Procursator's armament included 3 axial double turbolaser batteries and ten double turbolaser batteries, evenly divided on the port and starboard sides of the vessel.
