Vasari came up short when Luxeria stepped in front of her. She gave Luxeria a mock-pained look at being teased about the shower. It was true she had developed a new appreciation for being cleaned after their trip to Coruscant where she had experienced many new things. She gave her friend an uneasy look, gesturing to the dirt covering her."You didn't spend the last few hours crawling along soot and dirt covered stones!"Then a smirk slipped across her lips and even as she leaped forward she wrapped the living force around her body in a protective shield as she lowered her shoulder into Luxeria intending to bear her into the dirt!

Luxeria lifted her hands, crossing them in front of her as Vasari made her little charge. With the short distance between them, there was nothing she could actually do to stop her friend except to brace herself. Upon impact though, she noticed that Vasari, herself, didn't hit, but something else that separated them. Most likely a shield of some sort. There were a few abilities, she found out, that worked similarly to each other but were still different in some regard or another. It was clear that her firned utilized a different form from herself.
Taking the hit, she worked to keep her feet moving as she stumbled back a bit, though she ultimately fell back. The few steps it took though gave her enough preparation to roll backwards as she landed, letting her move to her knees as she looked up at her friend. Letting off a light scoff, she stood and brushed herself off. It was an interesting thought. Vasari, after going to Coruscant, had developed an appreciation for being cleaned up, while Luxeria, having come from the high society she did that did get into the dirt, came to care little for being dirty. Placing her hands back on her her hips, she raised an eyebrow as she responded to Vasari's words. "I may not have been in the dirt, which is your own fault by the way, but I'm still just as sweaty and nasty from my morning training. And I still typically head to the Library, then the meditation chamber before heading back to clean up for the day."
She held her gaze for a moment before shaking her head with a smirk. She really didn't care about holding appearances. Turning to head back inside, she motioned for Vasari to follow. "Come on, then. You can use my shower."

Vasari crouched as Luxeria retreated and rolled up onto her feat once again - fully prepared to continue the bout should her friend desire more training. When she straightened instead of lunging back Vasari straightened as well and shrugged slightly at being held responsible for their own mutual state of disarray. She didn't much care for that aspect, she didn't much care at all, but the preference was there, and during situations such as this it was better off to be clean than not - should the situation present herself. Had they been in the middle of a mission it probably wouldn't have come to her mind.
"You touch BOOKS... with those dirty hands?!"she exclaimed as if she had just been slapped full in the face with a mandalorian crush-gaunt. She blinked falling still and considered tackling her friend into the dirt again on sheer principle, but thought better of it when Luxeria offered the use of her shower and while she was not completely placated she nodded gracefully and fell into line next to her friend as they walked back to the Obelisk.

Continuing her flow of training, she began staying out in the arena longer and longer, working to better her stamina. With her finally finishing her study of the difference between the Jedi and Sith, to the best of her understanding, she spent less time in the library, going every other day and focusing only on particular things.
The days were spent working on her deeper connections with her weapon and the Force, continuing the advanced handling techniques Gavin had showed her. She was becoming more and more capable with the weapon and how to utilize it with the Force. Each time, her connection to it furthered. Along side that, she continued developing her abilities in the Force that she had been working on: Force Flight, Force Cloak, Force Sight, Pyrokinesis, and her enhanced Telekinetic abilities with the rocks, to which she was slowly breaking down more and more into smaller pieces and larger numbers.
Her growth was easy to see, even for her. It was finally time to step into a new art. In her hand, she carried one of the Saberstaves she had taken on Felucia. Igniting the blades, two yellow beams of energy came to life. For a little while, she focus more of her attention on increasing her skills with the weapon. Not a particular style she cared to use, but as she had been told by Gavin, learning how to use it and fight against it would make her more capable on the battlefield. So far, he had only worked to further her capabilities, so there was no reason to doubt him.
She started slow, spinning the blade around her and above her in different patterns, speeding up little by little. The first thing she felt she needed to do was to understand how the radius of such a weapon differed from a regular lightsaber.

Hours ticked by as Luxeria put her focus into understanding how to best utilize a saberstaff. How to hold it, how maneuver it, how to fight with, all questions that needed answers and a deeper understanding. It was certainly an odd feeling, nothing compared to the grip of a single lightsaber. Even wielding two sabers didn't feel as strange.
But slowly, she was establishing a solid grasp of the fundementals. It would be quite some time, she knew, before it'd be effective enough in real combat at even an average level. But nothing was achieved quickly, despite what some others thought. So she'd continue on. And so she did. She spent another hour working with the double-bladed saber before finally going over the other skills she was working to nurture.

The hours passed on before Luxeria finally fell back onto a formation of rocks. The saberstaff rested beside it as she shifted from her training with the weapon to her Force abilities. And now, she felt completely spent, carrying just enough energy to make it back to her room without the need to drag herself. She hadn't planned to be out training this long, but time got away from her. Not like it truly mattered. She had all the time in the world. Best to use as much of it as she could.
Gathering up her weapon, she departed the dueling arena. She needed some rest as she had set for herself a special task while going through her training. If she was to play the role of an assassin, she needed to learn to be stealthy. But in times she was discovered, she needed to keep her identity secret. That was why she had gone to Ifrit on Sullust to make a mask for herself. But that wasn't all. She needed a new weapon. She had a few hilts to choose from, making the job easy in that regard. And she had no desire to seek out a new crystal for this saber. Instead, she would bleed one of the crystals from one of the hilts she had taken as a trophy. But it would be a task, so she needed to be at her best.

It had been a few days since Gavin's departure and Luxeria took the time to rest and recover from the mental and physical strain that had been thrust upon her. Though she asked for it and desired the strength his training could bring her, she didn't anticipate such intensity from it. Then again, it was most likely due to the lack of time they had to work with. Still, she made it through and all it cost her was a few days. It still allowed her to use the terminal in her chambers to access the archives to continue her studies. So not all was wasted in her downtime.
Walking up the path to the dueling arena, she turned to look at the droid that walked beside her. A gift from Gavin to help further her training and make up for her lack of partners to spar with. A very considerate gift, one that suggested that Gavin expected great things from her and wasn't going to let her have any excuses for not achieving her goals. She was thankful for that, for coming to Malvus in the first place. If she had remained with Andor and the Order of Ruin, she wouldn't possess even half the power she did now. True that Malvus, much like Andor had not trained her as often as she would have liked. But unlike Andor, Malvus took steps to ensure there was something there for her to use to grow. And when he did train her, he considered what progress she should have made and made it harder. Then coming to the Blackguard only furthered her progress between missions and all the access she had to equipment and knowledge. Then those, like Gavin, who were apart of the order and helping it grow. It pushed her closer and closer to her goals. Soon, they would be achieved. But she wouldn't stop there. She would only push further, become stronger and more capable.
But for now, her curiosity lay within the droid. For all that Gavin said it was capable of was impressive. It made her eager to try it out. "So you're meant to aid me in my training?"
Without turning its head to acknowledge her, it spoke, carrying a masculine programming.
::By order of my creator, I have been designated to aid you in training and any other mission you may have need of me on.::
"So, you're not just a training droid but fully combat capable, huh? Curious. Do you have a name?"
::Yes, I was built to be a fully capable combat model. I'm less equipped for training purposes, but according to Master Gavin, you are beyond the need of regular training exercises and are prepared for full spars with complete combat lethality. As such, I can utilize my programming to its fullest and spar with you to enhance your training. But no, I have no designation. Since my upgrade, my old designation no longer holds meaning as I am something new.::
Luxeria looked to the ground for a moment, wondering what she should call him. She wasn't about to just call him a droid or anything of the sort. If it seemed to have some sort of life, it needed a name. She named her lightsabers after all and they possessed no such life or individuality as some droids did. After a moment, she had an idea. "Then how about I call you Umbara. It means shadow and since you have holoprojection technology and can copy another, you, in essence, become their shadow."
::An accurate assessment. Very well. From now on, I will be designated Umbara.::
Luxeria nodded as they made their way into the dueling arena. Standing apart from each other, she removed her single hilt and ignited the purple blade. Umbara also reached down to its right leg and removed a plain basic hilt, igniting an orange blade. She had found out that Gavin had equipped it with two single hilt lightsabers and a saberstaff. No need to gift it with any weapons except maybe a blaster for ranged assaults. She had also learned further that the droid possessed a vast and advanced knowledge on all forms of lightsaber combat and a few unarmed forms. It also already possessed a few copied forms from others that he was unable to disclose at the moment. All that he'd tell her was that when certain requirements were met, he would then activate a certain projection. Still, what he had was more than enough to enhance her training. And by her orders before coming out to the arena, he'd switch randomly between the forms to fully keep her on her toes. And so it began as Umbara lept forward to start the session.

The days carried on as Luxeria went about her daily routines. Hour after hour spent working on her Force abilities. Pyrokinesis, Force Sight, Force Stealth, Doppelgänger, Force Flight, and all of her basic skills, working to further her skills more and more. With Umbara she continued to hone her skills in her Makashi, Ataru, and Soresu lightsaber forms with the use of single lightsaber, Jar’Kai, and double bladed lightsaber combat as he fought her with different styles while analyzing her own moves.
When not in the arena, she was either studying in the library or in the Meditation chambers working on further her run through Gavin’s memories and working on her control over her emotions and pain. An endless tedious cycle that she had to endure if she wished to achieve the power she sought.

Week or so later
It had been a week since he was official released from the infirmary and since then Valafar has been spending every spare moment in the dueling area, training against multiple battle droids all programmed to kill him and Valafar had managed to slash all of them to pieces without getting hit by any blaster fire. Valafar also trained against several Sith assassins and Sith marauders so that he could hone his lightsaber combat and get use to fight force user with his new cybernetic legs, Valafar had told each of them to give it their all and don't hold back and if they did he would kill them where they stood. Luckily for them they did as Valafar instructed and none of them were killed, Valafar knew that it was one thing to train against blackguard soldiers but if he was to really test himself he would have to face off against an opponent that was his enemy and was trying their hardest to survive and to kill him. Valafar stood in the centre of the dueling ring wondering when the other Blackguard members would return from their mission to Dromund Kaas, Valafar opted to sit the mission out so that he could get back into fighting shape and now since he felt that he was, Valafar proceeded to enter the Dark Obelisk and head towards the hangar that currently held his ship.
