Compared to most rooms, the chambers of the Jen'ari are not only a constant mess but representing a small and personal library. Whenever the second-in-command of the Blackguard Reborn is not doing his official duties, he tends to be divulging into ancient texts and old scrolls from many bygone scholars and former Sith. Knowledge is the greatest of powers, a belief that the Jen'ari holds supreme. As a result, his personal chambers were styled to his preference, ensuring knowledge was readily available to him whenever needed.

The soles made of hardened leather scratch the stone pavement in the dead of the night. But Vallius knew his master would sense him coming before he even started climbing down the steps that brought him to the doorstep of his quarters. The holocron in his right hand, lightsaber dangling from the rancor-skin belt. Savage slids the door open with a motion of his left hand; faceless servants disappear into the shadows as he enters the quarters.
"Master"
His voice was a low-pitch, almost a violent hiss, a metallic whisper. Hard to describe and almost unnatural.
"I brought it back, the holocron of Lord Caldoth"

The Jen'ari had his back to Vallius when the Sith walked in. A large tome was opened before his eyes, one of the odd findings that had been made throughout the Sith explorations. It was one that dated to a time after the Old Sith Empire and before the resurgent successor at the time of the Great Galactic War. Calmly, his gloved hand turns the parchment, dusting off the new page gently to be able to read it better. When Vallius walked in, Malvus turns ever so slightly before refocusing on the text. One of his hands extends a little, lifting the holocron from the right hand of the Sith'ari's son and bringing it into his grasp.
Quietly, the Sith's focus turns from the tome to gaze at the holocron of Lord Caldoth. It was one of the few that he had created, the true one had long eluded their grasp and still did. The Duros had been rather keen on ensuring that one was well hidden. Nonetheless, this holocron had some useful information from what had been known. It had details left out of his bestiary book. His hand lifted again, causing the holocron to be set on the table, next to the opened tome.
You have done well, Vallius. Although, there is no need to call me master anymore.
Malvus speaks, gazing at the tome.
After all, your training was complete some time ago.
Not even Luxeria called him master, but rather Jen'ari.
I take it that whatever or whoever watched over Caldoth's holocron was of no issue. The man's knowledge of beast would certainly ensure a good one served as its caretaker and keeper.

"Yes, Jen'ari"
Savage said, walking without a sound, like a black-and-red-skinned Loth-cat. His yellow eyes look at the pureblood from behind, peering at the scribbled parchment.
"I forget it too often..."
The Sith's own regal name, Darth Craxious, had been given by Malvus when his training was complete. Somehow, the prince was neither arrogant not prideful when with Malvus himself.
"But, you're still a master in lore and, even if I might not be your apprentice any longer, Lord Malvus, you have my enduring respect"
He stands behind the Sith, looking at the dusty tome.
"I tried to summon his dark will from beyond, but Lord Caldoth didn't want to share any knowledge with me. He was... mostly non-collaborative. The dead are prideful and... sometimes, foolish"
Vallius sighs.
"You have brought something new from your travels, Lord Malvus?"

Vallius had attempted to reach out to Caldoth? An interesting development. The spirit of the Duros Sith must have proven too powerful and stubborn to bend to the ambitions of Vallius. He was his father's son, yet there was still much to learn. His formal training was complete, but there was still years of experience to come. The retrieval of Caldoth's holocron proved a few things; his skills of survival, tracking, and battle were growing. The Jen'ari could feel it.
There are many spirits who refuse to cooperate with the living. Darth Krayt once desired the council of great Sith Lords, but in the end, Bane, Nihilius, and Andeddu mocked him for trying. The dead can be so stubborn...
Malvus says, clicking his teeth slightly. He recalled a time when a certain Sith King, Dathka Graush, mocked him for trying to learn of his secrets. The spirit was blasted into submission, before the eyes of his short-lived apprentice, Saress. Sometimes, the dead needed to be taught a lesson of who is strong vs who is weak.
The Sith Lord glances at Vallius when a question is presented. Malvus wondered if he spoke of the tome before him.
My travels are fewer these days, save between Eriadu and Mustafar. This tome was taken from the world of Pzob. An ancient Sith temple was uncovered there, dating to a time after the Great Hyperspace War, but before the Great Galactic War. It is one of many volumes that speaks of the Sith that were headmasters there.
The Sith Lord rises from his seated spot, closing the book entirely.
As Sith, there is still much to learn from the past. Tell me, Vallius, did you learn anything from your attempts to summon Caldoth?

"Krayt died out his own incompetence, letting himself be slaughtered by a... pirate"
He hissed, the words leaving his throat from behind his sharp teeth.
"It's on the nature of a Sith to be... proud, not to be weak and be slayed like cattle, just because of their hubris. Maul was almost slaughtered and left crippled by a padawan;Lord Sidious thought his thrall over his apprentice was unbreakable. Both were wrong"
His hand rests on the parchment. Caldoth, amazingly, had preserved his power until his body could not hold his essence any longer, being one of the few Lords that had died in state.
"The future is in movement, all is fleeting... I cannot pierce the veil, I cannot see what's ahead... Everything is clouded. My thoughts are harassed by an ominous sense of impending strife and turmoil..."
A shadow crosses his yellow and bloodshot iris.
"...The world is changing, that much I can... sense... don't you feel it, Malvus?"
His voice had turned a low whisper, like nails scratching concrete. Vallius closes his eyes for a moment. He returns to the present, the shadow gone for the time being, and looks to the book.
"Valuable lore. Whatever holocrons you create, Lord Malvus, shall be instrumental in teaching the future generations"
The Sith recollects his memories about contacting Caldoth earlier that day.
"Nothing. Just that the dead Sith are as proud as they were in life... and they don't share power. I couldn't wrestle anything from the Duro"

Malvus could see the irony in it. However...
A pirate that was a Skywalker. Even as a pirate, one should not doubt a member of that bloodline.
Krayt was an interesting Sith nonetheless. Unlike the majority of Sith Lords, Darth Krayt was not a power-mad schemer, but rather a man devoted to establishing lasting order and peace, at all costs. This, besides abandoning the Rule of Two, earned him the ire of the Sith spirits from before. Power was an end in itself and there was no other purpose. Krayt sought to break that mold and ensure it was fulfilled in order to build a galactic order with him as the Emperor.
I have felt the galaxy ever changing since I returned to the stars, Vallius. Its gears have never stopped... though many are ignorant of its continuation, it has never stopped for anyone. The Force is a secretive creature... sometimes impossible to understand the future ahead.
Malvus rose from his seat, picking up the tome from the table and heading to put it away.
I will be merely one of many that leave holocrons from this time, Vallius. One day, you will leave one or a few and they will prove invaluable to a potential Sith. We must merely prepare the way for the future of the Sith. For not all lives are immortal.
Malvus turns back to the Zabrak.
Has your father, the Sith'ari, given you your next assignment yet?

"The ways of the Force are mysterious, indeed. I shouldn't be troubled by it, but I do fear we're losing our way, somehow... And yes, I shall one day craft my own holocron, but that day is far off, Lord Malvus"His eyes follow the Jen'ari as he walked to put the tome in place. "None. He remains silent"Added the prince with evident anger. "I wither without nothing to do! Like a hidden thing kept a prisoner inside this obelisk"

Sometime after sending word to Uhtred and Darth Verenhimo.
Znalost walked throughout the Chambers of the Jen'ari, which were now his. It was a mess ancient tomes and scrolls just laying around cobwebs gathered throughout the shelves that housed even more tomes and scrolls. All he could do was grin, he was going to have a blast cataloguing all of the information that where within the Chambers. Znalost stood for a moment with a tome open, it was written in high Sith and lucky for him he was fluent in that language. While Znalost read and absorbed the knowledge from within, he started to plan his moves as the new Jen'ari. For starters they needed a Sith Academy here on Mustafar now that Iridonia and Korriban were lost to deserters and betrayers, of he did have one on Odacer-Faustin but that was where he was training his Sith loyal to him. The Imperium needed an Academy stationed on their Capital world, Znalost would have to draw up plans and ensure that the Sith'ari was informed of this plan. Then Znalost's mind trailed off going back and forth to actively reading the tome and planning his next moves. For if he wished to see his vision of a Galaxy ruled by Darkness then he would have to set things into motion and adjust things accordingly to what the Sith'ari had said about the coming days.

Znalost was reading an old tome that he had picked up off of a shelf when the doors to the chambers opened. He could hear the sound of someone with a heavy step enter and as well as the sound of someone much lighter in weight following behind the other. Znalost knew that the two entering his chambers were Darth Verenhimo and Uhtred. Znalost waited until before were in before speaking.
"Your assignment is a simple one, take Utapau for the Imperium and eliminate any resistance that you may encounter."
Znalost sighed before he continued speaking all the while still reading the tome.
"Darth Verenhimo, you will be in change of Naval aspect of this mission and Uhtred you will lead the ground assault."
Znalost closed the tome and turned around for the first time to face them to see if they had any questions for him.

Valafar had made his way to the chambers of the Jen'ari from the exterior landing pad and behind him was a young man dressed in Sith armor that had the appearance of the Sith Stalker armor. To Valafar it looked like the holo of Cain that he saw once while he served Xander on Rhommamool during his reign. Valafar noted that the design of the armor and how similar it was to that of Cain's armor was done on purpose, to strike fear into their enemies. Valafar entered the chambers and noted how dirty it was and then he saw Darth Znalost, pale green skin and tech sticking out of his head. His appearance was a bit unsettling and his presence was cold, dark and heavy. Once the young sith entered behind him, Darth Znalost spoke and gave them their mission. It wasn't surprising that they were going to conquer a planet at a time like this. The Imperium had to prove that it was still strong despite the departure of Malvus and his followers, and the betrayal of his cousin's son, Vallius. Valafar stared at Darth Znalost as he turned around faced both of them. Valafar raised an arm and placed it across his chest and bowed slightly and spoke to the Jen'ari.
:: It will be done, m'Lord. ::
Valafar waited a moment to allow the boy to speak before he raised his head and left the Jen'ari's Chambers. He would wait for Uhtred at the exterior landing pad. He was itching for a fight.

Uhtred followed behind the towering Zabrak as he entered the jen'ari's Chambers. Uhtred was surprised at how filthy the chambers were, but he also knew that the next time he saw them his uncle would most likely have upgraded and modified them to better suit himself. Uhtred wasn't surprised to see his uncle reading a tome or his appearance, he was glad that his uncle wasn't using his holo shroud anymore. He listened to his uncle as he told them their mission and that he was going to lead the ground assault on the planet, he had to admit that he was looking forward to fight and hoped that there would be some kind of resistance on Utapau. As Darth Verenhimo spoke and took his leave, Uhtred stayed behind a while longer looking at his uncle through his red tinted visor and then he bowed and left the Chambers and was soon following behind the towering Zabrak once again.

Znalost stood in the center of his chamber with cables that hung from the ceiling that were attached to his cybernetic ports atop of his head, these cables connected him the Imperium's database and the Intelligence network as well as his own severs. He or at least a digital version of himself was accessing information from across the Imperium networks and was using the information to build blueprints for new project ideas, such as Project Rebirth. That's when he received a notification from the throne room. The Empress had summoned him, Znalost quickly accessed the security feed to the throne room and replayed the last hour and witnessed what had transpired with the former Overseer. Znalost opened his black hollow eyes and the sound of the cables disconnecting could be heard echoing through out his chambers, he took in a deep breath and proceeded to exit his chamber and made his way to the throne room.
