Located within the grounds of the RDMC, The Arboretum consisted of two giant glass dome greenhouse buildings seperated from the main buildings, with additional reinforcements and hidden security measures. Within, was contained the arboretum of the Yuuzhan Vong Shaper known as Shedo Anor, where he could create and grow a variety of different biots, and develop new ones in safety, with the risk of escape or contamination limited by the measures in place

Shedo had continued his inspections of the various green sites across Honoghr, double checking the findings that the RDMC scientists had reported, to ensure that no new dangerous biot had slipped past their careful watch. He had also gathered a number of samples from the area's, making sure to get a large variety of test subjects so that he would not miss anything in his research, and would only seed non harmful strains. As it was, the safe areas seemed to be slowly expanding by themselves, which was good, because it meant that the strains to resist the trihex chemical were effective and could be used to cleanse Honoghr, but the rate they were going at was quite slow, which meant they would need a little helping hand.
But before any work on examination and experimentation could begin, Shedo spent a couple weeks getting moved into The Arboretum and getting it all set up for his purposes, as he set about growing a number of biots. Once the preparations were complete, and enough of the biots had been matured for his purposes, Shedo set about his work examning the various strains of plants, making sure to keep as close to the base plants as possible, and making sure that nothing dangerous or some new toxic plant was introduced to the eco system. He also examined a number of files that the RDMC was able to provide that concerned the Ossus Project, to help him bridge the gap and move his work along a little quicker

Several weeks had passed since the Honoghr Project had been launched and succeeded. Where before the planet had been covered in mostly wasteland, the green sites had been expanded across the surface. With such success, he had managed to gain the confidence and trust of the people that lived on Honoghr. There were still those with some bias against Yuuzhan Vong, but many had decided that Shedo was trust worthy enough. Which was good, because it made his life here easier, living in exile from his people. It also meant people occasionally came to him for some minor biot work. He limited just how extensive he went with the work he did. Not only to make sure someone could control what he gave them, but to also make sure people didn't think he was conducting some strange vongforming experiments to try take over
