As a side note. Are we gonna drop all the individual academy user groups and just put all the members into the central Jedi Order usergroup? And just set the Temples as multiple Faction HQs? Just seems pointless to leave all the individual academy usegroups if their only function is to allow us to have the Temples as Faction HQs. It's not pointless, the groups have other uses. But the real problem is going to be that you need 10 distinct members for each additional faction headquarters, and I don't think we have the 30 writers we would need for the Jedi Order usergroup to qualify for 4 separate faction HQ forums. So I expect to keep the CJO usergroup around. |

I bet you could ask a Whill to allow the CJO's faction HQ to remain, even if the usergroup disbands. I mean I really don't see why they would say no.

I'll explore the options. I don't really see what harm the groups do if they're active. But maybe we can start by getting rid of unused stuff, like the Jedi Watchmen group...?

I brought up possibly getting rid of the Watchmen group a while ago, so I would be perfectly fine with that. As is, I don't think the other groups should go away, the main branches. Could potentially remove the Felucian group and switch faction HQ permissions to the main Jedi Order group... If that hasn't already happened. I don't remember the permissions... but I'll think about/look into it later on.

The watchmen would be good to get rid of, as well as the Jedi Shadows usergroup. And pretty sure we only have Felucia and Corellia as Faction HQs at the moment. Yavin was turned into a regular location (from memory. If not, then it can be. Cause it's got all the threads it's ever going to need) and Coruscant has been abandoned.
In fact, you could drop the Yavin IV Jedi Praxeum since it's not active and I'm like the only person in it.
I mean, if there is some other advantage to keeping the individual academy usergroups around, then by all means. I was just suggesting we drop them if the only reason they were there was to grant us the HQs. Otherwise, it just seemed like a nicer look and smoother process for people if they didn't have to sort through a half dozen academy usergroups as well as joining the main Order one.

I will be sending an NPC Jedi Knight to Felucia soon, on a semi-permanent basis (so I have a character based there who can interact when needed). I meant to do that a long, long time ago. That way I can participate in stuff without time-splitting Kel'Al.
