Kalene watched wide-eyed as Ashara made her display at lifting the chair. It was a small display, barely anything to a strong practitioner of the Force, but to someone like Kalene, it was an amazing feat. She honestly felt like she was in a fairytale as everything she knew had just been turned upside down.
Her gaze shifted to her hands as the woman set the chair back down. Too amazed to speak and ask any other questions, her departure left the girl to ponder all that had just been said. Sitting on the bed, she continued looking at her hands, over to the chair, then back to her hands. The Forcespawn said that the Force flowed through everything, including her. So did that mean she could wield the Force too? Was she capable of such feats? Or was it still something only a chosen few could use? So many questions, yet she had no way of gaining her answers, at least for the night. Hopefully, when they toured the temple in the morning, she could find out more.
Laying down, it took a little while for sleep to find her due to her excitement and endless questions. But, in time, she finally was able to calm her mind and fall asleep.

True enough, the boy had done his research prior to his arrival at the Temple. However, Zion's answer wasn't something he had accounted for. All texts and recounts that he could find on this Master Zion Morviael revealed that, among the usual and expected warnings, he was long-lived and among a race of beings he had never heard of before. Upon his arrival to the Temple, he expected to find Zion to be closer to a hunched over, elderly man-type figure that looked, well, not human or anything like the man in front of him now.'Well kriff me sideways,' is what the boy wants to say, but holding on to some dignity, he swallows his initial reaction to the unfortunate news. The boy nearly sneers at Zion's comment about this not being a preparatory school or daycare, but with all the might that he had, he holds his tongue. In part, it's a glance of Ashara’s smile, revealing that she's clearly amused by the two's reaction, that keeps the boy a bit more composed than if Zion had come alone. All the same, he reiterates silently to himself that he didn't come to get kicked out within his first five minutes. Over and over again, he whispers that thought in his head like a mantra: play nice. With a nod of his head towards Zion now, the boy answers with a faint snark in his tones, If I desired some kind of daycare or preparatory school, I would've just enrolled in the Jedi Academy. He then shoves his hands in his pockets and offers a half-hearted shrug to the both of them.I came here because I want to fight for something bigger than myself. I wouldn't have rushed here the moment news broke the streets about this Order if I didn't believe that there was something here for me. His bright blue eyes then shifted wholly off of Ashara for perhaps the first time to lock eyes with Zion. For once, this boy carries a seriousness that aged him just enough to show at least some sense of maturity. While I believe I'm capable enough for this Order, it's ultimately your decision, sir. If you can put this rather rocky first impression behind you, I’d appreciate the chance to prove it to you. ===A Few Days Later=== Ashara looked back and forth between the two men, she could tell the boy wanted to prove himself and was looking for that chance. The Forcespawns gaze now lingered on Zion, she did not try and hide her opinion that they should give the boy a chance. But none of this was voiced. Only in her gold eyes and through a slight nudge in the Force. =Ashara=Give him a chance to show his worth. He could see the boy's shock as everything fell into place. But it was soon replaced by a struggle to maintain composure, as the boy sought to remain level-headed. Zion held the faintest of smirks as the new arrival snarked about joining the Jedi Academy. But his expression quickly returned to a more neutral state as the boy went on, explaining why he had come to the Temple. Despite how rocky things had been, the boy was clearly making an effort to impress.
His gaze shifted ever so briefly to meet Ashara's golden gaze. He already knew what she was going to advise even before she nudged him in the force. He gave a nod to her, before returning his attention to the boy. Weighing up his decision one last time as something nagged at him. Until at last he realised what it was. It was almost like looking at a younger version of himself, although not nearly as handsome as he had once been. Which was perhaps why he had been as harsh as he was initiallyOne month... If you can last that long, then perhaps there may yet be a place for you here... But I will not tolerate any smoking within the Temple. Understood? He paused a moment to let their new arrival process the information and agree to the termsGot a name, kid?

Ashara was sure to be up before dawn. Making her way through the temple she made not of all the things she should show Kalene on their tour, and how best to approach the topic of the younglings force sensitivity. Before long she was at Kalene's door, hitting the buzzer to alert her charge of that she was here.

The girl only found a few hours of sleep, the constant questions mulling about in the back of her mind, coaxing her awake once more. She tried a few times to daze off again, but to no avail. Unable to quell the thoughts within her mind, Kalene decided to shower and get ready for the day when Ashara would return.
As she finished, she sat on the edge of her bed, eyes fixed upon the chair as the feat the woman displayed played over and over within her head. Was it possible she could do the same? She could only hope. Her deep thoughts and focus proved to be a weakness for her in the moment for as Ashara arrived and pressed the buzzer, the girl jumped hard as the sound met her ears. Her heart began to race and breath quickened for a few seconds before she calmed herself.
Taking a final deep breath as she settled her nerves, she moved to the door and opened it, the Forcespawn standing there. "Good morning, Miss Ashara."

=Ashara= And good morning, Miss Kalene. I thought we would start our tour today with the dinning hall where we can acquire some breakfast?
Ashara was smiling warmly as she stepped back from the door way to allow Kalene to follow her. Though the Temple's halls were confusing to a first time visitor, with time they would be easy enough to follow. But as the walked, Ashara reached out with the Force and sensed the restlessness of Kalene's mind, the questions and that the poor girl had seemed to be near bursting point. Now that they had all day to talk, Ashara looked to her new companion.
=Ashara= I can sense your tension. You still have many questions don't you? Any that I can answer I will.

Kalene nodded with a smile before a slight growl eminated from her stomach. Her face turned slightly with embarrassment, though she easily laughed it off. "Sounds good! My stomach clearly couldn't agree more."
Kalene followed a beside Ashara, her gaze once again shifting about as she took in the temple's layout and design. So beautiful and extravagant, it was like something out of a dream to her. But it wasn't a dream. It was real and she was here. Just something she'd have to adjust to with time.
When the woman spoke of the tension, Kalene looked at her a bit surprised. Was she that easy to figure out? Or was it some ability of the Force to pick up on such things. It didn't really matter as she looked forward again, seeking to collect her thoughts. "It's just a lot to take in. Being here in this place, being asked to undertake such a task for it, and finding out that the Force isn't some fairy tale power. To think that it's a real thing, something that flows through everything. I can't help but wonder if I could be capable of using it and displaying such feats like you did last night or if its something I can only dream of."

Several days had past, since Zion had declared the founding of the Karabor Knights. It had all felt like such a surreal experience, to be there at the founding of an Order of Force Sensitives. Even though she had grown up aware of the strange mystical energy that binded all life together, she was still early in her training. Training which she was to undertake alongside Elizabeth Lionheart under Zion's tutelage.
It was under this premise, that she traversed the Temple's corridors to one of the workshop rooms. Despite the slightly cooler climate, Ayora still dressed in a light set of grey pants and shirt, over which was a very light weight robe. Her hair was tied back into three buns, to keep it clear of her line of sight. Her staff was slung over her shoulder, within reach in case anything might come up requiring her to defend herself.
She paused then, as she came to a stop at the door to the workshop, she could hear the muffled sounds of tools in use. She took a deep breath, calming herself, before activating the control on the door and stepping inside Uhh.... Hello?

Ashara wondered if this was the best time to reveal the truth to Kalene. But she would not lie to the child, and perhaps she had been too withholding. She stepped closer to the girl. Reaching out Ashara put a hand on the girls shoulder before kneeling down to look Kalene directly in the eye.=Ashara=Kalene, the simple answer: Yes, you are strong in the Force. So strong you appeared in a vision I had. I knew I had to seek you out, so I could bring you here, where your gifts could flourish and grow, just like your garden. I am sorry if me waiting till now to tell you seems less than honest. But I wanted to know you first, to see who you truly are. And I am so happy with who I see before me. Ashara waited to see the younglings response. She was nervous about the reaction, it had not been included in her visions.

It was something the girl had not been expecting. Had Ashara simply stated that she was capable of wielding the Force herself and would one day learn to use it just as the woman had the night before, Kalene would have grown excited, feeling that she'd be capable of learning something new alongside the job she had been sought out for.
However, this revelation brought with it a different thought, one that diminished the excited smile on her face as she looked into the Forcespawn's eyes. Strong in the Force? Seen in a vision? It brought with it such high expectations. There were a few moments of silence before the girl responded. "You saw me in a vision? What is that supposed to mean? You didn't bring me here to just work on the gardens?" Kalene's breath quickened as she spoke. She didn't know what to think of all this now. She had just learned that the Force was real and it could do something like lift a chair in the air. Now one could see visions? And she was in them? What did that mean for her? Was she sought out for some grand purpose than that she was expected to fulfill? With each thought, what had excited her began to scare her as it all began to seem so complicated and overwhelming.

Ashara could see that perhaps she had overshared, quickly she ushered Kalene to a nearby bench and sat her down. She still knelt down in front of the girl. Hands on each shoulder now, Ashara looked Kalene over.
=Ashara= Of course I brought you to work on our gardens, that is where your strength lies. Mine lies in the ability to see... things. The Force makes my path clear to me. The Force told me you were special, though I guarantee you would have discovered this gift before long for yourself. You- I am sorry if this is overwhelming. For all my life, as far as I remember, my life has been suffused with the Force. I forget that for some it is not the case. Please know, I only want the best for you, child, and would not have brought you here if I did not think it was.

Kalene let the woman guide her over to the bench, sitting down the moment she felt it brush up against the back of her legs. Though she continued to look at Ashara, her gaze sem to be lost into nothingness as the thoughts continued to surge through her head. It was one thing to pursue something because someone wanted to. But to be brought here and told she was seen in a vision and was strong in the Force turned everything from just eager fun in learning something new to bound to expectations.
But, as Ashara began to speak again, there was something that stood out to her that brought her back to reality. It did nothing to ease her breathing and rapid heartbeat, but it was a step in the right direction. "My strength in the gardens?" In any normal situation, it would have simply been passed off she was just good at growing plants. Maybe that was what it still was, but being followed by Ashara's talent in seeing visions in the Force made her wonder if there was something that the woman knew.

Ashara did not miss that of all the things she had said the girl reflected on the mention of the garden and her strength that lay there. She had to be delicate and not discount Kalene's skills as a gardener and make it sound like all her success was from the Force. Taking a deep breath and smiling again, she continued.
=Ashara= Yes, you have a natural gift. One that has been augmented and enhanced by your powerful connection to the Force. You're already considerable talent with things that grow has been aided by the Force. You could likely have achieved many of the great things with horticulture without the Force, but it would not have been as easy for you. You have a talent for nurturing and helping things grow, something that I obviously lack. Ashara aloud herself a small chuckle before continuing. You have an amazing gift, youngling. But if this is not the way you wish to learn it I will understand. Though I hope you stay here, with our Order, so that you may learn and grow! There is far too much destruction in this galaxy, it is refreshing to see someone who can bring life back into it.

As the words fell upon her ears, Kalene's breathing slowly began to smooth itself out. She had a natural talent for giving life? What did that really mean in the end? But as she wondered those thoughts, her mind shifted to her garden and those she had helped build before. So vibrant and alive, more than what anyone else was able to manage, even with the advice she gave them. She realized now that, somehow, her ability to wield the Force naturally aided in the growth of those flowers. The choice and interest in it was her's and the time taken to learn how to do it properly was real as well. But it only awakened this natural talent within her.
Looking down, her eyes locked upon her own hands. She had never noticed before and even now still couldn't tell, but she had been using the Force all this time. That power, like Ashara said, was within her. Bit by bit, the thought of expectations began to fade and the desire to learn once again returned with a slow fire. Taking a deep breath, she looked back at the woman. "I want to know more about this power and how to use it. I want to know why I seem to have this natural ability to makes things grow."

A slight smile returned to Ahsara's face. She was glad to here Kalene wanted to learn more, though the question she asked was hard to answer right away. Though the Forcespawn would be as helpful as she could. She stood back up and offered a hand to Kalene.
=Ashara= Come, we still must have our first meal of the day. You cannot begin training on an empty stomach.
Ashara then lead Kalene the rest of the way to the dinning hall. Once there they had a wide option of food to select from to start there day. Ashara, selected some toasted bread and jam for herself and once Kalene had acquired her food, lead her to a table where they could speak in private.
=Ashara= You are in the right place to learn how to use your powers, I am not the only Force user here, and likely not even the strongest in the conventional sense. And as far as 'Why' you have the gift you have, well, that is no easy question. It is one that I am sure the Force will reveal to you in time, after much study and training. I am still not sure why I was crea- Catching herself before saying 'created' ... Given my gifts. But the Force always has a reason, perhaps it is so that you may help restore balance after the many wars the First Order has waged, or maybe something else entirely. But I will help guide you down the path so that you may learn what you need to. Ashara paused to take a few bites of food and let Kalene think on what she had said.

Giving a nod, Kalene stod and followed behind Ashara as they moved to find something to eat. As her mind started soothing itself out, her stomach once again expressed its displeasure in lacking sustenance. Upon arrival, she was surprised to see just what all was available for them to eat. Never had she dreamed that such a spread could be possible at one time. Still, she restrained herself from diving into nearly all she saw and picked a few bits of fruit and some eggs with toast.
Arriving at the table away from others, she sat down and began to eat as Ashara began to explain the best she could about her ability. In the end, it seemed her question had no answer, at least, none the woman could give. In summation, the Force was but a mystery none really understood, not even the why as to who could use it and why certain individuals were gifted were natural talents. "I see." She then took a drink of her juice before continuing. "So all I can do is train and the answer will someday become clear to me?"

=Ashara= The Force affects us all differently, and works in mysterious ways. Even with my visions, my ultimate destiny has not been made known to me yet. Perhaps it was to find and train you? There is no way for us to know until the Force makes the purpose known to us. I know it can seem disappointing now to not know, but as with all things, it is the journey that will shape us not the destination. As long as you listen to the Force, and follow its will, your answer will indeed become clear to you.
Ashara had not expected to start the day with a mini-seminar on the Force over breakfast. As composed and calm as she seemed, she still hated mornings. The woman was hoping her words were making sense to Kalene, though if they weren't, they would in time, after the youngling had more training under her belt.

Kalene listened intently as she ate. The thoughts of doubt and fear had faded away and the curious little girl was back once more. She hung onto every word, soaking everything up like a sponge. It all made sense, though the fustrating aspect of not truly knowing one's purpose in the Force was a tad bit irritating. But that just meant she could live as she felt until such a time came. "All we can do until such a time is what we feel is best and right?"
She then thought back on her ability to make things grow and her flowers. It was something that she felt was a part of her being. As such, she wondered if there was anything that could utilize her love of plants. "Is there anything regarding plants that people like us can do?"

Smiling now. Ashara was pleased at how easily Kalene seemed to be grasping Force Philosophy.
=Ashara= Yes, exactly. We must follow our hearts, to do what is best for the universe as a whole. Right now the Galaxy is still recovering from the devastating war between the First Order and Galactic Alliance. So we must aide it how we can, by being healers, guardians, or just a stable presence in the lives of the people. As far as your abilities with plant life goes, their are many things. You can greatly increase the speed at which things grow and manipulate how. Allowing you to cause vines or roots to rise up and entangle those who seek to do you harm. And we have observed how you can make growing things flourish, and exceed their normal limits. Now imagine helping a peoples through a drought. You could make their harvests perhaps yield three fold what they normally get! Once you are finished eating, I will take you to the archives, where we may learn more about your abilities.

He paused a moment to let their new arrival process the information and agree to the termsGot a name, kid? Sure enough, the tension was thick in the air as the boy awaited a response from Zion. Not like Ashara's gaze upon the older man went entirely unnoticed, which helped ease some of that weight on his shoulders. Given his answer a beat later, the boy was certain she was meddling in some fashion or another, which only further piqued his interest in her. He wondered if Zion's answer would've been different had she not been present. The further he delved down that route, the more obvious it became, signalling a slight yet humorous-to-him shudder. These were all curious ponderings that had no real meaning, though. What was said and done, was the outcome he was hoping for. A month is more than enough time, sir. And on what little honor I have left, I pledge that I'll not act in any fashion that will be viewed as defiling the Temple in the future. The boy bows again, however adjusting his stance to directly face Zion this time. A quick motion, which elicits a worried coo from the droid still stationed on the ship. Typically, he'd rather deal in handshakes than such formalities. All things considered, though, he knew he was on thin ice as it was, so formality it was.Matthew Di'Nova, at your service, he introduces with a sly smile. Naturally, introductions aren't necessary for the Zion Morviael… Matthew gestures grandly with a hand towards Zion before he fixes an intrigued gaze once again upon Ashara. His otherwise easy going nature urges him to take a step closer towards the pair, but after shifting a foot forward, he instead holds himself firmly in place. Still on thin ice, he reminds himself. Thin. Ice. However, he couldn't be entirely controlled so easily, and offers a wink towards the woman by Zion's side as he continues....but may I ask the name of the beautiful creature who accompanied you today?

Any eye brow raised as Matthew Di'Nova turned. Ashara knew what the boy meant with his turn of phrase, but it would be no less fun to make him sweat just a little bit more. Feigning insult, Ashara rest a hand on her chest as if wounded. Then, in the most offended voice she could muster:
=Ashara= Is that all you see when you look at me? A creature? A monster? Simply because I am something you have never seen before you think- you think- She couldn't finish the sentence as she started giggling at the no doubt panicked face of Matthew. After a moment to let that sink in she said replied. My name is Ashara. And it will take more than flattery and flowery words to win me over.
