The Mandos may have gone to pieces as a group, but Cag is here and active. When the Mandos come back in force, I will be here for that time to help and support the aliit.

I'm trying to think who else I've seen active recently. Spectre is Mand'alor now. He should be around somewhere. And I think Cuyan Harangir (Reyn's new char) and Jan'ika Fett are active.

Well I am on a smartphone currently so I won't be doing much. But I'm going to try to get an SL started on Kashyyyk. Maybe a Mandalorian Colony created by the dissolve of the ME? Anyone contact me if interested

After working out some issues, I am back. Neassa is active too Plu. We are running the Draykon crew for the time being, if you want to back us up on Kessel freeing some slave, you guys are more than welcome.

Hmm, Neassa and I need to work out our backstory before she meets Plu again in-universe, but I will keep that in mind.

You all will have to forgive me for the poor grammar and bad spelling for now. It's hard to type and check my post before I press the reply button on this damn Iphone

Removing the taboo against force users? How inspiring. I am sure it will not make the mandalorians even more of a laughingstock then they are already.

Against their own people? With a little time no. OOC? That remains to be seen and requires more activity and involvement. It's up to the Clan leaders to do what they feel is right for their Clans. Lifting the taboo removes loses to the other factions because they are afraid to be found out and shunned. People can still look down on those who solely depend on the Force, but not their own Vode. But that's just how I feel. Strength in numbers and all that jazz.

Plu will eventually be losing his (top secret and carefully concealed) Force sensitivity.

You will be a better mando for it. Force use cheapens us.

You will be a better mando for it. Force use cheapens us. I agree, but I did not know any better when I designed the character and built in a lengthy Force-based back story. Plu wasn't even supposed to be a Mandalorian originally. Now I'm stuck with it! But as a point of honor, Plu will never use the Force for personal gain against a non-Force sensitive. Much of what has happened to Plu over the last 5+ years of IC time will be covered in a JOTW, from when he gave up the Helm, until the "present day." And he will be a very different man(do) at the end of it all.

I agree. It takes away from our identity if we allow force users. I mean really that's what separates us from everyone else. But I'll go with whatever

Eh, the admiral is still technically a forcie (though one that has very carefully controlled that info, much like plu has), then again he started off as a Sith character so... Then again the greatest strength of the mandos has always been their ability & willingness to accept anyone that acts like a mando as a mando.

The way I see it, it cheapens us NOT to use it. It's precisely like going into battle without your buy'ce because you think it weakens you spiritually. Any Mando worth their salt knows how to be a marksman, but sniper has that special ability to go beyond. Try to think of the Force as weapons training, when a Mando and a Forcie fight, and you strip away the Force the Mando is still a Mando. The Forcie has nothing. Take away their favorite weapon and they become useless while we remain warrior Mando'ade. We lost the Crusade because we broke with our normal tradition of taking prisoners and turning them into Mando'ade because of our taboo. I say it's time to fight fire with fire so to speak. Besides, I'm trying to unify ALL of Aliit Skirata, which includes Honoghr AND evolve our people. The Sloth God has sunk it's fangs into our hearts with prejudice and superstition. Change is painful, but inevitable. If not we become extinct like our Taung ancestors.

I have a slightly light side/neutral clone of Turly that I think could be a cool Mando, and with some Mandos on Kashyyyk already it's deff an easy storyline to add in

And by that I mean, there is literally no argument you can make for this that I have not heard a hundred times before. This is not my first redal, ner'ad. We lost the crusade because it was the wrong time OOC and IC to start a fight with everyone else in the galaxy. Part of what draws people to mandalorians is the fact they are different than jedi and sith and don't use magic. In D&D terms they are pure fighter builds. This is just an opener, I am hoping I don't have to go into all the ways that Mandalorians using force powers are powergaming munchkins, I trust you can see those for yourself.
