-Z'har Thank you for the explanation. I will attempt to remember that if it ever comes up again. My reason for visiting is simply that I am on vacation.
That was of course true, though it did leave out that Z'har never completely ignored his other tasks.
-Z'har I have visited other Temples in the past, & I find their records simple marvelous. I am a bit of a lover of knowledge. The Hall of Knowledge on Yavin 4. The dark corridors of Korriban. I have even had a chance to study some of the scrolls recovered from the ruins of the Ossus Temple after it was sacked.

*Jade entered the Archives and began looking around. She had been on her way back to the training area when she decided to have a change of plans. She understood combat well enough from her training with her father. All she needed was to adapt to using lightsabers, which she felt was going fairly well. She knew how to use the most basic of abilities with the Force, but knew there was much more to learn, about the Force and different techniques. However, she didn't have the understanding necessary to continue on by herself in this matter. All that was left was to study, history among other things, to help give her more insight into the Force and the Jedi.
She began to look around, unsure of were to start. If one was experienced and new what they wanted, this would have been easier. But for her, it wasn't. She didn't know what she wanted to achieve other than learning to use her power and abilities to help others. There were many ways to do so, medical, teaching, political, or protecting. Being a warrior seemed like the path she'd choose, but that was just what she had learned in her early years with her father and mostly as a means to help take care of herself and others if needed. It didn't do anything to help her figure out what she wanted to do. Perhaps that time would have come if her family hadn't been taken from her, leaving her to wonder and wander, deciding whether or not to come here.
She closed her eyes and tightened her fists as she thought about that day, watching her father being run through with a blade while holding her already dead mother. She could feel the anger beginning to swell, with the energy of the Force rising and trying to take shape. She shook her head and took a deep breath, letting the anger subside. After a moment, she relaxed and continued on, searching through the books.*

I have even had a chance to study some of the scrolls recovered from the ruins of the Ossus Temple after it was sacked. "Vacation," Nala confirmed quietly, "Corellia does have some interesting places to visit, though I was not aware it had become a sought-after holiday environment."
She supposed she should spend some more time keeping up with the local news broadcasts, but it felt like there just weren't enough hours in the day. Perhaps this clerk was simply one of the myriads of people obsessed with the legends surrounding the Jedi. The Twi'Lek had never been to Yavin IV, and most definitely not to Korriban.
"What was Ossus like?" she inquired, to distract from a thought that had just struck her. Five traveled extensively, and she was an 'information broker' to put it politely. In spite of the fact that she felt some kind of affinity to the woman, she couldn't help feeling that Master Raganella had welcomed a spy into the Academy. She just hoped everything didn't blow up in his face at some point down the line. After all, Five ostensibly wanted...revenge. And the Jedi were aiding in that. T'chunn twitched against her collarbone uneasily.

*As she made her way around the Archives, she had noticed a few others around, particularly Nalatua'lin and Z'har. Bu she made no attempt to interact. They looked to be involved in conversation and it would be rude to try talking to either at the moment.
One thing that amazed her about the Archives was how much information was here. Not only that, but also having real books instead of solely terminals full of data. Making her way around, she ended up settling on a book that spoke of the Force as it was, accounts from years past, the study and understanding of it from those who came before. She figured it was as good a place as any to start. It was the thing she understood the least, so some extra study could only prove useful. Making her way over to an empty table, and began to read.*

For some reason Z'har felt like the last question was a trap. That & the Twi'lek seemed worried about something
-Z'har Can't really say. I've never actually set foot on the planet.
Which was, strictly speaking, true. Most of his part in the utter destruction of the Jedi forces on the Ossus had been limited to shattering fleets & directing orbital fire on the enemy ground positions. While a portion of his troops had landed, Z'har hadn't left the bridge of his flagship.

Ordinarily Nala would simply have let it slide. In fact, she didn't answer immediately, instead taking stock of the people nearby. The closest would have been Jade Hanac, though the young woman looked involved in whatever she was currently reading.
"Excuse me then, but, how and where did you find the Ossan scrolls, Mr Desmond?"
She couldn't help feeling that he'd left something rather important out, though the skill with which he'd sidestepped her question almost hinted at diplomatic training on some level. The Rutian Twi'Lek folded her arms in front of her, shapely tchunn curling across the top of her left arm. Her question wasn't meant as an accusation, though he might interpret it that way.
Her comlink went off with an alert from the infirmary. Evidently company was incoming and they had requested a medical team to meet them. She quickly sent orders for the standby med team to meet her on the way to the hangar and turned to her companion.
"It seems there is some kind of emergency in the hangar, you are welcome to come with me." Up until a certain point. If surgery was required obviously he would have to find something else to occupy his time.

-Z'har I had the chance to meet a collector that had bought several from a Mandalorian.
Also technically true, Z'har had met a collector, as he had sold off several of the more common pieces. At that moment the woman's comm chimed. After hearing her explanation, Z'har nodded & motioned for her to lead the way.

*Jade closed the book with a heavy sigh. She wasn't the biggest on reading, there was so much that lay before her. Rubbing her temples, her mind tried to process the information it had taken in. The was so much to know, and yet, so much unknown. In the end, all she felt she could do was reach out an attempt to grow, expand upon what she felt, use her imagination to take things farther.
Getting up from her seat, she returned the book to its home on the shelf before making her way back to the training area.

=Miri'ya Ta'ya= Among the quiet shelves and shelves of holobooks that comprised the largest wing of the Corellian Jedi Archives, the diligent Bothan Jedi Master searched for any available volumes on the Eye of Palpatine, in response to a request by a visiting Jedi from Glee Anselm. Superweapons were a highly restricted topic, and Ta'ya would personally vet the contents before allowing the visitor to read the details (under supervisions). Her cream-colored fur rippled as she moved quickly from one stack to the next, and was rather suddenly rearranged as she passed an air vent. So far, she's found almost nothing worth presenting to her guest, aside from one small treatise on Imperial propulsion systems experiments. But she did not allow the failure to affect her, rather, she patiently continued the search.

As it is my custom to arrive early for any meeting I arrange or am tasked with attending, I arrive at the doors leading to our archives several minutes early for the informal meeting I have invited Master Lyndon to come to. Remaining within sight of the doors to ensure that I see Master Lyndon when he arrives, or that he sees me when he does so, I take a moment to walk down a few of the shelves which, rather than datacards or discs, contain actual books, tomes, volumes, and in some instances carefully preserved scrolls, for I have always enjoyed the smell of those relics of another time, have always found their varying textures, colors, and appearances more comforting and appealing that the cold uniformity of the datacards and discs upon which so much of the accumulated knowledge our Order has amassed have been transferred to. I have always preferred the turning of pages to the scrolling of pixelated words or images upon the screen of a dataterminal.
Running a finger along the top of a row of leather bound volumes chronicling the early days of the Jedi Order, I smile when I find no traces of dust; Master Saturnia's thorough, attentive care of the archives permitting no collection of dust or other potential hazards to the artifacts and records under her care, and then continue down the shelf as I await Master Lyndon's arrival.

*Verook arrived at the Archives of the Jedi Academy on Corellia. He was scheduled to have a private conference with Master Serrin Roma here about his first mission as a member of the Corellian Jedi Order. As he entered the Archives, he noted the impressive volumes of scrolls, tomes and manuscripts. Master Roma was also here, perusing the Archives while she waited for his arrival.*
"Master Roma. I'm here now. Let us discuss what have in mind for my first mission."

Accustomed to adjusting verbal and conversational patterns to better mesh with those I am communicating with, and having spent enough time with Master Lyndon to know that he prefers adhering solely to the more salient topics of any discussion with little to no deviations for tangental or unrelated matters, I avoid any of the banter or personal inquiries that others might find necessary to address before moving on to the heart of the matter at hand, merely inclining my head in lieu of a more formal greeting before diving right in to the discussion, "I believe, Master Lyndon, that it might be best to begin the shoring up of ties to other Jedi outposts and Light sided organizations that we had spoken of previously. In light of what Master Franz has brought to our attention, it seems to me that the need to strengthen old ties, and to seek potential new allies is more pressing than ever, hmmm? The question largely rhetorical, I move on without a pause, asking, Have you any thoughts as to where you might be best served beginning that undertaking?"

*Verook responded almost immediately with a curt but well-intentioned reply. *
"I have no discriminations about the matter. I would be willing to go to wherever my assistance is most critically required. Though I understand Dantooine may require significant aid in rebuilding after the Sith attack?"
*He appreciated Master Roma's aversion to small talk — probably just for his benefit, but it was accommodating all the same.*

Resting my chin atop the knuckles of my right hand as, arching the ridge of muscle over my left eye in thought, I ponder what Master Lyndon has suggested. After mentally recalling what I know of the present situation on Dantooine, I nod and reply, "Dantooine will indeed be in need of as much assistance from the Order and other free worlds as they can get in the wake of the recent assault. As you may already be aware, I continue with a frown as much pained as saddened, the Jedi Enclave was utterly destroyed in the attack on Dantooine, with only perhaps a handful of Jedi, fighting alongside rebellion forces in Garang and elsewhere, surviving. Closing my eyes briefly and taking a deep breath to prevent my thoughts from dwelling on the losses suffered, I go on, Yes, I believe you could serve Ashla and the Order quite well were you to travel to Dantooine. Offering what little guidance I have, I suggest, Garang would be the best place to go, explaining, The leaders of the Rebel forces established their headquarters in Garang, and it is there you would also be most likely to encounter any surviving Jedi."

*Verook nodded slightly to her recommendation of travelling to Garang. What had happened on Dantooine was a tragedy, indeed. They would require as much assistance as possible, and as quickly as possible.*
"The situation on Dantooine is dire. I will leave at once, attempt to find any surviving Jedi, and work with the local authorities to rebuild."
*A polite bow, then:*
"Farewell, Master Roma. May the Force be with you."

Returning the bow, I tell Verook, "May Ashla guard and guide you, Master Lyndon. Fare thee well."
Smiling as, clearly not one to allow much of a gap between decision and action, Verook bustles away with the purposeful stride I have come to associate with him, I feel the smile fade as I think of what it is that Verook is likely bustling purposefully towards. His will not be an easy task, but from what I have seen of Verook, his intent and focused nature will serve him well.
Feeling my age for a moment, I glance around the archives, recalling all the time I have spent in them studying, researching, planning operations, or even simply reading for the pleasure of it; the memories of those stories of my past are, by and large, fond ones, lent a bitter undertone at times when the recollections involve absent friends, or comrades that have been lost of who have fallen. Chuckling to myself for indulging in the brief introspective moment, I remind myself that I am not so old yet that I should let my mind wander so, and stride from the archives to make my way to Anya's office to see what tasks or duties, administrative or otherwise, the day has in store for me.

Knowledge.
Knowledge.
Knowledge...!
With a big inhale through his blue nostrils, a tall-sized Chiss strode in with all the purpose in the world, halting right after the opened gaping doorways with folded arms in billowing typical Order robes. Soon enough, with a red sweeping gaze beneath his hood, the individual looked over the vast interior welcoming his appreciative presence, the Chiss gesturing next with widened arms and a clean grin. Ah he loved the smell of fresh books, history waiting to be read and learned; passed over for the next generation and yonder. The Jedi Knight ventured further within, proceeding downwards to whatever the Force deemed would occupy his writing habits this fine day.

Felix Dixon had a hard time thinking of himself as a Jedi Knight. It had been over a month since he had officially been knighted but that particular aspect of his life still seemed surreal to him. Thankfully he was in the archives, the only place in the Jedi Academy where he felt most at home. The lanky Corellian man of 22 years made his way almost instinctively through the shelves of real books, straightening books and making sure everything was in it's proper place. For him it was a form of meditation, the smooth routine giving him time to center himself and truly feel the force around him. To his surprise he almost walked headfirst into a Chiss visitor. Stumbling slightly with the small stack of books in his hands he gives a somewhat awkward bow to the newcomer. Realizing how ridiculous he must look, his green Corellian robes wrinkled, and his shaggy brown hair almost falling in front of his rather ordinary glasses, he somehow manages to still sound formal as he tries to greet the Chiss properly. Welcome to the Corellian Jedi Academy Archives. I am Felix Dixon, one of the archivists here, what can I help you with today?

Blinking rapidly once regaining composure from the accidental clash, Dust regarded the evidently younger man before him followed with a small bemused smile and his own short, casual bow in return. "Greetings... Felix if I may call you? I am Knight Dust Star." There was little formality in the Chiss' own tone; moreso an air of casual friendly politeness. "I've recently transferred from Felucia and became of hopeful of becoming more acquainted with the vast archives which had been well regarded by many among our fellow Order." Pushing down his own hood and letting the black shiny hair flow down afterwards, Dust tilted his head, considering the young fellow Jedi with a note of amusement next. "I suppose our bump into one another could be considered the Force's will, wouldn't you say?"

The younger man laughed a little, a clear and friendly sound. I'll take that over chalking it up to my clumsy nature. He grins at the other man for a moment before turning and carefully placing an old copy of "Wayward Wanderings" on the shelf, returning things to the nearby shelf hardly looking, with his concentration focused mostly on the unusual Chiss he had just run into. Our Archives are extensive, we boast a higher volume of paper than any other academy and our databases are almost unmatched. Is there anything in particular you wish to study? We have an extensive history of Corellia and it's jedi traditions as wel as Jedi history in general. Of course if you're looking for knowledge not connected to the order we all sorts of volumes on just about any subject you can imagine, you could spend your life here and keep discovering new knowledge. His voice is laced with pride, as if that is exactly what he intends to do with his life.
