Still peering from behind Atlantis as he had grown shy, especially when he had recognized Saoirse, whom the Headmaster confirmed to indeed be the Midfielder of the Umgul University bolo-ball team, Nick was just shy and silent, despite the teasing from Atlantis he still hid behind the taller man even if he had squatted down. "Hello," Shyly greeting Saoirse back and coming out of his reserve, especially when he noticed that one of the Star players squatted down as well, he detached himself more from Atlantis while he kept on smiling and nodding at her question in affirmation when she asked him if he was a Limmie fan. His eyes widened and his mouth grew to an O when Saoirse signs the ball and holds it for him to take, which got him to look at Atlantis, who had nodded. Nick looked back at Saoirse with another wide smile and stepped forward to take the ball with both of his hands. "Really? Thank you so much, ma'am!" His eyes lit up with happiness, and he even grinned before imitating her gesture putting his finger up to his mouth. "It'll be our secret!" Giggling in happiness and he got closer to Saoirse, without even asking for permission like he usually does, he gave her a hug as a thanks before stepping back and looking guilty. "Sorry, I should have asked first if I could hug you..." Nickala pouted and looked at the ball he securely held again with both hands. He nonetheless soon felt a hand on his shoulder, and looked at Atlantis who seemed to still be smiling.
"It's okay, Nickala" Atlantis reassured him softly before glancing at Saoirse with a warm smile. "At least you did realize that, and no one can fault you for showing your appreciation for being given a gift." Atlantis knew he wouldn't at all, and he pretty much was certain that Saoirse wouldn't either. At least he hoped she did not mind that. Atlantis kept looking at Nick still with that reassuring smile. It wasn't a brainer that Atlantis liked all the younglings in this Academy, they all brought a certain energy with them, plus several of them loved to learn different subjects, and they were always curious about things. Which actually made Atlantis even more patient than he already was before, also a reason why he never hesitated to answer questions that came his way, as long as those questions only concerned him, and not others.
Glancing at Saoirse once more with a knowing smile and slowly blinking his eyes as a thanks, he knew that she had made Nick's day with that gift. "As you have picked up indeed, this is Nickala, or Nick, he loves Limmie, and usually when Ryan, a doctor at the Hospital in the City, isn't too busy, is here, he and Nick with a few others like to play some Limmie, or even watch some of your games." Atlantis explained knowingly before glancing at the two younglings who were still looking for something on the ground. "The Bothan there is Cih, and the one with her is Tach." He informed her with a knowing grin. "They are still in that discovery phase on what they potentially want to do, so we have been teaching them the basics of the the Core powers for now."
"FOUND IT!" She declared loudly and held up what seemed to a marble between her index finger and thumb while Tach groaned next to her before she poked her tongue out at him. Remembering where she was and who was here, Cih looked back at the Headmaster and the visitor before marching towards them with Tach in tow. "Thank you, Master Vyridian." Finally seeing the newcomer too, and while she wasn't a Limmie fan, Cih did not recognize her at all. "Welcome to the Mist Order Academy."
Atlantis still had that dubious expression on his features and looked at the three of them and his gaze fell upon Tach as if willing the Ugnaught to tell him what was going on but Cih had been the first one to pick that up so before Tach could get a word in, she start filling Atlantis on why they were here.
"We were wandering earlier here, and Rikki dropped the marble, and since the mists were all around, and the Masters are all teaching, we had to wait for you to come back."
"I see, well I am glad that you have found it, and offered to help Rikki to get it back. Atlantis chuckled softly and looked at the three of them, he guessed that he could be seen like a father figure especially to some that had been in the Academy because they had been abandoned due to their affinity. "Why don't you three go inside, and resume your activities, while I give the tour to Saoirse here of the Academy." Atlantis suggested softly while Nick seemed to keep having that look of wonder at Saoirse, he bowed again just like the two others and scurried back inside the Academy. Atlantis stood back up to his fullest, and helped Saoirse up as well if she needed and grinned knowingly.
"You have made Nick's day, thank you for that" Atlantis grinned at the departing figures of the younglings who were happily chatting on their way inside. With Atlantis no longer needing to hold the mists back, he entirely released his hold from the mists and let them to creep back onto the grounds. "As you have heard from Cih, we are called the Mist Order." Atlantis finally said out of the blue as he started to walk towards the entrance of the Academy. "But that aside, you must have many more questions, which I will be happy to answer. So please, don't hesitate at all."

Saoirse smiles and nods when Nick thanks her for the gift, and hugs him tight when he comes in for one, "No problem, little guy! Hugs are always welcome! You can have one anytime. Looking up at Atlantis when he explains that a doctor from one of the city hospitals sometimes comes to the academy and plays Limmie with Nick and some of the other younglings, Saoirse says, That's really cool. Remembering he has said that some farmers donate food at times, she adds, It sounds like your academy is really a part of the community, huh?" Saoirse hasn't had any experience with Jedi, but had always just though that Jedi would be sequestered and a bit aloof, but it is sounding like she had that wrong. It makes sense though, that if the Jedi are about helping others they would need to know who it was they were helping to know what they needed. The thought is a comforting one, and Saoirse is glad to know that if she does decide to become a Jedi it won't mean she removes herself entirely from normal society.
"Why thank you, Cih! Saoirse says with a smile when the young Bothan girl, who had been looking for a marble another student had lost earlier, welcomes her to the Mist Order Academy, and then waves to her and the others after Atlantis sends them inside. See you guys later! Nice meeting you all!"
Smiling when Atlantis says she made Nick's day, Saoirse shrugs his thanks away, "It was nothing. He's cute. They're all cute. Taking Atlantis' hand and letting him help her to her feet even though she could have made it up without him, Saoirse gives him a bow once she's standing, Why thank you, Master Vyridian."
As they start walking towards the academy entrance, Saoirse purses her lips in thought after Atlantis asks if she has any more questions, and after a moment asks, "You mentioned that you're teaching them the Core powers? What are those? Saoirse isn't sure whether she will be learning those first, or since the younglings have been training longer, will be learning other things before they get to them, and so asks, Is that what I'll be learning too, or will we be starting with something else? Remembering something else Atlantis had said earlier, about the younglings having not decided yet what they might want to do, Saoirse adds another question immediately afterwards, Oh, you said they hadn't decided what they might do yet, right? What did you mean by that? Are there different. . . jobs that Jedi do? What kinds of jobs? When do they have to make that decision? Before they finish training, I guess, so that they can learn what they need to do their Jedi job? Realizing she is asking a bunch of questions again without giving Atlantis time to answer them, Saoirse smiles and says, Sorry. So many questions, right? I'll stop there. . . for now."

It was with an amused smile that Atlantis had looked a Saoirse when she called him Master Vyridian, and he even inclined his head in the process before leading her towards the Academy's entrance where the mists were still ventilated in but only a centimeter on the grounds. Atlantis closed his eyes briefly to get a sense of who was actually here, since Cih had mentioned to him that the Masters were all teaching. They were several Masters in the Academy and wondered which ones actually, but before he even tried to get a sense, Atlantis just disregarded in finding out and figured he would find out sooner or later in any case.
Stopping briefly to a face one of the doors that would lead them to a garden where a pond was located and some flora, Atlantis pushed the door open, the mists were omnipresent here, but he pushed another button to evacuate the mists from the whole area so that they are greeted by pastures, and some plants that were growing. A few millaflowers were around, along with some fruit trees, and several other varieties that the students cared for here. He figured he would take Saoirse here to begin with so that she could sort out her questions peacefully and potentially also not be distracted by whatever classes were being taught currently.
"Like I have said, you are welcome to ask me anything at any given time. I'll be happy to reply. But first," Atlantis looked at her with a warm smile and gestured his hand to the side while the machine gradually cleared the mists from the garden, there were some sitting areas, and he led her there just to sit. "Please, sit down, and if I first took you here to the garden, it's because it's one of the peaceful places here and I do not know currently which Masters are here, but depending on which ones, it can be distracting." He had an amused grin on the corner of his lips. How he currently was reacting to that didn't mean trouble at all, but based on experience, even if Atlantis wasn't overtly expanding his awareness to the Force, he could still feel some shockwaves whether he liked it or not.
Drumming his fingertips on his chin and just remembering her questions in order, Atlantis closed his eyes briefly to order his own thoughts correctly in order to answer her correctly, so that she could understand easily without being confused at all. "The Force has a range of powers that can be divided into three categories, that are control, and not in the sense of controlling a person with a mind trick, more control of one's self, your own body." He started to say and explain, then remembering to make this easier for her to understand, he'd use some analogies that she would grasp right away. "One of them would be Force Speed, which you have already tapped into, inadvertently." It was true, he had seen her at her game when she had a slight burst of speed to avoid an opponent. "The second aspect would be sense which again you have had some experience with when you expanded your awareness to the Force earlier, I am sure you could feel some currents some bright, some faint. Then the last but not least, is alter in which Telekinesis falls under." Atlantis knew that probably he was feeding her plenty of information at the same time, but he hoped that with the examples he had taken based on her recent experiences at least, it would be easier for her to follow.
"The Core powers are those: Control, Sense and Alter, and in each of those categories, there plenty of branches you can orient yourself in, and even perhaps specialize in. So yes, you'll be learning that too as it's the first step, the literally first lessons taught in order to understand better the Force and where it can lead you." Atlantis paused a moment to let her take in the information he had provided her now. The Force did open a lot of possibility for a single person depending on what they wanted to explore or what core power they wanted to focus on. "A Jedi, or an apprentice now, can be taught the basics, but perhaps, depending on the person they might not want to pursue it entirely but just learn on how to control it so they do not cause any incidents or harm inadvertently someone else. But if they so wished to continue their training, they can either end up as Jedi Investigators, thus they focus on detective work, in preventing crimes. Or some can become Historians, or Librarian, they usually safe guarded the archives, and holocrons that can be acquired. Or there are some that will prefer to serve as Consulars, studying diplomacy and science. There are Guardians, where their forte will be in battle, and the Sentinels, who are combination of the two I have just mentioned, and they are the ones who will like working with every day citizens, they have knowledge whether in cybersecurity, law or anything, but are also skilled combatants in their own rights." Atlantis stopped there for now as perhaps indeed that was a long winded answer to her questions, but he truly wanted to broach out the difference approach to let her know at least that being a Jedi didn't mean sticking to a sedentary life at all.
Atlantis' roles had blended so much throughout the years of his existence, and wondered what category he'd fit in right about now...

Saoirse is a little surprised when, after entering the academy, the mists are present even inside. When she and Atlantis first enter, the mists are only about toe high, and when she looks closer towards the floor Saoirse sees that there are vents near the bases of the walls that let the mists in. When Atlantis opens a door and heads inside, at first Saoirse can't make anything out because of the mists, which in this particular room fill it, making it feel like being outside. Smiling when Atlantis pushes a button, which causes the mists to dissipate, Saoirse looks around at the gorgeous indoor garden that is slowly being revealed as the mists are vented elsewhere as Atlantis explains that he's brought her here to avoid being distracted by anyone. Saoirse nods when he is finished explaining his reasons, curious as to why it is he thinks some of the other teachers might be distracting, but since she figures she will find out sooner or later what he means, she doesn't ask him to go into any details.
Taking a seat under a tree near to the pond when Atlantis tells her to sit, Saoirse leans back against the trunk of the tree and listens as he answers her question about the core powers. Since Atlantis uses examples of ways she has already used, at least instinctively, the core powers, Saoirse is able to follow along with his answer well enough. Of the three categories, Saoirse understands what the control powers encompass most easily, and has a feeling that they might be the ones she does best in, at least initially. Saoirse does wonder what other things she will learn to do, but decides that is also something that she will learn when Atlantis starts teaching her more about them. The sense powers sound like they include things that would come naturally to Force users that are trained in them, and Saoirse thinks she has probably only experienced a little of what one could do with them. The sense abilities also seem like ones that will involve learning more about being able to stay focused, which is probably a lot harder than it sounds. Saoirse remembers how easily her concentration had been broken when Atlantis led her along her first experience with sensing the Force around her, and she wonders, as she had about the control abilities, just what all one can do with the sense ones once they learn to maintain their focus and concentration. The last aspect, alter, sounds like it will be the most difficult, but Saoirse doesn't let herself get disheartened as it is also the area that she has had the least amount of experience with given that telekinesis and, she assumes, the other abilities in the same family, are not things one would do instinctively. From her experience with telekinesis, Saoirse imagines that the biggest challenge with the aspect abilities will be believing enough in her ability to do things like telekinesis; even if she knows now that she can use the Force to do extraordinary things, believing that she can do things way beyond what others can will probably be hard, and she has the feeling that her belief in how well she can do will limit her for a while. Which, Saoirse thinks as she recalls her experience with telekinesis, is probably also true of any of the Force powers. How fast she will be able to move using the Force will depend on how fast she believes she can move. Sort of like a self imposed limitation, Saoirse thinks, that she will need to overcome somehow.
Nodding that she has understood what Atlantis has said so far, Saoirse doesn't interrupt with any questions so he can move on to answering her other question about what kinds of roles are available to Jedi. As she listens to Atlantis' descriptions of the basic roles a Jedi can fulfill, and gives helpful examples that make things clearer, Saoirse finds herself thinking that Atlantis has not really turned her life upside down as much as she had thought; the things she had always thought she might wind up doing with her life are all things she can do as a Jedi, just with different skills available to her. Saoirse also has the impression that growing up on Coruscant, where the media, when it referred to the Jedi at all, characterized them as scattered groups of passive individuals focused on themselves rather than the universe at large, hadn’t helped her really understand what Jedi do. From what Atlantis says, Saoirse has the feeling that the media left out the fact that Jedi are active, just on a smaller scale than the First Order. Where the First Order is focused on bringing peace and stability on a large scale, the Jedi are probably focused on helping the worlds they are on from a local level, which makes a certain amount of sense given there is no longer a Republic or other multi-world organization for them to work with.
Crossing her legs beneath her and leaning forward in her excitement to let Atlantis know what she is thinking, Saoirse tells him, "Well, I can't say exactly which of those roles I would fit best in, but that is probably true of anyone just getting started, right? But, remember we were talking earlier about learning I can use the Force was like turning my world upside down? After listening to your descriptions of what Jedi do I don't feel that. Well, I mean, it is still a huge thing to take in, but . . . laughing a bit as she stumbles over what she is trying to say, Saoirse tries another approach after pausing to order her thoughts a bit more this time. I'm studying cybersecurity, right? And I always had an idea of going into law enforcement when I graduated, either back on Coruscant or here. When you told me I could use the Force, I was . . . well, not worried, but I thought maybe it meant I would have to change my direction, you know? But now I see how I can still help others, just as, maybe a Jedi Investigator or Sentinel that helps stop crime, like you said, instead of as a cop."
Frowning a bit as talking about her future reminds her of her worries about her scholarship, Saoirse asks, "Do you teach things like cybersecurity here at the academy? She hasn't ever seen any Jedi on campus, so Saoirse laughs, imagining her question was probably a silly one. I guess you do, right? Just not with grades and degrees and things? Getting a piece of paper that says she learned something is not as important, Saoirse finds as she thinks about it some more, as learning the skills she would be using in whatever role she decides to take on later in her life. Looking around again at the gardens and pond as though wondering what it would be like to live in the academy rather than to be just visiting it, Saoirse asks, Would I be living here at the academy at first, or is that something that comes later? Living at the academy, and learning from the teachers here, would certainly solve her probable scholarship issues, but it seems almost too easy, so Saoirse asks, I mean, I know you said there's no test or anything to get in, but is there, like, a certain level of skill I'd have to reach in a set period before I was an official Jedi learner?"

Atlantis was glad for one thing right now, Saoirse seemed to truly be comfortable, and seemed to be understanding easily what he had explained thusfar. He figured that she would have her own thoughts, and perhaps her mind wandered into multitude thoughts by what he had revealed, thus would cause for her to have more questions. But that was the whole point of this all, to learn and to have an open conversation to all the possibilities that he could potentially offer to him, if not himself, just the Academy as a whole and in the very larger scale of it all, the Force.
Smiling and nodding in confirmation to her first statement of not knowing exactly what role would fit her to begin with, Atlantis didn't look worried in any case, everyone started somewhere but for them to actually potentially head in that direction, ultimately they had to start with the basics of the Force in order to understand in fine where it could lead them in a larger scale for them. This situation though was different as Saoirse factually discovered at a later stage in her life that she was attuned to the Force, meaning that prior to that knowledge, she might have already had an idea on where she would want to end up. Indeed he had mentioned to her originally that he had turned her world upside-down, in the sense that considering her age, but also how she had arrived in her life thusfar, it could have been daunting to most, nonetheless he was glad that she was seeing the silver lining of it in a way.
"Yes, you were worried that you would have to give up a lot of things, if not all, that you have come to accomplish up till now." Atlantis said softly, and while back then perhaps it led to that, for him that was out of the question. A lot probably thought that a Jedi could not have the best of both worlds and they would have to be sucked in body and soul to their calling, but Atlantis didn't wish for that, nor would he impose it to anyone, when again he was very unconventional to begin with. A lot of the Force wielders here often had that reputation that they were just that, but because of what they had faced in the past they had to resolve themselves into particular specialties that in the end made the general population consider them as recluse.
Grinning at finding out what she had actually been studying at the University here, Atlantis looked at her and nodded but let her continue talk without interrupting further and because he didn't want to be rude. Though he still removed his jacket to expose the t-shirt he was wearing under but also the lightsaber hilt that was attached to his left forearm by a sliding mechanism, which coincidentally was that one that contained the Stygium crystal. He had to remember to remove it from his person to let people know at least that he was in the premises, but that could come later as he was pondering her question, as he put his jacket on the side and he leaned forward slightly as he placed his elbows on both of his knees while he looked at the pond that had some small fishes.
"We offer those teachings indeed, if people so wishes." Leaning back against the back rest of the seat, he smiled once more. "I do have some knowledge in that, but I will have to ask one of my friends here to either get me up to speed again, or if she is able to teach." Atlantis was one who could assimilate rather quickly, and easily, and after all, his training also led him to that. "I was a Sentinel back in my CorSec days, I used to specialize in hacking data-terminals and explosives, but that was a long time ago." Indeed, it seemed like it seemed so long ago, when everything seemed to be going just right, when Atlantis and his brother used to be that tandem that didn't necessarily needed to communicate to exactly know what they had to do in order to fulfill their objectives.
"As for your dwelling, you definitely can live here if you so wished, but with the conditions indeed that you will spend some of your time into learning about the Force, however" He started to say thoughtfully before looking into her eyes so she would see or at least know that he was serious about this, "I want you to know, and also understand that perhaps when it came to cybersecurity, we might not be the best ones to offer the full knowledge and teaching of it here." Comparatively speaking, a lot of them here were focused on different areas that didn't necessarily involve cybersecurity if at al. "I mentioned one of my friends earlier, and she happens to be the Deputy Director of Intelligence for the Mist Government here. She is also a Jedi, but her being here can truly be sporadic." He had to let Saoirse know as quite frankly it sometimes also could be surprising that several Masters were present at the Academy.
"Like I have mentioned also earlier, I currently have no idea which Masters are here like Cih mentioned, because fact is while we do teach in fact, several of us can be mandated some place either in the planet or elsewhere due to different reasons." He hoped that made sense for her, as truth be told there were days where none could be present here, or there were days just like this one Atlantis had let the students as a whole do what they wanted while he set out in the City. "But point in fact actually, to answer your question, you don't necessarily need to attain any certain skills to be a Jedi learner, it's only when you actually want to move up rank that you'll be tested with your knowledge of the Core powers."
Atlantis understood how this could be problematic sometimes, and why it would complicate several things, thankfully though he did have a solution to that. After all, why not. "I know you are on a scholarship, and I reckon that is thanks to your bolo-ball prowess, and if I understand correctly it also depends on the grades you have at the University, yes?" Smiling warmly and tilting his head slightly on the side. "What if I told you that you could still be a student at the University, I can speak with the Dean and the Mist Order, or in this case, myself will cover the tuition?" He genuinely meant that, because after all, he still did have several credits to his name, not that he ever used those for personal gain or anything, but yes, his uncle left him a hefty sum back in the days.

Saoirse nods with a grin when Atlantis, managing to say in a few words what had taken her quite a few more than that, sums up how she had initially felt when he had made her aware that she could use the Force, saying, "Exactly!" Not wanting to interrupt what he goes on to say, Saoirse leaves it at that, and listens to Atlantis as he explains that she was mostly right about the academy being able to teach her, more or less, the things she would be learning at the university. Atlantis also explains that, since he and the other teachers are sometimes away doing Jedi things on Umgul or elsewhere, or other jobs entirely as in the case of his friend that is also the Deputy Director of Intelligence for the Mist Government, she might be better off staying in at least some of her classes at the university for now. Saoirse has a idea about how that might work, but saves it for now to bring up later.
She had been surprised to hear that Atlantis had once been with CorSec, when he was a Jedi Sentinel; his having been involved in law enforcement being, like the fact they are both from Coruscant, another coincidence that makes her wonder if he has noticed how they seem to piling up as well. It is almost, Saoirse thinks, like something led her here to Umgul so that Atlantis would be the one to discover her sensitivity and train her. She almost opens her mouth to say something along those lines, but remembers the massive headache she got when writing a paper for her philosophy class on whether or not free will can exist alongside the idea of predestination, and suddenly decides not to say anything and to stop thinking about it entirely.
Smiling happily when Atlantis says that she would be able to stay at the academy so long as she makes time to focus on learning about the Force, which is not a very hard promise for her to make given how much she is looking forward to doing just that after all she has learned today, Saoirse nods when he goes on to say that as far as her advancing to an official learner, it will be up to her to let him, or another teacher if he away on other business, know when she feels as though she is ready. It sounds, Saoirse thinks, a lot like some of the self-paced learning classes she has taken, and even though she is not quite how she would know when she is ready to advance at the moment, it is another thing she believes will bceome clear after she has learned a bit more about the Force and the core powers.
Her eyebrows shoot up in surprise when Atlantis concludes by saying that he could cover her tuition at the university since she is probably going to lose her athletic scholarship on the grounds that her being able to use the Force gives her and her team an unfair advantage. Her first instinct is to refuse the offer and try to find another way to foot the bill, but after a moment's reflection, Saoirse realizes that sentiment is pride more than common sense speaking; why refuse help when she needs it? And, Saoirse reasons, she might be able to repay Atlantis somehow.
"That would be . . . incredible. I mean, I don't know what to say, other than, you know, thank you. Grinning and cocking her head to the side, Saoirse adds, But, I'd have a condition. You would have to find something for me to do around the academy to earn it. Looking around at the gardens, she suggests, Like, maybe maintaining the garden, feeding the fishies, that kind of thing? Or, she jokes, you can always take me up on that baby-sitting offer."
Thinking back to her earlier idea about making taking classes at the university while studying here at the academy work, Saoirse sits up a bit straighter as she says, "I also had a thought about how I could live and study here while still taking my university classes. What if I took my classes remotely? That way, other than testing, I would be here, listening to lectures and stuff on the holonet for my uni classes there and still able to do those things in person here for my lessons in the Force. I wouldn't have to go back and forth as much, and so would have more time to learn about the Force than I would otherwise. What do you think?"

Mace flanked by both Horsea and Forcias walked towards the garden’s location. She wasn’t wearing any Jedi garments, but instead just had a cloak wrapped around her neck over her black protective leather armor, and dark pants and boots. Her lightsaber always at the same space, by her right hip, at least her primary one, and her secondary at the small of her back. Horsea and Forcias had their own military uniform of the Kiffu Guardians, as factually prior arriving here not long ago, at the Academy, right after Atlantis’ departure to the City, they had been near the old remains of the raceways finding other clues that they might have missed just in case. After all they couldn’t exactly access Eleuabad yet in Naboo, thus there were resorting in gathering more intel. The silent type by nature truthfully, Horsea and Forcias were the ones talking to one another exchanging some information to keep it fresh in their mind. It was true, ever since Forcias return from Naboo, and the information he had learned thusfar which was valuable, they were all trying to piece the puzzles together. "I don't think we'll ever get anywhere if we don't get them all together again." Forcias had said to which Horsea had replied spontaneously. "The Drakes are still unaccounted for, and I haven't received any communication from Lara. Did Franz ever hear from Keith yet?"Mace had briefly looked on the side and over her shoulder glancing at Horsea while shaking her head. "I do not think Coruscant to be a vial lead any longer." Said Mace, and that was for obvious reasons, it was now under the FO’s rule and she didn’t want to create any diplomatic incident, nor did she want any other repercussions that could lead the FO’s gaze to this planet. "We'll keep looking, and hopefully sooner or later we'll have a lead."As she said her last words, Mace had finally reached the garden’s entrance and looked at Atlantis who seemed to be in an information conversation with the Zabrak woman sitting next to him. It seemed to be going well considering the woman’s peaceful state, and Atlantis seemed to just be relaxed and maybe was caught in what Saoirse had just said to him, or even suggested. Nonetheless she had heard the last part of the Zabrak’s statement and smiled warmly. "I believe that Atlantis will be the first one to tell you to do whatever you feel comfortable with, and what is also convenient for you." Said Mace knowingly before putting her at ease, or hopefully she would by gesturing with her hand that she stayed seated. There was no need for decorum now. At all. And whatsoever. "Mace Jhiera Vos," She introduced herself before glancing at the two Kiffars with her. It was easier to know that both Horsea and Forcias were Kiffars due to their facial tattoo, as unlike them, Mace did not posses any markings on her face, although one side of her face was covered by her hair like she used to, but it no longer was scarred. "And these are Horesea Aestrea, and Forcias Kes. Mace introduced them too, as they were here but she did not hesitate to add, "You'll probably meet my cousin later, she is just finishing teaching a class . . ."Horsea smiled brightly when she had been introduced, she was after all the most sociable one at first look, it was why a lot of the operatives in the Intelligence Department in the Government liked working with her, and while Forcias could also often end up there due to him technical knowledge, she and Forcias always and often worked in duo for several matters. Which was the reason why they actually have free passes in both the Government building, but also the Academy, just like the Jedi in this Academy as a whole.

It wasn't lost on Atlantis that them crossing paths, but also seemingly to be on the same path when they both started their training, that definitely made him inwardly smile. The Force did work in mysterious ways, and there were moments when he knew that things were meant to be, one way or the other. After all, with all of the so called coincidences he had been faced with ever since he got to Umgul, well one more or less coincidence, he stopped asking questions, even stopped pondering about those longer than necessary. Although he did notice that perhaps she had been astonished, to say the least, but Atlantis preferred to leave it as such, fateful coincidence, and perhaps also it would be something she would come with time to learn that maybe the Force led her this way, or maybe some other higher callings did.
Whichever people preferred to believe, that was up to them.
For now, he was in the now, and he was discussing a few matters with her about her education, he paid attention closely but before he could even comment, nothing came out. Silence, that was all that she unfortunately got from him right now when he felt the currents of the Force converging to one precise location within the Academy. It wasn't a location per se but more of a person, and another, and two more. Atlantis looked towards the garden's exit, thoughtfully with a knowing smile before shaking his head in amusement while there was that distinctive amused smirk on the corner of his lips. So those were the Masters that Cih meant... It felt like indeed they were calling upon the Force massively, and whatever they were doing required a lot of it.
Rubbing his face with one hand, and looking at Saoirse with an apologetic gaze, he wondered if she felt it too. One by one nevertheless, three presences disappeared except Ayla's whose signature could still be detected if the person knew to search for it. Out of the Kiffars, Ayla usually was the one never masking her signature by a Stygium. Now speaking of the Kiffars, it looked like three of them had joined them.
Coincidence again? He thought not, and to think that not even a moment ago he was talking about the Director of Intelligence that was actually here. "Mace is right." Atlantis said knowingly glancing at her before looking at Saoirse with a knowing smile. "Saoirse, please meet some of your future teachers, depending on where you end up." Atlantis explained thoughtfully, as he looked at the Kiffars, and while probably Mace already knew this because she was indeed the mind reader just like Ayla, but they didn't make a habit in digging into people's mind. "Meet Saoirse Berne, of the bolo-ball team of the University here, went to harass her after her victory." Atlantis said in jest, but also jokingly, at least he hoped that she did not see that as him harassing her.
"My friend I was telling you about?" He started to say with a knowing grin before turning his attention to Horsea, "That would be her, the Director of Intelligence for the Government of this planet, Forcias is the ace pilot of the Kiffars present on this planet." Those were the tip of the iceberg, and everyone here knew where their strength laid in. The only thing he did not mention was who was Mace to them at all as that wasn't really his story to tell, but he did add, "Mace is one of the Councilors here, along with her cousin who you'll meet later when she is done with class."
Taking a deep breath and looking from the Kiffars to back to Saoirse remembering most of her previous comments, Atlantis smiled reassuringly and nodded. "Okay, we have a deal, I am sure that we'll find some interesting things for you to do, as a repayment if that is how you want to see it." He smiled, and even if he looked seriously, he could still be on the joking side from time to time when necessary, especially when all of this currently wasn't in an official setting but more for her to get used to things here. "You just let me know when you want to move here, so I can already outfit you with some of the biometric clearances here in the Academy." That way she could access any of the facilities she wanted here, whether it was the medbay or the library they had here but also her own room, though of course, it went without saying that there were some rooms here that could only be accessed by a few, namely some of the vaults, and highly sensitive holocrons they possessed, but that he figured he didn't need to mention as that would be a long way before she could see those and it didn't concern her at all, as well.

Saoirse is new enough to actively using the Force that focusing on being aware of it around her and what information she might glean about her surroundings and those within them that it is not something she has yet begun to even consider doing it at all times, her concentration is entirely on her conversation with Atlants as she absorbs what he is teaching her and the plans for how they will be making her learning about the Force while still continuing her education at the university; which is why when Atlantis offers her an apologetic smile she has absolutely no idea what it is he is looking contrite about, and gives him a puzzled look in response.
When Mace and the others enter the garden and introduce themselves, Saoirse gives Atlantis an arched eyebrow that suggests she has guessed that his look had been about the impending arrivals of the other Jedi teachers, and that she has had her first inkling of how he is able to maintain his awareness of the Force while doing other things. Saoirse doesn't have long to ponder the idea, but does have the feeling that she will have her work cut out for her in the sense area of the core powers. Even the brief moment she has to consider the matter makes Saoirse think that it will be like learning to perform two, or more, complex mental tasks at the same time; like doing a higher math calculation while composing a complicated essay and carrying on a conversation at the same time.
Fortunately for Saoirse, the introductions that follow on the heels of the new arrivals distracts her from her thoughts. About to get up and bow, Saoirse sees Mace's wave to indicate she should stay sitting down, so she does and settles for waving hello when Mace introduces herself after, correctly as it turns out, saying that Atlantis will suggest that she handles the matter of how to balance her university and Mist Order Academy responsibilities in the way that seems best to her, and then introduces Horsea and Forcias. "Hello!" Saoirse gets out cheerfully as she waves before Atlantis speaks, confirming that Mace was right about what he'd say, then introduces her to the others, and then explains what Mace, Horsea and Forcias' roles are. Looking from Atlantis to Horsea when he tells her that the curly red haired woman is the director of intelligence he had spoken of earlier, and Saoirse makes a note to try and speak with her if the opportunity presents itself. "Nice to meet you all," Saoirse says with a smile after Atlantis has finished introducing everyone. Not having met or heard about Kiffars before, Saoirse doesn't know the significance of the facial tattoos Horsea and Forcias bear, but adds another mental note to herself to ask Atlantis about them later in case asking them directly might be rude.
Smiling when Atlantis teases her about harassing her as he tells Mace and the others an abbreviated version of how it is that she came to be here, Saoirse guesses from everyone's behavior that she isn't expected to be formal at the moment and so teases him right back, poking her tongue out playfully before telling Mace and the others, "Harassed me, kidnapped me and brought me here, where he has been, she adds an exaggerated eye-roll for effect, talking my ear off. Thanks for coming and rescuing me, I'm not sure how much longer I could've lasted."
Grinning in excitement when Atlantis agrees to find her something to do to earn her keep before saying she can relocate to the academy as soon as she feels ready, Saoirse says, "I'd move in now if I could, then laughs and says, I guess I'll have to sort out the remote learning first though, so maybe tomorrow? Saoirse figures that letting her instructors know what she'd like to do should be easy enough, especially if Atlantis speaks to the dean of the university so it is clear why she wants to make the changes. Her roommate has an airpspeeder, and packing up her things won't take long at all given she doesn't have much other than clothes and a few nicknacks. Or is that too soon to sort out the biometric stuff?"
"What does your cousin teach? Saoirse asks Mace interestedly after Atlantis answers her question for him, and then asks Forcias, since she guesses from what Atlantis said earlier that Horsea teaches something to do with cybersecurity, Do you teach here as well?"

As Mace stood there, looking impassive as always, she usually wasn't one to engage into conversation lest it was necessary. It wasn't that she was bored, it was just that several things had been running through her mind. Though she should probably be warmer, she supposed, but unfortunately other things were going through her mind, and she knew that Atlantis, or even Horsea would cover her short-comings, if that could be put that way. A smile did creep up on the corner of her lips, when Atlantis had mentioned that he had harassed Saoirse which was obviously picked up immediately by the Zabrak to whom Mace looked with slightly amusement and even looked skywards in humor.
There were no other reactions from Mace nor was there any comments from Forcias, who also was the silent type by nature, although recently it was more than ever. He would engage into talks with those that knew him best, but ever since his return from Naboo, solo, he stopped engaging all of a sudden, and he definitely did not want to talk about it. Thankfully, Horsea had been the one who gave some sort of reactions by laughing softly as she looked at Atlantis knowingly. "I am shocked, Atlantis. This poor girl had no chance at all," Winking playfully at Saoirse, to let her know that she was pretty aware that it probably did not come to that. "The infamous Vyridian smile that can charm any beings and lull them to their future downfall that ultimately leads to a broken heart. Horsea was a good natured teaser, everyone here knew that about her. She was the most social one of the Kiffars commanding corp, and she liked to engage into conversation to put people at ease, which was a lot more compared to the other two with her right now. To her surprise though, after her very own statements, she heard Forcias speak in jest.
"If Crystal gets a wind of that, she might intensify her sparring with you." The look on his face said good luck with that. Those that knew Atlantis for so long were very aware that the Headmaster did not as a rule of thumb hit women, or refused to do so when it wasn't a life or death situation. Those jokes aside though, Forcias faintly smiled and stayed his tongue again while he listened attentively to the ongoing here.
Mace who had been following, and particularly when Atlantis mentioned biometric access, just looked on the side straight at Horsea, who actually was already executing herself, as she pulled out her portable datapad, to load the Academy's mainframe specs onto it. "Concerning your biometric, not at all." Said Mace with a faint smile as she looked from Saoirse to Horsea with an arched eyebrow.
"With your permission, Saoirse, I'd like to access your personal data, and transfer a copy of those to the database here, before getting some of your fingerprints, and a drop of your blood to incorporate them here in order to outfit you with the needed clearances." Horsea of course asked, and even if she was the Director of Intelligence, her mandate to the Government and the ongoings of the Academy weren't something she mixed at all. While she waited patiently she looked at another window on her datapad, to check if she had received any messages tagged as urgent.
Mace had been looking at Forcias slightly though even if she was the type of person to reach out to him privately due to what she had felt earlier, Mace knew that this wasn't the time nor place, but she certainly was glad that he, too, had cracked up a joke right after Horsea did in good nature. Focusing her attention to Saoirse soon enough who seemed excited, and was really looking forward to learn here, Mace could tell definitely. Now though, how could she actually describe Ayla, and what she taught here, that was the crux of it all, their individual knowledge weren't restricted to a single core, at all. Hopefully, Mace could make it understandable for Saoirse, though, for the time being as she ordered her thoughts, Forcias who also had gotten a question was the first one to answer as if prompted by Mace's silence for the time being.
"If asked, I can come to teach here, yes." Forcias replied with a friendly tone and a smile. "When traveling in hyperspace, I usually am the one finding the safest path, and quickest one due to my ability of instinctive astrogation." Not that it ever came up here in the Academy since as far as he was concerned, and knew, Atlantis or anyone had never taken any of the learners yet out of this planet. "And I am also the mechanic, and I like fixing things when they are fixable." Forcias was humble by nature, and never liked to show off, none of them did, and they weren't ones to wanting to impress people at all, that certainly wasn't him at all.
"I do not think you'll be able to fix the droids we have left with Ayla, earlier. Or perhaps you can, you do like to surprise sometimes." Mace commented with an amused tone, though it was particularly true, in the sense that instead of tapping in her faculty to disable droids, Ayla resorted to actually fry all the circuitry with electricity when they had been demonstrating the application of a Force meld. Concerning the damages, again, which they had a good track record of, Mace looked at Atlantis with a somewhat apologetic expression. "I'll cover the order for more combat droids." Her tone was final, and she was the kind of person to pay back when she knew it was her own doings, plus, still being an advisor to the Government, she did have a steady income coming in.
That aside though, since there was still that pending question from Saoirse, Mace looked at her with a peaceful expression. "Ayla, originally used to be the one to handle the teaching on healing, but ever since a doctor, who is attuned to the Force, moved here, he is the the one covering that side now." It was true, ever since Ryan Solaris decided to make his permanent residence here in Umgul, he actively wanted to help the best he could, and wherever he could. Either the hospital, or here at the Academy, as after all, he did like kids. "Ayla then turned her teaching to the several possibility of the senses. We were just with her before coming here, as some of the older students have been asking her how a Force meld worked, and thus she needed our assistance." Mace knew that probably these new words, all of them could be debilitating or just plain confusing, but she knew that Saoirse would be able to gain some information from the library here to find out several of the Force applications. "I know it can be confusing, and perhaps you'll want to dive into the knowledge of the Force and read about the information you can get from the library, but to make it easier, Ayla is more on the sense side, and I am on the Alter side just like Atlantis, though all of us know Control, thus, whomever you end up with, I am sure you'll find the best teacher you'll learn from depending on the Core." Smiling slightly and turning her attention to Atlantis. "Since he found you, and came to harass you, I suppose you'll have to put up with him, and for that, I am truly sorry." Mace had said in dry humor, it's not that she didn't joke, it was just that she was on the cynical side sometimes, unlike Horsea.

Atlantis should have known, he shouldn't have said that to begin with, but he still was amused as Saoirse indeed just picked up his joke, and ran with it. To his unfortunate dismay though Horsea and even Forcias added their own commentaries about that. Which was the reason why he certainly looked somewhat ashamed with his mouth open, wanting to say something, only not really. Shaking his head in amusement and just looking down as he chuckled lowly, Atlantis enjoyed these type of encounters, to think that he had not seen the Kiffars earlier before leaving. The fact that most were here felt like a gathering of sorts, sure a few were missing, but the most surprising fact was that the Kiffars were here in the same location as him.
"Not so infamous anymore, and I am certainly glad that not a lot remember me in the City." Atlantis quipped quickly while looking at Horsea, but then his attention turned to Forcias who definitely drove a killer blow, which made Atlantis shudder at the thought. Crystal, his girlfriend, or everyone would say here even if it not have been done in any official capacity, they might as well have been married with how longer they have been together now. "Please do not inform Crystal about this." Atlantis begged and even had his hands laced together as if imploring them, but he of course was joking, and he didn't mind either way. "I can still feel the bruise on my ribs there." Came his muttered statement before another smile appeared on his lips as he listened to Saoirse attentively.
"Tomorrow it is then, if you need any help in moving your things, let me know." Atlantis told her with a warm smile as he thought the best way to handle what he also had to do on his side. He'd have to speak with the Dean, he was sure he could do that later, then when it came to the biometric clearance, well, it looked like he didn't even need to address that, the Kiffars were onto it, or at least Horsea was, as she had been the first one to set up what was needed here after the Academy had been constructed. Gesturing to the Director when Saoirse had asked him about it, he looked at them with an amused grin before actually looking at Mace with a raised eyebrow. Ever saw the mysterious one of them all, Mace always had done things that on the small scale could be difficult to understand but on the larger scale, it seemed like she was there if and when needed.
Atlantis tilted his head on the side slightly as if indicating to her that his mind was clear, and open, and she was welcome to read his thoughts. I should have known you had been the one here when Cih mentioned that masters were teaching. I wonder if you had foreseen me crossing her path and realizing that she and I seemed to be on a convergent one, especially when I began my apprenticeship. Grinning at his thought that he was pretty sure Mace would pick up, he didn't say anything more. If there was one thing he had learned here, the Force worked in mysterious ways, but so did Mace Jhiera Vos...
Soon enough his attention was back to the conversation at hand, especially when the Kiffars were fielding out some of Saoirse's question, Atlantis had no other choice but to incline his head when Mace informed him that she would handle the combat droids, and knowing them, Atlantis was sure that a lot had to be replaced. Which begged the question, what actually happened to those? The answer also came soon enough, and Atlantis was pretty impressed about that, and he was certain too that probably the students also had been. A while ago, he and his brother had been the recipient of a Force meld back at the Senator's mansion, and while that was because they needed to be revitalized, therefore was more on a passive side of things, this time all he could say or think was that the Force meld, involved the Kiffars as a whole, and some droids. What happened, or what didn't happen, Atlantis did not know as he only felt the current of the Force, and what he did know from that, it was massive.
"Hey, c'mon now, I ain't that bad." Atlantis exclaimed playfully before looking at Saoirse with a warm smile. "Right?" He could not help but to ask before glancing at them. "If Lily heard about this all, she'd be laughing her ass off." Atlantis had said her name, which got him to cover his mouth as if he had said something he shouldn't have. While Ljiljana Jankovic wasn't attune to the Force, it appeared that apparently each time her name was spoken out loud, she'd sneeze, that was just the Attorney General. Knowing that some names have been spoken and perhaps, Soirse wasn't familiar with those, also from one of the comment made by Mace about a doctor, Atlantis did not hesitate to say. "Crystal is my better half," It was one of the ways he could describe her, and that was good enough he hoped, at least. "The one that I just mentioned who would be probably laughing right about now because of the verbal beatdown I am getting, is one of Crystal's closest friend, and they both work for the Government." If Saoirse was indeed curious, and he figured that maybe she could be, she would easily find their names, or even their functions on the Government's holonet. "As for the doctor, Mace mentioned, that would be Ryan, the one that I told you about, who loves to play limmie with Nick and others."

Saoirse smiles as Horsea, picking up the teasing Atlantis ball and running with it, says she is shocked and ribs Atlantis about his charm. Looking at Atlantis with a playfully exaggerated expression of shock after Forcias, picking up the ball after Horsea passes it to him, mentions someone named Crystal that apparently wouldn't be too happy if Atlantis were the heartbreaker that the others are teasingly making him out to be, Saoirse gasps, "You never mentioned any Crystal, Atlantis, then puts her hand over her chest as she looks over to Horsea and sobs, He really is a heartbreaker, then looks over to Atlantis and pouts, Both my hearts are broken, I hope you're happy now," then laughs and holds her hands up as though to let him know she is done teasing him now.
Nodding when Mace says that the biometric stuff can be sorted out easily enough, Saoirse smiles when Horsea then asks for her permission to access her file and take her fingerprints and get some blood, "Sure, no problem." Her personal data will be a pretty short read, Saoirse figures, given that she hasn't really led an eventful life, at least until today, and can't imagine what will be on file other than her educational, athletic and medical records. Atlantis chimes in and says that tomorrow is looking like as good a time as any after the biometrics are sorted out, and Saorise smiles excitedly after shaking her head to indicate she is pretty sure she can sort out the moving on her own. With all that Atlantis has done, and is offering to do, Saoirse figures the least she can do is handle the simple task of moving her stuff from the dorm to the academy.
Looking over to Forcias when he explains that in addition to teaching something called instinctive astrogation when needed, he is also a mechanic, Saoirse nods with a grin as she says cheerily with a bit of uncertainty in her voice, "Sounds interesting!" Never having piloted anything other than an airspeeder, Saoirse has only a vague idea of what all might be involved in what it is that Forcias teaches, but guesses that the instinctive part has something to do with using the Force.
Pulling her legs up to her chest and resting her chin on her knees when Mace answers her question about what her cousin teaches, Saoirse listens closely as the answer winds up being a bit more detailed than she had imagined it would be. Smiling and lifting a hand to hold her fingers a few centimeters apart when Mace says she knows that some of her explanation might have been confusing, Saoirse doesn't interrupt otherwise as she is interested in what she is learning even though she is also aware that some things are probably flying right over her head. Mace also explains which areas of the core powers she and the others are most focused on, and ends by teasing Atlantis a bit by saying that Saoirse is stuck with him since he was the one to find her.
Saoirse leans forward and pats Atlantis' arm consolingly after he pouts in response to Mace's teasing, "Naaah, you ain't that bad, then tells Mace with a wink, He's really not so bad. Nodding to let Atlantis know that she is following along with his explanations of who the various people he mentions are, even though Saoirse is starting to think she should have been taking notes if she wanted to improve her chances of keeping track of everything and everyone she has learned about, she nods and says with a laugh, Got it. Mostly. I think."
Saoirse had a feeling that the doctor Mace had mentioned when explaining what Ayla taught had been the same one Atlantis had talked about earlier, and thinks it will be nice to have someone in addition to the kids at the academy to play bolo-ball with from time to time. With the way Atlantis and the others have made her feel welcomed, and how they are all a lot less formal than she had imagined they would be, at least for now and in the current setting, Saoirse feels more at ease with all of the changes and revelations that she has been met with today, and is, as even a someone not attuned to the Force would be able to tell from her expression, excited about what tomorrow and the future have in store.

Horsea had been the one who laughed wholeheartedly at Saoirse's teasing Atlantis, she wasn't covering it at all due to the simple reason that knowing Atlantis he'd take it graciously. Now, if it were someone else, like Atlantis' identical twin, that was completely a different matter, and they certainly wouldn't be having this kind of conversation, let alone be jabbing Andros to begin with. When her amusement had died down, Horsea stayed silent and kept looking at her datapad, and it appeared that nothing seemed to be occurring but just the usual reports that some infrastructures had finally been updated. Closing that window on her device, Horsea looked at Saoirse upon receiving the approval.
Digging the file from the immigration bureau, and also pulling the ones from the University after rushing the request, Horsea briefly glanced at the information without dwelling too much into it, but it appeared that Saoirse had been from Coruscant, and not Iridona. It was an interesting coincidence to find where she actually originated from, but Horsea showed nothing on her features as her fingers kept typing on the device to finally copy this to the Mist Order's database. Now concerning the blood and fingerprints. Closing her eyes and expanding her awareness to the Force to ask a favor, Horsea nudged Ayla's mind so to speak and privately requested the following. Favor, Colonel, detour to the medbay to grab me a kit of blood sampling and fingerprint scanner. Please.
While she had been focused on her transmission, and knowing that Ayla did get her request as the Master Jedi had just dismissed the class and was heading here originally, Horsea even if she seemed to have been focused on what she was doing, was also still aware of the ongoing conversation, though had respectfully stayed out of it due to Forcias explaining what he did, and also what Ayla, and Mace did in a way.
Forcias chuckled faintly and shook his head slightly. "I am guessing that it won't be if it's not a subject you have your eyes upon." In his smile and in his statement, he did not look offended, and he certainly didn't take her uncertainty there as offensive whatsoever. He just knew that what did interest him, wasn't probably what would interest others, and that was just fine with him. Plus he had to admit, this whole setting, it was putting him at ease, and just relaxing him, it allowed him to think of something else entirely, and not the person whom he suddenly grew apart with despite him thinking that everything was going well . . .
Mace kept a stoic expression as she listened to Forcias, and actually just look at his comportment, while nothing looked off at all, she knew that a part of him was hurting, not that anyone could feel it, as he also was good as hiding his internal emotions, saved to some. Snapping out of her own observation about one of her good friends, Mace had looked at Atlantis, and she did read loud and clear his thoughts, and said nothing of it, or showed no further expression than a brief smirk on the corner of her lips. However he interpreted that from her, that was up to him. Looking at Saoirse again, Mace listened attentively and nodded her head slightly. "You are at the starting point of learning about the Force, and while perhaps I probably shouldn't have gone into far more details on what had just occurred, what I can perhaps suggest to you is to read about the Force back at the library." It was the one suggestion Mace could make, after all, all of them here had been trained in the Force since they were younglings, and from memory when Crystal had found out that she could manipulate it, she had spent her time meditating, and just to clear her mind.
Mace's thoughts came to a halt when she felt her cousin approaching behind her. Glancing over her shoulder and looking at Ayla who had removed her ponytail, Mace noticed that she had been carrying something.
"Blood sampler, and fingerprint reader as requested along with disinfectant patch." Said Ayla softly as she handed those to Horsea, who took them and thanked her. Though before doing what she needed to do, as after all Ayla had just joined them, Horsea just stayed put as Ayla smiled looking at the one who will without a doubt going to be taught primarily by Atlantis. "Welcome to the Mist Order, Saoirse." Yes Ayla knew her name, even if she had not heard it directly as she wasn't here, but her affinity with the Kiffars present here usually always brought her up to speed, and often allowed her to get the pertinent information needed. "I am sure that they have already mentioned me, but I am Ayla Vos." Ayla was also friendly by nature, although not as social as Horsea, she had an easier time smiling when meeting people and right now even if they didn't look the part at all, Horsea, Forcias, and Ayla wore their Kiffu uniforms, the difference there were the stripes on their shoulders that indicated their rank. Which probably wouldn't make much sense if a person did not have knowledge in that.
"If you could just give me one of your digits, and just placed your print here." While Ayla had been talking to Saoirse, Horsea had configured the reader of both devices to her datapad, before she levitated it with the Force to be able to use both of her hands to grab from Saoirse that drop of blood but also the fingerprints. Deed done, and everything needed on her end to finally give her the clearances here, Horsea who wasn't the kind to keep samples after the data had been uploaded combusted the blood sample with the Force before clearing the print reader to return it to the medbay on her way out. "By tonight your information will be here, and you'll be able to access the room that you'll come to choose as your own." Horsea explained softly before at Alantis, whom she knew he could take it from there afterwards.

The patting on his arm by Saoirse made him put his other hand on his heart to thank her confirming that he wasn't that bad. Although the part of 'really not so bad' made him look at Mace and Saoirse particularly with narrowed eyes. Nevertheless he took it all in good fun, because after all it was just amusing to him definitely. Atlantis certainly was glad that the Kiffars were putting Saoirse at ease their own ways, and that was good enough for him.
While Mace's explanations were a lot to take in especially to unpracticed people, who weren't truly familiar with the ways of the Force, Atlantis figured that might be one of the many subjects that would come up, and perhaps Saoirse would be asking him a few more questions, which again he didn't mind all, he was happy to share the information he knew. Mace did have a point also, Saoirse could always check some of the library's archives to know a bit more about the Force. Although he also knew that it was nothing compared to a demonstration, like some of the students had witnessed from them earlier.
Soon enough they had been joined by Ayla, it was one thing for him to see Forcias and Horsea in their military uniform but for Ayla, even if he had already seen her wearing it, presently, it only meant something. Which was the reason why he looked at the Kiffars dubiously. Ayla, whenever she was at the Academy, always wore dark Jedi garment, but today that wasn't the case, at all. Atlantis could only come to that single conclusion that probably they had deployed somewhere. But where, and to do what? He had no idea, and to be perfectly honest, even if they were friends, close friends of his, he never dared to ask. What the Kiffars did as a whole could often be seen as a mystery to many of them that weren't in their chain of command, so to speak. The person at the center of it all, Mace of course.
Atlantis genuinely admired them, and how efficient they worked together, whomever didn't think of something, another would pick up the slack. Prime example here, and now, Ayla who brought what Horsea needed, or perhaps the latter had requested it. No clue, whatsoever, but he was glad that the biometric was done and quickly out of the way. He nodded when Horsea looked at him to inform him of that fact, and that all that was needed would be for Saoirse to select one of the quarters to make that process final.
"Thank you, Horsea," Smiling gratefully as he looked at Saoirse with a knowing glance. "If you aren't too busy with government business, I have a feeling that Saoirse will want to speak with you." Atlantis informed thoughtfully, "I suppose you have seen what she is currently majoring in the University." He rhetorically asked, as knowing Horsea, she would get all of the information that was necessary and she wouldn't leave any stones unturned. Atlantis grabbed his jacket to put it on his lap before looking at the cousins, he was about to say something or even think something to tell them both, but he decided against and instead looked at Saoirse again with a dubious expression. "I'll be heading back to your University to catch your Dean, if he is still around, or she, I don't know who the dean is. Did you want to stay and see further the Academy, or will you prefer to have the official tour tomorrow?" He would have to check some of the information on the holonet while on his way there, and hopefully he won't be turned away because he had no appointment whatsoever.

Saoirse smiles sheepishly as though having been caught when Forcias, who apparently interpreted her hesitance as a lack of interest in the subject he teaches, "I'm sure it's fascinating enough to pilots and navigators, and you never really know what will interest you unless you've tried it, right? I've only piloted airspeeders, so maybe if I decide to learn to fly anything more complicated, I'll find myself in one of your classes and find it scintillating."
When Mace speaks to her, Saoirse nods with an excited smile after being informed that the academy has a library that will probably have all kinds of information to help her as she learns about the Force, "That's a great idea! She grins, That way I wouldn't have to be bugging everyone with constant questions, shrugging as she adds, Well, just the ones I get from studying I guess, as she knows from her university studies that just reading about something does not always bring about a complete understanding of a subject. And I like the details, she adds with a reflective frown, they give me an idea of what it is I don't know, so will help me in deciding what to read up on."
Waving cheerfully to Ayla when she joins them, Saoirse nods, "Yep, they mentioned you. Thanks for the welcome. Noting that Ayla shares a surname with Mace, she looks between the two of them curiously as she asks, Are you two related? Holding out a hand for Horsea to take her fingerprints and a blood sample, Saoirse smiles when the process is done and Horsea lets her know that she will have access to her room tonight after she has been assigned one, Great! Will I be able to access the library too, or is that something I would have to get someone's permission for beforehand? Grinning when Atlantis suggests that Horsea be prepared for Saoirse to ask her questions, she tells Horsea, I'm studying cybersecurity, and Atlantis says you are pretty knowledgeable on the subject, so. . . waving a hand, she promises, I'll hold off with the questions until a more appropriate time, promise. I'll be talking to my instructors tomorrow to see about arranging to finish my classes remotely, but I'd be interested to know what you'd be able to teach me in addition to my classes, when you have the time."
Nodding when Atlantis explains that he is going to be off to see about speaking to the dean of the university about her situation, Saoirse fidgets with the disinfectant patch on her finger as she says, "Well, I don't want to be a nuisance, so why don't I head back with you and get started with packing up? We can do the tour tomorrow when I come to move in?" That way, Saoirse figures, no one has to go to any additional trouble on her account, and there will plenty of time to learn more about the academy when she returns.

"Just do not jump through hoops, and just find what will fit you best." Had said Forcias softly, one of his advices to her. He did have that feeling that she still had a lot to learn, at least find what she would excel at in the future. Perhaps indeed her path would lead her to what he could teach, and perhaps not, that would depend on her journey. Forcias guessed that Saoirse would start somewhere in particular, and he did remember that she was in the University's limmie team, courtesy from Atlantis, and perhaps that would be her original focal point. Forcias couldn't say at all, he wasn't one to usher people against their will to something they weren't comfortable with.
Mace had a little smile currently, even Horsea did, both of them were pleased in a way that Forcias was actually sharing some of his wisdom, if that could be put that way. With everything that had happened recently that involved Forcias, Horsea was glad that he was slowly and surely coming out of his reserve, and while it was a possibility that no one knew how different the Major was from back then to now, she was certain that Atlantis would have an inkling about it. But in any case, that was a whole different matter that none of them were comfortable at all to discuss, especially when someone who had just discovered that she was attuned to the Force, and to that Mace had been the first one to nod slightly confirming her access to the library before saying. "The general knowledge of the Force is accessible to everyone here, it's the much more advanced area that will be unlocked to you, upon request, along with the holocrons. Those are only accessible and activated with the Force, but a few of them that have been recorded by several of us contain some of our knowledge." Explained Mace thoughtfully, she had a few of the teachings in the library, all of the Councilors in this Order did. But that was getting too far ahead of themselves in the now, so Mace just resorted to look at her with knowing expression and smile in the sense that at least Saoirse would know where to start, definitely.
Ayla who had arrived shortly after, and had introduced herself, turned to look from Saoirse, to Mace briefly who the latter was still standing there impassively, returned her attention soon after to Saoirse which a faint chuckle. "The cousin would be me." Informed Ayla about the relationship, she and Mace shared. From what Ayla had seen, Mace didn't at any point connect both Ayla's name to the cousin word, thus perhaps definitely it could have been confusing. While Mace had red hair like Horsea, and perhaps at first glance people would think that they were related, but not at all, Ayla was in the dark hair side, with blue eyes while Mace had them green. "If the bleeding won't stop quickly enough to your liking, please let me know." Ayla looked at the patch that Saoirse had been fidgeting with. For whatever reason she currently was doing that, Ayla had no clue at all. After all, while she had been a telepath indeed, Ayla wasn't that kind to invade people's thoughts lest they were Mace and the Kiffars as a whole, and even so, all of them had that understanding that it was okay to do unless it wasn't okay, and in those moment each and everyone of them were skilled enough to put up barriers in their mind. Ayla, nonetheless, could not help but to notice that dubious gaze from Atlantis after she had noticed Saoirse's fidgeting. Ayla said nothing of it, or didn't show any reactions but just a faint smile, if someone had to do the sharing there with the Headmaster, it wasn't her place, but more Mace's.
After Atlantis' request to her, and rhetorical comment, Horsea did incline her head before looking at Saoirse, after all whenever a person addressed her, Horsea was the kind to look at them to show that she was paying attention, but not in the rude or uncomfortable way. "Theoretically, what your University ends up teaching you, will be better, I suppose. I am more in the practical side of things, though yes also theoretically I can manage that." Horsea, while she indeed was the Intelligence Director, originally before landing here in Umgul, that wasn't her focus to begin with until she had been appointed to that position, and she had to do some readings in the background, and while she had the assistance of the entire department too, Horsea was definitely the person that could find flaws if needed and would always, perhaps not always, make everything airtight and unbreachable.
"I do hope it works out for you back at the University." Horsea commented with a smile as she nodded to indicate that she did get it loud and clear that Saoirse potentially had more questions for her, and that was fine, she'd try to make time also whenever she could to be here if necessary. "May the Force be with you, until next time Saoirse." Bowing slightly to both Atlantis and Saoirse as both of them were heading in the same direction, Horsea turned on her heels as all that she needed to do was completed here. "I'll see you later, I have to just wrap up a few things at HQ. Forcias, walk with me?" She informed the cousins and also asked Forcias to just head to the Government building with her, and perhaps it was her way to get Forcias out of there so they could talk. With that both Forcias and Horsea left first after Forcias had inclined his head respectfully to everyone.
Leave it to her, to whisk him away . . . Thought Ayla with amusement to which got Mace to look over her shoulder, saying nothing at all. Mace knew that if someone could get Forcias to talk it was Horsea, and not them. They were after all good friends, even best friends if others would put a description on their relationship. Without breaking a beat though, Mace looked back at Saoirse smiling fully this time though.
"We are looking forward to having you here, and hopefully you will find your stay here to your liking." Said Mace as she looked at Atlantis with a knowing smile.

Atlantis knew it could be a long shot, and he did mention previously that some of their presence here could be very sporadic. Either it was due to something the Kiffars dealt with internally, or because Horsea, and even Mace were called for government duties. They never, at any time, mixed things or raised topics that did not concern either the Government or the Order. It was known that they could collaborate, but even so, that wasn't often, or always. Putting on his jacket again, Atlantis looked at Saoirse with a dubious expression, especially when he noticed that she was fidgeting with the patch, but to him, it didn't seem like it had to do with the bleeding, or her digit being pricked for a drop of blood. Then he heard her statement, Atlantis shook his head and looked at the Kiffars, to whom Atlantis inclined his head to, first to Horsea and Forcias.
"Not a nuisance, at all. I personally think that perhaps before we overdose you, or really, before I talk your ears off," Atlantis began to say at least to reassure her, and to put her at ease. "We can reconvene about this the following day or days." Smiling warmly as he kept looking at her, Atlantis inclined his head once more as he stood up from his seat and zippered up his jacket. "You did get tackled on the field, and after I came to harass you unfortunately halting you to read about your lesson." It wasn't that he or anyone here was throwing her out or anything, it's just he figured she would want a good night's rest, plus it was getting late in the afternoon, and the Academy often could be quiet those times of the day, after everyone had some food.
"We'll definitely do the full tour tomorrow, and I'll be there, maybe even Nick will be happy to show you around and add his commentaries." She and Nick nicely connected in a way, and the little dude was certainly happy, moreso, Atlantis had seen how Saoirse hugged him too, without any reluctance, and it was just natural for her to do, it seemed. "You're all set?" Atlantis asked softly before turning his attention to both Mace and Ayla, since it seemed that they either were going to remain here, or they were going to deal with something else as well. But already their presence here were enough to let him know that indeed they did care and they took the time to come here and meet a future student as well.
"I'll talk to you both later, unless I am tied to other engagements." Atlantis playfully said as he this time waited for Saoirse to gather what she needed, and everyone made their way out of the garden, before he pushed the button again to let the mists fill it like it was before coming here. Only after when it was just he and Saoirse did he look at her with a knowing smile. "I am glad you have met them, they are great people. I suppose you have more questions?" Atlantis teasingly asked her with a dubious expression while he waited patiently just in case if Saoirse wanted to do anything first before leaving...

Lifting a hand as though making a solemn promise, Saoirse grins goofily as she tells Forcias, "No hoop jumping, promise." His advice is pretty good, Saoirse thinks, with everything she has been told by everyone, it sounds like there will be a multitude of options for areas for her to focus on, and trying to learn everything there is to learn would be all but impossible, so she makes a mental note to try and focus her studies as much as she can on the areas that interest her most as she learns more about what all those areas involve.
Saoirse nods after Mace explains that the library will accessible to her, save for the more advanced learning areas and the holocrons, whatever those might be. Saoirse guesses from what Mace says about how some of the teachers have recorded their teachings on holocrons, which are accessible only by using the Force, that they are some kind of recording device, or possible datachips, but as she knows that she won't be dealing with them until she is further along in her studies, sets the thought aside as one more thing that will make sense at a later point.
"Oh, Saoirse grins sheepishly as Ayla, explaining why she and Mace have the same last name, points out that she was the cousin that had been referred to earlier, Makes perfect sense now that you say it, I guess I didn't make the connection, shrugging as she adds, Too many other thoughts going on, she taps the side of her head, up here. Looking at her finger when Ayla says there's something she could do about any bleeding, Saoirse shakes her head and, unwittingly solving the mystery of the fidgeting finger, explains, I wrapped it a little too tight is all," then peels back one side and secures it a bit more loosely this time.
Listening to Horsea explain how she feels Saoirse will be learning more at the university about cybersecurity than she might be able to teach her given that her expertise is more on the practical aspects of the field in general, Saoirse nods as that makes sense, but feels grateful all the same that Horsea has said she will be available since that will mean Saoirse at least has a resource that, along with Atlantis who also has some experience in the area, will be there in case she needs help with her classes. "Sounds good, Saoirse says, and then waves to both Horsea and Forcias after Horsea has explained she has some things to do elsewhere and Forcias apparently does as well, Yeah, may the Force be with you guys too! Nice meeting you both!"
Smiling cheerfully when Mace says that they are all happy to have her there, Saoirse says excitedly, "Oh, I have a feeling I'm going to love it here, thanks!" Now that it sounds like there is a plan in place for how she can continue her studies at the university while learning about the Force here at the academy, Saoirse feels less like her life has been upended and more like it has just expanded in a way she never thought possible. Saoirse also knows that she will probably have a lot of hard work ahead of her, since it won't all be sitting around and chatting, but she has never had any problem with working hard, and looks forward to putting in the time and work to learn more about the Force and what it means to be a Jedi.
Grinning as she gets up after Atlantis explains the plan for how they will proceed, Saoirse lifts her backpack onto a shoulder and says, "Well, so long as Nick won't be missing anything important, I'd love to have him along for the tour. Little guy is super cute, and I'm sure his running commentary will be fun to listen to. Waving bye to Mace and Ayla as she and Atlantis make their way out of the garden, filling back up with the mists after Atlantis presses a button, Saoirse shakes her head with a laugh when Atlantis asks if she has more questions, Believe it or not, I don't, at least for now, then taps the side of her head, I don't think there's any more room for answers even if I did. Gotta file away and organize all the things I've learned, then grins as she warns him teasingly, Don't worry though, I'll have everything cleared up by tomorrow and will have probably thought of at least a thousand and one more questions for ya."

"I am sure Nickala will want to be present." Atlantis chuckled at the thought, sure he had some lessons, but those lessons were usually given by Atlantis, and since he couldn't do both... Well that was incorrect, Atlantis could be at two places at once, but he preferred to not do that at all tomorrow. "He won't be missing anything important at all, as I will be done with his teachings and the others before showing you around." He told her sincerely, so there were no worries for that, and they could both lay that down to rest.
Walking towards the exit of the Academy while he kept listening to her, Atlantis nodded understanding fully what she meant definitely. Though yes in a way he was a bit surprised that she had no further questions at all, but he figured that it was definitely best that way, especially with everything that had transpired for her on this very day. "Write it down, if you need it once you are back at your dorms at the University." Atlantis suggested thoughtfully, after all he knew a few who would do that, he often did find Crystal doing that, perhaps it would work for Saoirse, perhaps not, Atlantis knew that everyone had their own ways to reorganize their thoughts.
Finally outside of the Academy, he looked at her with a smirk before gesturing to the left to get her to follow him to his airspeeder. "Since we have walked earlier, I figured we'd head back to your university via airspeeder." Atlantis said knowingly as he let her in first before getting behind the controls, making sure that everything was working, and hovering above ground, "I promise to pilot slowly." With that, he piloted forward getting higher to avoid the mists to head towards the university...

Mahela Kanoska, Saoirse's female Togruta roommate, opens the trunk of her airspeeder after setting it down in front of the Mist Order Academy, reaching in to take out one of the boxes containing Saoirse's clothes and other belongings as she asks, "Are you sure it's okay I go in? I want to help, but with what you said about the biometrics and all, it sounds like they don’t let just anyone inside."
Saoirse, frowning as she considers the question while she puts a duffle bag over one shoulder, says, "I think we're fine as long as we stay in the main areas? Remembering how Atlantis and the others had always seemed to know when one or the other of them were coming, suggesting they were aware of each other's presences, Saoirse says, You know, Atlantis can probably sense I'm here, so he's probably on the way now. We'll just ask him when we see him. Grinning with a shrug, she picks up a box, I don't think he'll mind that you help me get things to the front door anyway, so even if you can't come in, at least there's that."
Setting a box down and removing the last one from the trunk, Mahela smiles and sets the second box down atop the first so she can close the airspeeder's trunk, "That has to be kind of weird, him being able to sense you. Can you sense him?"
Saoirse, frowning as Mahela picks up the boxes and starts making her way to the academy's entrance, closes her eyes as she tries to focus on the currents of the Force to see if she can sense Atlantis within them. Shaking her head with a puzzled expression, Saoirse says, "Nope. At least, she remembers how when she had sensed Atlantis in the Force shortly after meeting him that the currents within and around him seemed to be more still than the currents she could sense within others, I don't think so. Shrugging, putting it off to her inexperience, Saoirse says, That doesn't mean he isn't here though. It's probably more that I am not really trained in sensing the Force around me. Grinning as she and her roommate continue making their way through the mists, Saoirse says, He said he'd be here though, so he'll be here."
