I'll be coordinating the defense of the Estate of the ten, so I can probably find something for you to do.
I'll have the defensive arrangement for the estate posted this evening. Meant to have it yesterday, but the freaking post got eaten. Three freaking hours of work, all for nothing.

Also i plan on using this battle as my way of getting in with the Mandalorians. So if I can bump into a Mandalorian in which can get me into the culture and perhaps even a clan, that could be sweet. We've spoken about this before, I'd love to be apart of this.

I'm surprised to see that GALSAF are an attacking force as of right now. Despite being Mandolorians, I'd say that (if I were to join) Dha Werda Verda would be on the defending side. And also... I've been out of the loop for a while now... what thread would Kuat be in? I can't find it.

Hesper Calix: Welcome to the site, and I read your first post on Kuat. I enjoyed it, and you already seem well accustomed to this form of writing! Keep it up. To ALL: I was just thinking about the fact that so many Light Siders and Dark Siders are operating together on a predominantly Sith world. I began thinking that it would make some sort of sense to see the Light and Dark Siders face some sort of difficulties with the Force itself, being in such large numbers and being in such close proximity to one another. The thought reminded me of how clouded the Force grew for the Jedi Order during Palpatine's reign on Coruscant during the Clone War era. I imagined two magnets of similar polarity being close to one another, and interfering with each other's magnetic fields. This sort of interference would play out well in this situation, and provide the attackers with a very plausible, though slight, advantage here and there. Just thought it was an interesting point to bring up, and was hoping to get everyone's thoughts on it. Of course the nature of the Force is…a weird one, but it made a semblance of sense to me.

It's implies that Palpatine's was intentionally obscuring the Jedi's viewpoint, and also that the muddy moral nature of the clone wars had clouded their vision.

I'm not sure where to proceed with my character. I'm in the Open Terrain at the moment, but I'm having issues viewing the rest of the battle in the Estate. Whenever I click on it, it keeps throwing me back out saying that "I don't have enough privileges to view thread." Someone please find me.

Walk up to the line doing something both nothreatening and Force-userish. I plan to put as many Force users as possible guarding the shield generators, and if you don't mind, I can use you there. It might be boring unless someone breaks through, but if they don't, I'll send you somewhere useful, depending upon the tactical situation.
Also, defenses for the Estate have been established in Open Terrain. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to contact me. I wasn't as thorough as I would have liked to be, given that phone posting is a pain in the ass, but the computer ate my original post.

Just wanted to throw this out there. Dark Tide isn't a Sith faction, Kuat isn't a Sith planet. Sinistra is a Sith but not all of DT is. Sinistra is masterful politician, which is how she attained her power. Kuat is not crawling with darksided energies. People seem to be confused about this point. Hesper, there is no real battle at the estate for the moment. Everything is in open terrain. You're fine where you are. You do have to be logged in to see the Estate. If you are having troubles viewing the Estate, alert the Whills by posting it in a new thread here.

Not confused at all, considering you just clarified that aspect of the situation. I was more oriented towards the fact that there were so many Force Users of different denominations in close proximity with one another. Palpatine's example was the only one I could think of at the moment, as canon is somewhat scant with information about the Force sometimes. It was more a suggestion of a theory, than a suggestion of something that should be implemented. I mostly wanted to garner Force User's thoughts on it and find out if it was something they might suggest from themselves. They are more inclined to know if such a thing is feasible or likely than those who don't much write Jedi or Sith, etc. That's why I brought it up, it's been so long since I wrote a Force User that I've largely forgotten what it's like to do so.

Just remember fashionable Dwarves with spiky hair are crappy casters that lack magical powers, and you'll be fine.

Gulliver, I'm all up for a relocation and guarding an important structure, but anywhere you put Crystaall, she'll be anxious to put herself in the fight without haste. She's kind of headstrong when put onto a battlefield. But she will follow orders willingly, you'll just see her a little jumpy if she can see or hear the fighting going on.

Do I need to relocate Hesper?
Despite being a "jedi" (former), Hesper wants to avoid conflict. Since conflict is unavoidable, time to minimize the losses.

The shield generator should be just about right for you. If it goes down, we're going to take heavy losses.

So this is coming from a guy whose ship is currently falling from the sky. I have team of people who want to evacuate the civilians, but I also don't want to have to start a post in some empty place and get ignored. Where would be a lucky place to land and get on with the mission?

I've parked myself in one of the planet's shield generator buildings near Kuat city. I took the liberty of inventing myself a small dust storm around it. Is that alright?

Crys - If you want to somehow find your way to me on the drive yards. You know i'll RP with your character; we do have a history. :-)
Hes - I'd stay on the ground and do what Gulliver has suggested. The "first" fighting is going to take place in orbit/drive yards...so, yah, you'll be out of harms way for the time being.
Zu - there wont be an empty place to post; seeing as the only places actually getting posted in on Kuat are: Orbit, Yards, and Open Terrain. Soooo, wherever you pick to land/crash land, you'll get noticed duder.

inventing a dust storm? As in Force storm? or just using to the force to stir up some debris?
If it's Force storm, that's a no no on the threads... But let me read it first.

Not a Force storm, just a dust storm. She has no control over it.
