So I understand the aspect of this battle involving superweapon schematics has been scrapped. If such is the case, then I'm afraid this is one I'm dropping out of.
The plans were to be the IC motivation.
Naturally, my ducking out is not intended to be a slight upon the great writers on both sides. I hope you have great fun with the battle, and I'll be sure to be reading.

Since this is the big one, I'll be bringing GALSAF's full strength. The entire Infantry Brigade Commando Team (~2,500 Commandos), the Armored Commando Brigade (ton of MAT-TE walkers and support vehicles) and the Airborne Commando Support Battalion (ton of LA-AT gunships).
I will be writing primarily on the ground, though we will have our fleet present (2 Star Destroyers, a Nebula and an Imp-star duece), mainly for support of Mando forces.
Our IC complications with the Yavin RP will be ignored, this is for fun.
I'm taking on Adi, as stated already, but the rest of my forces are up for grabs. NOTE: I do not write NPC's lightly. I don't send them to die as cannon fodder, it makes no sense tactically. If the fight is hopeless, we don't fight it, plain and simple: Fight smarter , not harder.
We fight using tactical accuracy and realism. I have RL combat experience backing my writing, so don't get butthurt if I don't take hits on my guys at every turn. Just because you tell me you shot a thousand bullets, doesn't mean you're hitting dick if your tactical detail sucks.
We're tactical, precise, and while my combat posts get lengthy, it's to cover my ass OOC, not to talk about Ander's feelings, so deal with it.
That being said, I'm stoked, and can't wait to get shredding.

So I am going to have Panno doing something in space. Ever since watching the original clone wars I've wanted to do a E.V.A boarding of a ship. So if you are one off ode people looking to lose a ship his me up. Fighting said person on the ship is totally in the cards. In addition I can have a few NPC Knights fighting where they are needed.

Ander, if Sin will loan me an equivalent force, I'll be happy to take you on. I freely admit that I don't have much experience coordinating armor, but I'm a boss at directing field artillery (literally, I'm a section chief in FDC) so that should even things out.

Gulliver: that sounds great. While my guys will be working with direct support from our armored units, there's no reason we can't work out something between our forces. I could easily detach a unit to handle your artillery, I'm a boss with mounted/dismounted tactics (11B, machine gunner and rifleman).  I'll be able to follow you just fine on the artillery side as well, I've got enough experience with it in training to respond properly , so you're writing efforts don't go to waste. ^_^ |

I've decided that we are gonna rock this battle 1.0 old school Friday night fight/Battle Arena style. Everyone who isn't involved in a duel will be able to work towards certain objectives that will be written up and revealed when the battle opens next Sunday. I will DM the objectives during the battle, and only dueling Taung later on in the battle so I will be able to keep an eye on everything.
There will be objectives for the Drive Yards. There will be objectives for planetside. I will not be setting objectives for the fleets. The fleet battle is up to y'all.
No one will be informed of the objectives before Sunday.
When revealed with the battle start time, the criteria for each objective will be listed.
There will be initial objectives and if completed, then additional objectives will be revealed.
Objectives are optional for those who want to take part in them. If you want a duel or a troops/artillery slugfest, go for it.

Ill do my best to participate, but I usually work closing on sunday nights. Weekends are the new Assistant Manager's territory being the low man on the totem pole. I will participate as much as I can, though!! Sounds like a blast!

Well for anyone keeping score and whatnot it looks like Jud and I will do a bit of planetside defending of evacuation stuff and whatnot, so if anyone wants to take on an ancient badass and the Jedi order's resident Drunkard, please just let us know... soon... because we are the impatient types.
