Outside of Umgul City - On way to Mist Order Academy
Having told Atlantis that she would rather walk to the academy than take an airspeeder, Soairse and he had started making their way off of the campus and into the city after she had put her bolo-ball into her backpack and put both straps on her shoulders, making a joke about how he might regret saying that she could ask him anything since she has about a million and one questions.
As they had set out, Saoirse had thought back to to what Atlantis had talked about before the matter of walking or riding had come up. She had been a little puzzled at first when Atlantis had told her not to worry, but when he started talking about bowing Saoirse guessed that he had seen her expression when she had been thinking about how maybe she should have bowed, or maybe he had been able to sense that she had been worrying about it. It is a little strange to think that Atlantis is able to read her moods, but also kind of neat, and Saoirse had wondered absently if she will get to the point where she too is able to be able to read other being's moods or even thoughts.
Atlantis had then said there wasn't any need for her to change, and that some of the students at the academy might enjoy it and possibly recognize her. Saoirse is used to being recognized by students on campus she doesn't know from being on the university's bolo-ball team, and finds it amusing to think that Jedi students might pay enough attention to bolo-ball that they would recognize her too. Thinking about bolo-ball had made Saoirse briefly wonder whether it was fair for her to keep playing now that she knows that she has an advantage over the other players since she can use the Force, which in turn made her worry about what might happen to her scholarship, but as a sportswoman Saoirse feels like she probably will have to at least tell her Coach and see what he thinks about the situation. Maybe, Saoirse thinks before setting the subject aside for the time being, the fact that she didn't know she had an unfair advantage until now will weigh in on whatever decision is made about her scholarship, or maybe, if she ultimately decides that she wants to be a Jedi and train full time at the academy, she is worrying needlessly about something that won't matter in the long run.
Waving to a few students that recognize her or that she recognizes as they make their off campus and into the city, Saoirse remembers that Atlantis had said something about clearing the mists if she wanted to read, which prompts her to ask Atlantis her first question, "You said before that you could clear the mists? Do you mean push them away, like moving the bolo-ball with telekinesis? Or can you control the weather with the Force? Not wanting Atlantis to think she is asking if he can do it so she can read, Saoirse jokes, Don't think you're off the hook about the questions, I don't want you to do it now. Remembering the talk about bowing makes her think that maybe her tone with him is a little casual, and so she asks another question before he can answer the last one, Should I be calling you sir or something? I know you said you aren't interested in bowing and all, but you also said it is a way for others to show their respect. Since I do respect you, she looks over and meets his eyes so he knows she is sincere in saying so rather than trying to be a brownnoser, and appreciate all you've done and are doing for me, I just wondered if I should . . . be more respectful in how I address you? It's just, Saoirse explains, you seem so casual, which has been great and made all of this easier, so I've been casual too, but maybe I shouldn't have been, or should start being less casual now that you are my teacher?"
Laughing a little since she has the feeling that Atlantis will probably tell her not to worry about it, Saoirse says, "I guess we can figure all that kind of thing out as we go, huh? Wanting to move off the subject and get onto a more interesting one, not realizing that she is pelting Atlantis questions, Saoirse asks, Speaking of figuring things out, how did you find out you were a Force user? Remembering that she has always thought that Jedi and Imperial Knights start their training when they are way younger than she is, Saoirse adds another question to the mounting list, How old are most of your students? Smiling as she wonders if she is going to be surrounded by a bunch of toddlers or preschoolers that are all more advanced in their training than she is, Saoirse jokes, Well, I guess you'll have a free babysitter now, if you and the other teachers all want to take a break and go out."

On the way to the MO Academy
While they had been leaving campus, Atlantis knew that they were getting some looks, and while some students had recognized Saoirse because she had been one of their star players for this University, some of the faculty members that they had crossed path with seemed to have known Atlantis too. There were no exchanges, nothing was said but just looks. He did caught their gaze too and smiled warmly so they wouldn't really confuse Atlantis to his identical twin, Andros. Andros was still one of the representatives of Umgul, and he was from time to time present at some functions Atlantis figured. Maybe graduation, or anything else that involved the teaching corp on the planet. Atlantis didn't really know, his own personal agenda, and his brother's were very different, and when they did get together, work per se was never involved but Andros even if he relaxed a little bit, always and still had that aura about him that intimidated people as to a lot he kept that seemed to be perpetual glare on his features.
That was how people that knew he and his brother could distinguish them in a way. Atlantis was more open, and Andros seemed uninterested or just unimpressed with everything. Yet last Atlantis had heard was that people seemed genuinely happy in the City or overall in the planet with how the government had been tending to its citizen, and overall welfare. Atlantis often found himself thanking the Force or even the powers-that-be, whomever they may be if people believed in that for the sense of peacefulness this planet has been going through especially after the accusations both government and Jedi Order on this planet had endured. He knew nonetheless to never let his guard down, and he also knew that there was a situation that was still looming above their heads. But that was a different matter altogether that he figured he'd have to address when the time was right.
Thankfully though, Saoirse's question was something he had caught, despite being caught in his own thoughts briefly, Atlantis just looked at her with a warm smile. He knew she had plenty of questions she had said so herself, and he did not mind them at all. After all, being curious showed interest, and that was something he welcomed wholeheartedly. Each of her questions, he kept those in mind and stored them to revisit them when the time was right. When he caught her eyes as she assured him that she respected him, Atlantis nodded to let her know that he knew. After all, he was still here, and the two of them seemed to get along great, right? Usually Atlantis was rarely wrong in grasping a person's personality, lest they were trying to be deceitful like he had encountered some a few times. But this wasn't the case, not once his own defense mechanism had crept up, that nagging feeling in the back of a person's mind to be more guarded or anything else.
That's how he knew, and while their casual rapport could be interpreted as too casual for a lot, Atlantis had preferred it that way, it was easier to connect and gain a certain rapport with a person. "We'll definitely figure it out as we go. Don't worry about it also." Atlantis said softly as he glanced back at her with a warm friendly grin. His grin turned into a smile when she asked him a little bit about himself. He figured that would eventually come up. "I was very young, no more than 5, if I remember correctly, one of my cousins — well we aren't technically related, it's just this family found my brother and I one day in the slums of Coruscant — went too deep and came face to face with a dianoga. My brother, who is also attuned to the Force, and I tried to help our cousin and we started experiencing the current of the Force. That is how we have been found, a Jedi Master actually was down there, and saved my cousin." Atlantis had that faraway look as at the time he had not realized at all that the Master Jedi was none other than Virgil Solaris.
Though that was a different story, and Atlantis smiled once again looking back at her before shaking his head lightly. "No babysitters will be needed, the Academy has some intendants from time to time also, also mostly some of the farming community outside of the City but also relatively close to the Academy like coming in to donate some of their excess crops." He explained with a warm smile, that at least he supposed was public knowledge on the reasoning why a few things had occurred on this planet, and why the farming community as a whole appreciated Andros for what he had done in the past. "As for how old the students are, some are as young as 3, and the eldest, probably 15/16." He thought for a moment about the ages, since Atlantis usually never really bothered with those, as some who felt ready to explore the galaxy made it known to him and the others, he never stopped any one wanting to leave.
As he and Saoirse stepped really out of the City as a whole, and they were relatively in a non populated area, Atlantis looked at her briefly and turned his gaze before them, after all the mist was much more heavier in this area, which was one of the reasons why he loved walking, it soothed him in a way. He started calling on the Force canalizing the energy and pushing it outwards to the point that a large diameter bubble seemed to be surrounding the both of them, clearing the mist in the process. Keeping that sphere activated, required for him to keep his presence in the Force. "Answer to your first question, like the limmie-ball indeed." Atlantis confirmed with a knowing smile. "I cannot control the weather per se with the Force, though I can alter the environment when it's necessary." He knew that he was potentially begging for more questions, or anything but he welcomed it, though he could not help but to say. "I am surprised though that no one detected your affinity before now, have you been experiencing your burst of speed relatively recently?"
Atlantis kept his connection to the Force and kept maintaining that clear sphere around them while they walked, besides, only a mile or two, and they'd be at the Academy soon enough, anyways.

Outside of Umgul City - On way to Mist Order Academy
Saoirse returns Atlantis' smile when he lays her fears to rest about the matter of how informal or formal she should be with him, confirming that the matter will be one that they work out together as they continue with her training. For now, Saoirse decides, she will just continue being herself and keeping things as casual and natural as they have been; though she does suppose that when they reach the academy she should probably err more on the respectful side, as she wouldn't want to set a bad example for the students already being taught there.
Listening intently as Atlantis answers her question about how he learned he was able to use the Force, Saoirse's eyes widen when he says he and his brother were taken in by a family that , from what he says, sounds as though it ultimately become their found family in the slums of Coruscant. Having grown up poor in the Underlevels of Coruscant herself, Saoirse is surprised by the coincidence of their shared homeworld, but doesn't interrupt Atlantis as he continues on with his story. Saoirse has never heard of a dianoga, but as any denizen of Coruscant's lower levels knows, the deeper down you go, the more chance you stand of running into all kinds of dangerous mutant species, and so she assumes that a dianoga is simply one of them that she hasn't heard of until now. Whatever it was, the dianoga was dangerous enough that Atlantis and his brother must have used the Force on an instinctive level like she has been doing, and since they were trying to save their cousin, it was probably in a more powerful or noticeable way since facing a dianoga sounds way more dangerous than playing bolo-ball. Whatever it was that Atlantis and his brother did, it was enough to attract the attention of the Jedi Master that saved them. "Wow," is all Saoirse manages to say in an awed tone when he finishes his story, something in her expression suggesting that what he has said has made her think of something that has not quite formulated itself completely in her head yet.
Atlantis goes on then to answer her questions about the ages of the students at the academy, and Saoirse is glad to hear that, while she'll be the oldest student there, it won't be as large an age gap as she thought it might be. Laughing when Atlantis addresses her babysitting joke by explaining that the academy has that job covered with help from administrators or even nearby farmers that also donate crops to the academy, Saoirse swipes some imaginary sweat from her brow with a grin.
Stopping when Atlantis shows her what he had meant about clearing the mists, Saoirse turns around in a circle to take in the strange sight of the mists being held back around them as though they are in a bubble, repeating another awed, "Wow!" She looks a little bit confused when Atlantis explains he can't control the weather, but can alter the environment, but Saoirse doesn't bombard him with any more questions since he asks one of her before she has the chance.
Resuming walking alongside Atlantis when he sets out again, Saoirse doesn't answer immediately, the question helping her finally make the connection between the story Atlantis told and the idea it had brought to her mind that she hadn't been able to fully form until now. Once she has made the connection, Saoirse says, "I've been wondering about that too, ever since you told me I could use the Force. I think maybe it has something to do with how I've only ever used it to do little things that are mostly just enhancing my natural abilities. I've played bolo-ball since I was in grade school, right? At least some of, maybe even most of my speed and agility are from exercise and training. The other stuff, sensing where my teammates or members of the opposing team are, or that I'm about to be tackled, that doesn't happen all the time. Maybe that's why no one has detected my affinity? I mean, when yours and your brother's was detected, you were, like, in real danger, so maybe whatever you did was . . . bigger, or stronger than what I do? Shrugging her shoulders, Saoirse says, Plus, there aren't any Jedi on Coruscant now. Even before the First Order liberated us, the Jedi had left. And I've never seen any Imperial Knights in the Underlevels, only on the holonet. Looking over at Atlantis and shrugging with a smile that suggests she isn't going to let the question of why she was discovered later than most trouble her much, Saoirse says, I guess I just fell through the cracks due to all of that stuff combined."

Outside Umgul City — On way to MO Academy
Saoirse's exclamations particularly when he had cleared the mists around them made him smile. She truly was discovering first hands, he guessed, what a Force sensitive with training could do with the Force. Manipulate their surroundings, gauge people's mood when someone knew what to look for. Atlantis knew that she had been taking all the information he had been provided to heart, and he also did notice her surprise when he particularly mentioned where he was originally found. Atlantis hadn't commented about it, or got back to it, even if he was genuinely curious. He figured though she'd share if she wanted to.
Which was what she did in a way when she answered the reasons why she had not been discovered before now. Her analysis, and the difference on how the Force manifested for him, and for her, did seem sound. He would venture that guess too, but Atlantis wasn't really one to dwell too much into those things especially when he just respectfully preferred to listen attentively to what she had been sharing with him. Atlantis still had been keeping himself informed, or at least he tried to keep himself informed, in a way, and it was true that Coruscant was no longer under the Republic, or even had a Jedi presence there massively. Nonetheless, Atlantis looked at Saoirse with a smile and inclined his head.
"Coruscant too, huh?" Atlantis mused and somewhat still remembered his time there too, where it definitely all began for him, but also when he was faced with the toughest personal trial he could have ever imagined. It was where Atlantis had been the witness of his brother's downfall in the dark side, and from there he had met people. People who did care enough to help him get his brother to redeem himself. Those were the same people that always had his back and stayed, not out of duty, but because they started to feel like a family. Briefly looking down after breathing deeply and letting out a relaxed breath, Atlantis looked right in front of him before turning his attention back to Saoirse, "I am glad that you were liberated by the First Order," Perhaps it was surprising for him to say this, perhaps not, all in all, he respected the FO in a way, even if there were some policies he'd never condone, then again just like the Jedi Order as a whole.
Atlantis never saw eye to eye with the representatives that came here back them to get the MO to join the Jedi Order. "I am also glad that you have found your way here. And your Coach did mention to me you were here on scholarship." Atlantis had to let her know at least that he spoke with her Coach, and perhaps at some point it would come up that the Coach knew him due to past events here in Umgul. However that wasn't the issue now, right now it was just the difference on how he was found, and why she wasn't found. "I don't really remember what my brother and I did, or even my cousin. But indeed however trained or not you are, someone who has been manipulating the Force for while now would pick it up easily." Atlantis explained thoughtfully, "It's after all while watching you during your game today that I have felt it." Nodding faintly, and looking before him, they were at their destination. Atlantis expanded tenfold the bubble that was around them to let her see the Academy before them.
"We are here," Grinning at the sight of the Academy, he always did, as he remembered that dear friend of his that had thought about the design of this, and just constructed the Academy for the Mist Order.

Saoirse grins as she gets into the airspeer and buckles up, warning Atlantis, "Ohh, you might regret that writing questions down suggestion, laughing as she imagines arriving at the academy with a huge stack of paper filled with all of the questions she thinks of between now and then. And you don't have to go slow on my account, she adds with a smile, Where's the fun in that?"
Even though she hadn't imagined she would have any room in her head for more information, what Atlantis had said about teaching Nick and the other students before her tour of the academy tomorrow had brought a question to mind, and Saoirse guesses the answer shouldn't be too challenging a one for her to add to everything else she has learned, so asks, "You said Nick and the others' lessons would be done before the tour? So, what does a typical day for a learner look like? Remembering that Atlantis and the other teachers all seem to have responsibilities outside of the academy, Saoirse wonders aloud, Or is it kind of variable depending on who is around to teach on a given day?" Since she will be doing her university classes remotely in addition to learning at the academy, Saoirse naturally wonders how she will need to manage her time, though she also supposes that she may just have to get used to not having a set schedule; self-discipline is something Saorise learned at a pretty early age, given how she needed to balance her bolo-ball practice with classes, so she doesn't have any real concerns about needing to be diligent enough to balance her university classes with her learning at the academy.
Thinking about the responsibilities the other teachers have brings yet another question to mind, and, tucking a strand of her dark black hair that has escaped from her ponytail behind the ivory hued vestigial horn in front of her right ear, Saoirse asks, "What kind of uniforms were Horsea and Forcias wearing? Mace, Saoirse recalls had been wearing a cloak, but other than the lightsaber on her hip, didn't wear anything that particularly screamed Jedi, and could have easily passed for a smuggler or mercenary. Thinking about Mace's lightsaber, Saoirse finds she can't recall seeing any of the younglings having them on their hips even though she imagines that learning to use them is a part of their learning, as it will be hers, which leads her to wonder aloud with very little apparent connection to her previous question, When do learners start training in lightsaber stuff?" Saoirse grins with a shake of her head, trying to imagine herself with a lightsaber and learning to use it, which seems so strange when the closest thing she has ever done to fighting is tackling or getting tackled on the pitch during bolo-ball games.

Outside Umgul City — On route to Umgul University
Atlantis did throw his head back laughing wholeheartedly at the questions Saoirse had more for him before he looked back in front of them, while he was currently at a standstill hovering in the air. Looking at her with amusement, Atlantis had that knowing look. "Figured you'd have more questions." He told her teasingly as since Saoirse did not mind at all if he went fast, he figured he would make this trip taking the long route. "Fast it is." With that he pushed the thrusters forward thankfully though since this airspeeder was closed and not open, the wind wouldn't get in their way at all. Atlantis was still passively keeping his awareness in the Force, and just knew that even if he wasn't paying attention to the lane in front of him, he'd know if there were any obstacles.
His piloting aside though, he was silent for a moment to reorganize his thoughts per her questions, and he glanced at her briefly. "Tomorrow, Nick's group, there are a few of them, about seven, will be taught on how to do a few things at once. Acrobatics, and telekinesis and its variant, on piling up marbles one by one while maintaining a straight line on it as they are standing on a beam with one foot." It could have been a lot for the untrained to begin with, but Atlantis was very confident that while perhaps some of them failed, some would succeed. Smiling warmly at the thought, and nodding soon enough to explain the process. "I usually handle that side, and like you have mentioned, depending on who is teaching at the moment, it'll be an entire different ball game." Rubbing his jaw momentarily to find the quickest explanation on that, well he supposed he did not have to search too far. "For example the Vos cousins are known to meditate mid-air, so either Ayla, or Mace with a bit older students, make the students do that, while other every day items are floating around them. That goes without saying that we will also purposely interrupt them whether it's olfactory, or visually and even loud noises."
Ah those Kiffar uniforms, though no link with her follow up question, which actually made him smile to be honest. "Horsea, and Forcias, but also Ayla." Atlantis started to say with a somewhat faraway look as he slowed down the speeder at least. "Originally, they were Kiffu guardians, but their uniforms changed to make it their own to make a point that they were no longer under Kiffu, or Kiffex orders, but under a clan they protect at all cost." He supposed he could put it that way. "They are part of a certain military chain of command, and their ranks are on their shoulders uniform, along with the insigna on whom they answer to." Nodding knowingly, he of course knew all about that chain of command, Atlantis had met them originally a long time ago, to the point that when he had come face to face with the General of the Kiffu Guardians, who happened to be Horsea's brother, well the man was very tall, why that tall, from what Atlantis knew it was due to some problems back when he was younger and having enhanced growth or something.
That matter aside, Atlantis figured that he wouldn't bring up Honoros since Saoirse had not seen him yet, Atlantis figured that was a matter that could be shelved pertaining the General, though he was still and also ready for other questions concerning the Kiffars she saw today in their uniforms. "When they feel ready, we have some saber learners so that they can be taught to deflect blaster shots, though in this case stun shots. But in the end, since those lightsabers weren't constructed by them at all, they will have to scavenge for a crystal and build their lightsaber. That is when usually they are ready for the trials." Atlantis explained thoughtfully with a smile. "Lest they are Jedi Knights, you won't find any of the younglings with a lightsaber hilt in the Academy."

Outside Umgul City — On route to Umgul University
Saoirse laughs when Atlantis says he had assumed she would have more questions, "That probably isn't going to change anytime soon, sorry." Since she is starting to learn about the Force at a much older age than most, and hadn't known much about it or what the Jedi believe in or do until today since she grew up on Coruscant, which had been for the majority of her life the capital of the First Order, where Jedi were rarely spoken of, if they were spoken of at all, Saoirse figures that she will take more than a little time to reach the level of understanding that even the younglings like Nick at the academy possess. Some might find it daunting to start of at such an apparent disadvantage, but Saoirse has never been one to let obstacles stand in her way when she sets her mind to something, and trusts that with Atlantis to guide her and with time and hard work, she will find her footing soon enough.
Listening as Atlantis explains what the younglings are typically instructed in during a given day, Saoirse isn't surprised that, as she guessed, it can vary depending on which instructors are available at the time. As an athlete that has always trained hard to keep in shape, and build endurance and agility, Saoirse doesn't think she'll have too much difficulty in some of the areas that Atlantis speaks of, though she imagines that the addition of needing to utilize telekinesis while under duress will be more challenging until she has gotten used to focusing on more than one thing at a time. That learners are required to train in the combination of physical and physical tasks makes perfect sense to her though, given that it something a Jedi would need to be adept at for several reasons she can think of, and Saoirse finds herself looking forward to the challenge rather than being intimidated by it. "What other kinds of things do they do?" Saoirse asks eagerly, wondering what other kinds of training or fields of study learners might focus on other than those Atlantis has mentioned, and then grins as she realizes that she has interrupted Atlantis, who is already answering her question about the uniforms Horsea, Forcias and Ayla had been wearing. Knowing Atlantis, Saoirse figures he will be able to circle back to her question once he's answered her other one, and so she just listens to his answer and tells herself not to interrupt again.
"Kiffu Guardians? What're those? Saoirse asks, not familiar with the group, but gathering from what Atlantis has said that they were not always a part of the Mist Order. What clan is it that they protect? Do you mean they are part of Umgul's military?" Saoirse asks, feeling pretty sure they aren't, the way Atlantis talks about their uniforms as their own almost suggesting that the former Kiffu Guardians have become their own unit.
Nodding after Atlantis explains that lightsabers are something only Jedi Knights carry, though learners are trained in their use with saber learners, Saoirse thinks about what other kinds of combat training a Jedi might need and asks, "Do they . . . we train in hand to hand stuff too? Who teaches that? Grinning as she realizes she has asked way more questions than she had planned to and should give Atlantis a chance to answer them now, Saoirse holds a hand up with a laugh, I promise, that'll be the last question for now. Probably."

Outside Umgul City — On route to Umgul University
Smiling at the interest Saoirse had in definitely wanting to learn, and also understand a few or several things, Atlantis nodded slightly as if to let her know that she definitely could go on, or at least for however long this trip was going to take them, though still he was taking the long route at least, so that they could still talk, exchange, and so mainly really he could fill her on several things she wished to know. He figured he would order the answers he had for her to the question she had, which was why he started with the Kiffars.
"The Kiffu Guardians were actually the ones that patrolled the prisons on Kiffex, and they were also the ones enforcing the law on the main planet." He smiled at the memory, on when he had actually been to both worlds as he had needed Mace's assistance for something that was very complicated for him. "As for the clan they are protecting, well..." He paused there, and closed his eyes momentarily before rubbing the root of his nose, he knew that this should not come from him. He looked at her apologetically this time and smiled slightly. "All I can tell you is that, if you do remember the insigna on their shoulder, I am sure you can find it in the library." Atlantis told her to look for that five point gold star, that was superposed on either the Mist Government's logo, or the Mist Order's logo. Ayla had that latter variation, while Horsea had that other one. He hoped that through his gaze Saoirse would understand that it's not that he wanted to withhold information from her, because yes in a sense he was, but this also wasn't his place to say, and perhaps she should ask one of the Kiffars at some point. "They are not part of Umgul military at all." That at least Atlantis could definitely answer, because that was a fact, the Kiffars did not answer to the the military here, and while it was perhaps difficult to grasp, everyone in the government was quite aware that they were under Mace's prime directive, not that she ever enforced any type of rulings.
Finally focusing on the lane ahead, which Atlantis knew that it was probably and potentially some of the last questions he would answer today, he stopped the airspeeder, letting it hover in the air and looked at her with a knowing grin glad that she had finally started the word we to include herself to the teachings too. "Solve puzzles, is one of the things they also do, or even tend to the faun and flora. Also assist the farmers sometimes so that they are taught compassion as well." That last part could have been surprising to a lot, or perhaps not. But helping others was key too, and he was glad that it was sinking in, with Cih and Tach helping out Rikki earlier to find that marble he smiled and then nodded. "Yes, hand to hand combat is also taught, and sometimes others that aren't younglings at all join in to learn." After all defending oneself was a good idea if they wanted to. "Several of us know different forms of martial arts." Finally nearing to their destination, Atlantis started the descent of the airspeeder to its designated parking spots by the University.

On route to the lakehouse
Franz was mostly silent throughout the journey, when he got the airspeeder up in the air and maneuvered the vehicle in the direction of the lakehouse. He did not say much and only spoke whenever someone addressed him which obviously wouldn't be Elika at this point since she seemed to have fallen asleep from the looks of it. He had heard what Crystal had asked Atlantis, and honestly, he had not step foot into that place in a while now. He knew that Atlantis was from time to time there when Crystal was, along with Lily, but last he heard Lily was on a business trip.
He was certain that the attorney general would be coming back home first thing. Even if Andros had not told her to, she would. Franz knew her that much, and yes, she still intimidated him from time to time.
"We are nearly there." He whispered softly, since he truly did not want to disturb Elika in her slumber. She was drunk, and she was shot up with sedatives. He did not blame the Lieutenant for getting Elika to drink, to calm her down. That was something that all of them would have to deal with the following days. For now, just for now, what was important was getting Elika back to her home that she still shared with Crystal and Lily, and hopefully ease back into a new normal.
Lakehouse
Setting down the airspeeder to the driveway after Atlantis or Crystal opened the security gate of the property, Franz shut down the engine, and turned around peering at Elika wondering if she was actually asleep. "I can carry her in, if you want me to?" Franz suggested to both Crystal and Lana actually and just looked back at Elika waiting to see for a moment if she had truly fallen asleep there...

Atlantis had leaned back previously when he heard Crystal addressing him about Elika's room. That was easy, since he was the one who had handled Elika's bedroom back then. He left everything untouched, but he did remember that neither Lily nor Crystal had it in them to actually handle that so to speak. "I handled her room. I'll sort it out before we get there." He replied in a low tone, before taking a deep breath and closing his eyes briefly he asked his doppelganger that favor to make the bed in Elika's room.
Inclining his head upon hearing Franz's whispered words, Atlantis looked behind him and smiled faintly seeing Elika resting on Lana's shoulder and Crystal seated next to one of her closest friends. "I'll go ahead, I'll see you soon." With that said, Atlantis actually jumped out of the airspeeder after making sure that there was no traffic around and rushed towards the lakehouse quickly when he landed on his feet on the ground.
Lakehouse
Getting to the Lakehouse was a simple task, and thankfully his doppelganger was already there and had started making the bed, Atlantis looked at his doppelganger and thanked him, before he disappeared right before him after he gained the information he had gathered in the Academy. Well, that certainly was going to be eventful there the next few days, and no doubt Saoirse would have plenty more questions indeed. It got him to chuckle as he continued to make the bed, putting new sheets and also pillow covers. Thankfully since the lakehouse in its entirety was often cleaned, and dusted, the room was clean. Changing the setting on the window and putting a landscape design on it in lieu of the clear see through windows, Atlantis satisfied, finally walked out of Elika's bedroom and breathed softly, glancing at the portrait that was above Elika's bed rest.
He did not know why, but each time he saw the portrait he thought of simple phrases, but he also felt like he owed it to the person there. Closing the door behind him, Atlantis dimmed the lights into the living room like he had done for Elika's bedroom and stepped out of the lakehouse noticing that Franz was pulling over. Putting the thumbs up when he caught Crystal's gaze, Atlantis just opened the door wider waiting for the rest to come in.

Lakehouse
Recognizing the route that Franz had taken, for the many times she had done so herself in the past, Lana, who had Elika's glasses down her shirt just above her jacket and her arm around the architect was just silently sitting there and holding Elika's hand. Closing her eyes and remembering the times she had gotten into her own speeder to check if Elika had returned back then, Lana knew that despite her happiness now, she also knew that she couldn't quite forget those three years of wondering. There were just days where she didn't feel like doing anything, and there were just days she felt punching the hell out of something.
From time to time she took some personal days, and actually went to Honoghr to see her brother to blow off some steam there with her preferred sparring partner. He never held back his punches, and he actually never gave up on hope. Nash always comforted her there, or when she was here when they were on comms. Delaana knew that there were still parts of her that she had not revealed to anyone, only one person knew about here in Umgul, and he had never said anything, nor did she. However she often wondered if and when everyone here would find out, what their reactions would be.
Lana felt guilty at first, and although she had first taken that as an assignment, as the days went by, it no longer was one. She truly and did genuinely cared, and wondered many times if she would reveal all of that to Elika if and when they'd see each other again...
Putting a lid onto that matter for now, Lana who had noticed Atlantis jumping out of the airspeeder, smiled knowingly, but her smile did falter a bit for she knew that the Grandmaster of the Mist Order, along with his girlfriend, who Lana knew was attuned to the Force also, deeply cared about Elika. Lana just knew that she'd have to be constantly mindful of her thoughts around the Jedi.
Finally when they were down the driveway of the property, Lana looked at Franz with a grateful smile, and inclined her head. "Please, yes, the sedated should have taken over now, I believe." Lana said softly before carefully moving away from Elika, still supporting her head to not make any sudden movements, Lana carefully got out of the way so that Franz could get her out of the airspeeder and get her into the home Elika shared with Crystal and Lily.

Crystal nodded when Atlantis had informed her that he would handle the bedroom since it turned out that she never did, nor did Lily. Figures, back then she couldn't quite bring herself to do so as it felt like probably she was giving up. Thankfully though nothing was removed there, all of Elika's belongings remained, even the Shiraya statue that was put on top of the indoor fountain by the entrance had remained. Crystal wasn't ready to let go back then, but she was actually quite comfortable either to be there and be constantly reminded of her friend's absence. Three years...
Taking a deep breath and remembering for Elika's sake, at least for the following days, they will have to spend more time together again, and just find their new normal. For now Elika was sleeping, and at least tonight she also could sleep easy.
Once they got to the lakehouse, she noticed that Atlantis was standing there, and gave him a smile before picking up the shoes, and the flask and stepped out of the airspeeder as Franz carried Elika. "Stay and sleep here tonight, Lana." Crystal said to the Hapan, though in any case, she was certain that Lana would stay in any case after all since she had seen the Hapan being affected as the rest of them by Elika's disappearance.
Once she was certain that Franz had Elika, she led the way to the architect's room and opened the door walking straight to the bed, pulling the covers aside, and putting the shoes under the bed, before stepping on the side to let Franz place Elika on the comforter. Stepping out briefly from the room, Crystal took two glasses of water and filled them up to bring them back to Elika's room just in case, putting them on the nightstand.
Mouthing a goodnight, Crystal stepped out of the room with Franz leaving both Elika and Lana together there, knowing for her case at least, sleep wouldn't be coming soon enough. After closing the door behind her, Crystal took a deep breath and just let it out slowly. Finally walking towards the living room, Crystal removed her jacket, and sat on the couch, glancing at Atlantis and Franz with a faint frown. "How do you both even deal with this? Crystal asked softly and dubiously. A big part of her was happy of course because her friend was back, but that other part of her knew she couldn't quite erase the past, nor could see, it wasn't as if she had the luxury to do so. So the next best thing was to ask both of the Master Jedi that were here with her.

Acquiescing with a nod when Lana asked him to actually carry Elika, Franz got out of the B69 and walked silently at the passengers' side at the back to get Elika out from there. Not really wanting to disturb her or cause any disturbances that would wake her up, Franz utilized the Force to pull her out carefully from the airspeeder. Once she was just floating right in front of him did he move into position to actually carry her into the lakehouse.
Thankfully Atlantis had gone ahead and earlier he could have sworn to have felt the doppelganger's signature briefly before he guessed Atlantis dismissed him. Once inside the place, Franz looked briefly around and it truly was as he remembered it. The statue was still there, the fountain too. He supposed that some changes had been made but overall none he could see, not that he was truly focused on finding the differences as he was more focused on not getting Elika hit her head on the wall or anywhere.
Laying Elika gently onto her comforter after actually removing her jacket so she would be more comfortable, Franz smiled and inclined his head towards Lana whom he figured would definitely stay here the night. Slowly walking out of Elika's room, Franz took a deep breath before sighing as he sat down on the couch. This whole evening in a sense was so surreal to him, and there was still that what tomorrow would bring once Elika woke up.
Looking in Crystal's direction when asked that question, Franz pursed his lips briefly. "Good question. I suppose for my case I'll just be there if and when she wants to talk, but she will want to talk with you first and foremost. Well maybe after speaking with Delaana." Smirking at the thought and statement, he supposed that Elika would definitely want to reconnect and probably might feel some changes that occurred individually depending on the person she was talking to. "Bottom line, she is back and we'll do everything and anything to make her feel comfortable also..."
Franz was trying to remember how he was actually three years ago, he actually had taken over Lucy, and right, he was subdued back then for a few reasons, and time just somewhat got him back to how he was before that. Sure he had changed but it wasn't as drastic he guessed... He supposed he'd have to be here tomorrow, and so he should be, it was late though, so probably best to get a good night sleep and see what tomorrow brought. "At least we can all agree on the fact that we'll all sleep better now, no?"

Elikapeka neither wakes nor stirs as she is taken from the speeder and then deposited atop her bed, her breathing deep, slow and steady even when Franz removes her jacket. Beneath the murky depths of sedation and inebriation her anxieties frolic and play, occasionally surfacing from her subconscious in the form of fragmented, illogical dreams that will have faded by the time she wakes; she dreams of being freed from the cross road of the space in some distant future instead of now to find everything and everyone she had none gone, she dreams of being stuck in the cross road forever without ever knowing that she is stuck, and she dreams other variations on the general theme that flicker and fade quickly just like all of the other dreams.
Save for turning onto her right side shortly after Franz lays her on her bed and leaves the room, Elika doesn't move as she sleeps even though her insomnia typically makes any slumber she gets restless and fitful, the sedative and flask of brandy ensuring that, in addition to being free from all save the softest whispers of anxiety laden dreams that dissipate quickly, her sleep is actually restful, ensuring, if nothing else, that exhaustion will not be among the challenges awaiting her when she eventually wakes.

Atlantis knew that tonight nothing else would happen, at least he could take comfort in the fact that Elika, and even Lucy were back both unharmed, and just both as they were when they all last saw them. Plus Elika was no soundly asleep, so tonight there would be no talks, no catching up or whatever. That gave them some reprieve overall. When Crystal though was the first one that broke the silence in the living room, Atlantis looked at her for a moment, silently maybe too silently, he was thankful that Franz had been the first one to talk.
The pragmatic and hopeful side of him actually would just take the good news and go from there. Atlantis had known losses, he had faced brutal losses, and deaths around him. Not that he would even compare what Crystal had gone through her life but at least for this case here, the person they all have been worried about and missing, she was back and sleeping in her room.
"I am with Franz there..." Atlantis began to say looking at Crystal. He and she hadn't really talked much about this, her feelings, how she felt and all, and he too hadn't really talked about it. They were both dealing with it in their own ways, and because they were both affected by it to a certain degree, or equally, they just did their thing on the side and also kept living at the same time. "We are all three years older, but to Elika it's not, so we'll just have to keep on living our lives, and find that path so that we can all meet her halfway." Knowing Elika as much as he was certain Crystal knew her, just like Lily, the Architect might truly be worried the next day, and perhaps some worse case scenarios had been cooking up in her mind.
Who knew? He was not a mind reader unlike some he knew.
"It wasn't her fault, it's no one's fault. So just focus on the good news, she is here, she is home with us." Smiling warmly, and hoping to put Crystal at ease at least, Atlantis stood up from the couch, and took her hand. "C'mon, let's try to get some sleep, after all, like Franz has said, we'll all sleep better in knowing that Elika is here now." Nodding in his cousin's direction, Atlantis walked with Crystal to her room, and actually just that night, while they talked for a bit more, he knew that he had dozed off peacefully until the wee hours of when he would habitually wake up.
Freshening up and just disregarding the whole work up for this morning, he actually had something else in mind, Atlantis went straight to the kitchen wearing a shirt and loose pants to start brewing some vine-caf, and also checking the pantry thinking about what breakfast, he could make. Fruits, eggs, and bacon, but also pancakes, looked about good to him. His mind seemed lighter at least, and he seemed more at ease than he was actually with one less worry to think about.
While he started to mix the batter, Atlantis picked up his datapad, and sent a message to all of the Mist Order Councilors not that they were several of them just to inform all of them that today, or at least this morning, he wouldn't be teaching any classes, also a message that he sent to the administrators. Knowing at least that some of the older students had returned, they could certain take over if they felt like it as they used to do before their retreat.
Messages sent, Atlantis focused on breakfast making because after all, he was the first one up, and also because everyone needed coffee in the morning, who wanted to even start having a conversation without coffee first in their system.

Thankful for Franz who carried Elika into her room, and placed her onto her bed, Lana smiled faintly and gratefully as she her Crystal telling her to stay the night. Though she had to admit she felt a little bit conflicted in a way, particularly after she had been left alone in the room here with Elika, who obviously was soundly sleeping. This was actually the first time Lana had stepped into Elika's room and she obviously did not want to assume or even sleep next to her, thankfully at least there was a couch in the room, and Lana felt that it would be safer there to sleep.
Upon sitting down on the couch, Delaana who had muted her datapad to not disturb Elika, started typing a message to her brother to inform him of the change of plans on her side. After all, she had some upcoming offs, and she was going to head to Honoghr to spend some time with him as it was her habit for the last three years, but clearly with Elika's return, Lana wouldn't make the trip.
As Lana was about to dim out her datapad when she looked up in Elika's direction who had moved, she noticed the faint outlines of a portrait above her headboard. But since it was dark, and her being tired overall also, she didn't try to figure out what that piece was about, so instead of wondering further, Lana laid down comfortably on the couch. Thankfully this time around, the nightmare she had frequently did not come instead another one had replaced it one she couldn't quite decipher as it was all blurry but she knew that she and Elika were both in it...
The next day, Lana finally opened her eyes a bit disoriented due to the lack of lights in the room, and she blinked a few times before remembering she wasn't in her own room but in Elika's. Breathing softly and sitting on the couch silently, Lana looked at Elika's sleeping figure still, and smiled genuinely and wholeheartedly for the first time in a very long time it seemed to her.
Knowing that probably if she stayed here in the room, well for one maybe it would startle her Shakal, thus she slowly stood up leaving her coat on the couch but taking her datapad with her and silently made her way out of the room, to head to the kitchen. She was already smelling the scent of coffee, and she found Atlantis there, greeting him with a smile. "Morning, do you need any help?" Lana asked dubiously since he seemed to be cooking breakfast, and also she wanted to help out since after all she owed it to the people here in a large sense as they allowed her to stay here the night...

Crystal conceded with the guys' points. There was nothing more to it, and Crystal figured that whatever messages probably that made her sound perhaps begging or desperate to hear some news from Elika, she and Elika could talk about it, and maybe Crystal could apologize already the next day when they ended up talking. For the time being she would try to get some sleep, but like Franz said, sleep did come easier, she knew she had fallen asleep while she and Atlantis had still been talking in bed. That was just it, in the comfort of his arms, and her mind at peace with this situation resolved...
Crystal had woken up just after Atlantis had stepped out of the bedroom, and actually it has been a while since she had had this kind of restful sleep. Determined to start this day on a good note, Crystal changed into one of her workout outfits and decided to actually just go for a run around the property after informing her man of the fact. Crystal felt quite at ease, and even if she still had that other pending situation tied to her family, things hopefully were starting to look up for her...
An hour after, Crystal walked into the lakehouse, lowering the zipper of her jacket and walking straight into the kitchen seeing that Lana was also awake. "Morning you two." Crystal's voice was cheerful, and quite happy actually, before she walked over to Atlantis and kissed him. "Elika still sleeping?" Crystal asked dubiously as she took some coffee cups from the cabinet and poured some coffee for herself and Lana, handing it to the Hapan, and also putting one by Atlantis.
"Is Andros coming over later?" Crystal asked Atlantis thoughtfully, since after all last night Andros did not get to talk to Elika, not that both of them could probably talk considering the ongoing situation. However considering Andros now who was somewhat a little more approachable than he was a few years back, and that he did look different like Elika mentioned yesterday, Crystal figured that since Andros cared about Elika, he might stop by later.
Pouring some coffee for herself, and setting herself on one of the barstool, Crystal took a sip of her coffee just enjoying the good start of a new day...

Elikapeka wakes up disoriented, her sleep addled brain momentarily incapable of adding her hazy sedative and alcohol impaired memories of the previous evening together with the fact that she is in her own bed in a way that makes sense. Sitting up and blinking owlishly, Elika rubs her eyes and groans as her mental fog clears enough that she has a tentative grasp on what occurred, making her wish that could just lay back down burrow beneath her blankets and return to the uncomplicated forgetfulness of sleep.
"Three friggin' years," Elika mutters softly in a tone equal parts baffled and interrogative, unsure whether it is more accurate to say that she lost those years or missed them even though she is sure the question is an academic one and probably serves primarily as a means of giving her mind something to grasp onto when the idea of what happened to her and her lieutenant, and all of the questions it gives rise to, are all so difficult to take in and make sense of. Are she and Lucy three years older now that three years have passed, or since they jumped ahead in time rather than passing through it naturally are they now three years younger than their dates of birth would indicate they are? Elika supposes that she should be grateful that the jump in time was only three years, feeling a flutter of panic in her stomach as that thought leads her to ponder just how easily she and her lieutenant could have jumped ahead in time thousands of years to some unrecognizable future where everything and everyone they knew were gone. Shaking her head and trying regain some sense of equilibrium by telling herself that there really is no point in getting tangled up in what if's when there are plenty of other more concrete things to worry about, Elika starts taking deep breaths and clenches her fists as she tries to quell the anxiety building within her before it reaches a crescendo that will prevent her from dealing with anything at all and instead leave her friends stuck with dealing with her after they have endured three years of worry and confusion about what caused her absence.
The thought of what her friends must have been through is sobering enough that Elika manages to push her anxiety aside, letting her concern for them override it for the time being, and she takes another deep breath and runs her fingers through her long red hair, messy from sleep, as she reminds herself that she is not alone and tries to convince herself that she will get through things. Hearing voices from the kitchen, and smelling the scent of freshly brewed vine-caf, Elika smiles, feeling lucky to have friends that had not given up hope for her return after so long without any clue as to what had happened to her.
As she enters the kitchen and sees Delaana along with Atlantis and Crystal, Elika regrets her decision not to shower and change, or at least brush her hair, and fusses with the rumpled sleeves of her untucked blouse, buttoning them to cover the scars on her wrists as she goes over to Delaana and smiles, obviously grateful that the Hapan is here, as she embraces her tightly and pecks her on the cheek, "Good morning, my Ceesi. Consciously deciding to go for a humorous tone rather to keep anyone from worrying about her anxiety level, Elika goes over to Crystal and gives her a hug while teasing her, You didn't wake me for our jog, hon? Shaking her head and adding a playful tsk, Elika goes over to Atlantis and gives him a hug before, as she pours herself a mug of vine-caf, jokingly asking him, Shouldn't you be at the academy teaching all of your budding Jedi about now, Grandmaster?"
Returning to Delaana's side, Elika puts an arm around the Hapan's waist, drawing strength from her presence, as, only remembering bits and pieces of the prior evening and unsure how much of a fool she might have made of herself while under the influence of stress, alcohol and a strong sedative, she summons a smile that betrays some of her nervousness and anxiety as she asks in a bantering tone with the faintest note of apprehension to try and keep the conversation on a lighter note for the moment, "So, I didn't do anything too embarrassing last night, did I?"

Atlantis was making pancakes by the time Lana had joined him in the kitchen and had even plated a few of them and covering them to keep them warm still. Smiling upon looking at the Hapan, Atlantis just shook his head to let her know that it wasn't necessary at all, all she had to do was to sit down and just relax. "Nah, I got this, thanks, just have some coffee." Smiling in the process before glancing at the kitchen's threshold seeing Crystal walking in, he certainly was glad to see her this cheerful. It was to be expected, or at least he was not surprised at all.
Just when he was about to reply to her questions, Atlantis stopped mid-thought then turned his head towards the kitchen's doorway. Furrowing his eyebrow momentarily, his frown soon turned into a relieved expression as he noticed Elika walking into the kitchen. "Morning Elika," Atlantis greeted her warmly before actually returning her hug wholeheartedly, he then looked at her with an amused expression. "Well yes, my dearest Architect, but even me myself and I need a personal day here and there." He playfully replied as he actually caught the drift on what she wanted to go with right here and right now, she just wanted to keep the mood light so to speak.
"Besides, I have mastered the art of delegating too, you know. Rest assured though, I said that probably I'd head there this afternoon, and this morning I wouldn't be teaching." Grinning and walking over the fridge, Atlantis grabbed some fruit salad in it and the syrup to go with the pancakes. He took a few plates from the cabinet and placed them onto the kitchen island and gestured to the breakfast before them as if being a presenter. Pancakes, fruits, bacon, eggs. "Voilà! Breakfast is served to everyone's delight." Pulling the kitchen rag from his back pocket, Atlantis hanged it back to the rack there before putting the pans into the sink to wash them later.
Picking up the cup of coffee that Crystal had poured for him, Atlantis shook his head to let Elika know that nothing at all happened yesterday, or she didn't do anything embarrassing at all and whatsoever. Not that he noticed quite frankly, though perhaps others here did but from where he stood, nope nothing whatsoever.

One of the many perks of me being the attorney general for the government and the planet overall is that when I want something to happen it happens quickly with no time to waste. So ... last night after my comm with Baby Girl, my datapad went on a fritz, I was definitely about to toss it across the wall of the hotel I have been staying due to me actually needing some me time. Glass of wine, me in the bathtub soaking in and forget about that guy who pissed me off. Plus I had just sent the report to Boss Man, so I definitely needed a break, right? But alas, or maybe I thinking back, I should say thankfully I had decided to look at my device and noticed that all of my messages had gone through to Gorgeous ...
Different time zone, different place, to my utter dismay. I just was not home ... I probably should apologize to my chauffeur here and the bodyguards. Because yes, another thing I have been tasked with private security guards ever since Elika had disappeared. That aside, I can address that whenever.
Jet lagged, and having barely slept, or not at all since also I got the comm from Boss Man who asked me to come here and to forget about the rest of my trip, here I am now. Using my own key to enter the lakehouse while hauling my luggage and attaché case, I start hearing voices coming from the kitchen ... And oh em gee it smells good, I am so hungry ... So obviously I make my way to the kitchen, still wearing a cooperate suite, and with sunglasses that covers my eyebags, just rounding the spot, lo and behold, I actually hear Gorgeous speaking and the Hapan Bombshell is here too. Duh obviously. But wait huh, something embarrassing about last night?!
"Gorgeous, if you did something embarrassing last night, I will seriously be offended! I tell her with a hiss just leaving my luggage and case outside of the kitchen and pulling my sunglasses up to my head. You don't write, you don't comm, and you allegedly go and do something embarrassing while I am not there, how dare you? Pursing my lips and probably looking downright pissed, even if I seriously am not, as the truth is and fact is, I am truly glad that she is here, and back home. Obviously not the walk of shame, your Hapan Bombshell is here, did you party too hard while I haven't returned yet?"
Trying to recap the whole thing, not that I have been appraised of the entire situation, since Boss Man just asked me to come back for Elika would be needing me too ... Doesn't look to be the case here. Turning to look at Lover Boy and Baby Girl discreetely out of Gorgeous's view and also the Hapan Bombshell's 'dakriff happened?' Looking back at Elika soon after and smiling, I finally walk over in her direction and just hug her for in the end, at least she is back and here at home. "Hi Gorgeous, welcome back and welcome home. Stepping back from here and smiling warmly and gesturing to myself. Don't mind me, I know I look like crap, and I am jet lagged, Boss Man cut my trip short on the other side of the planet. Waving at the others, and taking a deep breath, I figured that this was too early for me to make any stupid assumptions, and I'd rather hear about things at least. Please tell me we have more coffee, Baby Girl because I seriously need a pick me up right about now ..." Sitting on the barstool by the kitchen island and completely looking like crap, my mind is just so off that I don't even start thinking about anything else. Besides the fact that Elika is back, and I am hungry, I barely slept, and I just want coffee and a pick me up.
