A few days went by after that event, even a week, or whatever, she really had no idea, she was still reeling with the loss of someone she considered as a friend. A good friend, at that, after all, in the past she got some guidance from Serrin on how to control her back then newfound ability, and now she was one with the Force. Crystal knew how much that impacted Atlantis, and she mourned with him, and she gave him space when he needed it, perhaps she was the one that needed space too. With everything that had piled up lately, Crystal had no idea where to begin, and so she adopted that usual routine to find a semblance of balance.
Work -sometimes-, home, sleep. Even work out, until she was politely told by one of her housemates that something was going to happen there. Crystal didn't question it, even if she had been curious, instead she just relented and let Elika do what she wanted to do while she relocated her work out sessions to the Mist Order's Academy for a day or two.
And then on that day, it was her lunchbreak, she had just gotten a holonet message from Lana, reading the content, Crystal exhaled softly as she made her way towards the living room. It was silent though, very silent. Glancing around and noticing the absence of people that had been here, Crystal closed her eyes momentarily to get a sense of her immediate surrounding feeling that Elika was in fact home. Walking towards Elika's studio and softly knocking on the ajar door, Crystal looked at one of her closest friends with a warm smile.
"Hi, sweetpea." Crystal greeted her with a tired voice, but smiled nonetheless. She always enjoyed Elika's company, and the comfort she provided whenever the occasion called for it. Right now, Crystal knew that it had been difficult lately, and she somewhat felt bad also in straining Elika emotionally for she could tell that she did her very best, every time to be there. Crystal loved her dearly for that. "I am surprised that no one else is around now," She teasingly said referring to the workers of course, just a little humor in trying to bring back some laughter, happiness in this place, at least Crystal was hoping. "Now, will you please tell me what has been going on, and why Atlantis, even Ryan sometimes dragged me out of here to go to the Academy?" Chuckling at the not so subtle way the guys went about it, Crystal never did argue against that either, much like she didn't try to find out what exactly Elika was working on at their house.
"I can still wait if it's needed because I can be patient unlike our other housemate..." Biting her lower lip to prevent herself from laughing, they all knew that Lily could be patient but for some things, that was very debatable...

On foot, Atlantis had made it his mission for the time being to stay blended into the mist just to avoid any prying eyes especially after what occurred that night. Atlantis wasn't quite ready to face the world, he wasn't quite ready to be subjugated to the press, and all the questions that came... He just couldn't, he was still mourning the loss of a dear friend, and while that pretty much made him put a lot of things on standby, at this point, he guessed he couldn't care less. That probably was a lie, but he still deserved to grieve right? He might have been a Jedi Master, but he was still first and foremost a human being too with emotions.
Whatever those teachings, his emotions actually made him stronger. And that was all that mattered in the end.
Exiting the mist, a few moments after Crystal actually entered the lakehouse, Atlantis was carrying take-outs, and with that, he pushed the door open after using the key he had of the lakehouse. He knew that Crystal would be here, after all it was her lunchbreak, although he had no idea who else would be here, so he brought enough food, and then some, of the Corellian and Alderaanian variety. Stopping on his tracks, seeing Crystal there standing at the threshold of Elika's studio, Atlantis smiled slightly and lifted what he was carrying to indicate he had food.
Walking forward, Atlantis stopped momentarily by Crystal and pecked her forehead before looking at Elika with a faint smile. "Hi, Elika." He said in his usual tone, truthfully he was thankful for her presence, that she had been there as a close friends, he also knew that in a way he had asked a lot on an emotional point of view. "I'll let you two do what you need to do, I'll be setting up the food." Atlantis said before glancing at Crystal thoughtfully remembering what she had said last.
"Lily not joining us, or she is held up?" He inquired thoughtfully before glancing at the food he had with him. He might have overdone it, but always better to have more than not enough, right? Only when he got the answer, whichever might that one be, did Atlantis head straight to the kitchen to grab what he needed to grab to set lunch...

Her first two attempts at designing the renovated city courthouse don't meet Elikapeka's strict personal standards, one seeming to her to be far too predictable and therefore rather dull while the other she feels veers a bit too far into the whimsical, and she is working on a third attempt that combines those elements of the first two that she wants to retain so that the project has some semblance of a personal flourish when Crystal arrives and greets her. Having been working in pastels and charcoal, quite a bit of dust from both of which have gotten all over her hands and sleeves, Elika turns to tell Crystal with a reserved smile that subtly acknowledges the emotions evident in her friend's tone of voice and posture without calling any undue attention to them that could invite dwelling on all that a more overt display of sympathy could invite, "Hey hon', and then smudges a streak of pastel dust on her nose as she rubs it and playfully adopts an expression of intense internal debate before nodding somberly as though having reached a decision of great importance, I can do better than tell you, actually. Standing up, tugging her sleeves down absently, Elika explains in a tone equal parts eager and mildly apprehensive since it is always a bit of a risk to design a space for someone without consulting them no matter how well one feels they know the person in question, It's actually finished, so I can show you instead."
Smiling her reserved smile once more as she waves when Atlantis arrives, Elika tells him, "We'll be right there, and motions for Crystal to follow as she explains, I haven't heard from Lil' yet, but she said she might stop in for lunch if she isn't too busy. As she and Crystal make their way nearer to the workout room, Elika slows her pace so that Crystal is ahead of her, and says, biting her lower lip and crinkling her nose nervously, If you absolutely hate it, I can always change the decor, so . . . Waving her hands, realizing that while Crystal probably has at least an inkling of an idea of what she has been working on, she has yet to see the final results, Elika says as they reach the closed door to the room, Anyway, close your eyes, and then opens the door to the workout room with a flourish, Okay, hon', open your eyes," and steps aside so that Crystal can take in the room.
After Crystal has a chance to see the room, Elika taking note of her reaction to gauge whether or not it seems forced in a way suggesting her friend is being less than completely open out of politeness so that she has a feel for whether or not she might want to make any adjustments, Elika takes her on a brief tour, explaining the features she has incorporated into the space as they do. Once the tour is complete, Elika asks, "So, what do you think? Is there anything you'd like me to change? Waving her hands with a nervous laugh, Elika says, Take your time, you don't have to answer now, and says, We shouldn't keep Atlantis waiting, right? Let's go see what he's brought for lunch."

Both of her eyebrows shot up when Elika declared to her that she could actually show what she had been working on, and why this place no longer seemed to be under renovation. Smiling genuinely and warmly when Elika told her that she could actually show her now, Crystal was about to say something when she heard the front door opening. Glancing at her side, she noticed that it was Atlantis who was carrying food it seemed. Closing her eyes momentarily and always feeling better knowing that he was around, even if she knew he had been grieving too; Crystal, perhaps selfishly, knew that he was one of the people that kept her grounded too, just like she was to him, she knew that much.
Not replying just yet about Lily's whereabouts, if she was joining them, especially that Elika replied to that. There was a lot of truth there, but at the same time, she knew where her childhood friend was, and she also knew with whom she was with. Focusing her attention back onto Elika when she started to speak once more about what Crystal qualified as a surprise, she smiled and shook her head slightly to at least indicate that she wouldn't hate it, but then again for the time being knowing Elika, and also knowing that also factually she had not seen it just yet, Crystal preferred to not say anything at all for the time being and did what she was told after following Elika towards the workout room in this place.
Opening her eyes once she was told to do so, Crystal looked around with awe, it showed at the way she took the entire room in. To the entire tour, she listened attentively and took in the detailed decor that Elika had incorporated, and when the tour had actually concluded, when Elika asked for Crystal's opinion, Crystal just looked at her friend with a grateful expression, and words didn't seem to come here and now, so instead, she went over to Elika and hugged her affectionately. "Shush sweetpea, I love it." Crystal sincerely said as she kept hugging Elika before releasing her and looking at her with a warm smile. "It's perfect, and thank you." She added on, she was also about to say that she didn't have to do this, but Crystal knew that it had been one of Elika's ways to deal. Chuckling softly and shaking her head slightly. "You should trust more on yourself, besides, you have captured this place, and it perfectly fits my taste."
Looking around once again before focusing back onto Elika this time, and pointing to the tip of her nose, "You have some pastel on you nose, by the way." Crystal grabbed the handkerchief that she was carrying on her inner pocket of her vest and handed it to Elika before smiling at indeed Atlantis who was setting up the food. "Now, let's go eat, and see what he is treating us with." Crystal said softly, happiness in her tone, due to this, and how touched she was by what Elika had designed for her but then she remembered that Lily was somewhere in the earlier conversation. "Also, I don't think that Lily might be coming home for lunch, just received a message from Lana before stepping here, saying that both of them were at the spaceport to greet the lawyers..." While a few things had been cleared, and some explanations had been provided about what happened four years ago, Crystal was still wasn't sure if she could be face to face with Stefanie Strange.
"Who knows though, you, or I, might hear from her in a little bit after she get them settled at the Misty Lodge..." With that said, Crystal made her way towards Atlantis to have some food, at least she was hoping that she would be able to eat.

Lakehouse — Dining Room
Busying himself with the food, not that he had to do anything much with it, since it was already cooked, and he just had to served it, Atlantis believed in a nice presentation which was why he laid everything out on serving plates, and even did the setting for three currently since it was uncertain that Lily would be coming home. If Lily wasn't home, it meant that Ryan wouldn't be home either. Unless he was mistaken, so he just put stacked up plates on the table, just in case.
Midway though, Atlantis stopped doing what he was doing, and looked up at where he could perceive Crystal's aura, and he just smiled. He smiled because her signature then and there was simply appeasing to him, and because he knew that she genuinely felt happy. Not having seen that space yet, he already knew that Elika did it right, and Crystal just loved the workout room now. Atlantis had no doubts there, after all she often, if not always captured people's tastes.
Arranging the napkins as the ladies walked in towards the dining room, Atlantis looked up having heard the last sentence of Crystal's words to Elika. He knew who his girlfriend was referring to, after all he did get a message from ATC that the Blind Justice, ship of Honoghr's lawyers had just landed. Preferring not to get into that and smiling faintly, Atlantis looked at Elika gratefully and knowingly. "I take it that she loves it?" Atlantis rhetorically said before chuckling and shaking his head knowing that the renovation there had occurred due to some dents that had been made during some of his sparring sessions with Crystal. "It is safe from future dents, right? I mean, not that I mind being thrown straight against the wall, the integrity of that place was starting to be problematic." Not that he knew that much about integrity and what not, but he guessed he was just trying for a little humor here and there, and show that at least he was moving on with life.
"So... ," Looking down at the food after pulling both chairs that would be used by Elika and Crystal, Atlantis explained. "I took the safest bet in terms of food for baseline humans, and didn't feel like going exotic, so you have Nerf, and vegetables, along with some bread, and wine. If you two need anything more, just let me know, I can do that?" Tilting his head slightly on the side and smiling faintly, Atlantis then focused his attention onto Crystal knowing that the recent arrivals of some people might have downed her mood, but he also knew that after they had talked about, perhaps this was going to be good for both Crystal, and Stefanie. "I might have bought a lot of food, maybe afterwards, I can put them in a tupperware, and you could bring those to your friend, even," Glancing this time at Elika with a knowing smile. "To your significant other? As you like of course, ladies." With that, Atlantis started to serve both Elika and Crystal with some food before getting some for him, and with that he ate slowly as if he had no care in the world, at all.

Returning Crystal's hug, pleased that her friend genuinely seems to be happy with the space that has been designed for her, Elikapeka happily tells her, "I'm so glad you like it, and then crinkles her nose with a laugh as she says with more playful than sincere doubt in her tone, And I promise to at least try to trust myself a bit more in my future endeavors. Laughing with a shake of her head when informed that she has pastel on her nose, Elika accepts the handkerchief that Crystal offers, and does her best to clean her nose, Only on my nose? That is a relief; I usually end up with it all over my clothes, on my glasses, in my hair, basically everywhere. Frowning a bit theatrically when Crystal says that Lily and Lana are at the spaceport to greet the lawyers that have arrived, Elika, who cannot quite conceal the usual flush of happiness that the mere mention of Lana brings, says, Well, maybe we will see them all later on tonight then? Or maybe not," she adds, pursing her lips with an uncertain expression as she remembers that there are some unresolved tensions and issues between Crystal and the newly arrived lawyers that might make getting everyone together less than ideal.
Nodding when, after they join Atlantis in the dining room, he asks if Crystal likes the workout area, Elika laughs when he asks about the durability of the wall, assuring him, "I am quite confident that the walls can withstand you being thrown against them, she arches an eyebrow as she adds teasingly, for whatever reasons you are being thrown against them. Taking in all that Atlantis has brought and set out, Elika smiles gratefully as she tells him with a chuckle, This looks like more than enough, so don't worry about needing to get anything else. As she is preparing a plate for herself after sitting, Elika, unconsciously brightening when Atlantis refers to Delaana as her significant other when suggesting that she could bring some of the food that is sure to be leftover to her Ceesi later, replies, Hmm, that does sound like a nice idea, I may just do that if she is free tonight."

Crystal still had a smile on her features clearly and genuinely happy on what Elika had done with the workout room. There was nothing out of place, nothing whatsoever and it definitely fit her style, plus the relaxing atmosphere it had, and the new features around the place, how could Crystal not love that? It all came down again on the fact that Elika should definitely trust herself, and not just try to do. "I seem to recall Lily telling you that there was no try." Crystal teasingly told her paired with a wink as they moved towards the living room, reassuring indeed that the pastel was only on Elika's nose, pondering about that matter on potentially seeing the lawyers tonight?
Was she truly ready for that? Sure Crystal still had some open wounds, but was she ready to hear Stefanie's explanations? Every fiber of her being said yes but at the same time Crystal didn't really want to add more things, damning or not on her plate right now.
Speaking of plate, Atlantis started to set up their lunch and she walked behind him placing her hand on his cheek and pecking the other as a thanks. "Thanks for this..." Before she pulled her head back listening to his question, she was about to say something about that but then Elika had to tease him, looking at her with a fake shocked expression, Crystal shook her head laughing softly as she removed her vest and placed it behind the seat that Atlantis had pulled out for her. "I suppose that we'll have to test that theory, and I should throw you against the wall then, shouldn't I, Headmaster Vyridian?" Laughing softly and hearing her datapad signal her that she had received a message, she fished it out of her vest and noticed that it was from Lily.
Bringing the message up, Crystal could not help but to burst out laughing and facepalming shaking her head in the process "Oh boy..." Was all she said until she showed that message to Elika, since after all this concerned the one the Architect had come to call her Ceesi.

"The one Lily has come to nick as Sweet Cheeks, her name is actually Lindsay." Crystal started to explain fondly, and with a knowing smile. It was no brainer that she did in fact love Lindsay, and she heard that story from Lily who heard it from Kassidy about what happened a while ago. "To us, she was the baby of our group for many reasons, too long to explain, but if Lily is going to start with her inquisition about, and knowing her she will, I might have to pull her out from that situation." Grinning at the thought and glancing at Elika briefly, then back at Atlantis who had suggested to bring food to them there, Crystal bit her lower lip thoughtfully and took a deep breath. "Bag some of it, Atlantis, please, I'll make sure that is taken to them." By herself or someone else, that was still up in the air, but another matter entirely really, which was why she focused onto Elika exclusively for this one. "Would you like to see them tonight? Even if you potentially have plans right now to bring some food to Lana?"
Depending on the answer, Crystal knew that she'd have to warn Elika that there was, is another Lily in that group of lawyer... Outspoken, no filter and really said things as they were as a whole too much like Lily.

Jaw-dropping was his reaction. Atlantis looked at Elika feigning shock completed with a jaw-drop. "I have put myself in that predisposition, haven't I?" He said with a chuckle before shaking his head but then his attention turned towards Crystal who suggested they put that theory to the test. "Look, ladies, but because I usually put the opposite gender on a pedestal, doesn't mean you have to gang on lil' ol' me..." Perplexedly looking at the both of them, before adding. "Does it?" Grinning soon after at the whole exchange, he really was content, even happy in the presence of the people he cared about. For one he knew they were safe, and two, they were just having fun, and that certainly was the best remedy he could wish for.
He remained standing up, as he lifted his hand in Elika's direction as she was about to prepare a plate for herself, Atlantis just ended up serving each of them putting the desired quantity they wanted. The rest, he put the cover on and smiled looking at Elika when she mentioned that it was a good idea to perhaps bring some to Delaana later this evening. "Glad I can come up with good ideas, besides being thrown against a wall." He jokingly said as he sat down and looked at the Architect more in particular. "I am happy for you two, I do not know much of Lana, but from what her boss tells me," Grinning at Crystal knowingly, Atlantis carried on soon enough. "She is kind, a hard worker, and always seems to know what to say at any given moments."
Staying his tongue soon enough as he overhears that familiar notification of Crystal's datapad, Atlantis started to dig in, because after all he was hungry, and also he could feel that nothing seemed to be out of place, and Crystal seemed to be amused more than anything anyways. Arching his eyebrow upon her reactions, Atlantis could guestimate that the text she had received was probably from Lily, and that name she mentioned, Atlantis knew it, for having spoken with Lindsay Mildhurt on holocomm a few days ago. "Lily and her inquisitions." Shuddering on the spot just for show, Atlantis knew what that entailed he went through that anyways when they have met.
Putting his cutlery down and wiping his mouth, Atlantis inclined his head at Crystal's request. "I'll handle it once we are done here, not a problem." The subject on who would bring that there, that wasn't even something he wanted to bring up, her decision, and her decision only, nonetheless the fact that she posed that question to Elika about potentially meeting them tonight, Atlantis looked at her with dubious expression until it settled to a warm expression. He didn't want to will her to do this, and say yes, but at the same time he knew that in a way if this was put off any longer, it might annoy Crystal even more. This was a situation, so to speak that she could handle, and fix now, the rest, the other things she has come to find out, Atlantis didn't know.

Arching an eyebrow with an expression more amused than anything when Crystal reminds her about Lily's stance on the concept of trying, Elikapeka then nods when Atlantis points out that he, as he often seems to do, had put himself in the position he finds himself virtually all by himself, and then pats him on the shoulder with a warm smile to indicate that, at least for now, she at least will cease teasing him no matter how well he sets himself up for it.
Though she blushes a bit, and tugs at her sleeve once or twice as though she is embarrassed by the attention when Atlantis speaks about Delaana and says that he is happy for them, it is abundantly clear from her expression that Elika, clearly quite taken with her Ceesi and pleased with how their relationship has been developing, is more happy to hear that he is happy for them than she is embarrassed by the attention. Grateful for the change in subject that Crystal's news from Lily affords, Elika laughs when her friend suggests that Lindsay might need to be saved from Lily's inevitable inquisition, and then purses her lips in thought when Crystal asks for her thoughts on the idea of meeting Lindsay and the others that have come to Umgul with her; the question not one she feels sure that she is the best to answer given that she understands that there are some unresolved tensions and issues Crystal might find herself dealing with were they all to get together. After mulling the idea over for a moment while taking a bite of food and following it with a sip of wine, Elika, having concluded that having Lily and herself nearby in case Crystal needs any emotional support should the lingering tensions and issues come to a head could be a good idea, looking and sounding uncertain to make it clear that she is not set on the idea as much as simply suggesting it, says, "Well, I could always see if my Ceesi wants to come over here, so we could just have everyone else over too, make an event of it?"

"But you make it so easy, Atlantis." Crystal quipped teasingly looking at her boyfriend with a genuinely happy expression. Crystal knew that Atlantis could be very respectful when it came to the women in his life, and she also knew that he often purposely put himself in that situation, and it never got old at all. Grinning knowingly as she held onto her glass of wine, Crystal was pensive for a moment. She just listened to what Atlantis was saying about Elika's and Lana's relationship. No brainer, indeed, they were all happy for the both of them, and that was about it. Crystal usually never asked for details, on how everything was going in a relationship but she was also open whenever someone needed to talk about it. Better herself than Lily most of the time. In this case, Crystal supposed that Lindsay would definitely need a way out before Lily got into any inquisitions.
Which reminded her... Pushing the reply button of her datapad to send a text message to Lily, already warning her beforehand with an amused smile on the corner of her lips.
Pocketing her datapad and leaning against her seat after taking a sip of her wine, Crystal forked some of her food while listening to what Elika had to say about potentially having the lawyers and Lana here this evening. Crystal could detect the uncertainty in Elika's voice. Putting her fork down and wiping her mouth, she leaned back once again against her seat and drummed her fingertips on the table. "Make an event..." Crystal repeated softly before taking a deep breath. While she knew that she had to get this done, to have that talk with Stefanie, and also catch up with the others, was she even certain that she could face her ex then and there? This situation was definitely different from that holocomm she had with Stef a few days ago. Then she looked at Atlantis, he seemed to be all for it, something about the way he looked there, peaceful, and just calm...
"Then it is settled, tonight it is then." Crystal finally said assuredly even if her heart was founding and she had that typical feeling in her gut that she was anxious, stressed about it. However to counter that here and now, Crystal decided to go on another matter entirely, the one that she had quickly thought about earlier. "I have to warn the both of you," Crystal started to say with no apprehension, actually, but with a knowing smile. "Everyone here knows Lily," Laughing softly at that statement, Crystal wouldn't be surprised at all if her childhood friend was going into a sneezing fit since she had been mentioned "In that group of lawyers, one of them is exactly like our housemate." Crystal explained the reason of her laughter as she looked at Elika with an amused grin. "Kassidy and Lily together, it's bound to get crazy. And I can also officially say too, that my little brother definitely has a type." Chuckling at the thought when she found out that Ryan did have something with Kase back in Honoghr, Crystal shook her head in amusement. "It so happens that Ryan was with Kase before being with Lily.
Picking up her cutlery once more, Crystal focused her attention onto Elika with a faint smile, "Will you be okay with having another lawyer just like Lily here in our home?"

Putting that matter to rest about his knack of getting in trouble with women, Atlantis ate silently his food, even slowly as he listened to the interaction between the women he was with. He had no idea what to truly expect, and at the same time, he preferred to not assume at all. However he still had that encouraging look in both Elika and Crystal's direction to potentially make the meet happen sooner rather than later. It would alleviate the tension, would it not? At least one of those tensions.
Atlantis noticed that Crystal was looking at him, and he just returned that look he had, the calm peaceful one, of not wanting to interfere to begin with in this decision that will be taken or not. Still Atlantis returned Crystal's gaze with a knowing smile somewhat in encouragement too, as she decided with a little push from Elika that tonight was definitely going to happen.
Snorting a laugh when he found out that Ryan had dated someone identical to Lily to begin with, Atlantis rubbed his nose pursing his lips to stop himself from laughing. He already knew more or less about Kassidy, much like Lindsay, and also Stefanie, but now apparently Kassidy was like Lily, and Ryan dated the both of them. "Do you think that your brother might even come around here tonight then, especially if he knows that one of his exes is here...?" Atlantis playfully asked as he took a sip of his wine. He did look at Elika with an amused expression and looked at Crystal knowingly.
"No wonder a trend has formed, I am guessing that held too back in the days for you?" He started to say although there wasn't any content there to begin with, which was why he explained soon enough. "You always played tie breaker, haven't you? I am guessing that is why some people have started to call you 'mom'..." Whether he got a glare or not right now, even a punch from his girlfriend, he actually wouldn't be shocked, or even surprised about that.

Elikapeka arches an eyebrow with a mostly playful worried expression when Crystal warns her and Atlantis about the prospect of having Lily and Kassidy, who is apparently as outspoken as Lily herself, together in one place, teasingly muttering, "Shiraya help us all," to let Crystal know that she is as comfortable with the idea of having someone like Lily as well as Lily herself under the same roof as anyone would be, before laughing with a shake of her head as she mentally prepares herself for the craziness Crystal suggests could very well lay in store for them all.
As she finishes eating, her mind naturally turning to matter she knows are ultimately rather trivial things such as what she should wear and whether or not she needs to do any housecleaning in preparation for the gathering later on, Elika does her best not to allow her social anxiety get too out of hand before the evening even begins, succeeding by and large by focusing primarily on the fact that she will be able to spend time with Delaana.
While she is taking her dishes, and any others that Atlantis and Crystal are finished with, to the sink to wash them, Elika asks Atlantis, "Should we see if Franz wants to come, maybe with Ayodele? Not having seen much of Franz since the tragic events in the city, Elika is more than a little concerned for him as he was close with Master Roma, and suspects that being around his friends could be good for him. Though she understands even as she asks that she knows the answer given the personality in question, Elika adds, And what about Mace, do you think she might want to come too?"

Laughing softly as Elika's muttered words, Crystal smiled and nodded once before saying. "Yeah, include me to that prayer of yours, sweetpea. Please." Crystal did have fond memories of them being together, when she was not dragged into their shenanigans, but sometimes, it just could not be helped, and like Atlantis had just mentioned; she did indeed have that tendency to be the tie breaker, although at the 'mom' word, she could not help but to look at him with a narrowed gaze paired with straight lips. "Yes, I suppose so," Crystal finally admitted with a smile as she thought about that other situation if Ryan was going to be around tonight. "Ryan might or might not, although I actually wouldn't be surprised if he were, from what I heard, he and Kase had a clean amicable break."
That was the only thing she knew, and honestly that was the sole thing she wanted to know, while Crystal has gotten over Lily dating one of her brothers, everything about their relationship, she preferred not knowing.
Somewhat more at peace with the decision she had just taken, Crystal just ate peacefully and finished what was in her plate, even the glass of wine before helping out Elika, and even Atlantis to carry the dishes to the kitchen even if one of them argued against, at least she knew that Atlantis would, but she already tasked him to put the surplus of food in tupperwares and he had brought the food. So it was fair. As Elika spoke to Atlantis, Crystal looked at her boyfriend dubiously while she dried what was washed and put them back into place. Come to think of it, indeed, it has been a while since she had seen Franz, he seemed to not be at the Academy when she was, same for Mace as a matter of fact.
Then there was Andros also. "If I see Andros later, I will invite him too," Crystal smiled faintly before nudging Elika gently. "Unless you want to invite him yourself, you both are close after all, and I do believe the invite coming from you would even make him happier." That was a fact, she had noticed how much Andros seemed to be protective with Elika, they had a bond after all.

Atlantis had that innocent expression when Crystal started to look at him with what seemed like a glare until he let out a sigh of relief as he chuckled and shook his head playfully. "By your own admission a while ago, you do what you gotta do, right?" Atlantis told her encouragingly. He kept eating peacefully and was actually glad that Crystal had decided to make that event happen this evening. For so many reasons, and maybe before those were his own selfish reasons, but he knew that she had to clear the air on that episode of her life if he ever wanted to potentially take the next step with her.
But then there was that other situation...
Something he didn't even want to hash right now, which was why he pushed that in the corner of his mind and continued eating until he was done. Taking his dirty dishes in the kitchen, he was even about to pick up Crystal's but no, Atlantis made sure to bring everything there in the sink and the rest he had to bag it, but before even doing so, he looked at Elika who had suggested they should invite Franz, even Ayodele, but also Mace.
"That is a good idea, actually, for Franz, and Ayodele." Atlantis said with a knowing smile before thinking about Mace actually. "Sure for Mace, I don't see why not even if that remains in the realm of uncertainty if she does come indeed, or not." He playfully said before adopting a more serious expression and nodding. "I am sure that she, also, does need a break, so yeah, I'll hail her, and see if she is able." Atlantis had heard some rumors about what was happening amongst the Guardians, apparently it had been chaotic so to speak. Allegedly it was due to the Major, Forcias Kes, being with the Lieutenant.
"Lucy isn't back yet, right?" Atlantis asked thoughtfully as he started to put some ratio of food into individual containers for it to be taken by whomever to Lily. Somehow he felt like things kept piling up more and more, and he still had to make a big decision about that particular someone... Then there was that other person who had been arrested on a misdemeanor, well more for putting someone in the ICU but apparently that Zabrak was better...

Laughing with a nod of her head when Crystal asks to be included in her prayers to Shiraya, Elikapeka tells her, "Will do, hon', and then after frowning in thought as she considers her friend's suggestion that she reach out personally to Franz in light of the fact that she and Andros have become close, says, I'll do the inviting, chuckling as she jokes, Who knows, maybe I will even find a way to convince him to overcome his natural inclination to avoid parties," all too aware of just how much convincing it might actually take.
Smiling when Atlantis says that he will reach out to Mace, Elika says, "It would be nice to see everyone again, if we can get them all to come. Shaking her head when asked about whether or not her lieutenant has returned from her vacation, Elika crinkles her nose after a moment and admits, At least not that I'm aware of anyway," with an apologetic shrug of her shoulders.
Once the kitchen has been restored to order, Elika excuses herself to send holonet messages to Andros and to her Ceesi, after which she plans to tidy the house a bit even though she and her housemates tend to keep at least the common areas of their shared home neat and presentable, and then get herself ready for the evening. Her invitation to Delaana is playful and flirtatious, while her invitation to Andros is a bit more serious in tone as Elika does her best to persuade her friend to come even though she knows it will be his instinct not to do so.
After she has done a bit of tidying and then spends too much time fussing over what to wear, ultimately deciding on a heather colored sweater dress with a fold-over turtleneck and raglan sleeves that she accessorizes with a chunky infinity scarf, Elika makes her way out to the garden by the pool with a small glass of wine to try and calm her nerves; her social anxiety as usual making any gathering, no matter how anticipated, somewhat nerve wracking for her.

Mouthing a 'thank you' when Elika informed her that she'd include her in that prayer, Crystal smiled warmly. The more she listened to her friend, and even her boyfriend, more and more her resolve strengthened to actually bring the food to Lily's office floor. She didn't know what to expect, and quite frankly she didn't know how she would react, she figured that she'd know then and there once she got to her destination. Like Atlantis mentioned earlier, she had to do what she had to do, no point in delaying the whole process Crystal figured.
Grinning when Elika said she'd do the invitation herself when it came to Andros, Crystal chuckled softly and playfully said. "You also do have a wildcard, if it does come to that." Taking a cloth to dry up what had been recently washed to put those back into their rightful place, Crystal finished her line of thought. "Get Lily to do the convincing, she does have that tendency to often, if not always get what she wants." Winking playfully, although that statement was all in jest, or maybe not, there was always that plan B. But like everyone here knew anyways, Andros was Andros, and he didn't like big crowds, or parties. "I am sure you'll find a way, sweetpea."
Letting both Atlantis and Elika talk about Lucy being back or no, Crystal went to grab a bag to put the tupperwares Atlantis had prepared inside of it. "It would indeed be nice to see everyone again, seems like it has been while since we have been altogether." Crystal thoughtfully said mainly to herself, and honestly, it really hadn't been that long but it would be nice again to just have something she'd qualify as normal.
Finishing here in the kitchen and looking at Atlantis as she picked up the bag from the kitchen island, Crystal took a deep breath and knew that she'd want to take the long road instead of having Atlantis pilot her to the government building. "I'd ask you to come with me, but I know you have things to do, so, I'll see you tonight." There was a finality in her tone, and with that she pecked his lips before whispering "I love you." Pulling back and carrying what she needed to carry, Crystal called out in Elika's direction.
"See you later sweetie! And thanks again for my surprise!" With that Crystal stepped out of the lakehouse and headed on foot to the government building...

Elikapeka was certainly right about that to have everyone altogether again, that would be nice indeed. Atlantis was hoping that it could be achievable, and he would make it his today's mission to accomplish it. Putting a thumbs up and smiling to concur with her statement, Atlantis pondered, but not for too long about Lucy, he guessed she was happy, if everything was going on smoothly with her with the Kiffar ace pilot. "Well, too bad she isn't back yet, I heard Lily was going to make it mission to make her relax and make her join you ladies for fun and drinks." Grinning at the memory and seeing how the Lieutenant usually acted around her principle, Atlantis wondered if that would work indeed. But back to the matter at hand.
"I'll see what I can do about getting Mace to join us, and I will also check if Franz is available, Ayodele too." Atlantis nodded as he finished up with what he had been doing until his attention was soon diverted to Crystal. Opening his mouth first to contest what she said, but he also knew that it was no use, and she was right, he did have things to do but maybe he was just trying to put that off for a while. However currently Atlantis was more concerned about Crystal and knew that the lawyers were with Lily. "Comm me, if you need me..." He murmured after he had pecked her lips in return, before mouthing that he loved her too.
Taking a deep breath and looking up briefly to recenter himself, Atlantis closed his eyes as he organized his thoughts, he figured the first place he'd start was to send a message to Mace, and even to Franz who both were probably at the Academy, but then he really wasn't that confident about that, so instead of trying to search aimlessly, he took out his datapad and wrote a message to them both.
Sending the message and soon pocketing the datapad, and scanning the area, Atlantis briefly looked around and then stepped out of the kitchen. "Elika, I am out too! If you need anything for this evening, please don't hesitate to send me a message." He told her sincerely as he finally stepped out of the residence and made his way on foot to the Academy...

Laughing with a nod, Elikapeka tells Crystal, "I'll be sure to keep my secret weapon in mind, hon, when her friend reminds her that Lily can be rather persuasive when she puts her mind to it, and then smiles as she crinkles her nose and adds jokingly, Hopefully it won't come to that though."
"Will do, Elika tells Atlantis with a wave as he too departs, See you later!" Not long after Atlantis has left, Elika receives Delaana's message, smiling when she learns that Delaana will indeed be joining everyone for the somewhat impromptu gathering. Elika sends a quick, playfully flirtatious reply to Delaana, managing not to worry over the message more than she typically does for once:
You probably shouldn't have told me you cannot say no to me, my Ceesi, who knows what I might ask for now that I know you cannot say no?  Can't wait to see you!
Elika, having already cleaned the lakehouse more than necessary and fussed over her outfit more than the occasion warrants, is momentarily at a loss for how to occupy herself until everyone begins to arrive, but eventually settles in at her drafting table to work more on the courthouse project that she had been working on earlier, gradually losing sense of the passing of time as she becomes more and more absorbed in the work.

Lakehouse - That same evening
The afternoon, after she had gotten the invitation from Elika and Crystal that evening, had gone by quickly, and truthfully she was looking forward to being here this evening. Delaana had gone ahead before her boss, and even the lawyers, not that she actually minded since apparently even the lawyers were going to be here tonight. It will be a good moment to catch up with her brother's significant other. Quite aware though that Lana didn't usually talked about her family, not offering information about them by default unless asked, she was certain that potentially tonight her brother might be a topic of conversation.
Lana guessed she'd have to wait and see...
Finally arriving at the lakehouse and paying the fare, Lana walked towards the secured gate and buzzed. She had already sent a comm to her Shakal that she was on her way, and she had picked up a few things before getting here, a bottle of wine and some ingredients that Crystal asked her to get if possible. And so she did.
After finally being admitted inside the property, Lana walked straight to the front door and knocked gently hoping that in fact she wasn't too early...

Andros did get the message from Elika earlier that day, and had replied to her that his coming over that evening would be under consideration, even if like she had guessed, his first inclination had been to deny the invitation. But what tipped the scale, slightly, in favor was when he had received a message from Horsea about P.M.S.'s access to his floor as a whole, after she had collected their DNA samples. That, Andros replied to delay those clearances, he'd see them this evening perhaps.
Here was Andros at the lakehouse, he pretty much ghosted everyone in the government building, because that was just him, and he had arrived just after Delaana had been granted access to the property, so he just passed the gate without too much of a hassle, and he had not warned Elika actually that he would be here tonight. But here he was in the flesh.
Dressed in black, saved for his long blue duster, Andros walked up to the front door and stood next to Lana who had just knocked, he inclined his head and briefly smirked before pointing to what she was carrying and gesturing for that grocery bag to be handed to him if she wished. "Good evening to you." Andros finally said in a low tone before closing his eyes slightly and waiting patiently wondering if others would already be there, he guessed he could find out here and now, but what was the point anyways...
Not really inclined on making small talks, this time perhaps he felt like it to past the little moment they had together. "I was told that you always had a good read on people," Andros would know, he did after all made it so that she was recruited within the government to work so to speak for Crystal and from there on out make the connection, and there they were now with everything that came with it. "You have already met them, anything I should be weary about?" Crossing his arms in reflex, Andros took a deep soothing breath and waited patiently for the reply.
