So, I've noticed that the RP here is great...but kinda slow compared to the "olden" days. I've been taking it upon myself to try and garner some more RPer's so that we can have a consistent flow of RP going on. I'm sure some of you have noticed that there are ENTIRE systems on our site that doesn't get posted in regularly and some are kinda...well...dead. I've made a thread on Reddit, and if we could get some people to post on it and up vote it we might be able to grab a few Play-by-post people on our site that enjoy SW and could help us grow into a larger more enveloped site. Any other ideas to get more traffic and rper's can happily be shared here! |

I've been a busy bee, posting some backlinks to the home page about some places, trying to get our name a bit out there. If anyone wants to help, please feel free to PM me as the more doing this the more effective it can be!

At one point in time we were listed on a few RP directory sites. Not sure what happened to that. Well done, taking the time to set up a Reddit.

Things are slow these days, and just because everyone posts about as fast as molasses in January. No this has been pretty consistent since the start of 2.0 and it isn't looking to be much better. The problem being a lack of people. There have always been planets not being used but this is on a different level.
Now I know the Whills had put our name out there on a vote this website thing. There is the Twitter account (which doesn't get much action) and a Facebook page. Now I feel Facebook is our great underutilized thing. Now they have a different thing than the old one, which I feel we should make. Hell most of us learned of the site through Facebook so we need to get into that subculture of rpers on Facebook. One of them picture sharing pages would do it

Well it isn't a JedivSith reddit, just answering reddit questions and putting the site out there on the PBP reddit thing, but thank you none the less.
I agree with the lack of Twitter and Facebook activity. Neither of these should honestly be ignored they have MASSIVE reach, and with the hashtag keyword abilities you can get hits from people ACTUALLY searching for that keyword (try #sith on FB and see what pops up, or #StarWars)
I think to get us out there more on FB we could have a few people do some quality RP to post up to the FB with some # included in the end as sort of like a reference thing that would work more like our keyword tags and such. That way people can see what the RP is like here, how it is done, where to go to join. And if they overall are super interested they will join up. A lot of the issues with the current state of activity seems to be from a lot of alts (not a bad thing at all) but not a lot of NEW coming Rper's.
