Sometimes darkness can be personified. It can be made flesh, manifesting in the very cells of those that would call themselves Beings. Here stood one such. An Arkanian. Well, half Arkanian. At 6'7" tall, he was around what passed for average height in the annals of Dark Siders in this Galaxy for some stupid reason that I won't get into right now. What made him intimidating to most was not his height, or his weight, but in how he carried himself. How he, sometimes literally, executed plans. Or people. How he had, at times, maybe let his anger get the better of him and destroyed entire cities, or planets.....But who's counting right? He stood just inside the forest canopy, looking out over the field in front of him, shrouded in the same darkness that seemed so menacing to beings of light, yet entirely too comforting to people like him. His Ice blue eyes were at this time black. As black as the night sky, or a shadow within a shadow. At his hips hung his twin black bladed sabers, his black long coat with the purple Arkanian Shadow Dragons on the lapels flapping in the light breeze. He was waiting for something. And he knew it wouldn't be too long now.

All the best stories seem to start out with one simple line; No Shit there I was, and this story would definitely fit that description. I found my self standing in the middle of an open field, grass coming halfway up my boots, a slight dew on it but nothing substantial to hinder any movement that I might make during my travels. I recognized what was going on, this was one of those duels that I seemed to always get pulled into. My technical prowess with the blade and the force thrown into action against other like minded individuals in the area, only to later return to what I was doing as if nothing happened. Interestingly I only remembered these battles when I was actually in them, but that delves into to many theoretical sciences for a simple healer like me to truly understand so I digress.
<<You sound crazy talking to yourself like that. Someone might think you have multiple personality disorder or something. All this narration to an audience that doesn't exist... shouldn't that Healer in you have red flags popping up? I am totally getting the "crazy" vibe from you.>>
Ahh, yeah I forgot to mention that, the annoying one is the Hermit, we sorta got joined together in the force after I died the first time, and he has been a pain in my A...
<<HEY! Children might read this, watch your language!>>
Dunta seemed deep in thought as his personalities bickered about everything from what they were actually doing there, to the best bar on Selonia. All of this passed without anyone on the outside seeing or knowing it except for Dunta's facial expressions changing when the Hermit said something increasingly vulgar about Dunta's mom. Instead of standing, Dunta had taken a seat, his green robes of the Corellian Jedi Order fanning out underneath him, but revealing the slight amount of light armor covering his chest and legs. The armor gleamed silver, but was there to protect against stray blaster bolts that may come his way during the travels. The old man had his hood up, covering his features, graying hair, and ever growing stubble on his chin. On his waist hung a single lightsaber, simple in its design but deadly in the hands of the healer. Dunta let his presence extend out, radiating from his central point to about 10 meters, taking in the battle field and preparing for what is to come.

Well now, this was going to be very interesting....
Adieumus exited the forest, and in front of him at a little distance stood Jedi Master Dunta Coral, and Dace Concordia, AKA, Lord Iniquitous, two men whom Adieumus knew very well. The Arkanian's icy blue eyes flashed between them as he approached, flitting back and forth...watching for any kind of motion from either. Matango was making no effort to hide himself. Indeed, in a field this wide-open, it would be extremely difficult to do, standing 6'2" in ankle deep grass.. But, being out in the open like this? It was kind of thrilling, if he were to be brutally honest.
He had the hood of his black vest pulled up, throwing a shadow across his face and hiding the sneer that was adorning his countenance. He paused for but a moment, squeezing his fists and feeling the soft-sided phrik gauntlets tighten, and strain against the bracers that protected his forearms. Taking a deep breath, he continued forward, his black Air Force Ones silently carrying him toward a central point between the two men. He knew what was to come. He had felt it. It was the reason for the single black-hilted lightsaber fastened at his hip.
There was much history between these three men...at least in another life. This wasn't, however, that life. This was something else entirely. None of them were the same people that they had been. So very much had transpired, and changed them all...some for the good, others not so much. At this point, Adieumus wasn't quite sure as to which category he fit at the present moment....but the other two men would find out soon enough.

He idly wondered how Adi saw him, considering he was still just inside the forest shadows on the other side of the clearing, quietly watching Dunta, but no matter. Some people just never read an entire post.. He noted Dunta just standing there, the old Jedi Grand Master probably lost in some kind of meditation...It was then Adi walked out of the forest and made his way towards Dunta. Mentally shrugging, Iniquitous stepped out of the forest and walked across the expanse, making his way to the other 2 men. There would be a fight. You couldn't get these three ego's in one place and not expect a battle. Dunta, Grand Master. Iniquitous, who fancied himself THE Dark Lord, and Adi....Who on any given day was either Iron Man, or what looked like a jogging enthusiast/parkour wanna be....But who was a vicious warrior in his own right. As he gazed at his Nephew he noted something was slightly....Off. He was curious to find out if Adi would be fighting Dark Side, something he had not seen up close in a very very long time, or if he would do his usual skirting of the line.....Only time would tell.
Wasting zero time with anything resembling Niceties, Iniquitous opened himself up to the Force in a violent fashion, channeling the torrent of the Dark Side through his body and out his hands. His arms snapped up, palms open, and he blasted the area where the two men stood with a rather irritating Force Push of some magnitude. Only way to get shit started was to try and knock your opponents on their asses..

So they players had all arrived and in true fashion, Inky wasted no time for fun talk. It was almost admirable that he is so focused on getting things rolling, that is, if he wasn't trying to kill me. I focused on his attack, and realized that the most dangerous portion of it would be not the force attack itself, but the third opponents body if hit. With Adi's position between myself and the force attack I move to stay low, kicking out my legs and performing a backwards shoulder roll. Asisting myself with a slight push in the force I move laterally away from the direction Adi was approaching. Finishing my roll I come to my feet, my hilt in my hand and my body open to both opponents allowing me to survey the field before heading into the fray.
