OOC: Galaxy's End Casino in Orbit of Coruscant
Braenden watched as Warren knelt down to adjust his boot buckles fairly randomly, or so he thought so for a few seconds until he to felt the approaching presence from the front of the ship. For a few moments he wondered who it could be, after all he had given strict orders to Jessie to stay at the hotel, and Darren wouldn't come out here either. Unless he was the one being ambushed this time, not that it made much sense given he was freely handing the machine over anyway and Caoimhe gave no reason to suggest there would be a trap. Before he could continue his line of thought though, the woman was almost upon him, her lightsaber cutting through the air as she brought it down upon him. But it was suddenly stopped short mid air as Warren stood up and blocked the blade with what looked like... a throwing knife! He then turned his attention to the girl as Warren spoke her name. Amber Caird, daughter of Zeus Caird, who himself was the former patriarch of the Caird family and loyal to Sam Morviael. But judging from the lightsaber she held, it appeared she was now the matriarch of the Caird family. Braenden took the brief moment during which he was ignored to reach out with the force and grab hold of where he sensed the medal was hanging around Zion's neck and pulled it up and out through the collar of Zion's shirt, the medal hanging in mid air. Braenden smirked as he studied the medal hanging in mid air, the final thing that confirmed his suspicion of Zion's identity. He then let the necklace fall down on his chest =Braenden Morviael= I thought it was you... you really don't do disguises well, do you?

Amber suddenly felt her lightsaber stop in mid air as it came into contact with Zion's throwing knife, she turned her gaze to meet Zion's as he lowered his down the length of her saber. She almost fell forward as Zion's grip faltered, before he shifted her blade over his head and pushed it out to the side. She shifted her grip and held the hilt in her right hand, the blade still active. She nodded in confirmation as he questioned if it was really her, before lowering her gaze as he asked about her family She was glad he still remembered her, but then he had always treated her like she was one of his sisters. It was that family bond that had kept them together and strong all those years. She just wished he'd been around to help comfort and strengthen her resolve all those years ago on the night the Cinn Ion had killed both of her parents and she had been intrusted with her father's lightsaber. But Zion had his own problems to deal with at the time, after all he had lost both his parents and all of his mentors in his quest for freedom and ensuring the safety of those he could save. After all, she owed her freedom and life to Zion, for if he hadn't been picking the Cinn Ion off, she'd never have been able to escape =Amber Caird= They are all dead... Amber then met Zion's gaze again just as she noticed Braenden lifting his hand and the sudden movement of something underneath Zion's shirt. She quickly pointed towards his neck as the medal began to rise up out of the collar =Amber Caird= Watch out! She quickly gripped the hilt with both hands as she brought the tip of the blade over Zion and pointing towards Braenden, her feet evenly spaced so she would have a good solid stance, while she stared the man down, ready to strike if need be

Zion bowed his head in respect for Amber's loss, another casualty incurred by his defiance of the Cinn Ion on Alderaan. He owed her a debt of gratitude for all the years she had worked in servitude and how had he repaid her? years of isolation and the death of her family. He was about to apologize to her for it all, when she suddenly yelled to watch out and he felt the medal under his shirt lifting up and out of his collar. He quickly spun towards Braenden, bringing his arm in front of his body and angling the throwing knife so the tip was pointing at Braenden, ready to fight. He really hoped it would not come to that, especially considering he had no clue how many others there were and he was minimally armed and armoured for a fight of prolonged length. For now there were questions to ask and answers he needed =Zion Morviael= How did you know that was with me? Are you here to try kill me?

Braenden took a step back as both Amber and Zion turned on him with weapons pointed and ready to strike. He had been right, which was something of a relief, given now another piece of his puzzle had fallen into his hands and just needed proper positioning. but first he needed to not get himself killed and gain his descendant's trust if he wanted to succeed =Braenden Morviael= I'm not here to kill you, In fact I am honour bound by that medal to let you live. And whilst other Patriarch's and Matriarch's of families would happily hand their descendants over, I would not do that. Truth be told I need you alive and fighting, can't ask much of you if you're dead, much like you won't be able to get the machine if you kill me now. As it stands you need my help just as much as I need yours, so why don't we just relax a little? He dare not think what Brithomar would do to Shayla if he were to die like this, but then it wouldn't be too much of a far stretch to think he would either incur horrible pain upon her, or turn her into another one of his pawns to send against Zion. Hopefully he would be able to free her though, but first he needed to gain Zion's co-operation in the matter

Amber held her ground and kept her saber pointed at Braenden, even as he jumped back a little and answered Zion's questions, confirming that he was the head of the Morviael Family, a fact which her father had informed of when she was growing up. She turned her head a little and looked to Zion for guidance as to what to do He had always been the more... strategic thinking one and this was his mission. She merely dropped in to make sure he was safe, not that she thought they were safe, despite Braenden's claim he was not here to kill Zion. That said, he could be the bait and someone else could be waiting to kill him =Amber Caird= What's the plan?

Although it was true that in most cases his medal granted him a certain amount of immunity against most Cinn Ion, there was still many of them that chose to disregard the vow they had made to those who could win the medal. But it was the next thing that really took Zion aback, which was the fact Braenden was the head of the Morviael family, a fact which answered his questions as to why Braenden's presence felt different. But at the same time, it also meant that the head of his family was sided with the very people who hated him and wanted him dead. Braenden then pointed out they needed each others help as much as the other, himself to get the machine for Tiggy's recover, and Braenden for reason's he was sure to reveal very soon. He lowered his throwing knife as Amber turned to him and asked what the plan was, which although he didn't have much of one, it was better then nothing =Zion Morviael= For now we have no choice but to stand down, He has the only access to an item I need to help someone... He then turned his full attention back to Braenden, yet another set back had presented itself, but the quicker he found out what Braenden wanted, the sooner he could be on his way with the machine. But what exactly could Braenden want from him, especially if it involved him being alive and fighting against the Cinn Ion, perhaps there was something Braenden was not telling him yet =Zion Morviael= Just so you know, there is a Farghul who's life hangs in the balance at this moment. So tell me, what exactly is it that I can do for you? what could possibly require me to do, that you can't do yourself, hey?

Braenden nodded with gratitude as Zion agreed to hear him out, even if it was under forced terms and a less then ideal situation. Given the stakes on the line, both the Farghul's health and his own safety, he didn't want to waste time giving too much detail or getting a great deal of agreement or get into an argument over why he needed Zion's help =Braenden Morviael= For years I have been forced to sit by and do nothing but watch as you have become the man you are today on your own, something I respect you greatly for. I could do nothing as you were hunted and killed as traitors, a fact which grieves me deeply. Had I the chance, I would have come to your aid and fought alongside you, something I may yet accomplish, for you see Zion, war is coming, a war neither of us can stop. But we can help finish it, but I need your help to do that. While I have loyal men amongst the ranks of the Cinn Ion ready to move, I can't do anything until one vital piece is removed from Brithomar's control, which only you can do. Deep in Brithomar's dungeons, is a girl whom is related to both of us. She is my last daughter, until she is out of his control, I cannot risk moving against him... perhaps I lack the courage you would have if it had been your sisters, but that is why I need you. You can free her and then I can strike Brithomar down and we can end this madness. I will do my best to ensure you can get into the dungeons. I will give you what ever you want as reward, I will even give up my life, if it means she may live free and without fear. I've made a lot of mistakes, many of which I will pay for one day, but this one is a wrong I intend to make right. No matter what you decide to do, I have just one request, do not tell Caoimhe anything I have told you today... She knows nothing of Shayla's current imprisonment, a fact I have kept from her since the day Shayla was taken from us not long after her birth... Braenden then pushed a button on his control pad for the YT-1930, which caused a cargo elevator to lower behind him, which had a hover dolly with the machine loaded onto it already. He then stepped aside since there was nothing else to say on the matter of needing Zion's help =Braenden Morviael= Now take what you came for and be gone, I wish you great luck Zion and hope that the Farghul recovers. Amber, you should go with him, as there will soon be nothing left here for you and Zion will need help, no matter what he chooses to do.

Amber lowered her lightsaber as Zion said they had no choice but to stand down, but it didn't stop her from keeping it activated and ready to use if anyone should try ambush them. She stood by as Braenden explained that war was coming and that he needed Zion's help to free his daughter before he could make a move on Brithomar Although for many it would seem like a self centered motive, she knew all to well how rare it was for a Cinn Dao to have children, each one of them was precious and to be treasured. So she could sympathize with what it must have been like to lose a child and have someone use their safety against you. But with that said she still did not trust him, after all he could be trying to lead them into a trap She then deactivated her lightsaber and placed it back on her belt as the elevator lowered with a machine on it, before she turned to Zion as Braenden advised her to go with him =Amber Caird= Although I hate to take his advice, I will follow where ever you go Zion. I'm not going to run away this time.

Zion felt a great upwelling of mixed emotions as he listened to Braenden first compliment him on the man he had become, before lamenting how he regretted not having been able to help him in the past, before pointing out that war was coming, a fact that he had known for years. He had seen and experienced first hand, the many skirmishes the Cinn Ion had made on the Cinn Dao, so he knew that sooner or later the Cinn Ion would be ready to begin an all out war. If it was a war the Cinn Ion wanted, then it was a war the Cinn Ion would get, and he would be there fighting against them to make sure the Cinn Ion lost. Braenden then went on to explain that someone named Brithomar, from the sounds of it he was some sort of leader of the Cinn Ion where Braenden was based, was holding a relative of his and Braenden's captive, to use as a pawn to ensure that Braenden co-operated and did as he was told. A sentiment which he could sympathize with, after all if it had been Hikari and Akari in Shayla's place, he would have done the very same thing that Braenden had done in complying with Brithomar's orders. He sighed heavily as he knew he was about to agree to another rescue operation that would put his life in danger, but if it meant saving one of his family members and ensuring an end to this forsaken war that the Cinn Ion wanted to wage, then he had no choice but to agree. Besides as much as he wanted to hate Braenden, he was just like Zion in wanting to make sure his family was safe. He just hoped he was getting himself lead into a trap =Zion Morviael= When war comes, and we know it will, then I shall help you free Shayla so that we can end this and our debt will be settled. But make no mistake, should you betray me, then there will be no where that you can run to or hide that I won't find you and make you pay... He then turned to Amber as she stated that she would follow him, despite all the losses he and his family had inflicted upon her because of his actions. He nodded in gratitude =Zion Morviael= Well I guess you've made up your mind and there is nothing else to it. I guess we best be off then... He smiled at her, before moving bast Braenden and grabbing the hover dolly which he pushed over to the elevator, taking it down to the floor level and pushing it two bays across to where his new ship sat. He pulled out his datapad and pushed a couple commands before the freight elevator of the ship lowered. Zion pushed the dolly onto it and waited for Amber to get on as well before raising the elevator up into the cargo hold of the Barloz. He moved the dolly off the elevator and powered it down before making sure it was secured to the cargo bays floor =Zion Morviael= Rightio, time to leave Zion then lead the way through to the front of the ship and into the cockpit, at which point he got into the pilot's seat and powered all the systems up, doing several system checks. Although he had left his suitcase behind, he would call back later and get them to send his case to Honoghr so that the room was free for use again. He then activated the repulsor lifts as he retracted the landing gear, before easing the ship out of the hangar bay and then slowly raising it up through the corridor and up through the shield. The ship sat there suspended for a moment above the Herdships hangar bay ring, as Zion input the hyperspace co-ordinates for Honoghr, before slowly powering up the ships engines, causing them to pass over the surface of the ship and away from Coruscant. When they were a safe enough distance away and the hyperdrive was warmed up, the ship disappeared in a flash of light as it made it's way through hyperspace back to Honoghr

OOC: Galaxy's End Casino in Orbit of CoruscantFeralas was standing on the bridge of the Galaxy's End Casino, over seeing the final system checks the crew made as they prepared to announce their departure from Coruscant, when from out of hyperspace, 6 Munificent-class star frigate's appeared and began to take up formation around the herdship, before deploying waves of Vulture droids and firing volleys of laser cannon fire at the ship. The first couple volleys hit their targets before the shields came online and the 20 laser cannons began returning fire. Feralas then ordered a general evacuation of all staff and guests via what ever means possible. Within minutes escape pods were being jettisoned towards planetside, whilst various ships were taking off from the hangar ring. Feralas was thankful that the attacking fleet ignored the escaping ships, concentrating on the herdship

Braenden nodded in appreciation and deep respect when Zion agreed to help free Shayla before he took the machine and left. He walked to the edge of the hangar bay and watched as Zion and Amber left in the Barloz-class heavy freighter, destined for Honoghr, to save someone else's life. Braenden suddenly grabbed a hold of the wall as he felt the impact of laser fire, before a general evacuation order was sounded. He grabbed out his comm link and radioed Darren =Braenden Morviael= Rightio, Time to leave! Get back to the ship asap! Darren gave a quick affirmative before Braenden put his comm link away and began to power up the YT-1930's systems over the next couple minutes before Darren and Jessie came bolting out from the cityscape underground and across the hangar corridor and up to the hangar bay. Braenden closed the boarding ramp and began the lift off sequence barely moments after the pair made it on board and only got into the cockpit as the YT-1930 moved out of the hangar bay and then rose up free of the herdship, Braenden activating the shields as they broke through the swarms of Vulture Droids and making it clear of the planet's gravity before disappearing into a flash of light as they entered hyperspace, headed for Ralltiir

As the last few escape pods and ships in the hangar bay left, laser fire and bombing runs managed to break through the shields, causing them to fail and leave the Galaxy's End Casino vulnerable. Feralas watched the read outs as alerts began ringing out as the cityscape was breached, starting from the tip of the Palladium Hotel and working down. Explosions were going off all over the ship as the Munificent-class star frigate's powered up all their guns and fired one final volley, breaching through the center of the ship and causing the ship's core to become unstable, before it exploded in a giant ball of fire, tearing the herdship apart, killing Feralas and the few crew who had remained aboard. With their target destroyed, the Vulture Droids returned to the Munificent-class star frigate's, before the 6 ships turned around and disappeared again into hyperspace, leaving behind only a debris field from the Casino

Vaal Asteroid Fields, Vaal System The Vaal system was the ideal location for a hideout. Abandoned since the imperial times of old, this ignored system had a number of asteroid fields with plenty of safe places to hide within, along with a habitable planet that was full of vicious beasts. Nobody cared about this system, and that's exactly what Garon liked about it. As he guided his ship through one of the outermost asteroid fields in the system, relying on his point-defense systems to take out the smaller rocks and flying around the larger ones as he navigated through it's obstacles towards one large asteroid in particular. Unremarkable in shape, it looked every bit as normal as the rest - which it was - except for the fact that hidden deep within one of it's massive canyons, disguised with rock from the asteroid itself, was the refitted bridge of an old imperial star destroyer form at least 20 or more yeast ago. Garon had purchased the seemingly useless hulk from a junkyard for a couple thousand credits, claiming he needed it for spare parts, and moved it here, putting lots of time and effort into repairing it, fitting it with basic life support systems, gravity generators, and the like, and turning it into a small little home away from home, a place to take his 'work' when he didn't want to take it to Concord Dawn. It wasn't much to look at, and most certainly wasn't among the galaxy's top hideouts, but it sufficed for his purposes, and it provided him with a place to hide when he needed it most. If all went well on this mission, it would do well for was he had in mind. Eventually he landed in the makeshift landing bay on the underside of the structure and disembarked, met immediately by three diverse figures who he'd hired to help him with this particular task. Stepping out of his ship, clad in his dull dark gray beskar'gam, he strolled straight up to his associates without a word of welcome and asked matter-of-factly, "The lizards?""All four secure on their frames, sir. We even brought an olbio tree with us, roots intact and all," the Rodian, Pangau, answered him directly, expecting no warm welcome. This was the way Garon preferred; they were his hired help - the best they could expect was pay and meals. Turning his head to the other two, a Bith with a severely scarred face - Lomthai - and an hulking Aqualish who never spoke - Araga - Garon then asked, "And the supplies?"Lomthai answered and Araga remained silent. "Stun grenades and batons all on board the ship. Tranquilizers too, just as you ordered." Araga nodded his assent as well, the most response anyone ever seemed to get from the guy. Looking from each of his hired hands, Garon finally said, "Let's not delay any longer then. We have a Jedi to catch, and our destination is on the other side of the galaxy."The Bith and Aqualish nodded and turned toward the larger transport in the hangar, but the Rodian remained where he was, saying, "Sir, I took the liberty to unpack and set up the torture devices you had us bring in." Garon stood there in silence, eyeing the Rodian intently, wondering whether to thank him for getting that tedious task out of the way or put a blaster bolt between his bulbous eyes for ' taking the liberty'. Instead he opted for the middle approach. "Very well," he said, then turned toward the ship, the matter being completely over in his mind. It was now time to focus on the mission at hand - and a difficult mission it would be.

The Corellian Run near Geonosis. The Vivisection and the Indomitable dropped out of hyperspace at the designated co-ordinates. The Victory-class Star Destroyer, Vivisection, began to deploy fighters. Ten V-19 Torrent starfighters exited the hanger bay of the nine hundred metre long vessel of war to provide cover to the larger ships. The Indomitable, a Interdictor-class Cruiser, waited for the appropriate time to activate her Gravity Well generators. Too early and they risk pulling something unexpected from hyperspace, too late and they would miss their target altogether. The Captain of the Indomitable paced the bridge watching the countdown on his viewscreen and checking the system status. Both ships shields were at full power and their weapons were at full readiness. The gravity well generators aboard the smaller vessel were also ready to be powered on at a moments notice. That moment came and the Captain gave the order, the trap was set!

The Corellian Run on Route to Geonosis
In the Swirling mass of hyperspace Captain Jones was having a good week. He had been assigned a rather simple, but useful task. He had been ordered to take the MMC-ICS Monsoon, the ship whose bridge he stood on now, the MMC-NB-SCMC Cruel Mercy, & the MMC-NB-SCMC Jupiter Rising. With this small fleet he was to establish a trio of Resource Extraction Platforms. It had been, all things considered, an easy & promising start to what looked to be a very good new job. Even if someone had been foolish enough to try to take the ship, the only access to the command area of the Monsoon was a single airlock at the top of the bridge super-structure, a fact that few, if any, would know. Besides, anyone stupid enough to try would have to fight a off the escort first.
Suddenly, everything started going horribly wrong. Alarms began to roar as the hypnotizing swirl of hyperspace shattered into the harsh solidness of realspace. Looking out the forward viewport, Captain Jones could see at least two large ships, surrounded by a swarm of fighters. They were close ... FAR too close. The had dropped out nearly on top of the waiting ships.
-SenOp Captain, I have a sensor lock on a Victory-Class Star Destroyer & an Interdictor-class Cruiser. Sensors are still recalibrating, but odds are high that they have a fighter escort. They also have us in an artificial Gravity Well.
By this point, Mr. Jones had all but soiled himself as his perfect week just took a rather nasty turn for the worse. Screw the odds, he could SEE the fighter escort. Some small & unimportant part of his mind kept going on about how he had been trained for this, knew what he should be doing, & should be issuing orders right about now. However, the rest of his mind was rather occupied with the fact that he could see the other ship's guns slowly swinging around to point in his direction.
-SenOp Sir, Orders? ... Sir?
By now, Mr. Jones had begun to giggle slightly. He also needed a new pair of pants, something that quickly became obvious to those nearest.
-SenOp (Closed Comm-message to the Escort) Captain Jones has been relieved of command. Captain Trevik of the Cruel Mercy is now in command.
Luckily for the fleet, Captain Trevik had paid a little more attention during drills. Within seconds of his 'promotion' he was barking orders. Unfortunately, the Jupiter Rising was on the far side of the Monsoon. A quick order later, & the Jupiter Rising began a sweep that would quickly grant it line-of-sight to the other ships. The Cruel Mercy, however, had a beautiful view of the possibly (nearly definitely) hostile ships.
-Captain Trevik Unidentified ships, this is Captain Trevik of the MandalMine Collective, Naval Brigade Strike Cruiser Cruel Mercy. State your intentions.

The Corellian Run near Geonosis. Captain Zhorin was not waiting long until the gravity wells pulled a trio of ships out of hyperspace, one matched the specifications of their target. The enemy seemed to be as surprised as they were as to how close the enemy formation was to the pair of pirate vessels. However this did not change the plan. Both of the Strike-class escorts moved in front of the cargo ship, a brave move but ultimately pointless, Zhorin smiled as she gave the order.
"Destroy the Strike escorts and dispatch the fighters to disable the cargo ship as planned, no mercy."
Their intentions would be perfectly clear as the opening salvo from the Vivisection heads straight for the Cruel Mercy. The Indomitable focused her fire on the second Strike, the Jupiter Rising, mainly to keep the pressure on until the Vivisection could destroy the first ship and switch fire to the other. Meanwhile the formation of V-19 Torrent fighters began to dive, "below" the plane of conflict to make a long, looping pass under the bellies of the enemy capital ships.

At the pirate ships open fire without a word, 'captain' Travik begins shouting orders to his crew.
-Trevik Tac-Com! I want firing data 30 seconds ago.
-Tac-Com Sir, sensors are still re-acquiring data from the unexpected drop. We need another fifteen seconds before we will have data.
-Trevik Fire teams, open fire at the Interdictor. At this range you shouldn't miss, even without firing data.
The weapons of the three ships soon began to thunder & shudder as the gunners swung around & unleashed their fury at the ship holding them captive. Their shields were holding for the moment, but they wouldn't stay up for long under this attack. With a touch of luck they should be able to break the shields of the Interdictor by the time that the first strike fell, leaving the other to hopefully damage the gravity well generators.
-Trevik All crew, prepare for Ragnarok Protocol.
A small shudder went through the crew of the three ships with that announcement, & everyone began to strap themselves securely into their crashseats.

The Corellian Run near Geonosis. Captain Zhorin watched his opening volley fall upon the pathetic enemy vessels, they would soon fall. However, maybe not before they became very annoying. They had focused their fire on the Indomitable in an attempt to shut down the gravity well generators, that could not happen. The mean looking Echani frowned as he spoke, not in a very light-hearted tone either.
"Move us between the enemy ships and the Indomitable, have them cease fire, I wouldn't put it past them to shoot us for kicks. Continue firing on the Cruel Mercy and send the fighters the hurry up message, I want that cargo ship disabled as soon as they can."
The crew were growing a bit nervous, this was supposed to be an easy take down but now they were having to defend their sister ship and slug it out with two cruisers. However they were not disheartened yet, they had been in a lot worse situations and emerged victorious. They had the advantage of the starfighters, The enemy had none and the V-19's were just about in position to strike.
Blood 1, lead fighter in the formation had just received the text message from the destroyer, it was what he was expecting. He removed it from his HUD and increased speed, the other fighters followed as he made the turn. They pivoted their craft up on their Z-axis about eighty eight degrees to come face to face with the underside of the enemy ships, all three of them. They were not interested in the cruisers, just the cargo ship. They quickly locked their missile launchers on the large craft, aiming at the main engine units on their first pass. With shields switched to full front they fired their missile volley and began their laser barrage. The missile streamed away from the fighters along with a dazzling display of red laser fire as they sped past the aft of the ICS Monsoon.
The view from the bridge of the Imdomitable was strange and unforfilling to say the least. The bridge crew thought they were in for a good show but the Vivisection cut off that view, probably just as well. The cruiser was still shaking from the first enemy volley, shields being weakened significantly as two shots penetrated the hull. The explosions echoed around the ships interior as the bridge crew monitored power levels. The power levels were fluctuating wildly in gravity well projector number three. However, since the enemy had already dropped from hyperspace they needn't run all four projectors simultaneously. The captain over saw the shutting down of projector three and then had two and four powered down as well. Projector one would be enough to keep the enemy from escaping into hyperspace for now!

The Cruel Mercy began to shake badly under the fire of the larger ship. The Jupiter Rising got a breath of respite, due to the other ship being blocked off, but there was still the main enemy ship to content with.
-Def-Com Sir! Shields will be failing with the next barrage or two.
-Trevik Copy that. Cruel Mercy AI, Activate Ragnarok Protocol. Target is directly ahead.
-Cruel Mercy AI systems Voice print confirmed. Ragnarok Protocol active. All hands secured. Drives full ahead. Impact in three seconds.
With a series of shuddering thuds, several chunks of the ship broke off & began racing away from the ship. Most were roughly the size of a escape pod, but the largest was the entire bridge tower. The modules would head out away from the battle, jumping to hyperspace as soon as the sensors detected a clear path. The now AI controlled ship lurched forward as the engines began to redline, pushing the ship directly at the pirate capital ship. At this close, a contact would be nearly guaranteed. Once contact was made, the reactor would overload from both the redlining engines & shock of impact. The impact & explosion would completely destroy the Strike & would also deal a fair amount of damage to the enemy ship.
The Monsoon gunners had a bit of a surprise as the ship shuddered from impact & fighters began to stream by overhead. There was a moment of shocked pause before the point-defense guns began to send out a deadly stream of fire at the pirate fighters. On the bridge of the Monsoon, the crew was staring in disbelieve at the data read-outs popping on on their screens. that last attack had damaged the release systems that would allow the bridge to break off from the rest of the ship. the bridge crew was trapped here.

The Corellian Run near Geonosis. Captain Zhorin watched with a sense of impending doom at the desperate actions of his beaten foe. They were abandoning ship before they were fully defeated, maybe they knew who they were. Their motives were unimportant at this stage, averting disaster was.
"Engines all ahead full, we need to clear these ships. Advise the Indomitable to move too or she'll be in for a surprise. On my mark open all the airlocks on the ventral side of the ship, continue firing."
The crew were not just a bit nervous now but quite afraid for their own lives. The Vivisection was twice the size of the Strike-class Cruisers but if either one hit them it'd be bad news. Their current course and speed would mean that one of the enemy ships would glance the rear of their shields while the other would hit them full on amidship. However when the two Strikes approached a little closer the Captain issued his order. All the airlocks on the ventral surface of the ship were opened and air rushed out for a split second with enough force to move the ship "up" quite a bit. Now both Strikes were on course to hit the Star Destroyer but luckily they would now impact on the ventral surface of the ship. The shields made contact and the reactors of the cruisers exploded in two massive explosions, ripping straight through the shields of the Vivisection. She was pushed violently away from the explosion as massive damage was caused to the shields. She switched fire to the other Strike as emergency repairs began in earnest.
Blood 1 lead the fighters in a loop back around the stern of the ICS Monsoon to fire on the bridge section. However two of the V-19 torrent fighters were hit, one vapourised on impact and the other lost an entire wing, beginning to spin out of control. It was soon hit by another shot and destroyed. However the remaining eight looped around and fired another volley directly into the rear of the bridge, skimming around the side of the ship afterwards in two lines to avoid the laser cannons.
The Indomitable quickly changed course and moved "below" the plane of the battle, managing to avoid any major damage from the explosion. She would now have to pick the fighters up after the operation and assist the Vivisection with repairs, for now the gunner on board were having too much fun picking off escape pods and taking pot shots at the ICS Monsoon.
