I have an Npc AI which my character placed in a dtoid. Is it alright to allow it to have the Force? Mind you I only aim for it to use basic moves a 10 year old Jedi could learn and later master such as telekinesis.

As far as I know, the only way for a droid to use the force is for it to be a shard. starwars.wikia.com/wiki/ShardAn alternative would be to have the droid be similar to Proxy, using tractor beams and repulsors to mimic telekinetic force abilities, though obviously this would be a much more limited form of the power. starwars.wikia.com/wiki/PROXY#Abilities

Bear in mind that Shard are sentient, unlike most droids. They'll be perfectly happy to rip your face off if mistreated.
