Avanoraa glanced around at the various hangar bay personelle, already starting to get the feeling that perhaps their impending visit had not quite been communicated ahead of time to Corellia. Whilst it was a little awkward, Avanoraa had complete faith that Aellemere would be able to navigate them through this situation without too much discomfort. As it stood, the Jedi and the Th'tremsi were allies, so the worst that could happen is that they would refuse the aide that was offered, so that was a positive thing. As Master Roma came to a stop and introduced herself, Commander Altaaly quickly turned her attention from organising the troops, and joined Avanoraa and Aellemere in returning the bow, before the Exarch took the lead Light's blessing to you Master Roma, allow me to introduce myself, I am Exarch Aellemere, diplomatic envoy of the Th'tremsi people. This is General Avanoraa, of the Fourth Corp of the Army of the Light. and Commander Altaaly... Aellemere motioned to herself, and then to Avanoraa and Altaaly, before the commander resumed her duties I do apologise for the unexpected nature of this visit, we were under the belief that the Jedi Council had communicated our impending arrival to the various academies. But no matter, such things happen from time to time. To answer your question, we are here to drop off a garrison of warriors to help aide with the Temple's security, and provide a link between our two groups so that should you require the assistance of our forces at large, we will be but a call away. You are more than welcome to refuse our aide, if you so choose to, for we are merely guests here within your temple. Otherwise, Commander Altaaly and her men will be placed under your command, to use as you see fit for the Temple's protection. I would be more than happy to answer any questions you have, or if need be, contact Master Rawkil so he might alleviate any concerns you might have?

Exarch Aellemere and General Avanoraa's responses to my question, while not quite answering all the questions I have or that are given rise to by their responses, both go a long way towards explaining the reasons behind the large troop compliment they have arrived with as well as provide the overall nature of their visit; not to mention also allaying in large part the majority of my lingering concerns there may be some sinister intent behind the forces that have been offloaded - for not only does Ashla warn me of any deception or malice laying beneath our unexpected guest's words or actions, but the Exarch's greeting and their army's official name also suggests that the Th'tremsi hold the Light Side of the Force in high regard, and that they are very likely to hold similar ideals as the Jedi themselves. The mention of Master Rawkil - whom I have never met, though the name is vaguely familiar to me - explains how it is that the Th'tremsi came to possess the authorization codes granting them access to be directed to our academy hangar; and also, given that Master Rawkil has, to my knowledge, never had any direct dealings with our academy, why it is that the Th'tremsi are unaware of the fact that the force they have arrived to offer is one nearly larger than the current population of our academy, and also one we have neither the space nor resources to accommodate. As General Avanoraa herself mentioned, it would seem that a lamentable lapse in communication has occurred; fortunately, however, it sounds as though that will not be allowed to hamper the opportunity to forge a relationship between our academy and the Th'tremsi given that they both appear aware of the fact some degree of miscommunication has occurred, and understand that such things are all too possible at times.
Smiling warmly, I shake my head as, addressing Avanoraa initially, I say, "I do not believe it necessary that Master Rawkil be contacted, General Avanoraa; I feel quite certain we will be able to come to an understanding ourselves, I look from Avanoraa to Exarch Aellemere and Commander Altaaly as I finish my initial statement to include them in the discussion. It does however, I continue with a frown indicating my regret and apology for what I am about to convey, appear as though there has been some degree of miscommunication, as we were neither made aware of your impending arrival, nor indeed of the very fact that the Th'tremsi people have forged a relationship with the Jedi Order. Unclasping my hands from behind my back to lift them in front of myself in a gesture symbolizing welcome, I smile and add warmly, Which is not at all to say that I and the academy here do not welcome the opportunity to learn more of your people so that we might also forge a bond between ourselves and the Th'tremsi. Letting my hands fall to my sides, I continue by suggesting, Would you like to continue our discussion someplace more comfortable? Our dining hall is not far from here, or, if you would prefer a more formal setting, we also have a conference room available."

Aellemere was kind of glad that contacting Master Rawkill would not be necessary, the Jedi Master had been quite busy of late, and despite his protestations otherwise, it was clear he needed some rest. Nodding in response to Master Roma's offer, Aellemere motioned for the Jedi Master to lead the way, with Avanoraa and Altaaly ready to fall in behind the Exarch I do find that discussions between friends are best had in comfort, so the dining hall sounds perfect...

"The dining hall it is then, I say with a warm smile, and then turn my attention to Commander Altaaly to say, I am afraid that our academy has no place to accommodate all of your troops, but they are welcome to make themselves as comfortable as they can here in the hangar while we continue our discussion in the dining hall." Motioning for Knight Madison, who is working on his starfighter nearby, to join us, I inform Commander Altaaly that Knight Madison will be available to see to any requests the troops might have for refreshment or other accommodations we might offer to make them more comfortable.
Once the matter of ensuring that the troops are made as comfortable as possible has been settled, I bid the trio of Th'tremsi that will be accompanying me to the dining hall to follow as I lead the way from the hangar and into the academy proper so that we may begin the short journey. As I lead the way, pointing out any features of the academy that merit pointing out, I call upon Ashla to telepathically communicate with Knight Sel, our academy's administrator, to see if she cannot track down any information on the Th'tremsi and the alliance they have indicated exists between the Jedi and their people; hoping that Knight Sel, having proved herself quite adept at tracking down information quickly in the past, will be able to verify that such an alliance indeed exists, and any details that might prove useful in the discussion I am about to engage in.
Continued in Dining Hall thread. . .

Riddick walked in at a clip, straight for his fighter. Immediately packing his gear in the cargo bin, a quick pre-flight check and then strapping in, he contacted the control center and informed the personnel there that he was performing an emergency departure. The power unit spun up, providing power to all necessary systems, including engine starting. They spun up and the craft gently lifted off the ground, and turned toward the hangar exit. No sooner than he was facing in the right direct, the E-Wing catapulted forward and made a sharp, and steep turn up, in the most direct path to home.

The Jedi Knight that enters the hangar and approaches the Th'tremsi ship is a tall, broad shouldered human male with a muscular build that even his loose fitting tunic and brown, hooded outer robe cannot conceal. Blue eyed, blonde haired, and possessed of a cheerful, regal, leonine face, Jedi Knight Hyatt Ashton moves with a feline grace despite his size, and greets the Th'tremsi with hearty good cheer. After introductions are made all around, Hyatt spends a few moments with the Th'tremsi that will not be remaining at the academy, and gives those that will be staying ample time to make any farewells they might wish to make before leading the way from the hangar into the academy proper so that he can give the Th'tremsi a tour of the academy, introduce them to the other Jedi that serve as the academy guardians, and then get them settled into the rooms that have been made available to them after helping unload any gear, supplies, or personal items that will also be staying at the academy.

=Theomiir Starstrider= Proceeding with some haste from the dining hall after receiving Master Raganella's message, the young Jedi Knight made his way to the academy's starship hangars. Taking possession of an academy-owned G9 Rigger-class freighter that was available for such occasions, Theo warmed up the engines while reviewing the data from Arkania. Calling the situation bad was an understatement. It seemed that the entire planet had been laid waste, including the Guardian Temple, and there were no evident signs of Arkanian life, let alone any traces of Arhiia, Airen, or Saphira. As hard as he tried to emotionally detach himself from the situation, he felt as if a dead weight had settled into the pit of his stomach. But then, the navicomputer gave out a yelp, reminding him that it was time to leave. Shaking his head slowly, Theo put his datapad aside, and guided the freighter out of the hangar, climbing rapidly for deep space.

*The black MAAT roared out of the sky before quickly reducing its speed almost to a stop when it entered the hangar. Swiftly, but gently, the ship touchdown and cut its engines. The doors slid open, letting its passengers disembark. Hana stepped out of the ship and came to a stop. Her eyes glanced across the hangar floor as if she was searching for someone. Jonas stepped out of the ship behind her and looked around, trying to spot what she was looking for.*
*Jonas* "What's the matter?"
*Hana* "Nothing. I just haven't been here in sometime. So, I'm waiting for someone to greet us."
*Jonas* "You're kidding right? You practically live here. Why not just go straight to whom you're looking for?"
*Hana* "Common courtesy, Creel. Or did you forget that in your time away from the military."
*Jonas rolled his eyes and shifted his helmet under his arm. As he looked around he realized that he was getting quite a few stares. Some were curious, others seemed on edge. He wondered for a brief moment why, then he realized that he was were his Mandalorian beskar'gam.*
*Jonas* "Well. Looks like people are noticing, but not much greeting."

Having handled the request from orbital control to grant Knight Tanil's request to land at the academy, Hyatt naturally enough felt as though welcoming Hana back to the academy was in order; while he does not know Knight Tanil particularly well, Hyatt is well aware of how - after being away for however long on an assignment or on other business - uplifting simply seeing a friendly, familiar face can be when returning to the place many of the Jedi residing at the academy consider the closest thing they have ever known to what it is to have a home.
Tall and broad shouldered with a boxer's muscular build that even his loose fitting tunic and hooded outer robe cannot quite conceal, Hyatt reaches up to gather his long mane of blonde hair into a ponytail as he enters the academy hangar, his blue eyes narrowing slightly as he becomes aware of the low, excited chattering taking place here and there in the hangar, and senses the commingled curiosity, apprehension, and tension felt by the Jedi and the civilian hangar crews within the hangar. It is not until Hyatt nears the MAAT Knight Tanil and her companion seem to be waiting by that he understands the source of the emotions running through some of those within the hangar; the beskar'gam worn by Hana's companion no doubt a bitter reminder to many of the losses suffered in the so-called Mandalorian Crusades.
Not one to judge the all by the actions of the few, Hyatt's demeanor, bearing, and tone as he greets Hana and her companion exhibit no underlying tension or concern, merely the hearty good-cheer the native Corellian is known for. "Hana! Hyatt calls out, stopping within a polite distance of Hana and her companion, opening his arms out at his side welcomingly, It's good to have you back, pet. You've been away far too long. Bowing at the waist after turning slightly to face Jonas, Hyatt greets him, Welcome to you as well. Rising from the bow, Hyatt introduces himself, Jedi Knight Ashton, but do call me Hyatt as it won't take quite as long. Looking from Jonas to Hana with an inquisitively arched eyebrow and an amused, distinctly lop-sided Corellian grin, Hyatt, gathering from their body language that Hana and her companion are not here on any business that requires him to be stuffily official and diplomatic, asks Hana in a playful tone, Well, aren't you going to introduce us? I'm not really expected to do everything, am I? Rolling a hand in the air, Hyatt says, Hurry it along, Tanil, so we can move on to the part where you tell me where all you've been off to, and all about your adventures while away. You know, the good stuff."

*Hana and Jonas turned at the sound of Hyatt's voice. Giving a light smile, Hana returned the bow, while Jonas merely tipped his head in greeting.*
*Hana* "It's good to be back, and yes I've been away long enough to make adventure seem almost boring." *She gave a small laugh before turning to Jonas.* "This is a friend of mine, Jonas Creel. He's a man of many titles. Former Lieutenant of the Republic army, former Jedi Knight, and most recently captain of a mercenary team."
*Jonas rolled his eyes at Hana's introduction. Sometimes she went overboard with such things.* "She's exaggerates some. Jonas is fine, no need for any kind of title."
*Hana* "Actually, I've been hunting a small elusive group of Sith. They've been leading me all across the galaxy. Sadly I lost track of them when the news of what happened to the Republic reached my ears. Going through the core systems as become a little harder now. Most recently though, the group I'm after showed up on Tatooine, looking for something in particular." *Her eyes drifted from Hyatt to Jonas, as if trying to accuse him of some sort of wrong doing.* "Isn't that right Mr. Creel?"
*Jonas shifted slightly, more out of agitation then anything.* "I told you before. We didn't know what was in that crate until we picked it up." *Hana opened her mouth to speak again, but Jonas cut her off when he spoke straight to Hyatt.* "My crew and I found a crate in a freighter on Hoth when doing a job for someone. The crate wasn't part of the job so we kept it for ourselves. When we opened it, we knew we should have left it behind. There were several Sith artifacts inside the crate, an acolyte mask, robes a few lightsabers." *He paused for a moment before speaking.* "Alos..there were eight Sith holocrons inside."
*Hana* "And what happened?"
*Jonas* "We went to Tatooine after deciding to deal with the cursed stuff later. Then we were ambushed by a group of Sith. They destroyed my ship, killed one of my crew members and stole the holocrons."
*Hana gave a sad smile before turning back to Hyatt.* "This group of Sith that ambushed Jonas and his crew are the some ones that I've been after. They've been after ancient Sith artifacts, collecting them where ever they can find them. What they're doing with them, I don't know. From what I've heard their some kind of rare order of Sith that dates back thousands of years. Their similar to the Jedi Council of First Knowledge, except it's Sith knowledge and not Jedi. Recently their activity has increased drastically and I'm not sure why. That much knowledge of the darkside though, that's...that's bad news in my opinion. Right now though, I'll admit, I'm at a lose. Since Tatooine, their trail has gone cold and I'm not really sure where to start looking."

His demeanor becoming more somber as Hana and Jonas relate all that has befell them during the course of the pursuit of the mysterious Sith, Hyatt attends closely to all that both share, his blue eyes intent. Crossing his arms, and later lifting the left to rest a fist beneath his bearded chin, Hyatt nods with a sympathetic frown when Hana and Jonas have concluded their jointly told tale by relaying that they would seem to have temporarily lost the trail of their quarry.
His earlier cheerfulness having been dampened by the news of the losses Jonas and Hana have suffered, Hyatt suggests in hopes of lifting Hana's spirits, "If your Sith are increasing their activity levels as you suggested, I imagine they'll leave some sign of their passage soon enough which will enable you to resume the hunt. If not, he adds while stroking his beard reflectively, I might have an idea or two as to how you might go about picking their trail back up. Waving a hand, Hyatt chuckles and says, Though I imagine I'll not have any ideas you're not able to come up with between yourselves. Uncrossing his arms and gesturing towards the doors leading from the hangar into the academy, Hyatt suggests, Should we head inside? I imagine you both could use some rest, or something to eat perhaps?"

*Hana inclined her head at Hyatt's suggestions.*
*Hana* "I'm sure, as elusive as they are, that these Sith will make their move again. Hopefully one that will telegraph their presence enough to find them." *Hana's smiled brightened some at the suggestion of food or rest.* "My crew and I have had plenty of rest recently. The food however, that's an offer we will take you up on."

"To the dining hall it is then, Hyatt says, an amused smile tilting the right corner of his lips upward as he asks Hana, I trust you still remember the way, pet?"
The atmosphere as the trio makes their way from the MAAT towards the doorway leading from the hangar into the academy proper is markedly less tense that it had been moments earlier; Hyatt's demeanor with the new arrivals making it clear to the hangar crews and academy residents working or socializing in the hangar that there is no cause for concern. As he passes a young barefoot Togruta attired in the khaki and brown common among many Jedi, Hyatt asks her, "Mind the front door for me, will you Vaayla? After returning Vaayla's bow, Hyatt tells Hana, She was Knighted while you've been away. I imagine she'll soon be off as often as you are. No comms, no letters, just the occasional pop in to raid the kitchen. Chuckling with a slight shake of his head, Hyatt stops by the doors leading into the academy, gesturing for Hana to go ahead of him as the doors hiss open, After you, pet. Waving for Jonas to go ahead as well, Hyatt says with an amused smile, I'll watch our six. Hana will be on point as we head for our objective."

"Yes, I remember. I may have been gone for a while, but one never truly forgets home." *Hana replied with a grin. She gave a bow to Vaayla as she passed. A padawan getting knighted was always a special occasion in Hana's mind, she remembered hers as if it happened only days before. She gave a light chuckle at Hyatt's comment when they reached the dining hall. Jonas, however, just rolled his eyes.*

Johun entered the hanger and headed for the Libero.
Master Starfield good to see you again.
You too, Lt. Trado, but I am not a Master Jedi yet. Is the Libero ready?
Whenever you are, sir.

Not quite ten minutes later, Kay'li followed Johun into the hangar, carrying a medium-sized travel bag which she always kept packed and ready to go for just such situations. Pausing near one of the side entrances from the academy to the hangars, she glanced about for Johun, as the smell of oil and fuel washed over her. His decisive move toward the hangar implied that he already had a means of transportation in mind, but she didn't know what his ship looked like, or if it was a one-person starfighter or capable of carrying passengers.
To her surprise, she quickly spotted him near a large, modern J-1 shuttle, talking to a member of the ground crew. "Is this yours?" She asked.

Johun smiled as he saw Kay'li approach. He nodded to her in affirmation to her question.
Indeed it is. The Libero has served me well. This is Lt. Trado and 2Lt. Shimi, Pilot and Co-pilot respectively.
Lt. Trado and 2Lt. Shimi bowed in respect to Kay'li.

Kay'li's eyes traced over the ship as Johun answered, and then she acknowledged the pilots with a smile and a nod for each. J-1 shuttles were somewhat boxy, but that was because they were robust and designed to take a lot of potential abuse. That was the benefit of some of the modern ships: the designers knew how much stress a Jedi could put on their transport, and engineered the ships to survive those stresses.
"She is a beautiful ship." The Corellian replied. "But I wonder if we should use something less obviously Jedi for this mission ...."

Not to worry Madame. The Libero has no Jedi markings or associations. It's IFF codes are of a private contracted transport.
Johun looked at Kay'li for her response. He had used this ship many times, both in an official and non-official capacity for the Jedi Order. So far Ashla had blessed him with good fortune.

Kay'li shrugged, not entirely convinced. The class of vessel was almost exclusively used by the Jedi.
"Well, if you are certain that the ship cannot be traced back to the Jedi Order, and you have used it in the past without detection, then I guess there is no need for concern." She smiled. After all, maybe this worked in their favor. No one but the most creative Imperial would ever guess that a Jedi would pick a J-1 for a covert mission. It was reverse psychology at it's finest. "If they get suspicious, I can always invent a good story about how we stole it from the Jedi." She winked. "Lead the way, Lieutenant."
