Aleranus nods, gathering himself up to follow behind the two Jedi. Where the walk, he follows.

as i slowly walked the distance of the hangar, it was late evening and like i had promised, i had heeded Master Jade’s words… and slept… for a period of roughly 98 hours. ‘ ashla can i hit snooze when i crash…’ approaching the ship that is designated, i saw what looked to be a holographic droid.:: Greetings master, I am PIXAR, classified as a Super Proxy Droid. My primary function is complete care of TS-108 and any passengers she carries:: “ I am Diamonte Tuhlute, Jedi Master” i was certainly shocked when the droid shimmered into my Blue naval coat with a miniature flying dragon on his shoulder:: excuse me Master, but there is a clerical error in your statement, according to the Jedi Dossier of one Diamonte Tuhlute, current ranking is Knight.:: “then run an update. you can scan me for a bio print, i am the real deal” rather than performing as i wished, the Pixar droid returned to its base form and with a knowing look led me into the shuttle.:: master, there is a message for you in my banks. the man who recorded it claims to be responsible for the jedi temple security.. shall i play it?:: I nodded and the message began. the man introduced himself as “tessai” the captain of the White guard. the white guard apparently was a branch of government security that was in charge of defending guests of the government, in particular the citizens of the village Avlion and the nearby temple… or monastery as Tessai called it.
as i continued to rub water out of my eyes from the tears of exhaustion, I instructed Pixar to Take the ship into orbit, and prep the ship for a hyperspace jump.

Everything was strange; yes to a certain degree he had been effectively freed. Lifted out of poverty, despair and a desperate situation, and yet trying to survive in the stinking lower scum ridden levels of a suburban metropolis was all he had known. Now all around him was cleanliness and bright lights and that fresh, clean, neutral smell. Effectively he was lost. The 'Jedi' had found him and were viewed by many others as saviors, there were children like him, but a deep dark part of Xeres at least knew how to take the beatings of a drunk Father and also how to avoid them, in this too there was a familiarity and a routine, that was his life, they expected they could uproot a child and throw him head first into this strange alienating world and cope, but thrown he had been, and the Jedi, they had not sought to counsel him, or support him, Xeres presumed that they believed him to be grateful and to feel relieved and thankful, and to be excited about his future prospects. Yet how was one supposed to act, what now was the price of failure, and if food could be acquired by taking a simple walk, what was the meaning to this new life, what was he living for, that primal urge within that had kept him alive needed feeding. How could those not born into such a life ever hope to understand, his way of life had helped him survive; without it; well he just didn't know, what he did know was that the empty void needed filling; if of course it could be filled.

Ever since sentients could speak, they wondered what made all this. What gods have created the world. Ever since they realised that blue skies are just reflections of molecules and clouds are water, not a heavenly kingdom where souls go, they wondered what powers drive the galaxy. Sure, the Force is one idea, there is also a group on a far away planet that believe in the powers of negativity and jinx. Why shouldnt there be a god to Irony? This day, The God of Irony worked in misterious ways.
The yellow twilek slave walked into the Hangar out of curiosity. She had been mapping out the accademy for days, mingling with students and teachers alike, while waiting for results on the search on her old mistress. Seeing a new arrival, the casually clad twilek slave known as Number 5 took this as an opportunity to actually do some good here in the Accademy.
She walked htought that witch was bright with lights and fresh, clean, natural smell. Seeing a robed figure, she took the opportunity.
-5- "Hello there. Got lost? I dont think I have seen you before around here. You all right?"
What was unusual and ironic about the Twilek was the fact that she wore a slaves collar on her neck.

Xeres spun about the voice startling him; lost, yes and completely lost at that.
Foreign planet, foreign place, foreign people. The cogs that helped run his life previous had been unceremoniously taken out of the well oiled machine and no one had sought to fashion new ones, of course the Jedi assumed that through there program of study that new cogs would be planted and this would make for a more efficient machine.
Turning now he took in the slender unmistakably attractive creature before him; Twi'lek, yes they could be a shrewd kind, but this one, this one wore the collar of a slave, he had seen many like her on his home world. Ahh well at least this was a touch of normality and this strange female, seemingly looking as out of place in her surroundings as Xeres felt became a rock to cling to in the raging waters.
"Hello, yes....Yes I am.........lost. No, no you wouldn't have, not around here..........this, this is all so new."

-5- "Nah, I am kinda sure this building is a couple hundred years old or so. They surely built on the hangar later, but I am sure its not new."
She said with an amused smirk. She cought him eyeing her neck and 5 realised one very important thing. She tugged at her collar playfully.
-5- "Oh sheesh... Look, sir, I dont think I am the best person to represent your first meeting with the corellian jedi... Come, I shall try to find someone who is better at that. They are actually rather reluctant to slavery and also respectfull, witch is nice. So, I am Five, its short, I know, but thats the number I got. What name did you get?"
She pulled her datapad and sent a text message to some kind of Jedi Temple dispatch or mainfraim that could resend requests for school supplies or schejuals or ask for a jedi to help. She took the last option, asking for some jedi bigwig to show up and not ruin this introduction.

About seven minutes later one of the doors into the hangar slid open, and a statuesque figure stepped through them. Walking over to the two beings engaged in conversation (Five and Xeres), the green-skinned Twi'Lekan Healer stopped nearby and bowed in greeting to both of them, tucking her datapad under her left elbow. Clear grey eyes were suddenly swamped in a storm, as her lekku, tchunn and tchin twitched against her collarbone. Her sandy brown robes were typical for Jedi, but her tunic stretched down to her ankles instead of ending at mid-thigh, giving her the appearance of wearing a split skirt. A subtle embroidery of green along the hems indicated her allegiance to Corellia. Darkly penciled eyebrows arched in a combination of surprise and unease.
Nalatua'lin had not met Five before, but she had replied to the general message asking for assistance anyway. She immediately noticed her slave collar and with difficulty suppressed a visible expression of distaste and horror. It was shocking to see, particularly when she had only recently had a conversation with Aleranus about Jedi and slavery. The Healer found herself caught between her inborn hate of slavery, particularly in one of her own species, and her more instinctive desire as a Healer to smooth the surfaces and provide aid where it was needed.
"I am Nalatua'lin, Chief Healer in the infirmary here. In what," she hesitated only slightly, "can I be of assistance?"
She was already looking at Xeres, assessing him for physical damage as she could feel the uncertainty that surrounded him like a cloud. In fact, it was largely due to the fact that she had been walking in this general direction in response to the feeling of confusion that she had arrived so quickly upon the heels of Five's summons.
Addressing Xeres, she spoke in a low, musical tone, "Welcome to the Corellian Jedi Academy. Have you traveled far?" The polite query was intended to break the ice, and perhaps lead to further conversation.

She pulled her datapad and sent a text message to some kind of Jedi Temple dispatch or mainfraim that could resend requests for school supplies or schejuals or ask for a jedi to help. She took the last option, asking for some jedi bigwig to show up and not ruin this introduction. He raised a quizzical eyebrow, everything was new to him since he had not seen any of it before and so the same could be said for the situation he found himself in, however the Twi'lek seemed to take his wording rather literally, perhaps the underlying smirk he saw curl her lips bellied a dry sarcasm.
Then she became rather flustered leaving Xeres to just look at her all the more quizzically; were they all like this? he wondered. However she mentioned that the Corellian Jedi were sympathetic toward slavery, stranger still then that she wore a slave collar. Xeres shrugged this off as she introduced herself as five, Xeres guessed this was a further remnant of her past as a slave and found himself smiling politely."Xeres, my name is Xeres." She then pulled out a datapad and tapped away and moments later a small door to the right slid open and in walked, or rather more accurately glided another Twi'lek. Xeres arched an eyebrow as he watched this slender and seemingly rather less robust looking Female. Though no doubt no less attractive she seemed more refined, some might say cut from a different cloth, the two were very much like chalk and cheese. The taller more slender green Twi'lek bowed politely and introduced herself. She then politely asked if she could be of assistant and whilst Xeres mulled this over she welcomed him and asked if he had traveled far."Help, yes I am a little lost, my journey was long and I am tired." Xeres replied honestly but he was not yet in a comfort zone where he wished to divulge his past with a complete stranger of whom he knew nothing about, yet she seemed polite enough and Xeres had no reason not to continue in a similar vein.

5-s eyebrow went up when an other Twi'lek walked in. While 5 was yellow, this was a green one. 5 knew how much the Mistress liked yellow on green, and wondered if she should give this twi'lek a special paragraph in her next report, whenever she is able to give it, that is. When the twilek looked at 5 she could see the distaste in the womans face, as if spread with a neon sign. 5 composed herself not to smile the woman strait in the face, proudly wearing her collar. She wasnt here to provoke. As the woman asked what was up, 5 simply pointed at the lost gentleman, and stood aside a bit, letting the real residents deal with the present problem, ready to pitch in if help was needed. All the while she watched the two, interested in both of them, not just the newcomer human.

An older model light freighter flew overhead and settled slowly to the ground in a clear spot. The name across the side labled it as the Perserverence a supply ship carrying food and other essentials. The captain and first mate, the regular crew of the ship, strode easily down the ramp, meeting a Temple worker at the bottom to fill out the normal paperwork. While not a regular, the Perserverence had made several supply runs in the past.
Dak grunted faintly and his jaw clenched as he banged his head off of the to of the hatch. It was clear that he was doing his best to contain his frusteration, but having spent most of his trip dealing with ships, planet-side buildings, food vendor stalls, and virtually everything else being designed around beings averaging less than two metres, his anger had almost reached the boiling point, despite his best eforts to calm himself. It wasn't until he reached the ground and streched out to his full height of slightly more than two and a half metres that his heart began to slow again. Making a silent promise to himself to avoid spacetravel at all costs in he future, Dak made his way slowly towards the captain of his ride, glancing around at everything.
Watching Dak, the captain winced when flesh met framework.
"Poor sod's been having trouble wih that since we picked him up."
Turning back to the worker, the captain made a 'shoo' motion with his hands.
"Go let someone know we have a Jedi hopeful waiting here, ok?"

"Well, we have guest quarters here. They are spartan in nature, but have everything required for the refreshment of the mind and body. If you wish, we can find you an unoccupied bed, Xeres?"
She addressed the young male that the green Twi'Lek had silently pointed to. Things kept piling up here as a YT-1300 freighter came in to land as they were speaking. Turning towards the Captain,
"A Jedi hopeful? Have him join us here," she calmly invited him. This way perhaps the two newcomers would find common ground in exploring the Corellian academy. Nala knew that having someone else who was just as new as one's self often provided a much more comfortable and seamless transition during a period that could be daunting.
Even though Five and herself had not really conversed with each other as of yet, Nala was not ignoring her. If things did not work out for them to speak right now, she would find her later. Or Five would find Nala. Something about the slave was unsettling in addition to the fact that she was a slave. She could feel the woman thinking from where she stood. However, an ideological discussion of that nature was not something she wished to instigate in front of two new arrivals to the academy.

Xeres looked from Woman to Woman, something clearly passed between them, an unspoken something, what he did not know and it seemed that neither would speak of it here.
He arched an eyebrow; quarters, quarters that in comparison to his previous dwelling would no doubt be beyond his wildest imaginings, he could detect the kindness of course he could and he could see what was on offer here, he now had a life of endless potential and meaning, but that didn't make him grateful for it; it was not so easy to scrub away the past and familiarity and Xeres reckoned that even in the future, if one were to scrub hard enough over the surface of his skin they would reveal the Urchin beneath.
He inclined his head.
"A room, but I want it unadorned and of the lowest quality."
A peculiar request perhaps, perhaps maybe not, but he had his reasons, if he was going to be out of his comfort zone then he did not wish to stray too far. He needed time to transition the huge chasm that existed between his previous way of living and what would be this, this new way. Perhaps it didn't need to be new, perhaps he just needed to alter his thinking; yes, look at Xeres not as knew, just, just as different.
He then turned his head to the latest arrival, a vessel of some kind or another; Xeres was not overly familiar with starships, perhaps this newcomer could be some form of kin, Xeres waited with baited breath in the hope that someone like him would walk down that ramp.

Dak held out a hand to the captain of the ship he had arrived on. When the captain took it, Dak was very careful to not catch the man with his claws or squeeze to hard and hurt him. Repeating the gesture with the first mate, he smiled cautiously at both of them.
"Thank you for your help."
Turning to where he had been beckoned, Dak strode steadily over to the small group of people. He nodded to each in turn. They seemed friendly enough, although Dak was slightly disappointed. It seemed that once again, he was to be too large to fit in comfortably with yet another group. Mentally pushing his feelings aside, Dak took a deep breath to help calm himself, and spoke, his voice rumbling deeper than most species could achieve,
"Hello."

I was not put-off by Xeres' misunderstanding. The language of my people is not one that is merely verbal, and even in Basic conversations we still add nuances with the use of our twin Lekku. It is what we do, only one or two aliens, by which I mean those who are not Twi'Lek, have ever been able to understand it. This is why when we feel isolated from others of our species we feel even more alone. This is why even though I am sickened by 5's condition, I am still somewhat pleased to be with another Twi'Lek.
Nala smiled at Xeres, explaining further her earlier offer, so that both he and Dak would understand. "Unassigned initiates bunk in a barracks style room. Your quarters will be neither worse nor better than those of your comrades. Though, for you, Dak," she turned, including the Yuzzem in the conversation as she took in his bulk. Even she, standing a solid six feet, two inches, had to look up at him a bit, "there are beds of a more substantial size. We have had a Whiphid in residence before, as well as the occasional Wookiee or Epicanthix."
She smiled in a friendly fashion, clear grey eyes and calm Force aura radiating welcome to both of them, "So, off to see your quarters first, then? Or would you prefer food and a tour of the Academy?" The Healer guessed that Xeres would probably prefer sleep, though Dak might wish to stretch his limbs after a long flight.

Five the yellow Twilek with a slaves collar looked on with interest, and she too used her lekku signals. She herself left her twilek sisters about a standard month back, and she was still instinctively twitching her lekkus as she communicated. She the tentacles twitched in a manner that is linked with curiosity. She also realised that buying a shawl would maybe be in order.
-5- "Actually, I havent been on the tour yet myself, so sign me up!"

"Of course," Nala replied with barely a second's hesitation.
I want to know who allowed a slave here. I want to know now. And I want to know why in the seven hells she is wanting to learn about this academy. But, I remain polite on the surface, telling myself this is necessary for now. One way or the other, I will have answers.
The green Twi'Lek eyed Five narrowly, wishing she could see directly into the other woman's psyche, but guessing at what she might find. Surely the Council knew about this? But...why?! In the absence of forthcoming answers, she directed her attention back at the group, and rounded everyone up for the tour.

As the green twilek jedi eyed the yellow twilek slave, 5 couldnt resist but to wink at her playfully. She started to get why the Mistress liked to provoke the jedi. Not that it was smart, neither that it was productive, but god damned, these people were either too secluded from the galaxy, or just plain judgemental. She decided to turn that. She got up close to Nala, so their conversation could be a little bit more private.
-5- "I am told I need a supervisor or a guard or whatever if I leave the premesis and I would like to buy a shawl. When we are done here, would you like to come and help me?"

*Ral's ship came to a landing in an empty bay. Inside, the smuggler and former Jedi was pulling on some thick, earth toned robes over his usual garb. Leaving his blaster pistol laying on his bunk, he frowned. He hated to leave the weapon behind, but it would not do to go carrying it around an academy. He reached out for the box that he kept his old saber in. He clipped it to his belt and lowered the ramp, striding out to search for his contact, avoiding speaking with anyone as much as possible.*

Xeres and Dak were quickly shown to the Residential Wing with stops to point out training rooms, mess hall, and other points of interest within the Academy itself.
Then, Nala turned to Five. "I shall offer an opinion if it is needed." And this way she could keep an eye on the slave. The Healer did not know her purpose in being here, but if there was a threat to the Academy, she didn't want it wandering around unattended. Perhaps later she'd seek out Master Raganella and voice her concerns.
"To Coronet city then?" It had a plethora of shopping bazaars and undoubtedly would have something to suit the yellow Twi'Lek. Well, it might be more material than the voluptuous female was used to, but in Nala's opinion, it was called for around the younger padawans. She herself was not a prude when it came to things like that, but there was some decorum to be observed within the Academy.

Five turned her head slightly to the side and the ends of her lekkus around in curiosity. Seeing the glances the twilek jedi gave her she thought that the woman would ask an other jedi. Intresting.
-5- "I am happy to have you onboard. Might make a stop by the post office by Fifth and sixteenth. And do a little grocery shopping. I have someone waiting for me who needs my help. If you dont mind of course."
She followed Nala to whatever transportation that would take them to the city and decided to be the first to ask the inevitable question.
-Five- "So, whats your story? You have been eyeing my neck half the tour."
She knew that the question would come back too. Five decided to take initiative.
