Every year, Eralam makes a trip to Kashyyyk for one purpose: he wishes to seek out the mating animals and destroy them. He once spent several decades marooned on this accursed planet, and at this time of the year, it became unbearable. The noise, the smells, the random fluids left everywhere...he hated it with the passion of one who hates carnal passion. Once he had convinced the wookiees that he was not a remnant of the Clone Wars (a difficult task for a droid with a gun, and wookiees are notoriously stubborn) he was able to leave. He still, to this day, makes it a point to visit and kill as many of the furry and scaly little bastards as possible.
It had been a successful week. Several thousand critters were dead. If he kept this up for another century or so, it was entirely possible that several local species would go extinct. The Shard was now at the end point, the wrecked Star Destroyer that had shot down his ship and got him stuck here. He had managed to take it with him, but that was small consolation. After killing off as much of the local wildlife as possible, Eralam always made it a point to burn the carcasses on the wrecked hull of the ship.
In the flickering light of the dying fire, Eralam stood stock still. His LeMat on the right hip gleamed in the orange light, as did the lightsaber on his left hip. He would stay right where he was until the fire died, unless interrupted.

*Kalosis moved through the darkness of Kashyyk's underbelly guided only by his twisted hold on the force and the light given by his blood red lightsaber. Kalosis' paces as he moved was swift and deliberate. One could not sit still in the place if you were in the open. Was grounds to be attacked by one of the many predators of this world. Kalosis had came prepared for a fight opting to wear his light armor over his blackened Sith robes. The armour was constructed of armour-weave, thick hides including rancor and thin layers of cortosis on vital areas, including forearm, shins, shoulders, chest and some of the neck. The armour also has a tattered and torn cape as well as ornamental horns protruding from the neck on each side.*
*As Kalosis pushed forward he began to sense a strong dark side presence. Of who or what it belonged to was a mystery to Kalosis, but it overpowered the background taint of this planets surface. And that was enough to tell him he was close to his target. He had discovered through one of his many sources that a Star Destroyer had crash landed on the surface and that it may hold artifacts or valuable data. Kalosis usually wouldn't bother with such things himself but he felt compelled to visit Kashyyk. He guessed it was going to pay off. Kalosis quickened his pace and soon came to a clearing, a few trees had been fell and debris was impacted around. He knew he had found his target. He squinted to adjust to the darkness better. And there it was, the Star Destroyer. It was ripped in two and was being overgrown by the planets vegetation. Something was out of place though, a dim light flickered on one of the lower decks. Someone must be here.*
*After a few moments Kalosis moved his way into the ship and onto the deck the faint glow had come from. As he moved down the massive hall he could smell smoke, it was a fire. And there was indeed someone here. Clearly the source of the darkness he felt. Kalosis readied himself for a fight, drew on the darkside and gripped his still active lightsaber tighter. It was a safe assumption this being, of the darkside, was hostile. Kalosis was.*

Eralam felt the creeping dark presence, but well, he didn't care. He would allow nothing, no thing, to interfere with his moment of personal revenge. And if that meant his aura crept towards what organics referred to as darkness, then so what? The Shard cared nothing for light and dark, cared nothing for the silly notions of organics. He had seen the Force in all its glory and had merely sighed. This was not a being that gave a rat's ass about what others thought.
As a precautionary measure, the LeMat found its way into the Shard's right hand. He cocked back the hammer and went back to his vigil over the burning corpses of cuddly things. Let whatever wicked things that lurked in the darkness come. He was more than willing to add another corpse to the pyre.
