Raylia folded her hands in front of her, a gentle expression of firm decision on her face. She agreed with Rawkill immensely on not allowing Octavious to know the location of the vault or the mechanisms for how to gain entrance. It was plain that he was very much affect by the proximity of the item and it did not bode well for any intended study of the artifact. If this was as he claimed, she wondered if the vault were truly the safest spot. She made up her mind immediately. It would be stored for the night and then it would be taken by her staff under heavy guard to a secure location where none would seek to find it. Even if Octavious were lured by the thought of the sword, he would not know where to look for it. Her voice was kind but carried the weight of her resolve. "I must agree with my colleague. You seem to be very affected by your contact with this item. I'm afraid for your safety, you must surrender it here. Master Rawkill and I will escort it to the vault, if you and Mirania would like to head to the residential quarters, we will meet you there shortly to discuss other business." *Octavious could feel the resolve in their words. Clearly the two Master's were unaware that Octavious was filled with an inner serenity that could only come from the training of the Kel Dor on Dorin and resist the sword's call, thus making Octavious a Baran Do Sage, he turns around Master Venci's computer and inputs his own codes that only an operative with his classifications could access anything. When done, it welcomes him and shows no name or rank but only classifies him as "Operative". This wasn't an act of disrespect, it was to show them the truth. They would learn it soon enough and hopefully put them at ease. Hopefully.*
"Forgive my abrasiveness, but you both see shadows where there are none. Even with one of them in front of you. There is no place on any Jedi facility that I can't access. With that being said, If I was truly affected by this weapon, I wouldn't have come here to turn it in in the first place."
*Octavious opens his case once again and takes out the sword. He hands it over to Master Venci.*
"I will await your further instructions."
*Octavious closes his case, carrying it in his right hand and goes to take Mirania's hand with his left and exit from the office when dismissed.*

Rawkill studied Octavious as the man moved behind the desk and accessed an account known as Operative. Although the man seemed to defend himself, He had trouble trusting people he just met, even if they had just brought in a potential darkside object. He then watched as Octavious then handed the sword to Raylia before awaiting further instructions. Rawkill bowed to Octavious and Mirania =Jedi Master Rawkill= Thank you for bringing this to us. We will let you know what we find. Rawkill then turned towards Raylia who was currently holding the sword, still curious as to what the the relic really was =Jedi Master Rawkill= After you Master Venci...

Mirania was surprised that Octavious had been holding on to such a powerful dark artifact, as he hadn't really mentioned having found anything to her. This was the first she had heard of or seen the weapon and she was surprised that he hadn't thought to mention anything to her. Given its dark nature, maybe that was for the best. She smiled a little when he took her hand, glad to be leaving the artifact's presence. With any luck this would be the last time they had any kind of contact with the weapon, and she would be very glad for that.

Raylia lead the diminutive master down the corridors and elevators into the bowels of the massive temple. Her sandals made a slight clicking sound, echoing along the stone walls while his furried feet were virtually silent as he followed along. Several minutes later after many security protocols, the sword was safely locked away from tempted explorers. Soon it would be relocated to a much more secure location offworld. She looked down at Rawkill as they made their way back up to her office, her curiosity peaked.
"I get the feeling there is much more than meets the eye when it comes to this position."

Rawkill had followed silently behind Raylia, taking in the Archives and all the security measures that were in place, not that he really understood the innerworkings of much of it, but they obviously worked. Rawkill nodded in agreement with the woman's statement about the perks of their new job as members of the CoFK =Jedi Master Rawkill= I get that feeling as well Master Venci. I can't help but feel like there is a powa at work here that we are barely beginning to understand...

However, in retrospect it was the best thing that he did. He could purge the darkness from himself more easily than she could. Not that she was incapable, he just had better training than she did. Something he would be able to do if she asked. He wasn't going to force the teachings of the Baran Do on her if she didn't want it. When the two Masters leave, he keeps holding her hand as he leads her to the residential areas. Perhaps there they could spend some time relaxing. It wasn't the Lake Country but they were quaint enough for modest needs.*

When they returned from their trip down to the archives, Raylia opened her office to find a strange man within it. He was older, Bothan, and she knew him right away. He was another member of the Council of First Knowledge, Master Chanda Jolin. He had sat on the Council for a number of years and she had wondered how long it would take for him to reach out to her and Rawkill. He smiled gently as they entered surprized. He motioned for them to take the seats in the room while he went and locked the door behind them and deployed the use of a silence projector to mask their conversations from eavesdroppers.
"Greetings. I am Master Jolin, senior member of the Council of First Knowledge. Welcome to your orientation. I know a lot of what I'm about to tell you will be confusing but we'll get through everything and hopefully get you both ready to serve here. I know your appoints might have come as a shock but my recommendations were responsible your elevations. I've been watching you both and I believe your youth and insights will help guide us into healing the Order and the galaxy after the war. Any questions first?"

Rawkill took a seat as Master Chanda Jolin greeted them back in Raylia's office, before the Senior Member of the Council of First Knowledge then locked the door and activated a silence projector. Rawkill hadn't exactly expected to find Master Jolin, so it indeed was a bit of a surprise to find the man greeting them and introducing himself =Jedi Master Rawkill= It is a pleasure to meet you Master Jolin. I don't really think I have any questions as yet...

Terra entered the archives, and her pace slowed a little from the rather brisk pace she had adopted since leaving the training rooms. She had been supposed to spar with Nik that morning but had ended up kissing him and then someone else barged in and she ran off. Of all the problems she thought she'd be having on Coruscant, a romantic entanglement would have been the last one she thought of.
On one hand, she was in a relationship with Ralph, who, if she recalled, was actually on his way to Coruscant right now. On the other hand, Nik was so passionate and had a little rebellious streak that she found intriguing, in spite of herself. But it wouldn't be fair to Ralph to just up and leave him for Nik, just because they had been apart for just a few days. Then again, Nik had said that he wouldn't mind an open relationship, but would Ralph really be OK with that? And was that the right thing to do with anyone? There just weren't answers. Terra had never been in a situation like this before. And the Jedi weren't exactly experts on such things...
She sighed heavily and absently perused the shelves, trying to get her mind off of Nik long enough to think.

The Bothan master smiled kindly and without further ado, began to run through a sort of orientation presentation on the terminal. He reviewed the organization structure, the mission statement and how appointees to the Council were members until they resigned or perished. A commitment not to be taken lightly was a phrase repeated many times during the discussion of the various archive locations and padawan training programs. Raylia's extensive experience in the fields of archaeology and preservation would be invaluable to the Council and Rawkill's numerous travels around the galaxy to train gave him a large contact base where most of the training would take place. So far, Raylia was pleasantly pleased with the move to serving on the CoFK, however, the next slide in the presentation chilled her blood. Octavious' sudden visit made sense and she cast a little glance in Rawkill's direction.
The Council of First Knowledge also held the Jedi Shadows, secret Sith hunters who took out Sith targets, destroyed Sith artifacts or collected them for storage away from Sith hands. While the Shadows operated almost entirely independently, it would still be necessary for the CoFK to pass along information vital to their missions should they come across it in the field. Closing the presentation, Master Jolin handed each of them an encoded comlink, a code name and a passcode. Raylia acutely felt the chill in the room as the coms was pressed into her hand. This was more than she bargained for, but if the other Jedi thought she was ready for this, then so be it.
"Are we allowed to suggest members for the Shadows? I think I know a guy who'd be perfect."
Master Jolin looked at her quizzically.
"It is unorthodox but it is not forbidden. Who is it?"
"His name is Zik Kine. He was a former Jedi student however, he never found a place that he feel like he fit in. He has no love for the darkside, but he's not exactly the peaceful type. I think an opportunity like this would be just the thing to bring him back to the Jedi but give him an outlet where he feels he is making a difference."
"Zik is known to us. I approve him on a trial basis. Set up a meeting with him and I'll send you a mission brief he can go on. Any else?"

Rawkill listened intently as Master Jolin went over their new duties and responsibilities as members of the CoFK. There was indeed quite a bit of responsibility placed on their shoulders, but like Raylia, he was certain their predecessors had enough faith in the pair of them to perform their tasks properly. He then turned his head slightly towards Raylia, as the Twi'lek women cast a glance in his direction as Master Jolin gave them a run down of the Jedi Shadows and their connection to the Council of First Knowledge. He pocketed the encoded comm link and memorized his codename and password, whilst Raylia suggested Zik Kine as a new addition to the Jedi Shadows. Rawkill really had nothing else to add or any more questions, and if he did, he was sure he could catch Master Jolin via a message or quick comm call. He gave a quick bow of his head to Master Jolin =Jedi Master Rawkill= I think I am pretty good with that, I hope to meet every expectation and uphold the virtues of the Council of First Knowledge.

Master Jolin promptly left as soon as the pair of new councilors agreed that they were all set. Raylia looked at her short comrade, seemingly overwhelmed by everything. "I suppose I should contact Zik and set up a meeting. In the meantime, I have some things to gather up. After that, I shall see where I am needed. With this war, I think I am going to have to cancel my lecture schedule."
She bowed respectfully to the ewok master, even though they were equals on the council, she wished him to know her reverence for his contributions to the Jedi. "See you soon, Master Rawkill."

*Within a few minute, Octvious walks back into the Archives with Mirania in tow. He takes her into the Medicinal area and starts picking out certain holovids that teach the healing corps of the Jedi their best techniques. Doing so was strictly forbidden for non-jedi. Octavious wasn't very keen on the rules anyways.*

Mirania followed him into the archives, curious about what they might hold for her. Though she was already quite proficient in healing, learning any new arts to increase her skill would be welcome, especially if Octavious was going to continue to get in trouble. She honestly didn't like the idea of him running a ten Sith gauntlet as he had so delicately put it, but it was part of his job.
She took a seat at one of the tables as Octavious set down some holovids for her."You sure it's OK for me to be using these?"Mirania wasn't even sure why she was asking, given Octavious' attitude concerning some of the Order's rules...

Rawkill couldn't help but smirk as she joked about having to cancel her lectures, before she bowed to him and said good bye. Rawkill bowed in return, knowing he would be on the move again soon to visit all the Temples and ensure everything was in order =Jedi Master Rawkill= See you soon as well Master Venci. I get the feeling I'll be on the move soon, I'll report in from the Temples and make sure their Archives are backed up to the main archive here... With that Rawkill hopped off his chair and made his way out of the office, up to the main Archive floor and out into the Temple, knowing there was much work for a member of the CoFK to take care of

Besides, what would they really do to her anyway? The worst they would do is ask her leave or join. Even then it wasn't like they would harm her. Plus it wasn't like she was stealing anything.*
"Don't worry. If anyone asks, you're my apprentice. Even if they do find out, the worst they'll do is give me a reprimand and possibly make you join. So relax and read up. Enjoy the serenity."
*Octavious crosses his arms and sits uncomfortably on the corner.*

Mirania smiled and nodded.[/span]"All right then."With that settled, she began to look at the various materials that Octavious had brought for her. She hoped that he wasn't too uncomfortable sitting there as this could probably take awhile to get through everything. Of course, she wasn't going to try to get through everything all at once but as long as they were here, she figured she ought to make good use of this time. It wasn't every day that she got to learn about healing like this.

Mirania smiled and nodded. *She was a natural. She dove right into it. Making use of the info. That was good and everything, but soon she would need a little practical application later. The Halls of healing would certainly come in handy as well. Octavious takes the time he has to use to his advantage as well. He takes out the holovids on Immersion and Cloak. He learned how to use them both at the same time, but it was taxing. He could only hold it for a very limited time. He had to figure out a way to combine them while mastering the Force form Force Affinity. He was only missing one step. But what was it? He dove into it deeper.*

Mirania spent quite a bit of time immersed in the texts, though it occurred to her after awhile that she would likely need people to practice on. One didn't learn healing just by reading after all. She just hoped that her practice wouldn't have to come from casualties of war, though given recent events, that might be all too likely. She sighed softly."Hm...I think I understand most of this. I'll just need to practice I guess."

Raylia wondered out in the Archives, a datapad in her blue hand as her emerald eyes scanned for the pair that had visited her office a few days before. She had checked the logs and they were still in the Temple and had been frequenting the archives. It took a few minutes of searching the stacks as the facility was huge. She finally located them and approached them carefully, a wide smile pasted across her face. She made eye contact with Octavious.
"Good afternoon, I'm Master Venci. I believe you requested some material from the restricted section. Please enjoy."
The datapad she handed to him was the mission brief of Zik's, indicating that he might require back up in retrieving the journal of Palpatine's from those who had been seeking it on Dromund Kaas.
