*This is an area of calm, tranquil surroundings. Most of the ground is covered in lush green grass, and sports a meandering stone path which twists throughout the place. Several ponds litter the area, with a central fountain. A small babbling stream winds around the garden as well. There are a few secluded places which jut off from the main garden, which provide solitude and extra shade. Around the whole place is a low brick wall, and the nearer to the corners you get, the thicker and taller the foliage and fungal growths get.
All manner of plant life native to the planet, and some not so native, grow here in protection from the darkness that sometimes plagues the rest of the planet. The plants are bright and natural in this setting, and will remain so until darkness can penetrate this deep into the base's defenses. Flowers and fungal growths thrive, and within this area several stone benches and mats are placed for resting purposes.*

*It was the day at last.**Today, he would be wed. After many years, of service to the Jedi, of rebuilding a planet, of sustaining an Academy, of wars and battles, of raising a family, of allowing his relationship to blossom and reveal its true potential, all of that would culminate in this moment, the binding of two souls in harmonious union. And really, it was about time, too. Why Aerandir hadn't been able to see it sooner, that they were meant to be together, he'd never know.
Aerandir was not big on large ceremonies. It was something he knew he had to do for some occasions with his status as a Jedi Councilor, but that didn't mean he had to enjoy the concept. Fortunately, Cassie seemed to share his feelings, and they settled on a private ceremony with family and close friends within the Gardens of the Jedi Base. A section of the Gardens was set aside for the ceremony, with several chairs set up, a carpet dividing the aisle between the rows, and a dais with an arch overhead for where the engaged couple would make their vows.
Of course, all the family was invited, and close friends that lived within the Jedi Base, such as Bix and his sister Shells, Tom Klanzo, Raven Alora, even Morgan's friend Ethan. There were many others the couple wished could be there, but they were distant, and they hadn't kept in contact for some time. But they proceeded as planned, Aerandir appointing Bix as his best man, and Cassie allowing Michelle, Annabelle, and Shells to be bridesmaids. Morgan and Jake acted as flower girl and ringbearer, respectively. Tom served double honors of walking Cassie down the aisle and even conducting the ceremony.
The scene was very tranquil, very calming, which was good for Aerandir's nerves. He stood upon the dais, dressed in a clean and formal set of Jedi robes, hands folded in front of him, looking out over the gathering. The dais and arch were set beneath the shade of olive- and orange-leaved trees, and a stream trickled beside the gathering, creating a lovely ambiance. The sun glittered through the foliage, casting crystal lights upon the ground and those gathered. Bix stood beside him, off the podium, while the bridesmaids stood to the other side, looking pretty in their nice dresses. Jake and Morgan, also dressed up, had already made their way down the aisle, and were standing to either side of the dais; Jake to the right with himself and Bix, and Morgan to the left, with the girls. Morgan held her basket of flower petals before her with a sweet smile, while Jake diligently held up the pillow bearing the rings.
They were both so adorable.
Aerandir smiled, but the nerves were back as Tom appeared with Cassie. He tried not to grimace, and was successful; after all, this was a happy moment. But also one of the biggest of his entire life. He tried to ignore his nerves by just watching Cassie, looking beautiful in her elegant dress, and heck, even Tom looked handsome in his black suit. And he seemed to be playing the role of the father well, for he had a strange mix of pride and restrained sadness on his expression. But after all, the man had known them for years, and he had been like a father to them.
Tom walked her down the aisle, helping her up onto the podium before ascending it himself, going around the pair as though not wanting to separate Aerandir and Cassie for the briefest moment. Aerandir and Cassie had their eyes locked upon each other's as she'd proceeded down the aisle. He unfolded his hands and offered them to her, and she took them. Tom began the ceremony, giving a very heartwarming speech about love and unions, but was not devoid of humor, joking that it took the bride and groom "long enough" to make it here. Vows were given, "I dos" were said, Jake offered the rings when requested and they were placed upon each other's fingers. And when all was said and done...*=Tom=You may kiss the bride. *Aerandir embraced Cassie, pulling her towards him and kissing her. As she returned the kiss and embrace, the gathered applauded for them. Jake had to tuck the pillow under one arm so he could clap, but he dropped it and quickly scooped it up, looking slightly embarrassed. When the newly-married couple separated, Aerandir smiled, whispering so that only she could hear.*We're finally here. *She smiled back, saying nothing, but she didn't need to: Her expression said it all.
Now that the ceremony was complete, the gathering began to disperse. The newlywed couple thanked everyone for coming, the guests congratulated them. There was no reception afterward, but they agreed it was for the better, as it was already a private ceremony and, while marriage was always a reason to celebrate, they agreed that it would be best to let the couple spend the rest of the day together. The setting was taken down and the materials stored away, and the section of the Gardens where the wedding took place was once again populated only by natural life.
And so began a new chapter in the life of Aerandir Calmcacil...*Welcome to JvS 2.0.

*It had only been a couple of days since her father's wedding, and Morgan wasn't having a difficult time adjusting to their new lifestyle. Only difference really was that Cassie lived with them, and Kayla was there every day. Sure, having Kayla around more meant things were a lot less quiet, but then, Morgan never spent much time in their quarters recently anyway. She preferred to be out in the base learning, or in the gardens playing or meditating, or out in the jungle exploring and learning more about the wilderness of the world she lived in.
But it wasn't the new lifestyle that Morgan had been concerned with, it was how her relationship with Cassie was supposed to be now. She guessed technically she would be Morgan's mother, since she was married to her father, but... that presented issues when Morgan considered the fact that, well, she already had two mothers in Felucia and Kory. She figured that was fine, since one was the spirit of the planet and the other was a human, so they were different kinds of mothers. But Cassie was also a human, and a Jedi, like Kory. Could she have two human mothers? Well, she supposed she already did, when she considered her birth mother. But she was long dead, and Kory now filled that role. But certainly two couldn't...
It was why she came to the Gardens, to meditate. She always felt more peaceful in the Gardens than anywhere else in the base, most likely due to the quiet tranquility it offered, with only various plant life, streams and fountains, and the sun above to keep her company. And Lokay, who seemed to enjoy the Gardens as well, though likely because he could chase bugs here.
As he wandered around to seek out snacks, take a drink from the fountain, or merely curl up and take a nap, Morgan sat cross-legged upon the grass, palms on her knees, her eyes closed and her head slightly bowed. As she cleared her thoughts and took her mind deeper into the swirling energies of the Force, her hair and clothing began to ripple as though a light breeze was constantly blowing past her and only her as the energy around her was given life by the Force.
Normally, she had visions. Sometimes vague and blurry, other times clear. They could be related to answers she was seeking, or they would be something else entirely. When she meditated only to meditate, they could be anything. Many she hadn't made sense of. Some she had.
Right now, she could see the world of Felucia opening up around her, fungal columns and trees reaching high above her and curving to meet in an arch that was split to allow the sun to shine brilliantly through. Between the arch was a clear patch of grass, a trail, several feet wide, that stood beside a stream, babbling alongside it. Two figures stood within, and she recognized both: Her father, and her mother. Her human mother. Something new seemed to form, and up in the sky, a new face, but transparent as though made from mist, with bronze skin, earthen brown hair, and bright amethyst eyes.
Felucia herself was watching over the two.
Morgan knew. These were her parents, the people in the universe who loved her most, who would do anything to protect her. And they were standing in the world that would listen to Morgan, and would provide her comfort, or food, or shelter, or protection when she needed it. But... there was no Cassie. What was this vision supposed to mean? That Cassie was not her mother? That she was merely the person her father married, and nothing more? She tried to understand why the Force was telling her not to take to Cassie as a mother, but that was a bit difficult when Morgan barely understood herself whether it would be right to consider herself as possessing two human mothers...*
*Married life was wonderful. Cassie didn't realize how wonderful it would have been. Had she made guesses? Sure, but it was even better than she realized. Or perhaps that was still post-wedding euphoria? She supposed all would reveal itself in time. But she enjoyed her new life, feeling part of a larger family and taking part in their daily lives. Kayla now had one home instead of switching places with her mother and father every so often, so no that was wonderful for her, too.
But there was still one minor thing Cassie had yet to settle: Morgan hadn't seemed to embrace her fully. Welcomed her into the family, yes, had been excited about the wedding and taking part, but otherwise, their relationship seemed, well, the same as it had been for some time, as though Cassie was still just a friend of the family. Cassie knew that Morgan had her "mothers," firstly the planet itself, then there was another woman she forgot the name of... Cassie kind of felt bad for that, but she had only heard it one time and never met the woman.
Still, Cassie couldn't help but possess a little worry that perhaps Morgan may not have been the most comfortable with Cassie being around. It was something Cassie hoped she was overreacting about, because there were few people Morgan openly disliked. Aerandir had even assured her that if she can sense someone's a good person on the inside, she'd be their best friend. But Cassie wanted to know for certain. And at the very least, it would be nice to have a one-on-one, girl-to-girl conversation.
After searching the base, following her senses, Cassie finally located Morgan in the Gardens. Cassie turned around some bushes to see her sitting in a small clearing on the other side of one of the streams, the two areas connected by a small bridge. Cassie hesitated, not certain she wanted to interrupt the meditation, but she suddenly noticed the ripplings, as though a breeze were blowing... and yet, only the immediate area around Morgan seemed to be affected. And Cassie was in pure awe at Morgan's abilities, amazed that such a thing could be done by such a small girl. And she was a pretty little girl, too.
Maybe if she called out gently and Morgan didn't respond, she could try again later, or just sit and patiently wait for her to be finished.* Morgan?
*Morgan heard her voice being spoken, and for a moment she thought it had come from her vision. Though her eyes were still closed, her expression perked up, as though there were more to her vision, that she would get an answer after all. But when she suddenly realized it was her ears that heard the voice, and not her mind, she gasped softly, eyes opening as she looked up, the intangible breeze stilling. The figures vanished, the natural landscape replaced by the organized beauty of the Gardens. Instead of her father and mother standing before her, there was Cassie.* Oh, er, hi Cassie! *Morgan realized she suddenly looked nervous. She tried to force a smile as sincerely as she could, but some of her expression cracked through. She didn't want Cassie to know what she'd just seen, that there was apparently no room for the woman in her life, at least not as a mother. She had to be friendly, at least, since she didn't want Cassie to feel uncomfortable or unwelcome.* Um, how are you?
*No response. Just when Cassie was about to turn away, Morgan suddenly looked up with a gasp, then seemed... nervous? Why? Were Cassie's suspicions true? That stung a bit, but Cassie tried not to frown. Besides, it was too soon to tell. Maybe Morgan just had a nasty vision. Or an embarrassing one. Whatever she was nervous about, she was trying to cover it up and be nice to her. Cassie was suddenly unsure about this, but she knew she had to try.
She took a step forward. Looking at Morgan with an "is it okay?" expression.* Do you mind if I sit next to you and talk to you?
*Sit and talk? Morgan was only slightly hesitant. Talking directly to Cassie could be the best thing right now, or the worst. She bit her lip, but quickly ceased this action, lest it cast any more suspicion on her, then forced another smile and nodded.* Sure!
*The gestures Morgan was making didn't do much to set Cassie's mind at ease. Was this a bad idea? No, she needed to do this. She needed to talk with Morgan, to hear her side of the story, to see if there was any true rift between them. It was for her own peace of mind. And to Morgan's credit, nothing about her seemed insincere through the Force. So Cassie crossed the small bridge, then sat down cross-legged in front of Morgan, smiling at her.* How are you doing today, Morgan? *Cassie figured the best way to open would be with conversation, try to get Morgan comfortable talking with her. If there was something between them, Cassie at least wanted to be able to let Morgan know she could speak to Cassie without any worries at all.*
*Morgan continued to smile as Cassie approached, trying not to let the nervousness or worry creep onto her expression. The timing was either the best in the galaxy or the worst, and the only way she could know for certain was to go through with this. Cassie wasted no time in sitting down in front of Morgan, smiling at her, asking how she was doing today.
But now that they were in close proximity, Morgan could instead sense unrest within Cassie herself. She almost frowned, but kept her expression together as she tried to analyze it. Uneasiness? Worry? Sadness? Was something wrong with Cassie? ... did she know? Morgan hoped she didn't know. Her expression tensed up for a moment, but quickly she forced the smile back onto it as she replied to Cassie's question.* Good! Well, it's an okay day. Nothing bad's happening at all! *Yeah, that wasn't suspicious at all. Morgan inwardly facepalmed, but outwardly maintained her composure. Maybe she could prevent Cassie from seeing through her. Maybe she could change the conversation...* ... are you okay, Cassie? I sense something wrong... *Her head tilted to the side, genuine concern written on her expression as she looked up into Cassie's hazel eyes with her own twinkling emerald ones. Maybe she could salvage this after all...*
*Morgan's expressions again fluctuated. But for what reasons? This was starting to worry Cassie, even more when the answer came with obvious falsity behind it. But then Morgan turned it around, asking if Cassie was okay, saying she sensed something wrong with her. Cassie's eyebrows raised, but she had to be impressed by Morgan's perceptions.
And her expression... that expression showed genuine concern for Cassie. True concern, care for her well-being. Was it then that Morgan's nervousness was brought on by something else entirely, and not Cassie's presence? It was heartening, and in a way made it easier to proceed, thinking perhaps Morgan would dismiss her claims and correct her. It was worth a shot at least...* Morgan... do you like having me around?
*Morgan frowned at the question. Was this what this was about? Did she think Morgan didn't like her? That was further from the truth than anybody could know!* Of course I like having you around! Why would you think I didn't?
*Morgan's answer seemed almost indignant, but at the very least absolutely sincere. Cassie relaxed slightly, relieved that she had been worried for nothing. But her next question deserved an answer, and Cassie wasn't sure how to word her response. Did she want Morgan to think of her as a mother? Yes, but the last thing she wanted was to seem like she wanted to force that on Morgan. It was the girl's choice, in the end.
And she'd understand if Morgan preferred to keep to her other mothers.
She took a deep breath and exhaled before responding with a question.* Do you think of me as a mother?
*And there it was. Morgan knew it would come to this. So what did she say? "No, because the Force said so?" That didn't seem like a real answer. She bit her lip, then looked away, sucking in her left cheek between her teeth. Must she rely on the Force to answer everything? Sure, the Jedi all believed in the "will of the Force," and all that, but Morgan preferred to think it was more of a guide, and she could choose to go along with the prewritten future or seize her own destiny. Personally, she liked to think she could still serve the Force while writing her own future.
... but even then, did she really think of Cassie as a mother? Was the Force really writing her future for her, or just revealing her feelings before she knew what they were? She wasn't sure what to say to Cassie. She thought for a moment longer, trying to think of the right thing to say. Then she looked up at her and smiled sweetly.* You're really nice, Cassie. I like having you around. Everyone does. But you're new. I just gotta get used to you. I didn't call Felucia Mommy right away. And Kory wasn't my mama for lots of days. Well, not lots, but it was still a little while. You'll be my mother too, soon. *... where did that come from? Morgan hadn't expected anything that deep and thoughtful, she just wanted to give Cassie a nice answer that wouldn't hurt her feelings. Morgan was suddenly in awe of her own self. But then she smiled sweetly again, hoping it was an answer Cassie would accept.*
*The silence, the thoughtful looks, the little cheek-chewing habit Morgan had been known for for years, it was all getting to Cassie. Normally, when someone had to think about their answer, it didn't turn out good. But when Morgan spoke, suddenly smiling, Cassie's eyes slowly widened as the girl showed incredible wisdom and tact in her answer.
It wasn't a matter of whether she would think of Cassie as a mother, just of when.
The answer was so elegant and assuring that Cassie felt a great relief, and she smiled, nearly fighting tears. She leaned forward and wrapped her arms around Morgan, and Morgan didn't hesitate to lean into Cassie's arms and return the hug.* Thank you, Morgie. You're a wonderful little girl.
*Morgan smiled as she snuggled against Cassie, glad to know she'd put the woman's mind at ease.* You're a good person too, Cassie. And I'm sure you'll be a good mother too soon. *When they released each other, Morgan leaned back into her sitting position, watching as Cassie smiled at her and got up to leave. As she neared the bridge, Morgan called out to her.* Maybe I could just call you "Mom"? I mean, I call Felucia "Mommy" and Kory "Mama," so you could be "Mom."
*As Cassie stood there, one step from the bridge, grateful for the conversation, and Morgan's pure truth and wisdom, Cassie also had to realize just how clever the girl was, to differentiate her mothers with different variations of the word. But she was also touched that Morgan would pick a word for her too, even if it was the simplest of them; that still meant she accepted her. Turning, trying to ignore the moisture in her eyes, Cassie smiled at Morgan.* Only if you'd like.
*And with that, Cassie left the Gardens, leaving Morgan to watch where she'd disappeared. So, she guessed she could accept three mothers after all, no matter what her vision said. Morgan took a deep breath and exhaled, feeling relieved herself. She supposed three was much better than none, which had been the case for so long in her life. Had been the case even when her birth mother was alive...
But instead of her losses, she preferred to think of the gains. Three great, awesome, wonderful mothers. All of which loved her, wanted to be her friend and protect her and take care of her. She looked up to the sky, where not a single cloud broke the bluish-purple expanse above her, and she smiled. She then looked over at Lokay, who was snoozing comfortably a short distance from her, just out of range of her meditation bubble. She grinned to herself, then started to relax. Once more she closed her eyes, bowing her head slightly, giving herself into the Force's ebb and flow once more, as the gentle breeze picked up around her again.
And she watched as Aerandir and Kory turned to welcome Cassie with smiles and open arms, as Felucia smiled above them...*

*So, she'd been able to get Mark to meet her father, who'd been able to get him a place to stay and a possible evaluation. Morgan hadn't been able to talk to him about her troubling premonition yet, though. What should she say to him? How? She'd been talking about the Earth Empire and heard a voice in her head. That should have been simple enough, right? Yet the whole thing was troubling her...
When she wanted to be at peace, Morgan came to the gardens. It was the best place to ease one's mind. And an even better place to meditate. But she didn't meditate immediately; she instead sat on the edge of a fountain, staring into its clear water, as though her reflection could give her some sort of answer. It didn't, but at least the fountain was a bit relaxing. Feeling a bit more peace of mind, she inhaled, then sighed.
She folded her legs beneath her, set her palms on her lap, and closed her eyes. Once more she cleared her mind, giving herself into the flow of the Force. The air again picked up around her, whipping her hair and clothes, casting ripples across the surface of the water. She waited for a voice, for images, for some kind of sign, but so far, nothing was coming. "Just be patient," she told herself, "you'll see something..."*

Terra had stopped briefly to the cafeteria to eat, though she hadn't been very hungry and had only had a light lunch. So far, there hadn't been much for her to do here, but from what she could tell, things were fairly slow moving at the moment. Maybe the activity would pick up sometime later, but for now, there wasn't much she could help with.
Feeling a little bored, she had wandered into the gardens, and upon entering, she knew this would likely be her favorite spot in the base. She loved being outside, finding it much easier for her to think and meditate when she was surrounded by nature. These gardens were different than the ones on Corellia, but no less peaceful, and it seemed she wasn't the only one in there. Sitting some distance away near one of the fountains was Morgan, who seemed to be meditating, so Terra made sure she approached quietly so as not to disturb her. She sat down on the other side with a sigh and looked around the place, taking in the new sights.

*The only one to notice Terra's entrance was little Lokay, who, as usual, was curled up on the ground outside of Morgan's meditation bubble, not wanting to be disturbed by the ripplings of the Force. He peeked up at the woman as she entered, blinked and eyed her curiously for a moment or two, then curled up again, content to merely nap for a while.
Morgans mind, meanwhile, remained blank. She tried to concentrate harder, thoughts practically begging for some sort of image or premonition regarding the sudden voice in her mind. Suddenly, an outline. Was this it? Was she finally about to receive some insight? It was faint, and obscured by dark fog. Morgan didn't like where this was going. The figure grew, and Morgan was able to make out a silhouette. It was hooded, somewhat stocky. It continued to grow larger in her mind's eye, until it turned, revealing the face of a bearded man. His dark eyes looked directly into her own, and he spoke:
"I no longer seek you."
The figure suddenly vanished, causing Morgan to suddenly open her eyes, jumping in place with a soft yelp. She braced herself by placing her palms to either side of her and stared into her lap, breathing heavily. Her forehead felt moist and she reached up to dab it; a small amount of sweat was there. She'd really been concentrating then, hadn't she? She wiped her brow, then looked up when she suddenly sensed a nearby presence.* Terra! Hi! How long have you been here? *She asked that without sounding suspicious, for it was a genuine question. Sure, she had her vision to think about, but that was something she wanted to speak with her father about first. The figure... she didn't recognize it, and yet it seemed he recognized her, claiming that he no longer sought her. That was... a good thing, right? She didn't know. Maybe she could put it out of her mind for now and offer Terra a friendly conversation.
Lokay, meanwhile, seeing that Morgan was no longer meditating, flew to her side, climbing into her lap. She stroked his scales instinctively, still watching Terra with a neutral expression, unable to muster a smile at the moment.*

Terra looked over at Morgan, noticing that the young girl was not smiling or looking at all like the cheerful child who had shown her and Mark around the academy. Her first guess was that she had seen something in her meditations, though she had no idea what it could have been. Maybe she would ask later, but for now, she didn't want to intrude on something that might not be any of her business.
She shrugged and smiled a little. "A few minutes. I'm....well I was...bored so I...came here." She sighed softly, wondering if there was something she should be doing to help.

*A few minutes? Had she seen Morgan meditating and decided to wait until she was done? Well, that was kind, at least, Morgan thought so. Morgan smiled a little bit, but not too much, as she unfolded her legs, carefully shifting Lokay onto her new lap, and let her legs hang over the edge of the fountain.* Well, is there anything you want to do? I could probably show you around or something, if you want. *... wait, she'd already done that. But she hadn't meant that in a "show you on a tour" sense, more of a "show you around the fun places" sense. Either way, it would be nice to get her mind off things for a bit, then go tell her father about both of the visions she'd seen so far... but later.*

Terra smiled a little. "Well you already showed me around the base. Um...was there anywhere else?" She honestly wasn't sure if there was a place Morgan hadn't shown her yet, as they had pretty much gone everywhere in the base. For someone so young, Morgan had been quite the effective tour guide, and she seemed to be mature for her age, though Terra hadn't yet asked just how old she was.

*Yep, there was the misinterpretation, but it was mostly Morgan's fault; she'd phrased it in a vague manner. Was there anything else? No, Morgan didn't think so, at least, not in the base. She shook her head.* Nope. Unless you want to see the jungle or something. I could show you around out there if you wanted, but we couldn't go too far. *How much did Terra know about the jungle? Well, she was older, and Felucia was fairly infamous for its deadly jungle. Then again, it was far from the most dangerous jungle in the galaxy, and Morgan had her special connection that kept her mostly safe anyway, so it never worried her...*

Terra thought for a moment about exploring the jungle around the base, though her knowledge about the jungles of Felucia were sadly lacking. She hadn't read much about it, but going even just a little ways into the jungle would be better than just reading a book about it. As long as they were careful though...
She smiled. "Sure. I mean...as long as we're careful, right?" She didn't mind staying close to the base, not wanting to venture too far in a jungle that she knew next to nothing about.

*Morgan finally did grin when Terra agreed that going out to the jungle was a good idea. Happily, she hopped down off the fountain and stood up straight, glad she was still barefoot from earlier; for her, going out into the jungle was always better when she was barefoot.* Okay then, follow me! And don't worry. We won't be in trouble! *She beamed and marched out of the gardens, leading Terra onward to the outside. This was going to be fun...*

Terra arrived in the gardens, and she took a deep breath of the morning air before taking a seat on one of the benches. She had a lot of reading to do, and besides actually leaving the base, she couldn't think of a better place to do so than here. Opening up one of the datapads she had checked out of the archives, she got started and was soon utterly absorbed in it.

*Several minutes after Terra had entered the gardens had passed in peace for her. But she soon would be able to hear the sound of giggling children as Morgan and her twin brother Jake ran into the gardens. They'd just come from a class and were ready to unwind and play and relax. Normally, for Morgan, this would have meant going into the jungle, but Jake had another class to go to soon and he didn't have time to go to the jungle, so the gardens would suffice.
They hadn't gotten too far, however, when Morgan noticed a familiar figure sitting on a bench reading. Grinning, Morgan stopped her brother, then, Lokay perched once more on her shoulder, she led Jake toward the reading woman.* Terra! Hi! Look, this is my brother Jake! I told you about him yesterday, remember? *She giggled as she gestured toward Jake, then stepped aside slightly, turning to Jake and gesturing to Terra in turn.* Jake, this is Terra. She's the one I was out in the jungle with last night. She's really nice! *She hadn't told Jake just exactly what they had done in the jungle, other than showing her around and the jungle lit up at night. Terra probably didn't want that information spread around, especially not to a little boy, so Morgan would respect that. Right now, at least.*

*Jake had ran in behind Morgan, grinning and laughing, full of pent-up energy he wanted to expend before his next lesson. He too wished he could have gone to the jungle, but he could do that later. Besides, the gardens were just as fun. But Morgan was quickly distracted by someone she recognized, stopping Jake and calling out to the girl as she led him to her.
Terra? Oh, that was the girl Morgan had told her family about last night. Jake smiled, eager to meet the lady. Morgan introduced him to her and vice-versa, though he was almost concerned exactly what Morgan had told Terra about him. He was distracted briefly when he saw Terra up close; she was actually kind of pretty. She was no Adelle, but she was still fairly attractive.
... why was he thinking about that?! He blushed a little, quickly trying to cover it up by bowing politely to her.* It's an honor to meet you, Terra. *Bah, it was no use, he couldn't hide that. He grinned, trying to hide his mild nervousness, but was likely failing. He really needed to get better at meeting people...*

Terra didn't notice the two children approaching until they had come close, and she quickly looked up to see Morgan and a young boy approaching her. She smiled and put down the datapad she had been reading, assuming that the boy was Morgan's brother. She had mentioned him the day before at the lake, and she could see that Morgan was bringing him along to meet Terra.
She smiled at Jake."It's nice to meet you too, Jake." She smiled and leaned back on the bench, noticing that Jake seemed a little nervous, but she knew what that was like. Sometimes meeting new people was nerve wracking, so she put on a gentle smile. "So what are you two up to right now?"

*Jake seemed a little nervous when he greeted Terra, but that wasn't really new. Well, most of the time. He didn't have too much trouble introducing himself most of the time, just... with girls. Oh, Morgan got it now. She grinned, suppressing a giggle. Terra then asked what the two of them were up to, and Morgan turned back to her and shrugged.* We just got out of a class and came here to play before Jake had to go to his next class. What are you reading? *If Terra was too busy reading, Morgan could take Jake and go play away from her for a bit until Jake had to leave; she didn't want to bother Terra if she was busy.*

Terra smiled and held up the datapad she was reading to show them."This is about Felucia. Or rather, some of its history. I wanted to learn more about the planet since I'll be staying here for a bit." Truth be told, she didn't know how long her stay on Felucia was supposed to last, though at least the first day here had been fun. She looked over at Jake, figuring she would try to include him in the conversation, gently of course. If he was shy, then it might take some time for him to open up, like it often did for her."What class are you going to next, Jake?"

*Jake smiled when Terra said it was nice to meet him, then listened as she and Morgan spoke briefly. Terra was reading about the history of Felucia, since she was staying here for a bit. Jake grinned; if she wanted to know more, all she had to do was ask Morgan, and no doubt Morgan would jump right in and give her all the information she needed—
Oh, she was asking Jake a question instead. Well, that was unexpected, but that was okay. Jake smiled.* Oh, it's just a History of the Galaxy class. Nothing too special. *His eyes widened. Would Terra think he was dismissing history as unimportant? That wasn't what he meant at all! He had to clear that up!* Er, but I like history, so it's not boring or anything! It's just, well, it's not really a, um... ... a class where much happens, I guess. *Joy. He still wasn't good at making an impression. He really had to work on that...*

Terra noticed that Jake seemed a bit flustered, but she kept the gentle smile on her face. Personally, she loved reading about history, hence the datapad on Felucia that she had picked to read first. Jake didn't seem as enthusiastic about history, but that was all right."That's fine. I really love reading about history though."
